ALERT RUSSIA INVADES UKRAINE - Consolidated Thread

Not that this has anything to do with the war in Ukraine and not to hijack the thread, but I thought I'd post a picture of a F-15 with a KC-135 refueling tanker. Note that the F-15 is about two-thirds the length of the KC-135 (and I wouldn't call the KC-135 "small" unless you're parking it with 747-sized planes). Check out the relative sizes the next time someone posts a picture of the Air Force One 747 with its companion fighter jets.

View attachment 353407

To at least mention Ukraine, how about a new conspiracy theory that says the reason President Befuddled's administration is so keen on the war in Ukraine is that they all need somewhere to go when the Democrats lose power, and since they're such a power behind the Ukrainian throne (so to speak) they can make it so there's no extradition treaty with the U.S. :)
Kinda hard to hijack this thread; it's been all over the place for weeks.

This constant throwing out every report with the question; if (place other side here) is winning (place single report or out of context propaganda piece here) is childish in the case of this war. This conflict has turned into a military meat grinder, this is causing Both sides to reach deeper into their bags of resources.

I know some are personally invested in being proven to be on either the ‘right’ or ‘winning side’ but reading some posts are like watching kids in the back seat of a Plymouth in a long road trip before tech.

Maybe we can just share information without the hyperbole and let people draw their own context and relationships...

Everything at this point is hype from both sides.

At this point, all we can do is gather the information, shelve it and see what really materializes going forward in this phog of war narratives. I can't see where this conflict will go or take us in the future yet.

In my opinion, this war was a mistake and should/could have been avoided with Putin, but the DNC/DS has taken us into the fast lane of more wars and World Order Domination.

The EuroMaiden Obama/Soros/CIA Coup backing radical Nazi's overthrowing Viktor Yanukovych and installing Zelenskyy, a corrupt CIA asset helping the Deep State funneling money to collectively hold power.

But the Obama Admin/DNC/DS/DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA were intoxicated with so much power they had to turn it on the American population by spying (Snowden) and persecuting their political opposition in similar ways to try and hold power.

Then when they lost in 2016 they did not peacefully transfer power. They used a weaponized DNC/DS-DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA to block and impede Trump at every turn. Then in 2020 they used the plandemic, shutdowns and riots/revolution to influence the 2020 election, to ultimately silence a duly elected sitting president with a similar type of Coup to hold power.

Putin, who's a very dangerous leader is fully backed by China and all their growing allies.

The DNC/DS/WEF think by giving China dominance over the West's Economy and even our Electric Grid will side line them during their little Ukraine Coup/War excursion to wear down Russians on their New Liberal Global World Order path.

This is something I would've even gone along with if it was to truly fortify the Baltic's and pigeon hole Russia's first strike preparations and China's pacific expansion plans (not necessarily in that order).

My issue is with the DNC/DS/WEF backing the war in Ukraine is also hell bent Authoritarian's on taking down the West's Independent Middle Class with their freedoms all at same time by attacking:

1. Freedom of Speech, weaponized MSM/BT
2. Value of the dollar
3. Inflation
4. Price of Energy
5. Supply Chain Failures
6. Food Supply
7. Forced Experimental Jabs
8. Forced Lockdowns
9. BLM-ANTIFA to Riot and Chaos on demand to hold power
10. Fortified Elections
11. Woke culture war on families and their children
12. WH Weaponized FBI, DOJ, CIA, NSA, IRS, Pentagon
13. Using racism to destroy any unity in America
14. Illegal Immigration to over load the system
15. De-fund the Police
16. Legalizing hard drugs making more dependent
17. Fostering criminals and crime on businesses and population
18. While attacking self-defense and 2A.

I could go on illustrating, but we get their dystopian picture they've created to bring New Order out of their Chaos in transitioning the West into their 2030 New Liberal World Order goals.

The DNC/DS thought they could make China a competitor with Russia by advancing Beijing's (military) technology (Clinton), industrialization, wealth and a global seat at the table could influence and control China. The people making this policy and getting grift influence were not paying attention to what Russia, China and their growing allies are really doing together and how long their history has been intertwined supporting each other after WW2 against the West in wars and conflicts in Korea, Cuba, Vietnam and other regions.

The DNC/DS think they can control and rely on China to stay in their lane out of this Russian conflict. This was foolish thinking from the beginning. When you're bought and paid for by China they will exercise their own goals of expansion with impunity.

The DNC/DS has been backed by China to wear down the Independent Middle Class, the strongest fighting pillar of resistance to their totalitarian domination in America and China backs banning and removing firearms in the US, notice how the West Coast has been growing the most restrictive in the direct paths of their beachheads.

Russia and China have been working on their own long range Bi-Polar World Order Plans for a Post-American World Order. Where they have free dominance over their respective regions and expand their territories, powers and influence unabated. Especially in newly conquered vacuums of power and territory from a divided and defeated America that once influenced Europe, the Pacific and North America.

'Appalling' videos alleged to show Russian soldiers castrating a Ukrainian soldier
By Tim Lister, Gul Tuysuz and Kostan Nechyporenko, CNN

Updated 4:14 PM ET, Sat July 30, 2022

A Ukrainian national flag hangs from a balcony of a civilian destroyed buildings in Irpin, Ukraine, on June 16, 2022.

(CNN)Videos alleged to show Russian soldiers castrating and killing a bound and gagged Ukrainian soldier are circulating on social media, drawing an accusation of potential war crimes from the United Nations and prompting a Ukrainian investigation into possible torture.

The three videos appear to show a soldier wearing what look like yellow and blue patches -- the colors of the Ukrainian flag -- on the ground, with his hands tied behind his back, first being gagged, then mutilated, then shot.

CNN cannot independently verify the authenticity of the videos which circulated widely on social media after first appearing on a pro-Russian Telegram channel. CNN also has not independently verified the nationality of the perpetrators or the victim.
The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said it is appalled by the videos. In a statement issued late Friday, the Monitoring Mission said the "torture and summary executions of prisoners of war and persons hors de combat are war crimes."

The video that appears to come first shows the victim being gagged surrounded by at least four men, one of whom is wearing what looks like a Russian uniform with the "Z" insignia associated with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

A second video shows the same man writhing on the ground as a man wearing blue surgical gloves and what appears to be a Russian uniform cuts off the victim's underwear with a box cutter. The man uses the same box cutter to castrate him, then holds the mutilated genitals up for the camera. In the video, the perpetrators can be heard saying "hold him, hold him" in Russian.

The third video shows the bound and mutilated man being shot in the head and dragged away.

CNN has contacted the Russian Ministry of Defense for comment about the videos.

The UN Monitoring Mission said on Facebook it "is appalled by the latest videos, apparently showing the beating, castration and shooting of a captured soldier from the Ukrainian Armed Forces by a man, who appears to be a member of the Russian armed forces or affiliated armed groups."

"In one of the videos the tortured soldier appeared to be shot in the head and his body dragged into a ditch. If confirmed, these actions would constitute war crimes."

The UN Monitoring Mission said: "Unfortunately, this is only the latest in a series of videos that have documented torture and extrajudicial killings of prisoners of war and persons hors de combat, committed by belligerent parties."

"HRMMU has publicly reported on videos showing Ukrainian soldiers shooting the legs of three captured Russian soldiers and in a separate case shooting and killing an injured Russian soldier," the UN Monitoring Mission wrote.

It added: "All parties must refrain from torture, killings and threats of giving no quarter to captured combatants. They must promptly and effectively investigate all allegations of torture and unlawful killings."

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on Friday strongly condemned "Russia's ongoing illegitimate and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine and its people brings further horrific atrocities day by day."

"Evidence in form of appalling video footage has been widely shared on pro-Kremlin social networks today, in which Russian soldiers commit a heinous atrocity against a Ukrainian prisoner of war," Borrell said in a statement.

Amnesty International has demanded an investigation into the videos.

"This horrific assault is yet another apparent example of complete disregard for human life and dignity in Ukraine committed by Russian forces. All those suspected of criminal responsibility must be investigated," said Marie Struthers, Amnesty International's Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

"Since the start of Russia's war on Ukraine, Amnesty International has documented crimes under international law, like summary killings of captives by Russia-backed separatist forces in eastern Ukraine and extrajudicial executions of Ukrainian civilians by Russian forces," she said.

This was posted upthread somewhere. I watched part of it.
They blurred out everything.

Couldn't see the faces of the perpetrators.
If there is a good frame of an ear or eyes and nose bridge, they could be identified. I doubt there is interest at the higher levels. Jmho

BREAKING: The Ukrainian government has decided that everyone in the Ukrainian Donetsk region should be evacuated - Zelensky

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the number of supporters that Russia has in the population there. And they would be so useful as hostages in any future negotiations with Russia. :hmm:

Wonder if they plan one as successful as they did with the Azov in Mariupol?

This isn't good on any accounts, don't care who did it, crime against humanity

Verbrannte Erde = Scorched Earth

Widely practiced by both sides in WWII. The Russian authorities burned their own fields and farms ahead of the advancing Germans and the Germans burned everything down again when the Russians were advancing.

Then and now, Ukraine took the brunt of a large part of the carnage. Actually, a rather disproportinate share considering the
Holodomor of 1932-33 instigated by Stalin.

I am amazed, on almost a daily basis, of all of the parallels I see between WWII, the first Cold War, 1991 Yugoslav War and now in Ukraine, the start of Cold War Part II, Act 1.

Plus the alleged video shows mainly one person with the blade and the one person on the ground. Add the one taking the vid and you got three. 3 people total.

Then generalize to condemn by implication the entire Russian military for an act by 2 individuals (unknown who they are) against another individual (unknown who he is).

Has not been the first time this type of propaganda has been tried for this war, and will be far from the last time.

My apologies for the double post, few things annoy me like that, particularly when I'm the sloppy poster doing it!

.. I've seen him "identified" repeatedly, but of course only the Lord knows the truth of any of it... or how many will/have died over it. I still haven't watched it.

A lot of atrocities being put forward recently, all pretty much from the same sources, as it has been through this whole fiasco.

Not much has been said, oddly enough, about the Ukrainians - after getting wind of the Azov battalion prisoners beginning to talk - turned a bunch of them into charcoal after sending a spare HIMARS into their prison barracks.

Zelensky: "Oh, that's not OUR himars!"

Charcoaled Nazis tell no tales.

IF that dude was identified, no war crime punishment is too harsh.

The housecleaning of the Ukrainian Secret Service by Zelensky a short time ago was big news, especially as it was top down and will undoubtedly set back their intelligence networks for a while. What wasn't broadcast so much was the episode which triggered Zelensky's wrath - the big fubar where a Russian pilot was going to be induced into flying his fighter to Ukraine and being highly rewarded for it. (Why Ukraine wanted a Russian fighter - other than its upgraded systems, perhaps, and the fact that they didn't have any of Russia's topline units - is worthy of speculation, unless the west put them up to it to get a peek into their most advanced aircraft)

Anyway, here's the story as reprinted on American Partisan:

The Sting: 2022 Version, by Scipio - American Partisan

The Sting: 2022 Version, by Scipio
The AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) tried to win a media propaganda coup to make up for their failure to produce an on the ground military victory. They cooked up a plan to induce any Russian military pilot to defect and bring a Russian military aircraft with them. Their compensation would be up to two million dollars, depending on the aircraft, and two passports to countries in Western Europe.

Apparently the Uknazies thought the Ruskies were like themselves; they would sell out their mother if the money was right. After several months of feelers, they got a pilot to bite. Negotiations took place with bag ladies (yes ladies) who brought a sizable cash deposit to the Russian pilot.
https://southfront.org/pdf.php?hash=168222&code=521cc031cff4122351b840f4ed918598

The Russian pilot was concerned he would be shot down. Not to worry, the Uknazis gave him classified information as to where their best air defense systems were and told to avoid that area. They also said they would clear a path through less lethal air defense areas for him to enter Ukie airspace, and also have their land based manpads and stingers to stand down in the approach area for a period of one hour.

The Russian pilot was really Russian special forces intelligence. The cash was pocketed, the “lady” bag carriers arrested, and the Russian air force used the classified info to knock out one of the Ukie’s top air defense sites. This is the best sting since the 1973 move, “The Sting” starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford where two grifters pulled off an elaborate sting of a mob boss.

There were reports that the Russians were sending tens of thousands of Ukrainians from the occupied areas to Russia.

I have yet to see any of these "reports" verified outside of Ukraine sources, Ukraine fronts, or Ukraine sympathizer organs. If confirmed by a non-Ukraine support source, where can I locate these sources as I would be interested to see the difference between what is "reported" and what is factual.

If actually confirmed, were the people being taken actually interviewed to ascertain if they had been forced to leave, were asked to leave, or they asked to leave?

If actually confirmed, what percentage were Russian, Ukraine and other ethnic groups?

Both sides are throwing around "reports", "accusations", "claims", and "proof" without any proof that can actually be seen by an objective viewer. One side predominates in these "reports" in the western media, which is not surprising as the western media and governments are doing everything in their power to censure any news from the other side to a level never seen before.

Just to be clear this was a DIRECT ATTACK ON CRIMEA by the ukies?

Well then based on what various Russian leaders have said would happen if the Crimea was attacked then we can expect a robust Russian response soon.

That is how I read the tweet that I posted; now, how that shakes out, of course remains to be seen

random speculation that it might have been suicide/switchblade drones, which we provided, and would suggest ukrainian forces behind the lines, or bayraktors, which have more range. This was based on the photos of the scene thus far available and the damage seen.
