A royal family announcement is on the horizon.

According to reports, BBC Events production unit has been notified to keep an eye out for a “major announcement” from the royal family in the wake of current health crisis.

Popapologists, run by sisters Lauren & Chen, took to TikTok to post a video about being the British broadcaster being put on notice.
The pop culture fanatic duo pointed out the current Kate Middleton health crisis after she was removed from the list of attendees from Trooping the Colour in June.
It is pertinent to note that the Princess of Wales has only been said to remain out of action until Easter in April as she recovers from abdominal surgery.

Hence, uncertainty around her appearance to mark arguably one of the biggest royal events poses suspicion over the prospective announcement.

Speculations went rife about Princess Kate’s whereabouts due to her prolonged absence following her joint appearance with the royal family on Christmas in Sandringham.
It also fueled rumours of her split with Prince William over the latter’s alleged affair with the couple’s longtime pal Rose Hanbury.
The future Queen of England also drew ire after admitting to making adjustments to her first official photo with her kids, posted on social media last week.

It doubt it is Kate. I suspect she either had a hysterectomy or surgery related to Chrons disease. Which would make that target window for her healing and recovery.

I think the announcement is King Charles is close to death. He should never have been made King and I think this is fate putting in the person who should have been crowned upon Elizabeth's death.

Yup, all o' the hoopla since the edited photos has had the air o' tabloid press and their goons frantically throwing spaghetti to the wall to see what "ding" might stick and damage the royal "brand"

..I just didn't wanna get dinged for having stuck it all in the king charles thread, hoping it would go away, only to create threaddrift, so am giving the "news" it's own thread.

ETA I hope rumours of her unexpectedly slow recovery/poorer than anticipated health are also more tabloid fair for the rabbit hole and boxed beverage brigade : (

TOPLINE Rumors continue to swirl online about the whereabouts of Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales—who has not been seen publicly since Christmas after she reportedly had abdominal surgery—including one claim, that has gone unconfirmed by all key players, that the BBC has been told to be on alert for an announcement from the Royal Family.

Viral posts online have suggested that the BBC, Britain’s public broadcaster, is “on-alert” for an unspecified major announcement from the Royals in the coming days, but the broadcaster has not said anything publicly to confirm that.

The BBC has not replied to Forbes about whether they were alerted to any pending Royal announcement.

Kate’s months away from the public have prompted social media speculation about where exactly she is and the specifics of her announced medical procedure. On Jan. 17, Kensington Palace announced Kate’s abdominal surgery to the public and said “based on the current medical advice,” it was “unlikely [she would] return to public duties until after Easter.” The announced months away prompted some online speculation about her health and her whereabouts but that speculation grew rapidly last week when the family released a photo for Mother’s Day. On March 10, Kensington Palace shared a photo of Kate and her three children that they said was taken by William, the Prince of Wales. Quickly after the image was posted online social media users began claiming it was digitally altered. Hours after it was posted a handful of news outlets, including the Associated Press, retracted the image saying “the source had manipulated the image in a way that did not meet AP’s photo standards.” One day later, Kensington Palace released a statement signed by Kate that included an apology and a claim that she was an “amateour photographer” who “[experiments] with editing.” That series of events led to online unconfirmed claims that Kate was in a coma (the Palace reportedly dismissed this theory as “ludicrous”) and claims that William was having an affair and Kate planned to leave him.

SURPRISING FACT

On Friday, Agence France-Presse told the BBC that Kensington Palace was no longer considered a “trusted source” after they released the digitally altered photo of Kate and her children. In an interview with the BBC, Phil Chetwynd, global news director of AFP, described the “kill notice”—the decision to tell outlets not to use the photo because it was alerted—as a “big deal” that is more commonly used for propaganda from North Korea or Iran.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

The couple may discuss Kate’s recovery in the future, unnamed people “familiar with the couple’s thinking,” told The Times of London. They did not specify when a discussion of Kate’s health might happen but said the reference to an Easter return in the Palace’s announcement was to the children’s school holidays not Easter weekend itself. The Times of London reported the couple’s children return to school on April 17.

Some speculation I had with a canadian friend last night was that William might be an abuser and the throne at that point would go to his first son with Princess Anne as appointed regent followed by Sarah as regent.

Other speculation was that if there was not domestic abuse, it could be a case where there would still be a regent appointed so that the kiddos could have a somewhat normal childhood with Mum and dad.

The thing that sticks out is the kiddos have been pulled out of school since Elizabeth died basically...

Other speculation could be that the throne could be pulling out from the WEF so that they might not get overthrown.

Or they are firing some ministers without advance warning getting ready to address the muslim violence factor

Or declaring war agains Russia or other existential threats.

I doubt it would be abuse. She would have known that before marrying him after being in a relationship with him, on and off for almost a decade - good and bad, fights, tiffs and all.

My canadian friend was in a relationship similar as the high profile william. Her take was that you can never tell an abuser outright they hide it very well and the royal family is nothing if not proficient at covering up and hiding the truth.

Sometimes abuse does not occur until after being married, many times it is before. Other times is that one can put up with the abuse as the abuser makes it to attractive to stay.
