Yes, Sara is on track to beat Worthless Wheeler by a large margin. Under Oregon elections, Wheeler faced a challenger since he didn't get 51 percent of the vote, and that challenger is our Marxist, Mao printed on my skirt fruitcake. KOIN or KGW is going to have a debate with them on Thursday and the blurbs aren't promising. Wheeler is a moron, and Sara is a freaking Marxist who will create a marxist state in Portland. And NEITHER of them understands the massive level of physical damage downtown has sustained the last 4 months. Sara in particular is blabbing about bringing back downtown like she did in the 1980's. Neither of then seem to understand NOBODY is coming back downtown for YEARS.

In less than 40 days Portland may be the first official, verified, certified Marxist zone with the vast majority of elected officials actual, no bs MARXIST TRAITORS in the process of implementing a Marxist dictatorship in my face. The level of crime and criminal behavior is off the charts in Portland since the mass riots started. We had 3 people shot dead, and four stabbed over last weekend. Our rate of murders, rapes, property crime are all UP significantly year to year this summer. The rule of law is collapsing, the streets are full of violent crazy people, even during the day. PPD is no where to be seen and the political class is despised. Anybody who can has left downtown. The local media lies to my face, and the chaos is everywhere. It looks like a war zone with EVERYTHING boarded up.
and yeah, the Marxist bitch will be our new mayor, and may be able to quiet antifa down, since she is their bitch. But who knows. Governor Brown has DESTROYED the Oregon economy, from which there will be NO RECOVERY.

Police on Saturday night in Portland, Oregon, made a mass arrest of protesters, who they believed were planning a “direct action” event that threatened a policing center in the northern part of the city.
The police issued a press released about what took place on the 123rd day of almost nightly violence and destruction:
Videos posted on social media show protesters who look as uniformed and weaponized as the police, making it difficult to distinguish people in the crowd.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A riot was declared downtown Sunday night after demonstrators reportedly smashed the windows out of several buildings, according to Portland police. The protest turned riot unfolded on the eve of Columbus Day, however, in the City of Portland Monday is also known as Indigenous Peoples Day after a declaration was passed in 2015.
People knocked over a statue of President Abraham Lincoln in downtown Portland on Oct. 11, 2020. Someone spray painted the words “Stolen Land” on the base (KOIN).
Multiple statues were spray-painted and toppled in the park blocks. The windows and glass doors to the Oregon Historical Society were smashed out.
Portland police declared a riot around 9:30 p.m. and officers moved in to disperse the crowd.
The first warning from authorities came an hour earlier, around 8:30 p.m. when police tweeted that a “mass gathering” had formed in the park blocks near SW Park Avenue and SW Madison Street. “Some are trying to pull down a statue with a chain,” said police via Twitter. Authorities went on to issue a public warning that anyone involved in criminal behavior would be subject to arrest.
It is unclear how many arrests were made in the wake of the riot declaration.

Okay that area is right next to Shemanski square where I sit and read. The Lincoln and Rooseveldt statues are close to where the church got burnt. This was in response to the mass arrest in north portland on Saturday night. Antifa threw a temper tantrum and destroyed $50,000 worth of statues.

PORTLAND, Ore — Police declared a riot in downtown Portland on Sunday night after a large group of demonstrators marched through the South Park Blocks, toppling statues of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt and breaking windows.
Protesters met under the Burnside Bridge and marched to the South Park Blocks for what they called an “Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage.” A social media post called for an end of colonialism and the abolishment of police.
Around 8:40 p.m., Police tweeted that a "mass gathering" had formed at Southwest Park Avenue and Southwest Madison Street where they were trying to pull down a statue with a chain. Police said anyone involved in "criminal behavior, including vandalism" was subject to arrest.
The statue in that area is of Theodore Roosevelt on horseback. According to the city of Portland's website, "the statue entitled Theodore Roosevelt - Rough Rider portrays the colonel in the actual uniform and accoutrements he wore in his famous ascent of San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War."
OPB reporter Sergio Olmos tweeted that the statue was taken down.
The group also toppled a statue of Abraham Lincoln nearby, according to Olmos.
After downing the statues in the park blocks, members in the crowd began smashing windows at the Oregon Historical Society, The Oregonian reported.

Protests have been happening consistently in Portland since the killing of George Floyd on Memorial Day. Demonstrators have taken to Portland’s streets for issues that include police brutality, racial inequity, the murder of people of color by police, the abolishment of police and prisons and the defunding of police.
On Saturday night, protesters marched to Portland police’s North Precinct where 26 arrests were made. Independent journalists at the scene said the crowd of marchers was arrested with little to no warning.
