Sadly. Liberals just suck it up and stick together. trump talking third party now. See ross Perot vs bush. He cost bush election. Which I guess in end did not matter much. The rino free immigration war party is what they really are now…not really conservatives in first place I guess.

Yes, I understand why Trump is frustrated, but I don't think he should go the 3rd party route.

Vaguely interesting mess they have gotten themselves into...if McCarthy can't wrangle the troops any better, he deserves to get booted. Have heard Scalise mentioned as a compromise candidate. The beef has been touted as political/philosophical, but have to wonder if some isn't "personal".

Have seen these scenarios play out in party nominations. Can run on for days and many ballots, or sometimes there's a sudden sea-change seemingly from nowhere. :shr:

votes official by the clerk of the house 434 cast. 212 for the democrat asshole. 203 for mccarthy, 10 for biggs. 6 for jordan, 1 for banks of indiana. lee zeldon of ny 1 and downs of florida 1. a new roll call being called.

jordan is renominating mccarthy. jordan making a speech. says there are three things congress needs to do. need to pass legislation to fix things. can never let a bill like the one point 7 trillion dollar bill pass again. and finally, oversight and investigations that need to be done.

I never Know whose side politicians are on any more - other than not mine. I am anti abortion. But it did probably cost republicans the senate. Even tho Supreme Court ruled. Not congress. This topic seems to rally libs big time. But who knows. As we are mostly being lied to on a regular basis

Just shows how screwed up the Republican Party ( uni-party) is.
Jeffries 185 McCarthy 178
Someone - well a bunch od 'someones'- is sending a message. Not entirely sure what the message is yet but hopefully, there'll be a translation into plain old vernacular, sans baffle gab & political double talk.

I'm off to day so I can wait.

There have to be Dem votes in there. I don't think the GOP has 363 seats total. I would think Jeffries is getting all Dem votes.

Sorry, but Trump has made a few bad choices when picking his cabinet in the past, this is another bad choice to support McCarthy. McCarthy is more leftist than you realize. They must have another person they would all endorse; or are they all too corrupt?
I agree: Trump seems to have terrible judgment on some of his choices, a clear illustration of "what was he thinking?"

I don't see how McCarthy reverses the votes that are keeping him from the threshold. Unless he gets Dem support.

I don't really mind extra time and effort to get this ironed out. About time we moved away from rubber stamping someone just because it's perceived as their turn.
