PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland Police arrested a man early Saturday after they said he slashed two people with a knife in Downtown Portland.

Central Precinct officers were called to the area of SW 13th Avenue and SW Columbia Street around 2:00 a.m. on reports someone trying to stab people passing by. Upon their arrival, officers found two victims with serious cuts; one person had a cut on the arm, the other person’s cut was on the ear.

Witnesses say they saw a confrontation between the man with a knife and the victim at the corner of SW 13th and Columbia. At one point, the victim ran behind some shrubs in an effort to put a small tree in between themselves and the suspect. Witnesses said the victim was bleeding at that point.

Witnesses believe that the person with the arm injury was the initial victim, and the other person cut on the ear had tried to stop the suspect by grabbing or tackling him. The victim with the arm injury was taken to a hospital for treatment. Both injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

One neighbor also said they believed others tried to step in to stop the attack and were nicked in the process, but didn’t stick around to talk to police officers.

Officers arrested the suspect without further incident. The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Hillsboro resident Travis Sadler, according to police. He faces charges of assault and the unlawful use of a weapon.

Most of America has kind of just moved on from Portland. Even the demo’s who embraced the protests soon saw poling showing maybe the average American in fly-over battleground states weren’t embracing the ‘mostly peaceful freedom fighters.’

My feelings are mixed, not happy some cities are self destructing from their own politics but they voted in the morons who support the destruction. Portland will lose in the end as is Seattle and big Cali cities as people and business flee. Elections have consequences.

The people of Portland are too ignorant fo a republic.
All the violence the last few days, like the 3 murdered at 111th and Sandy, and the 2 people stabbed at 13th and Columia, are not related to blm/ antifa at all. Portland is in collapse with trully MASSIVE spikes in cime city wide.
I am ARMED 24/7. I do not go walking at 0400. I avoid the antifa kill zones. I monitor twitter. I walk in the spirit. Finally I understand the weather in Portland. It is going to start raining on Friday. It will rain until March. The high temps will be 45 F and the low temps will be 35 to 40 F for the next 6 months. Blm and antifa are done marching at night. The weather in Portland from Halloween to Easter is DISMAL.

Well, truthfully, you are bout the only thing I care about at all up that way-
(and any other posters in the area of portland of whom I'm unaware of course)

Not that I'm tired of it, just that it's all theater, and I don't give my time and attention to tantrum throwing toddlers,
coz that just subsidizes the tantrums :: shrug ::

Antifa did another beat down on some black lady trying to rip the American flag from her hands. Why these conservatives go down there and engage antifa is beyond my understanding. They know what will happen and they are totally unprepared for the antifa violence time after time.
Choose your time wisely and engage with maximum impact. Wait for it and then execute with discipline and focus.

Eventually one of these clowns is going to pull a stunt like this on the wrong person. Imminent threat of death or grievous bodily harm meant she could have shot him dead.
