Just tuned in to hear him describe the approach to the car lot. As account progressed to being cornered, he completely broke down and wept as he was trying to speak. Judge ordered 10 min recess. Kyle is an American hero. Was working to provide aid to others and protect property when civil government was unwilling or unable to effectively provide these services. May God deliver him from this trial.

Gaige Grosskreutz chased down Kyle Rittenhouse in Wisconsin last year and attempted to shoot him before Rittenhouse blew his bicep away. Why has Grosskreutz not been charged with attempting to kill Rittenhouse?
This past week we saw in the court case where Kyle Rittenhouse is charged with murder, that Rittenhouse was acting in self-defense. We also saw the case fall apart as one of Rittenhouse’s assailants admitted to pointing his guy at young Rittenhouse before he was shot.

NBC portrays Grosskreutz as a “paramedic who was shot by Kyle Rittenhouse at a police brutality protest in August 2020”. But it’s unknown when was the last time Grosskreutz worked as a paramedic. We also know that this was not protest. Agitators like Grosskreutz were carrying guns and setting fires to the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin last year.

What we do know is that this isn’t the first time Grosskreutz has played the victim related to this case. He went on CNN and did this last year.

But what is not being reported by NBC and the Big Media is that Grosskreutz regretted not killing Rittenhouse and admitted this to his friend only days after the event. He also had a rap sheet so we wonder if Grosskreutz had a legal right to carry a gun.

It’s time law enforcement in Kenosha stop playing politics and start enforcing the law against criminals and not individuals running for their lives from hoodlums trying to burn down the city.

Grounds for mis-trial. Prosecution can only ask question of established fact. Rittenhouse silence is not fact, only a reluctance to self-incriminate - which is guaranteed by law.

Very possibly. Mis-trial does not eliminate the charges - just a re-start with a new prosecutor - if the State chooses to do so.

Actually, his best move now would be to admit "prejudice" and ask for the mis-trial. This MIGHT keep him whole in his career direction.

Yunno - parking tickets, jaywalking, mask ordinance. He and the Attorney-General will reach an "understanding."

This very well could shape the mindset of future jurors, should Rittenhouse be retried, or even tried, as regards the unjust prosecution in the first case. Perhaps some people will come to the right conclusion that government, any current government, is NOT their friend…

However, comma - I would not be surprised if the Fed's went after him on Civil Rights violations if he walks free on this. (Or they might try to put child porn on his phone or computer.......nothing surprises me anymore.)

They know, or at least they have a clue, this is worse than anything I saw in terms of "attempt" at cases when I was at the US Attorney's Office and they lost most of the ones I'm thinking of. Most of them were against various "protestors" but back in the day those were mostly "anti-war" protestors (right before and right after the start of Gulf War One) or other kinda left causes.

There were some real cases, and the government tended to win those, but a number of them even back then struck me as long-shot "show trials" but nothing I remember was THIS blatant a case of "makeup anything, just anything and throw it at them."

Scott Adams on his twitter account is going off now on the prosecutor. Asking if any lawyers out there can confirm Kyle's right to citizen arrest in court of the prosecutor for what's going on to him during examination.
