CRIME Main Rittenhouse trial thread - NOT GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS

On my first day after I was hired for a new job at the US Attorney's Office (but hadn't started yet) Leslie was at a Bardic Circle and play especially for me a song about working in the Civil Service with a chorus that said:

"Yo, ho, ho and we drowned him in the paper sea!"

My boss grew to absolutely hate that song, but I just couldn't stop humming it a lot of the time I worked there.

This is EXACTLY what the PROSECUTORS have been "ORDERED" to do in this case, it may not be Federal but State offices can work the same way. Anyone who thinks Departments of "Justice" is totally independent operators who take cases based on the merits of the law is either extremely ignorant or just plain deluded.

Most of the time they decide to take cases based on what is political the "in" thing to prosecute - when I was there this was evil drugs (the office motto was "Zero Tolerance" and no I didn't buy the t-shirts) and evil protestors that got in the way of the Bush One radar.

Right now it is anything that makes "Trump" or "Deploables" look bad and the Woke Agenda/Biden Administration look "good."

This case is really so full of holes that my hunch is there actually were "orders" from on-high to prosecute (it reminds me of Richard Jewel in some ways - just find someone, anyone to blame). The prosecutors know their witness really should be (and now may end up) in prison himself and they probably didn't really want to take on the case in the first place.

Their reputations are likely to be shot and they could end up sued or in jail themselves eventually. But that won't stop the Administration if they really want to keep trying to drown the guy in the paper sea, just wait until he publishes a book or gets a movie deal - then they will try to get all the kid's money.

In the recording, you can hear the guitar playing the Yo, Ho Ho part that she sang out loud when she had an audience to sing it with her:

  • I went to work for welfare in hopes to help the poor.
  • The staff showed me a desk and introduced me to the war.
  • They warned me that the battle started right outside the door,
  • And they fought it on the paper sea.

  • They were thirty social workers, forty-seven clerks,
  • Twenty-seven managers all gumming up the works,
  • Three inspectors from the legislature excersizing perks,
  • Barricudas in the paper sea.

  • There were countless regulations, rulebooks by the score,
  • Explaining every policy and system tried before.
  • The money spent on paperwork left nothing for the poor,
  • Abandoned on the paper sea.

  • There were seven hundred forms could be applied to every case
  • To account for every penny, number, name or date or place.
  • The clerks were working overtime but never keeping pace
  • With the waves upon the paper sea.

  • Why these endless papers, administers, and more,
  • All to guarantee there was no cheating by the poor,
  • While for every dollar saved we spent a hundred on the chore
  • Of adding to the paper sea.

  • Outside in the hallway, the poor folk had to wait.
  • The line stretched down the block, coming early, leaving late.
  • Maybe one poor soul per hour ever made it through the gate,
  • Past the boundaries of the paper sea.

  • First came in a man who didn't have a cent.
  • I filled out twenty forms to guarantee his check was sent.
  • By the time it reached his address he was gone for lack of rent,
  • Well serviced by the paper sea.

  • Next came in a mother, abandoned by her man.
  • She said, "Get me some daycare, and I'll find what work I can."
  • But daycare was to controvercial for our family plan.
  • We marrooned her in the paper sea.

  • As I walked in one morning, I stumbled on an arm
  • Attached to some poor body who had clearly come to harm.
  • While waiting for his Medicare, his heart had bought the farm.
  • We had drowned him in the paper sea.

  • I told my supervisor. He said, "Let's be discreet.
  • Just stick the body out the door and leave it on the street,
  • And then it's not our problem, but the cop's out on the beat.
  • Let's dump him in _their_ paper sea."

  • I tried to make the system work, I tried to help the poor.
  • I struggled through the paperwork and might have taken more,
  • But that's the final straw that sent me screaming out the door,
  • Sent me running from the paper sea.
  • I'd had it with the paper sea

Government can not and should not ever provide any kind of charity. Because it cost government at the vary least $3 tax payers dollars for every $1 dollar it redistributes.

Our F.F. understood this. They also understood that the government had to stay really small when it came to the general public affairs in both in business and support. Because once government gets big, it also starts choosing the winners and losers by corruption and politics.

As the losers say...it is what it is.

Yeah, the song is really about the problems of the government welfare system but the point of "drowning people in a sea of paper" is also true of defendants in cases like this.

The government may not be able to "win" but they can destroy a person or family financially and try to destroy the reputation even if they don't actually end up in jail.

In this case, the "smart" thing the government/prosecutors could have done was to realize their witnesses and the films they sat on would come back to bite them "bigly" and just have charged him with much lower offenses than homicide (I can think of a few).

Instead, they decided to go the entire homicide route and again I think they were probably under "orders" to do that because this case is so full of holes even I can see it and I am no legal expert, but I did serve on a jury once and boy was it an eye opener.

As is, Kyle should expect federal charges next, especially if acquitted. Lawfare doesn’t throw in the towel easily and the Communists definitely don’t want citizens taking out their mercenaries in self-defense and getting away with it. It ain’t over yet.

Rittenhouse could get the whole Stein Treatment - most people don't realize just how desperate the Darkside is getting - the VA vote rattled many a corrupt DC office >>> Rittenhouse is a walking talking MONUMENT to the Darkside's treachery & attack on America - having this kid show up at campaigns in the swing states is just a freaking nitemare - this trial publicity is bad enough for them ...

the DNC just committed the largest crime in US history with their election coup - some kid from IL is nothing but a microbe that needs squashing ...

Ooh, look at all the “armchair testosterone” dumping. YEAH BUDDY, IMA SHOOT ME SOME NI*GAS!

No you’re not. You’re all going to sit there at your keyboards and bitch. At least be intellectually honest enough to admit it, even if only to yourself. Bottom line: WE’RE TOO DAMNED OLD TO GET ACTIVELY INVOLVED. Ten years go, perhaps, but not today. Admit it and move on. Our day is over.

Yeah, I know it's your house and all, but- How dare you!

I have been trying to actively put steel in spines around here for years and you come along and attempt to turn them into yellow curd all over again. What side are you on?

You insult me and every member of this board with these comments. They are beneath you.

Who are you to look inside me and tell what I am going to do and then say it to the world? On my worst, sickest day- when the pain was unbearable, if I had needed to put down a threat to me and mine, it would have been done as fast as a Rattlesnake striking. No debate about what would come after. Age doesn't keep me from fighting.

It is not my job to save Austin and Dallas, they have others there. My circle is this ranch and my family. When the world's crazies finally get here, I will stand. And no one has the right to tell me that I will not. Not even you.

Well piss on me! I didn't know we were PMing each other, and that I was addressing you directly.

(Of course, if you're so mentally unstable that you believe I am, that's on you. I suggest you get professional help however, at your earliest convenience.)

I couldn't understand some of the lyrics, I posted them because I thought some others might not have been able too either. That's the only reason why.

Dial it back a little, Dennis. You are making yourself look bad.

My wife's first job out of college was social work in Tennessee. She said it was awful, sounds a lot like this song.

I have a thing about "radio Rambos" as they were called on the CB radio. Additionally, lately people have been getting WAY too close to the line on armed insurrection. That is absolutely forbidden on this forum. The people who need to dial it back are the Rambos. And DD, you don't have the right to tell me what. And neither does Seeker.

Prosecution Rests in Rittenhouse Murder Trial; Curfew Violation Dropped

Joel B. Pollak2-3 minutes 11/9/2021

The prosecution rested its case Tuesday in the murder trial of teenager Kyle Rittenhouse, who is accused of shooting and killing two men and wounding another during the Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last August 25.

Rittenhouse, who was then 17, has said he acted in self-defense — a point his attorneys hammered home throughout cross-examinations of the prosecution’s witnesses. Gaige Grosskreutz, the man Rittenhouse wounded, admitted that Rittenhouse only fired at him after he drew his own firearm and pointed it at Rittenhouse. Detective Ben Antaramian admitted that all of the people Rittenhouse shot at were chasing him, and that he did not shoot at other people, even if they had been armed.

Judge Bruce Schroeder advised the jury that one of the charges that Rittenhouse had faced, a claim of curfew violation, was no longer under consideration. It was not immediately clear why that minor charge, punishable by citation, was dropped.

Earlier, the Racine Journal Times noted, the judge denied a motion by the defense to drop the charge of unlawful possession of a firearms by a minor. The remaining charges will likely be presented to the jury once the defense has concluded.

The trial is being closely watched. The media, and the Democratic Party, have portrayed Rittenhouse as a mass murderer and — without evidence — as a white supremacist. No evidence of racial animus by Rittenhouse has been presented at the trial.

The curfew violation was dropped, because the prosecutors didn't present any evidence of the curfew.

Seems like that was the most likely charge to get a conviction...

Photographer says the DA asked him if he wanted to "add anything" to his statement when they summoned him to a meeting. The photographer was so uneasy with the way the meeting went, he hired a lawyer for himself the next day! The guy is nervous on the stand but not taking any crap from fatso, who is being very hostile. It's unbelievable!

ETA: And this is all in front of the jury...prosecutors look like POS.

He’ll only be sentenced if he’s found guilty.
Yep, and pretty good chance of that.

You guys are WAY too optimistic. It almost seems as if some of you still believe in the court system. They knew he was innocent when he was charged. That jury's life isn't worth squat if they acquit him.

Maybe the judge will take into account the fact that he's innocent and give him a lighter sentence.

What about the Jurys' lives if they convict?

There are enough patriots out there that have seen the video....

And video of the testimony of the prosecution.

Civil Rights violations would be the only way I could see them getting involved in this. I really don't see it.

Kyle Rittenhouse prosecution continues to collapse
POSTED BY DAVID HARDY · 8 NOVEMBER 2021 01:51 PM

Story here. In its latest disaster, the attacker who was shot in the arm concedes that Rittenhouse did not shoot until after the attacker had pointed his own gun at him.

I'm hard put to figure how the prosecution's case could implode any further or faster. Rittenhouse was under attack by multiple persons, one of whom had been uttering lethal threats, he had fled from them, they cornered him, one fired a shot in the air and then aimed at him. It isn't a close question, and we are still in the prosecution's own case!

I've been practicing 46 years, and have never seen a case, civil or criminal, collapse like this. Any good attorney would have seen it coming, and dismissed or settled.

Since you've been practicing for 46 years, perhaps you can answer a question I have.

I have not been following this case closely, but likely will read more about it after it's over. My understanding is that Kyle Rittenhouse is up on multiple charges. It looks like the most serious charges involving Grosskreutz won't stand. I have no idea as to all of the charges, so I won't go there.

Would you know if he still can be convicted on charges involving the other two?

IANAL, you need to pose your question to Dave Hardy. He seems to be a good guy, despite being a lawyer. DW met him at the Waco Hearings in 2005

Well, I can't see myself shooting anyone, as I don't have a gun. It's a long story that I'm not going to get into, but I don't know if I can legally possess a firearm. Once in my life, I was involved with the legal system. There may have been a trial, but my request for all court papers in the matter were denied. I may have been convicted of a felony, but my request, again, for all papers in the matter were denied. I visited the courthouse many years later seeking info on something completely unrelated. The court officers said that they have no information in their records, on me, of any kind. A few people have told me that the "trial" was faked. To this day, I still don't know if I'm a convicted felon.

they enacted allll kinds of associated FED charges during & after the BLM trouble out West - crossing state borders for terrorist activities is a possibility - Civil Rights violations will get him into one of their prisons >>> arresting Rittenhouse and wanting more bad publicity with an actual trial are two different things ....

I’m a purist. Orville’s in an air popper, butter and sea salt.

For a real purist it would be Jiffy Pop, oil (without looking at the label for what kind), an old frying pan & lid, and salt (without looking at the label for what kind). A real purist is too lazy to melt butter, let alone take a few extra steps to the fridge to get it, and then more steps to a drawer for a butter knife. I will spare other real purists the traumatic steps and equipment involved in order to melt it. Sea salt is not in his/her vocabulary, nor pantry. Orville is half of the flying brothers. And, an air popper is simply WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.

Answering, for a friend asking. :)
