It could’ve been depending on what was discussed. There would need to be negotiations for it to violate the act.

If the right played by the same rules as the left they would be making a much bigger deal of his visit. Even if there is no evidence of why he was there, ask the questions. Don’t let it fly under the radar. Throw out the accusations. Could you imagine the uproar of Trump visited a British PM after he left office?

But as it stands no one is even talking about the Obama/Sunak visit because it’s all about Kate.

Nobody has been charged with a Logan act violation since 1852. And if someone finally is you be danged sure that it will NOT be a democrat

Kate, Princess of Wales, has revealed she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

In a personal message, the 42-year-old said planned abdominal surgery in January was successful and it was initially thought her condition was non-cancerous.

But tests after the operation found cancer had been present, she said, adding: "This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."

The mother of George, Charlotte and Louis said doctors had advised her to have a course of preventative chemotherapy and she is currently in the early stages of that treatment.

"It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment," she said.

"But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.

"As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits."

She described having her husband Prince William by her side as a "great source of comfort and reassurance", adding: "As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you - it means much to us both."

Kate has not been seen on official engagements since late December, when she was pictured on a Christmas Day walk with other members of the Royal Family in Sandringham, Norfolk.

The future queen's long absence had sparked global social media speculation and conspiracy theories, and a Mother's Day photo released of her and her three children did little to quell the frenzy after it was revealed to have been edited.


Earlier this week, The Sun published a video of the couple on a visit to a farm shop in Windsor, with an onlooker describing the princess as "super happy" and "relaxed".

Confirmation of Kate's illness comes less than two months after King Charles, 75, announced he had been diagnosed with cancer.

His cancer came after hospital treatment for an enlarged prostate, although it is not known what type of cancer he has or what stage it is at.

I so hope she will completely recover. Hate to think of those children without Kate. Must have been caught really early so she has the best chance. No wonder William was not available! Prayers for her because yes, cancer is the worst!

They claimed it was thought not to be cancer but later found out it was. OK, but with Kate unable to return to "official duties," I suspect they will make some serious offers to Andrew's daughters and/or Harry if they simply refuse. Considering how they were treated when they wanted to work for The Firm, I think the girls are a long shot except for maybe a short period for one or both of them. Harry is a wild card; I lot would depend on Meghan (and William).

Sophie & Edward are now the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. Sophie, Edward, Anne and her husband, Timothy Laurence are all hardworking members of the family. Their work doesn’t get as much attention because they are not young and glamorous

Andrew’s daughter, Princess Eugenie did an event yesterday reading to children to promote the charity Elephant Family which was founded by Queen Camilla’s late brother. I think she and her sister would step up if asked.

It was decided years ago to deliberately slim down the number of “working royals” which is why Andrew’s daughters have never been working members of the family. However, when that decision was made no one could’ve foreseen Harry leaving and Andrew being sidelined (for lack of a better term). Never mind both the King and Princess of Wales being diagnosed with cancer at the same time.
