Are you sure about that?
Yup, the more we learn re: how easy/accessible the project is, the dirtier UKRAINE looks. Still, would any o' em act alone? Certainly no signs, at present, of them falling out- tho prior Germany was always a bit too malleable for the likes of the rest o' em :hmm:
What leads you to that conclusion? You may be right, I'd just like to understand.

And why are you writing like a leprechaun?

Democrats need a nuclear war to Reset America and hold power

Post-nuclear-war conditions will not likely go the way they think. After a couple of weeks, and in some places much sooner, there will be many survivors that will emerge. And they will be crying bloody tears of rage.

If not already stated, the call out of Russia was to prevent dual citizens from being conscripted.

There was an article over at zerohedge, and I would think getting out a country dual citizen or not, that is at war, would be a good idea in the first place, and wouldn't need the state dept. to tell them so.

If there is more to this, I haven't heard it.

there are other countries with an interest in keeping this war going. China for one. And anyone buying cheap Russian oil or gas.
I just can’t see the USA doing it. I cant see someone following that order. I can’t see how it would stay a secret. Someone would tell.
Anyone that knows/knew anything will either commit suicide or die unexpectedly. Seal team 6, anyone?

I think the opposite. They will be crying for food, medicine, and shelter. And will do whatever the surviving govt asks to get it.

They will not be able to service enough of them to satisfy the horde, and they won't be able to kill enough to keep from being overrun. IMHO.

The designated staff and enforcers will not be as numerous as planned, merely due to being part of the conflagration themselves. IMHO.

It will be messy, without a doubt, but I really don't think TPTB will exert the level of control they think will.

Germany's far-right AfD hopes for a boost in times of crisis

As far-right parties score election victories across the EU, the nationalist Alternative for Germany party is looking to translate economic anxiety into similar gains. The polls suggest that the strategy is working.

Supporters take part in an "Our Country First!" demonstration in the eastern state of Thuringia, where the AfD is the most popular party

Earlier this month, during a Bundestag debate on the potentially devastating situation for businesses and families amid soaring inflation and an energy crunch, AfD lawmaker Harald Weyel was caught on a hot mic saying he hoped that the situation would continue to deteriorate.

This harks back to 2015, when the far-right populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) utilized fears of a massive refugee influx to stage protests, especially in the east of the country. It went on to become the most successful far-right party in the country since World War II.

Since then, however, the AfD has struggled to find a rallying cry that connected with as many voters. They took to the streets in protest against COVID-19 restrictions but failed to stop a decline in support, especially in the West of the country.

The AfD was founded in 2013 as a euroskeptic party. And still, their position is that Germany should leave the EU, even as other nationalist parties, like the Sweden Democrats and the Brothers of Italy, have quietly abandoned such stances.

"Now, they are focusing on the government's sanctions against Russia,"
Wolfgang Schroeder, a political science professor at the University of Kassel, told DW. "They are saying that corrupt lawmakers are ignoring the needs of the people. They're arguing that elites in Moscow aren't the victims of these sanctions policies, but the German people are."

The message that the AfD is trying to send to the governing coalition of the center-left Social Democrats (SPD), the Green Party and the neoliberal Free Democrats (FDP) is clear: "You are not in charge of Russia — you're in charge of this country."

Indeed, AfD co-chair Tino Chrupalla has repeatedly accused Chancellor Olaf Scholz's government of fighting an "economic war" against Germans as inflation has risen to over 8%. The sanctions "are not in Germany's interest," Chrupalla has insisted, predicting that "throughout the fall, support for the government's policies will continue to sink."

Chrupalla's projections are echoed in opinion polls. According to figures published by research firm INSA, national support for Scholz's party has fallen from 25.7% in last year's federal election to 18% on Monday, the FDP has been reduced by half to 7% and even the Green Party is now experiencing a backlash against their plans to mitigate the gas shortage.

The AfD, in the same time frame, has risen in the national polls from 10% to 15%, one of its highest levels ever.

As households across Germany are shocked to receive their heating bills, the right-wing populists see golden opportunities ahead. The situation calls to mind another hot mic moment. In 2020, former spokesman Christian Lüth was caught by a documentary team saying "the worse things are for Germany, the better things are for the AfD."

Scholz's communication problem

Schroeder said the biggest mistake Scholz's coalition had made was its lack of coherent communication.

"They have not offered clear answers about what people are actually gaining from domestic relief packages," Schroeder said, nor exactly how sanctions affect Russian President Vladimir Putin and his war machine. "The government has left communication gaps for right-wing populists like the AfD to jump into."

Schroeder feels that the SPD, Green Party and FDP should put some of the principles aside that were enshrined in the 2021 coalition agreement.

Last year's plans have "become outdated since February 24, 2022," the day Russia invaded Ukraine, the political analyst said. "The invasion has changed everything: It is now what is steering our policy" — and the parties need to recognize that priorities have shifted significantly.

Deep divisions likely to stymie success

Schroeder does not expect the AfD's popularity to soar. He does not see the current situation panning out like the xenophobic sentiment in 2015, "when opposing a refugee influx was something that spoke to people across the entire country."

"The AfD is deeply divided between those who are pro-Russia and those who aren't," Schroeder said, "and this is creating a rift between their supporters in the west of Germany and the east, where they are more friendly to Moscow."

The party has indeed been hemorrhaging membership since 2020.

For now, however, AfD leaders have seized the opportunity offered by Germany's edging closer to a recession to foment discontent by encouraging protests throughout the fall.

Under the slogan "a hot autumn against cold feet," the AfD has announced plans to hold weekly anti-government marches in the coming months, alluding to mass protests that helped bring down the communist regime in East Germany at the end of the Cold War. Across eastern Germany, tens of thousands have taken to the streets to protest government policy.

The AfD leader announced a concerted protest movement against the government's energy and Russia policies. From October, the AfD wants to take to the streets with the rallying cry "Our country first!" Chrupalla declined to confirm that this was modeled on Donald Trump's "America first" campaign.

"Demonstrations are already taking place in many places. In this respect, Monday is a good time to stretch your legs after the weekend," he said.

Post-nuclear-war conditions will not likely go the way they think.
Post war conditions, whatever they turn out to be, will be the Great Reset. It will be a level of madness even Hitler or Stalin could not imagine in their greatest of fantasies. It will be a level of suffering for all, and I mean even the elites, that recorded history has never before seen. And those madmen pushing for it have no idea what's in store for any of us, for they are all libs, those that never consider unintended consequences.

Nuclear alert: Relocation of six Tu-160s and MiG-31s with Kinzhal – Moira of 8 Russian and Chinese ships in the US EEZ in Alaska

Scene of global conflict

28/09/2022 - 20:14
War News 24 / 7

Solomon Islands: We are threatened with invasion – Tensions escalate in the Pacific after the agreement with China

In moves reminiscent of the gradual activation of the nuclear arsenal, Russia proceeded as it relocated three Tu-160 strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons near the border with Finland and three MiG-31 with a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal to Kaliningrad.

Both of these weapons can carry nuclear warheads, and the question is whether Moscow is gradually preparing to put in place a nuclear plan.

NATO is also concerned about this. Today aircraft were flying from the USA to Sweden scanning Kaliningrad. In the area, aircraft of the USAF RC-135W Rivet Joint and SwAF Korpen were spotted observing Kaliningrad from the south..
Equally worrying is the fact that a squadron of eight warships from Russia and China was spotted operating off Alaska in the US EEZ. This is an unprecedented challenge that reminds Washington that "the two countries will fight together."

Russia-China fleet within the US EEZ off Alaska

The U.S. military revealed that earlier this month, while a U.S. Coast Guard ship had embarked on a routine patrol in the Bering Sea, its crew was surprised to meet a Moira of ships from Russia and China.
More specifically, on September 19, a squadron of 5 Russian ships consisting of 1 frigate, 3 corvettes, 1 supply ship along with 3 Chinese ships, 1 destroyer, 1 corvette and 1 refueling ship appeared in the US EEZ north of the island of Kiska in Alaska.

The U.S. Coast Guard ship USCGC Kimball (WMSL-756) spotted the three Chinese and five Russian ships in the Bering Sea, 75 nautical miles north of Kiska Island in Alaska, on September 19, within the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone.
Initially, the crew of the U.S. Coast Guard ship USCGC Kimball (WMSL-756) in a routine patrol in the Bering Sea came across the Guided Missile Cruiser of the People's Republic of China, the Renhai CG 101, sailing about 75 nautical miles north of Kiska Island in Alaska.

Kimball's crew later spotted two more Chinese ships and four Russian ships, including a Destroyer of the Russian Federation, all in a single surface combat formation operating in the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
The Honolulu-based Kimball, a 418-foot (127-meter) vessel, later noticed that the ships broke the formation and dispersed. A C-130 Hercules provided air support to Kimball from the coast guard station in Kodiak.
"While the formation had operated according to international norms, we must ensure that there are no disruptions to U.S. interests in the marine environment around Alaska," said Vice Admiral Nathan Moore, commander of the 17th Coast Guard.

Kimball will continue to monitor the area.

The Chinese and Russian formation came a month after NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned of China's interest in the Arctic and Russia's military buildup there.

Stoltenberg said Russia has created a new Arctic Command and has opened hundreds of new and former military locations in the Soviet-era Arctic, including ports and deep-sea airfields.

"Beijing and Moscow are also committed to intensifying practical cooperation in the Arctic. This is part of a deepening strategic partnership that challenges our values and interests," Stoltenberg said on a visit to Canada's north.

Relocation of three Tu-160 strategic bombers near Finland

At the same time, Russia made a strange move by relocating three Tu-160 strategic bombers to the air base in Olenegorsk.

Olenegorsk is a city in the Murmansk Oblast of Russia, very close to the border with Finland.

The satellites detected the migration of the Tu-160 strategic bombers. Below you can see the picture.
"The reasons for the deployment of Tu-160 strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons at the air base remain unknown, however, the bombers were transferred here after NATO's threats against Russia.

Due to the absence of official statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense, so far the purpose of transporting Tu-160 strategic bombers to the air base in Olenegorsk remains unknown,"
Russian media noted.

At the same time, there is also mobilization in the Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
According to the Russian MoD, the air regiment of the long-range air force in the Amur region which has the Tu-95MS strategic bombers is performing exercises.

Signal of readiness from Moscow: The conscripts began to train in Kaliningrad

Earlier today, Moscow issued a signal of readiness for the soldiers in Kaliningrad.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that conscripted reservists in the Kaliningrad region have begun training for battle at the base of the Russian Baltic Fleet.

"All the mobilized military personnel are trained in the fire with small weapons. Additional civilians summoned from the reserve are restoring their skills in handling and maintaining weapons, military and special equipment," the ministry said on its Telegram channel.

Training is also being carried out to improve shooting skills and military personnel are being prepared for "bold actions on the battlefield".

Russia maintains a significant military presence in Kaliningrad, a Russian enclave on the Baltic coast between Poland and Lithuania, member countries of NATO and the European Union.

The Russian force there includes missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads, the Russian Baltic Fleet and tens of thousands of soldiers.

In fact, the satellites reaffirmed the relocation of three MiG-31s bearing the supersonic missile of 10 Mach and a range of 2,000 km. Kh-47M2 Kinzhal at Chkalovsk Airport in Kaliningrad.

Nah, the AfD _is_ far right and controlled by Moscow. Germany already has the Christian Democrats (Christian conservative), the National Democrats (nationalist, verging on neo nazi), the Free Democrats (economically libertarian) to cover conservative positions. The AfD started out as "anti Euro" party, but quickly became as nutty as QA, sovereign citizens, flat earth, Russia affine, all in one. They're screwballs.

Oil Rigs In Norway's North Sea Buzzed By Mysterious Drones

BY TYLER DURDEN
ZERO HEDGE
WEDNESDAY, SEP 28, 2022 - 02:45 PM

Update (1445ET):

Norway has displaced Russia as Europe's top natural gas supplier as energy supply chains are rejiggered. According to Daily Mail, being the biggest supplier to the energy-stricken continent comes with risks, as the Scandinavian country's oil and gas rigs in the North Sea have been buzzed by mysterious drones.

The country's Petroleum Safety Authority warned these mysterious drones could unleash "deliberate attacks" on critical energy infrastructure and or even smash into a helicopter on an offshore oil rig to wreak havoc.

Energy minister Terje Aasland explained the government is "increasing security at infrastructure sites, land terminals and platforms on the Norwegian continental shelf."

Drones have buzzed at least six of Norwegian energy giant Equinor's offshore platforms, coming within the security perimeter of 500 meters. One drone flew within 50 meters of the Heidrun platform in the Norwegian Sea. The company notified authorities of drone sightings.

"The Scandinavian country has a vast network of pipelines linking it to the continent, which experts have said are at risk of sabotage," Daily Mail said.

This report comes as US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm alerted EU countries to increase security around energy assets, including LNG carriers en route to Europe.

* * *

Due to large underwater "explosions" that damaged the Nord Stream pipeline system, European energy infrastructure faces increased security risks.

US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm was quoted by Bloomberg as saying following the "apparent sabotage" of NS1 and NS2 pipelines, EU nations must increase security around energy assets, that includes LNG carriers en route to Europe.

Granholm said European allies need to launch an "expedited investigation" into identifying the culprits behind the pipeline attacks. She added President Vladimir Putin's recent move to weaponize natural gas highlights the urgency all EU members have to "evaluate the risks of relying on another entity for their energy."

The Baltic Sea region remains "tense" between Russia and NATO, Danish Defense Minister Morten Bodskov said. He expects Russian military forces in the Baltic region to continue their "saber-rattling."

2022-09-27_08-32-24.png

Germany deployed warships to assist in the pipeline investigation, said the defense ministry, adding NS1 and NS2 leaks are an "alleged act of sabotage," which emphasizes the vulnerability of critical energy infrastructure:

"The circumstances of this disturbing event must now be quickly clarified and those responsible identified," Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said.
"I have already exchanged views on this with my Danish counterpart," she added. "We have agreed to share information and our navy will contribute its expertise to the investigation."
Meanwhile, Norwegian energy giant Equinor raised the level of preparedness for all its energy-related assets, including supply locations, installations, helicopter bases, land facilities, and vessels, across Norway, local broadcaster NRK reported.

Security risks around LNG carriers are something we outlined before the pipeline attacks -- since EU states have had to source LNG via tankers due to dwindling Russian supplies via pipelines this summer, leaving many of these tankers sitting ducks in the open water.

There are a lot of LNG vessels floating around Europe.

Snag_3b84261.png

And you never know what could be next...

Did the CIA also warn Germany about future tanker attacks?
