The photo is impressive, but is this outdated USSR junk? The Ruskies have been bragging over the last few years to have tanks superior to ours. I suspect they have at least a close equal. The point being, all that armor depicted could be wiped out in short order by the Ruskies. Now this is talking tank on tank battles. Add to the mix rockets from aircraft or drones and it does not matter how good the tanks are. What counts here is the Ukrainian air force being a match to deter the Russian AF.

I recall Saddam's mighty tank force. It never stood a chance.

I would view this situation as a "concrete" line in the sand.

Update: According to consistent Ukrainian media reports, the Ukrainian army has now been put into full combat readiness. The Ukrainian portal "Strana" also quotes an officer as saying that both sides have rebuilt their old positions in the buffer zone.
