BTR-82A
This is the same vehicle as the BTR-82, but with the much more capable 2A72 30 mm gun
replacing the 14.5 mm KPVT heavy machine gun. The gun is dual-fed with HE-FRAG and
APDS-T rounds, with a maximum range of 2,000 m during the day. Additionally, a programmable fuse system allows the vehicle to airburst the 30 mm HE-FRAG shells just above targets, diminishing the value of cover such as walls.

One would hope the butt end of these vehicles have been reinforced. The old BTR-60 was vulnerable in the rear around the fording propeller port; one good sabot round and everyone inside turns into pink high velocity blood spatter. Icky...........

The Russians are going to go full tilt and other fronts around the world will probably go as well Israel and its Arab allies vs Iran and China Taiwan yup it could be a full blown world war

If the Russians decide to "annex" (cough, cough) the Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine I could easily see Russian forces advancing and holding a Kharkov-Donetsk-Maiupol line within seven days. Russia has Ukraine outflanked to the North and the South and could seriously threaten any attempt by Ukraine and NATO to intervene. Indirect Russian attacks at the Dnipro road/river/rail junction there would cutoff reinforcements headed towards Eastern Ukraine.

The best NATO could do is to launch air and missile strikes along with an emergency dispatch of "smart" anti-tank and anti-air missiles. Those would likely be expended in just a few days.

I would also think that the Russians would try to establish a land bridge from Mariupol to the Crimea

Russian forces in Crimea can very easily intervene anywhere on the Southern flank. Plus, Russian amphibious forces can strike from the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov also.

The goal is to get us dragged into it. What a better way to unite the country than an all out war. What a great diversion from the massive election fraud than an all out war. What a wonderful way to route out all of us not in favor of it and lock us up as traitors. What a great way for the military industrial complex to get richer than imaginable. War is the answer to all the left's prayers to Satan.
