PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – A man is recovering after being attacked by a suspect with a machete in southeast Portland on Monday, according to police.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 3600 block of Southeast 65th Avenue just before 2:00 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man with severe cuts to his leg.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

Police said the man had been attacked by a neighbor with a machete who had left the scene before officers could arrive. Officers were able to quickly find the suspect and safely take him into custody.

The suspect, identified as Clayton M. Briggs, 24, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on assault in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident.

not really, these are energetic little boogers if nothing else. at least physical wise, mental, they are bat poop crazy. they are putting up homeless tents all over the place now as the social order collapses. the riot on sunday where they trashed the statues has even the liberals seriously pissed off. everything is on hold till 11-3 and the vote. After that Trump will send in the tanks, or antifa will cut psycho loose, or everybody will just start shooting each other.

Oh, the homeless trash tents I'm talking about Mzkitty are the ones on the sidewalks. Morrison street, from the waterfront to 10th now has six tents just erected in the sidewalk, blocking it, and making you run a gauntlet of homeless scum, meth heads, assorted drug addicts, boozers, mentally unstable scum infesting everywhere now that they have figured out the DEVIANTS OWN PORTLAND EVERY SQUARE INCH. Our resident Medusa that ignorant bitch Hardesty is hiring the first of the homeless response squads today. LOL the reason they need police to respond is the homeless SCUM are feeling entitled, feel they own the city and are mean, violent bastards who are going to start sending Medusa's homeless response squads to the morgue or the emergency room, which is why you need cops with big guns who can shoot the meth heads.

Yep, I plan to write in Whitcomb for Mayor, but we will end up with the Marxist bitch and her Mao skirt. Like I said, there is no money at all to do anything given the total collapse of the Oregon economy, especially the cash cows in the Portland hospitality industry. They have lost tens of millions from all the hotel taxes, and restaurant taxes, etc etc they didn't get for the last ten months or so. It will give me great amusement to see Medusa and her liberal friends realize they have no money to implement any of there Marxist plans.
