This still ends badly for the defendant.
The judge did not ask the witness to repeat his statement.
And than call a recess with defense and da laywers in his chamber.
And than return with a dropping of this murder charge.
Which means the defendant going to prison.
Likely forever.

as for the previous questions/comments regarding "prosecutors and the power of the state" . . . I fully believe that this will be corrected in the streets together with a great many other injustices when AMERICA finally regains its senses and begins dispensing its own brand of justice.

It is not doubt, on the near event horizon.
With POS Africans now getting involved, and telling the jurors what the verdict must be,
there is no doubt, that a conviction on all charges, will be the result.
They really have no choice, if they want to prevent Kenosha Wisconsin,
from being burnt to the ground. That is the true justice system right there.
Kyle Rittenhouse, was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time,
and sadly, he is going to pay, and pay dearly for his bravery.

It's not the judge's place to help question the witness. There's no rush in the judge dropping the charge, and excellent reasons to play this slowly and deliberately. The judge is doing fine.

Yes! I'm more impressed with this judge than any I've seen in a LONG time. He is bending over backwards to make sure Kyle's rights are protected, and he's stomped on the prosecutors several times. If he *doesn’t* give a directed verdict at the end of testimony, I think his jury instructions will be interesting...

That is the only restraint holding many in check, I imagine.

I am in complete agreement. I would add that only this . . . those men, having arrived at that place realize that they've crossed a boundary which once crossed removes what ever restraint once existed . . . there is nothing left to lose. they feel free to proceed unchecked.

Story here. In its latest disaster, the attacker who was shot in the arm concedes that Rittenhouse did not shoot until after the attacker had pointed his own gun at him.
I'm hard put to figure how the prosecution's case could implode any further or faster. Rittenhouse was under attack by multiple persons, one of whom had been uttering lethal threats, he had fled from them, they cornered him, one fired a shot in the air and then aimed at him. It isn't a close question, and we are still in the prosecution's own case!
I've been practicing 46 years, and have never seen a case, civil or criminal, collapse like this. Any good attorney would have seen it coming, and dismissed or settled.

The prosecution is all bought and paid for by Soros and company. It doesn’t matter to them if all the evidence clearly shows every shot the boy took was completely within the realm of self defense. They are going to keep pushing the envelope. If anything they will run up his bills for defense lawyers where he’ll have to be paying for years.
Even then the Bolsheviks will continue to hound the kid making his life hell. He made them look like bloody idiots, two of them are dead and one is not going to using his right arm for much of anything. They will have a vendetta against him, he will not have any peace for years to come.
How come is it the Grosskreutz is not sitting in jail for being a convicted felon carrying a firearm and having a mucked up toting permit? He was intent upon blasting the kid with his Glock. Attempted murder if I’m not mistaken and he just told the world, under oath, Kyle did not fire his weapon until he, Grosskreutz, pointed the Glock at him.

I know a few guys who have been up close to the Elephant more than once, and, much like folks here who have talked about having put away or buried "The Guy" or whatever name they use to discuss themselves as Warriors, really don't want to unlock the bars on their internal gaol and let "The guy" out, to have free range. They are aware of how hard it was to sequester 'HIM" the last time they put "HIM" away, and they doubt their abilities to re-sequester "HIM".

I have been saying this since Zimmerman.
Anyone who stands up to a POS African, or a POS Communist, and successfully
avoids prison, will have to physically leave, the now royally screwed up ZUSA.
ZUSA is not a safe country anymore, it simply isn't. If a state doesn't come after them,
the POS federal government will.
Kyle if found not-guilty, will have to migrate to Eastern Europe, Romania would be
first choice, and Hungry, Poland, Ukraine. If Ukraine, can get its problems with Russia
resolved it would most likely be, the go to country in Eastern Europe,
because it borders The Black Sea.
He would need to leave ASAP, as soon as the trial is completed.

It appears the Judge is rubbing the prosecution's face in this pile of judicial crap he's created. This is getting tons of negative publicity for the progressives. It takes a lot to embarrass the left into admitting any responsibility for their actions. I do believe the judge is working on it.

The follow-up may not be as bad as we imagine. The feds may quietly end up paying a boatload of illegal crosser type hush money to make the FBI’s ‘losing’ their spy plane/drone video’s become a non-issue.
Think about this a minute. The FBI had spy planes and or drones flying over the rioting burning city. This is kind of hi-def video of a local insurrection you have to wonder about the tech spy capabilities to track cell phones to be able to identify each moving person crossed with the hi-def video. No wonder they have been able to identify and arrest all the rioters,,,, Uuuhhh. Oooppsie on that one.
Seems the FBI hasn’t gotten around to that part. Probably need to protect the role FBI assets played in the rioting.
