Businesses throughout major cities in America, particularly in California and Washington D.C., are bracing for what is expected to be a chaotic Election Day full of protests.

Bill Melugin, a journalist for Fox 11 Los Angeles, shared photos to Twitter on Thursday that showed concerned business owners boarding up their windows to avoid damage from protesters and looters on Election Day.

“Driving through downtown LA…so many businesses boarded up & in the process of boarding up,” Melugin wrote.

Beverly Hills Police Chief Dominick Rivetti announced earlier this week that the famed Rodeo Drive will close on Election Day in an effort to combat expected violence and destruction.

Rivetti also stated that the Beverly Hills Police Department would be on “full alert” from Halloween and throughout the election day cycle.
Other photos shared on Twitter throughout the last week have shown business owners in Washington, D.C. preparing for civil unrest on Election Day as they board up their storefront windows.

Chicago officials have also been preparing for political threats and violence on Election Day by holding “all-hazards” drills. Democrat Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said on a conference call:
Given what we experienced over the course of the spring and the summer, we can’t presume that what’s going to happen … is going to be peaceful. We are preparing for the worst. So what we’ve been doing is a lot of drilling, a lot of making sure that we break down barriers, that no one part of election security is operating in a silo.
A confidential document obtained by Breitbart News revealed Thursday that a coalition of left-wing groups in Minnesota who fear a Trump victory are preparing for post-election mass unrest while planning to execute wide-scale “strategic disruption.”

Several violent protests have broken out across America in recent days, including major demonstrations in Philadelphia and New York. Those demonstrations led to the looting of a Walmart located in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia.

The destruction caused by Black Lives Matter protesters in Philadelphia also led to the looting of a Black entrepreneur’s boutique.

“We as Black people really need to reunite and come together,” said Jameelah Scurry, owner of La’vanter Boutique in North Philadelphia. “Destroying and tearing down our own people is not the answer.”

Exclusive–Leaked Document: Leftists Fear Trump May Win Minnesota, Plot Post-Election ‘Mass Mobilization’

A leaked confidential document obtained by Breitbart News reveals that a coalition of left-wing groups in Minnesota, fearing a possible Trump win, is preparing for post-election mass unrest while planning to execute wide scale “strategic disruption.”

Led by TakeAction Minnesota, described as a “hub for Minnesota’s progressive movement,” the groups warn of a need for mass mobilization in a recently leaked highly confidential document circulating among the group’s leadership and intended as a prep guide for the coming weeks.

Draft 1 — MN Democracy Defense Plan (1) by Breitbart News on Scribd

“We believe that regardless of the strength of the Minnesota election system, mass mobilization will and must happen in Minnesota to defend democracy,” the leaked document reads.

“We expect that this mobilization will create space and opportunity for unrest, primarily in Minneapolis. In this context, the situation could rapidly spiral beyond control depending on the nature of the unrest and the State’s reaction.”

In an effort to shift responsibility for violence to others, the groups point to the right, as well as the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD), for the possibility of inciting or enabling violence, for which they must be prepared.

“The possibility of right-wing violence is real, as is the possibility of MPD inciting or enabling violence,” the document warns, adding that the MPD is “either disengaged or instigating tension” during and since the “uprising” immediately following the murder of George Floyd.

“It is unclear who the MPD is accountable and answering to,” the groups state.
TakeAction Minnesota was at the forefront of the protest movement sparked by the killing of George Floyd, demanding the MPD be dismantled and helping spark the nationwide demands to “defund the police.” Following pressure from the group, a veto-proof majority of the City Council pledged to dismantle the Police Department, while promising to create a new system of public safety in the city that is underway.

The groups anticipate outcomes ranging from inconclusive results, to a refusal of Trump to accept results (if defeated), to himself suspected of election interference (if he wins).

In the event of President Trump’s re-election, the document calls for “strategic disruption” through mobilizing masses to take to the streets.

TakeAction Minnesota, a nonprofit founded in 2006, is a coalition of 20 different organizations, including labor unions and advocacy groups for left-wing causes, and claims hundreds of thousands of members ready to be activated. It describes itself as a “multi-racial people’s organization building power for a government and economy that works for all of us.”

The coalition is officially affiliated with far-left national organizations People’s Action and CPD Action, both funded by the George Soros-backed Democracy Alliance aimed at “resisting” President Trump.

Noting that Minnesota elections are administered mainly at the county level and as such “much of the process will be in the hands of local county officials,” the document goes on to warn that “such officials may be unfriendly or open to coercion by right-wing violence.”

The document then notes a supposed rise in “white nationalist organization and activity” which has brought “multiple nights of infiltrator terror that targeted Black and brown business corridors and nearby neighborhoods” during “the most recent uprisings.”

“It is possible Black churches may also become a target. St. Cloud and Duluth are also two cities to keep in mind given their proximity to large white nationalist geographies and demographic and ideological make-up,” the document warns. “Additionally, we know of white nationalist infiltration and organization at Greater Minnesota universities.”

The document also calls to support preparation in communities “most at-risk of white nationalist attack.”

“We expect any mass protest – no matter how positive – to create cover for further not pointed, unstrategic, infiltrated civil unrest and property damage in Minneapolis,” the document continues.

The groups point to their “transformative” experience organizing during the George Floyd riots — the second most destructive in U.S. history — as a model for future rapid organization.

“Minneapolis and St. Paul had a powerful experience of community care and safety during the uprising,” it reads. “Folks rapidly organized neighborhood patrols, mutual aid networks and emergency response teams to keep the community safe.”

In a section titled “Theory of What Will Happen,” the document “predicts” election contesting in Minnesota and/or other states and describes the groups’ role to “support efforts by the State (led by the Governor, Attorney General and Secretary of State) to resolve the contest rapidly and to prevent right-wing vigilantes, with or without the support of local officials, from interfering with the certification of Minnesota’s electors by the ‘safe harbor’ date [December 8, the last day for states to resolve contested election results]” and “to prevent illegitimate Federal efforts to intervene on behalf of local right-wing groups.”
In the event of contested results in other states, the groups declare their readiness to respond.

“Knowing that there may be energy to join nearby mass mobilizations, we may choose to host actions here to diminish the amount of out-of-state actors activating in that contest,” the document states. “For contests farther away, we will work to maintain public demand as asked to support their work and coordinated via national infrastructure.”

The document also describes a “worst case scenario” that includes violent activity spread by a poor state response and/or white nationalist instigation.

The groups describe their role from Election Day to Inauguration Day as entailing: collecting and sharing information; prepare their organizations and members with “tools, skills and messaging needed to organize and mobilize quickly, safely and effectively;” connecting and supporting collective resourcing efforts at a larger scale; and coordinating with national efforts in case of regions “that might be more directly contested than ours.”

Other tasks include advancing a public narrative that counteracts “what will definitely be an attack on protestors and violent backlash that will be increased by that” and coordinating with allied elected officials and former candidates to “broker in back-end negotiations with the DFL [Minnesota’s Democratic Party] and elected officials, with the express purpose of bringing a progressive frame” that lifts up “people power.”

According to the document, the groups’ planned activities correspond to three distinct phases: from now until Election Day, whereby they respond to “pre-election voter suppression and de-legitimacy work by Trump and the GOP” while preparing for the next phase; the ten days following Election Day, whereby they immediately respond to the election through mass mobilization efforts due to the anticipation that “Trump and the GOP will use institutional capacity to control election information and manipulate the results;” and the final “speculative” phase which follows, to be revisited in the future.

A list of principles to best guide the groups’ “work” during this “all hands, full hands” moment, include: the need to move fast, which “for some” means “faster than the pace of trust;” to “be about it, don’t talk about;” and to recognize that certain styles and forms of leadership are needed “not because it is right, but because it is necessary to win.”

The system being built by the groups is quite a serious one, involving both detail and complexity.

It entails the establishment of a nerve center capable of coordinating mass mobilization, “on and offline,” intended to advance the groups’ agenda as well as setting up networks to communicate with elected officials and provide local intelligence.

In addition, the groups are developing training and resources — intended to be shared widely — to prepare masses of people, and already offer online training in preparation for election week.

Other moves include the establishment of a clearinghouse communication infrastructure to be used to provide massive mutual aid; the formation of popular messages to draw in supporters; preparing media to cover actions powerfully and effectively; and the establishment of healthy lines of communication between the field and governing actors.

The groups also aim to create a massive “tent” of supporters.

“We need a bigger tent than even the biggest we have built before,” the document proclaims as it elaborates on the goal to obtain their demands and create the world they seek through “joyful rebellion.”

The document also refers to “additional resources and references” which include radical resources such as: “Contested Election Threat Matrix,” “Paramilitaries at Your Protest: An Activist Field Guide to the Armed Far-Right,” and “Transition Integrity Project Report: Preventing a Disrupted Presidential Election and Transition.”

For the first time since 1972, Democrats are in serious danger of losing Minnesota — now one of the likeliest states to be the Electoral College tipping point, as reported by FiveThirtyEight.

In 2016, President Trump lost Minnesota by fewer than 45,000 votes. Currently, former Vice President Joe Biden holds only a slim lead over Trump in Minnesota, according to a Trafalgar Group survey released Wednesday.

As a result of the tightening of the race, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Thursday added a last-minute stop to the North Star State on Friday where President Donald Trump will be holding a pre-scheduled rally — Trump’s fourth campaign visit to Minnesota this year.

It’s the most attention Minnesota has received from both presidential candidates in years.

With less than a week until Election day, Minnesota has emerged as a potential battleground state in next Tuesday’s election that could determine who wins the presidency.

With the left preparing for mayhem, post election chaos and the implementation of the radical directives in the leaked document seem inevitable.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents were ordered to be ready for possible civil unrest and to prepare to protect federal property in Washington, DC, on Election Day, according to a Friday report.

NBC News reports:
The agency is regularly tasked with providing additional security around the nation’s capital on inauguration days, but has never stepped in to quell unrest on Election Day. The unprecedented step is in response to nationwide protests and attacks on federal property seen this year, the officials said.
ICE, CBP, and the Federal Protective Service are part of the “Protecting American Communities Task Force,” established in June through an executive order by President Trump in response to “anarchists and left-wing extremists” who he said sought to damage monuments and federal buildings.
In response to NBC News’s report, a CBP spokesperson said:
As a law enforcement component under the DHS Protecting American Communities Task Force (PACT), CBP will continue to provide support, as requested, to the Federal Protective Service to protect Federal facilities and property if needed and to local law enforcement partners if requested.
In anticipation of possible Election Day violence, businesses in D.C. and Los Angeles have begun to board up their storefront windows.

Councilmember Helen Gym, the bill's prime sponsor, said, "in banning the police use of less-lethal munitions in response to demonstrations, we are answering the calls of our constituents."

Gym continued: "This is a moment where repairing trust between our residents, public officials, and police are essential. Residential neighborhoods are not warzones. Demonstrators are not enemy combatants. This is a first step in working with our communities to build a new model for public safety that is driven by their needs and their vision for the future."

While most councilmembers support the bill, three councilmembers, including Republican Councilmembers David Oh and Brian J. O'Neill, along with Democrat Bobby Henon, voted against it. Their opposition stemmed from what they said would be the "chilling effects" of police officers not having the right tools to enforce public safety.

Philadelphia Mayor's Office released an update Thursday of the overall situation in the metro area. At least 11 ATMs were blown up across town, 57 police officers injured, and over 212 felony or misdemeanors arrests.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf was quick to deploy the Pennsylvania National Guard on Tuesday with mandatory curfews on Wednesday.

Readers may recall, other Democratic cities banned "less-than-lethal" weapons earlier this year, following the George Floyd protests.

Seattle City Council voted unanimously to ban police from chokeholds, tear gas, pepper spray, and other crowd-control weapons in June.

This is another example of pandering urban Democrats, placing their political interest above police officers' health and safety and the community they are supposed to be protecting.

Also, suppose officers, barred from carrying "less-lethal munitions," what happens when they're forced into a situation where they have no alternative in firing their service weapon?

The Growing Fear Of Speaking Out

Fri, 10/30/2020 - 17:40

Authored by Bruce Wilds via Advancing Time blog,

There is a growing trend where people are feeling compelled to deny their opinions and remain silent. This is because we are seeing a blatant disregard for the opinions of others by both those on the left and the right. Democracy as a form of government is far from perfect. Its greatest weakness is rooted in the ability of a vocal minority to force their opinions on others.

Governments Are Adding To The Fear

This growing fear of speaking out is not limited to America, we are seeing it in countries that claim to be free across the world. The tech giants, governments, and extremist groups are all throwing fuel on the fire and adding to the feeling retaliation is a fair response to speaking our mind. The tech giants' effort to closely watch, silence, and censor those not marching in line with their desired narrative is a dagger in the heart of free speech. This effort is also apparent when we hear about groups threatening to block highways, shut down ports, and occupy state capitols if things fail to go their way. It even extends to harassing elected officials, we are hearing more threats from groups vowing to hound and badger members of Congress at their own homes. Another sign of intolerance is seen in the mass arrest of nonviolent protesters by governments.

Vandalism Like This Is A Sign Of The Times

Consider what we are witnessing as a sign of the times. Above is a picture showing a sign that vandals wrote curse words on, they also egged the house where it was displayed. This started several years ago and ramped up when the term "politically correct" moved front and center. In the minds of some individuals if you say anything that they consider "incorrect" it justifies a harsh response.

In such an environment it is little wonder that many people have become less vocal and afraid to speak their mind. This could help explain why so many people doubt the recent political polls showing Joe Biden leading President Trump by a large margin. Ironically, it is the Democrats that continue to demand the President disavow violence and those associated with it. The cornerstones of democracy are freedom of assembly and speech, inclusiveness and equality, membership, consent, voting, right to life, and minority rights. When these are trampled upon for any reason, the system is in danger of being cast aside.

Boy In Picture Assaulted Over MAGA Hat
In one of the most disgusting acts occurring in an election year, some Joe Biden supporters shoved and stole the hat of a young boy. The reason they assaulted Riley was that he was wearing a MAGA hat. His mother, Abbey Wigton, 27. Said “We were standing outside peacefully minding our own business,” she continued.
“Suddenly, two Joe Biden supporters began to yell political epithets at my child. They ripped the sign from my arms and assaulted my seven-year-old son.

“The Joe Biden supporters laid hands on my child and ripped his “Make America Great Again” hat from his head while cursing at him and pushing him over."
She went on to say, "The two Joe Biden supporters verbally and physically assaulted my child. My 7-year-old child was sobbing and screaming.” Riley, was distraught following the incident because learning how absolutely hideous people can be at an early age can be difficult to handle. The boy wanted to call the police. He wanted his hat back. He wanted the evil people who attacked him to apologize. While the police can do little and the chance of getting an apology very slim, at least one of his wishes is coming true as he has a replacement hat on the way. He found this out when the White House called to tell him.

But this article is not about a small boy being assaulted, it is about how most people are now thinking twice before saying what they think. This article is about the ability of a vocal minority to make people so uncomfortable they become silent. It is about how we should be appalled by those that justify violence, aggression, and force towards those that simply disagree with them. It is about how the threat you may be demonized if you say what you feel tends to breed silence. Watching this unfold is leaving a sickening feeling in those valuing free speech.

A recent survey of 2,000 Americans by Cato Institute/YouGov found most Americans say "the political climate these days prevents them from saying things they believe because others might find them offensive". The survey indicated 52% of Democrats, 59% of independents, and 77% of Republicans now say they have political opinions they are afraid to share. Most people do not enjoy confrontations or being harassed and as a result, are self-censoring themselves. With the free exchange of opinions and ideas being the foundation of a free and healthy democracy the sign public discourse is being destroyed does not bode well for our continued freedom.

Shops Boarded Up In San Francisco Ahead Of Anticipated Election Night Unrest

Fri, 10/30/2020 - 16:40

The Nov. 03 presidential election is just a few days away - and for weeks - we've outlined security consultants, insurers, contractors, and even employees of retailers confirmed businesses are boarding up shops and increasing security measures ahead of Tuesday night.

Earlier this week, the looting and social unrest in Philadelphia following the fatal police shooting of a black man could be an eye-opener of what's to come after the elections. Demonstrations started peacefully on Monday and Tuesday but quickly went downhill as mobs of people looted stores in the city.

The fact that law enforcement officials across the nation have been preparing for widespread violence on election night and after should be troubling to ordinary business owners with brick and mortar presence in metro areas.

For more color on the rising fears of social unrest next week, Harmeet Dhillon, a civil rights attorney and former California Republican Party vice chairwoman, tweeted that shops in San Francisco "are boarding up this week in anticipation of opportunistic rio-looting. Some thugs got started early at Coach earlier this week, which was boarded up today."

— HKD (Harmeet K. Dhillon) (@pnjaban) October 30, 2020
On Wednesday, the San Francisco Business Times posted a photo of the Salesforce Tower, which was also boarded up.
"Bracing for potential violence after next week's election, several landlords near Salesforce Tower and Union Square freshly boarded up their storefronts this week," the Times said.

Marc Intermaggio, executive vice president at BOMA San Francisco, who represents businesses in the metro area, said owners who have already boarded up their shops are just taking "precautionary" action ahead of the election.
"Just pre-election precaution against any civil unrest," Intermaggio told the Times. "Protecting private property."
Many businesses in the downtown and Union Square area were boarded up during the virus pandemic and George Floyd protests, but recently had plywood boards removed as reopening plans were beginning. However, much of that could be in reverse with virus cases surging and threats of unrest next week are elevated.
"Given the heightened attention and emotion around this year's election, many businesses out of an abundance of caution are boarding up their entrances and windows in case of public unrest or protests across the political spectrum," said Karin Flood, head of the Union Square BID. "Given events of this past spring and summer, it is not an unexpected precaution."

Nolte: Riots, Lockdowns Implode Rental Markets in Democrat-Run Cities

JOHN NOLTE31 Oct 2020219

“Renters have never had so many options in Manhattan,” reports Bloomberg. “The number of apartment listings in New York’s most expensive borough has tripled from last year, the highest figure for vacancies in recent history.

Asking rents in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens have imploded.”

“Yet the renters are staying away,” Bloomberg continues. “Since the beginning of the pandemic, cities on both coasts have seen sharp declines in average rents, even double-digit dips for some.”

I encourage you to read the full story. For those of us who live in the real world, who have not had our perspectives violated and cracked by the national media’s surreal and skewed bubble, none of this is anything other than what intelligent people expected. So while the numbers are not surprising, it is still quite an experience to read them.

Let me summarize the best I can…

In 30 core cities, the average rental price has plummeted by an average of more than five percent, while rents in the suburban areas around those cities are up a half-point. This is not due to some big swing in a riot-prone Chicago, Seattle, or Portland skewing everyone else. In 27 of these 30 cities, “suburban rents are outpacing city rents.”

This collapse is also not due to stagnation. People are not staying put. In fact, Rob Warnock, a research associate at Apartment List, says, “We do see people moving effectively at the rate they would be moving right now if there were no pandemic.”

In Charlotte, rents are down two percent while the suburbs are up five. In Dallas, rents are also down two percent. Seattle crashed seven percent. In Silicon Valley, there’s been an 11 percent drop. Boston is down eight percent, New York down 13 percent, and San Francisco down 18 percent.

Come on, y’all…

It’s not the coronavirus… It’s these stupid and unnecessary lockdowns and restrictions. I’ve lived in a couple big cities. It can be great to live in a city, but not if you’re trapped in a small apartment or home for months and months and months… Especially when you’re locked down by your Democrat leaders for no valid reason other than to hurt Donald Trump’s re-election chances.

Out in the suburbs and rural America, even if your shitty, fascist Democrat governor *cough*RoyCooper*cough* locks you down for no reason, you can at least go outside. You have a porch, a deck, a yard, a field… And in my case, all four.

I can’t imagine being stuck in a 600 square foot apartment for weeks, much less months, especially with no access to the outdoors other than a window you probably aren’t allowed to open.

Hilariously, what Bloomberg conspicuously omits entirely from this analysis is months and months and months of left-wing rioting in almost all of these Democrat-run cities. And it is not just the rioting itself. It is that if you live in a Democrat-run city, even a nice and quaint place like Kenosha, Wisconsin, you are living under the constant threat of riots.

As we’ve seen, Black Lives Matter and Antifa are looking for any reason to burn your city down. And Democrat mayors and governors are looking for any reason to allow them to burn your city down because they believe this helps them politically.

As I write this, in one Democrat-run city after another, stores and municipal buildings are being boarded up in anticipation of election night rioting. If Biden wins, there won’t be any rioting. Trump supporters are not barbarians. But if Trump wins, what we’ve witnessed over the past months will be nothing compared to what’s coming. Democrats will be determined to burn it all down, while their elected official and media cheerlead every act of arson, looting, and murder.

This is supposed to be the United States, not Fallujah.

Another major problem is cities like San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, and Los Angeles that are so incompetently governed by Democrats, and have been for decades, are literally turning into dystopias with massive wealth gaps that create a small and powerful left-wing elite untouched by their own policies, and everyone else, who are left to simmer and fester in communities teeming with homelessness, crime, bad roads, illegal immigrants, and lousy government services. They’re choking on smoke from forest fires caused by environmental insanity; dealing with over-priced housing and too little housing, caused by that same environmental insanity; their wages and job opportunities undercut by illegal immigrants; their schools failing and over-funded. It’s pure madness.

We’re not supposed to have to live like this, and out here in the hinterlands, we don’t.

But these idiots keep voting for Democrats, and you get what you vote for, and what you get when you vote for Democrats is high taxes, unnecessary lockdowns, and violence.

And if Biden does win the presidential election, the lockdowns are going to get worse. Much worse.

So of course sane people are fleeing this insanity. Let’s just hope they don’t behave like the locusts in infested Red States like Colorado and Virginia and turn them Blue. Then we’ll never be able to escape the feckless, incompetent, and fascist Democrat rule.

From Midtown To Portland, Businesses Are Boarding Up In Anticipation Of Election Night Chaos

Sat, 10/31/2020 - 10:54

With Election Day looming just around the corner, America's biggest cities and joining America's biggest social media networks in battening down the hatches in preparation for any unrest that might follow the vote count.

In Midtown Manhattan, the site of some of the worst looting in the country during the worst of the George Floyd riots, Macy's and other stores are hammering plywood over their doors and windows.

"Our windows at Macy's Herald Square were previously scheduled to be dark next week in set-up for our annual holiday displays. Out of an abundance of caution, we are implementing additional security measures at several of our stores," a company spokesman said in a statement reportedly emailed to NBC New York.

Despite the new window dressing, Macy's says it intends to continue operating during normal business hours (though potential customers might be dissuaded by all the plywood).

NBC also reported that boards were going up at the T-Mobile store in Times Square.

— Steven Bognar (@Bogs4NY) October 30, 2020
Boards are also going up in Washington DC and LA, the site of a recent wave of protests following a police shooting of an armed black man.

CNBC's Eamon Javers shared photos of businesses putting up plywood barriers in downtown Washington DC.

The neighborhood around the White House is preparing for unrest as businesses scrambled to put up boards, fences, chains and other barriers.

One Twitter user shared photos of downtown LA, where, he claimed, "so many businesses boarded up & in the process of boarding up. Same thing happening in Beverly HIlls & Santa Monica in anticipation of election night. All 3 areas hit hard by looters & rioters during the George Floyd unrest."

We're beginning to see a pattern here. Many of the neighborhoods around the country resorting to putting up plywood and other fortifications already learned their lesson back in the Spring.

In San Francisco, the city’s tallest building, Salesforce Tower, has covered all of its ground floor windows in plywood, according to tweets from a local journalist.

In Seattle, the area formerly known as "CHAZ/CHOP" isn't taking any chances.

Further out in the suburbs, strip malls in Bellevue, Wash. apparently aren't taking any chances.

Finally, business owners in "progressive" Portland aren't taking any chances.

We’ll be on the ground all week covering the latest developments in #Oregon for @GlobalNational, and all @globalnews platforms. pic.twitter.com/i3IjJINinp

One of the many interesting market trends this year is the rising cost of lumber and once-cheap plywood. In addition to terrorizing minority-owned businesses and neighborhoods, looters and rioters are also driving up the cost of building a new home in cities suffering from a desperate shortage of housing stock.
Of course, if the election does end up being contested, we suspect prices for lumber and other materials would soar.

Talk is cheap
They better have security monitoring on the second floors in all of these places. It is within rock-throwing distance, and you don't want many goons collectively throwing objects to bust those windows.

Looters Beat Police Officer with Stolen Cash Register During DC Protest

LANA SHADWICK31 Oct 2020545

Protesters in Washington, D.C. yelled “f**k 12” and took turns beating an officer with a stolen cash register as he lay injured on the ground.

“F**k 12” means “f**k the police;” specifically, “f**k the police drug unit.”

Looters stole the cash register from a Walgreens store this week. They were rioting after a black man died as a result of a moped crash. Protesters initially blamed police for crashing into the moped. A video later released by Metropolitan police officials showed the moped crashing into a civilian SUV, Breitbart News reported.
Wednesday night in Washington DC after they looted a cash register out of a Walgreens, they then used the cash register to repeatedly assault an officer who was on the ground while yelling “**** 12.” #DCProtests https://t.co/4nA5oPkWHt pic.twitter.com/YmTBu4b15F

Someone watching the Walgreens being burglarized before the officer was beaten, asked, “What did they get? Did they get the bank? Holy S**t!”

“These mother-f**kers are like, no, no chill, bro. No chill,” he continued.
“You got the cash register?! Oh.my.God! You guys are savage! Savage!” the narrator proclaimed. “Take that s**t and run! GO! Get the f**k out of here! You better GO!”

“Bro, you better go! You better f**ing go my G [my guy, my bro],” he warned as police approached to aid the assaulted officer. “Run! Don’t stop! You’ve got to f**ing keep running! How are you going to stop?! How are you going to f**ing stop?! Oh, oh, oh…….Oh! DC 2020! Huh!”

“Holy s**t! Stealing cash registers and shirt!,” the rant continues. “Got the cops in the area and s**t. I mean, to each his f**ing own, I guess. You want the cash register, get the cash register.”

“F**k 12 on that s**t. F**k you, you little f**ing piece of s**t. Trying to incriminate motherf**kers and s**t,” he yelled. “Oh, there’s my cops! [laugh] There’s my cops right behind you.”

Rioters in the crowd start to yell: “Black lives…, Black lives…”

The person caught on audio narrating the events noticed that someone was still in the store. “Someone is still in there! Someone is still in that motherf**ker! OUT!”

“NO!,” he exclaimed. “We left a man behind on that s**t! Well, he’s f**ing dust.”

Nearly 50% Of BLM Protesters Arrested In Seattle Were White, From Other Cities

Sat, 10/31/2020 - 21:00
An analysis of 95 arrest records from Seattle riots from May reveals that nearly half of all suspects are white are white men from other cities who traveled to Seattle to commit crimes, according to King5.
Of 95 cases obtained from public records requests and through court filings, KING 5 found:
  • 48% of suspects are white
  • 18% of suspects are black
  • 28% of cases race was undetermined or not listed
  • 32% of suspects listed Seattle as hometown -King5
The report kicks off with the story of Ed Little, a resident of Everett, WA - located approximately half-an-hour North of Seattle.

"I thought it was crazy. That shouldn’t be happening at all," said Little - who thought that peaceful protests against police brutality had been hijacked by criminals.

Then police came knocking on his door to arrest his 25-year-old son and search the family apartment after Jacob Little was caught on camera stealing a rifle from a burning Seattle police car, firing shots into a crowd, and wounding a 15-year-old boy.

View: https://youtu.be/NeNY_cRn-JE
6:51 min

"It’s hard to believe. We don’t know Jake like that. It’s not the kind of boy he is," said Little. "He’s not a troublemaker. Not normally. He doesn’t go out looking for trouble."

Jacob Little pleaded not guilty to federal charges of possessing a stolen firearm and shooting the boy, who survived.

In another case, 20-year-old suburbanite Kelly Jackson was charged by federal prosecutors with throwing Molotov cocktails into Seattle police vehicles in late May. He was immediately fired from his job as a plumber's assistant in Edmonds, WA - some 24 minutes North of Seattle where he lives with his parents.

Source: DOJ
"He definitely doesn’t seem to have an issue vandalizing and breaking into businesses and destroying other people’s property," said Noah Center Executive Director Stacie Ventura.
Court records show the 20-year-old was awaiting trial on three burglary cases in Snohomish county court when Seattle police and FBI investigators caught up with him.
Since 2018, county prosecutors have accused Jackson of breaking into an Edmonds ferry toll booth, a marijuana shop just outside the city, and a Stanwood animal rescue facility where he’s accused of walking off with a nearly 100-pound Rottweiler in the middle of the night.
“I wish I knew. We don’t know,” said Noah Center Executive Director Stacie Ventura, when asked about Jackson’s alleged motive for the canine heist. -King5
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Jacob Greenburg is accused of one of the most 'disturbing social media videos' of the protests when he was filmed smashing a metal baseball bat into a Seattle cop's head on September 23.

Looks like a mix of postings about Vancouver WA, where the riots were, and Vancouver, BC (British Columbia, Canada) where people were not wearing masks during big Halloween celebrations. Both are on the west coast, but in different countries.

I just watched some of the videos posted on the Kitty Shackleford and Andy Ngo Twitter accounts. Crazy how things are in some areas. I just wonder how things are going to play out on election day if Trump wins. I don't think anyone believes we'll see mass civil unrest if Biden wins, only if Biden goes extreme hard left (gun bans, oppressive taxation, etc.) during his time in office could I see the far right start mimicking what we are seeing with the far left.

The thing is, even if Biden wins, I don't see things changing all that much. I don't see any reason why all the police protesting will stop just because Biden wins and passes some sort of police reform measures. I'm already reading reports of most cops, those with logic and intelligence, are just basically responding to calls only. No more proactive policing as this will reduce the likelihood of being involved in some sort of high profile incident. Even then, police will still be involved in shootings that are likely completely justified and we are still going to see these mass demonstrations, riots, looting, etc..

If the one thing Biden does is pass some sort of national healthcare option, cost based on yearly income, get ready to see about 50% or more of our local LEOs retire on a scale never seen before. Plus about another 10-20% who can't yet get pension payouts, but are vested, will likely bail into other jobs, even if they pay less, because they are only staying due to healthcare benefits.

Rioters in Washington, D.C., injured 14 police officers in the chaos that ensued during the city’s second night of protests over the death of Karon Hylton. The injuries include one officer losing eyesight after being targeted with a laser.

DC Metropolitan Police Chief Peter Newsham told reporters on Thursday that 14 of his officers sustained injuries during overnight protests, according to a tweet from Associated Press reporter Mike Balsamo. The injures included eight officers being struck by incendiary devices, one eye injury from a laser, four struck by rocks or bricks, and one sprained ankle, the chief stated.

The DC Police Union responded detailed the injuries and said that one officer lost eyesight due to laser exposure and multiple officers suffered blown eardrums and blast injuries from fireworks thrown at officers by rioters.

The police union officials said rioters attempted to overrun the station and shot fireworks at the officers and the station. They explained that 12 officers had to be taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Actions by city and police leadership forced MPD officers to “handle these violent disturbances in a passive, and frankly, unsafe manner, causing serious risk and injury to our members,” DC Police Union Chairman Gregg Pemberton said in a written statement. “The city is now refusing to allow officers to wear protective helmets, allowing rioters to fire deadly explosives at officers.”

The union stated that several officers sustained concussions after being hit in the head by rocks.

Pemberton added that these decisions by city and police leadership “not only put our members at risk, they also endanger our communities by pulling the few police we have out of patrol. This exposes our neighborhoods to violence and exposes local businesses to destruction and looting.”

Another union official, Adam Shaatal, tweeted there are now “14 less officers on the street, to serve, protect & defend our DC residents and their businesses.”

Federal authorities utilize 1968 ‘civil disorder law’ to charge violent protesters
Posted by: Lizzy Murica|November 1, 2020

PHILADELPHIA, PA – In order to address the violence and destruction present in decidedly non-peaceful protests across the United States, federal officials have utilized a 1968 civil rights statute to bring federal charges against violent perpetrators.

That statute, reportedly rarely utilized since the days of the Nixon administration, has lately been brought forth in approximately two dozen cases across the country.
Feds go after protesters with rarely used civil disorder law enacted in 1960s || Via nbcnews Feds go after protesters with rarely used civil disorder law enacted in 1960s
— SafetyPin-Daily (@SafetyPinDaily) October 31, 2020
The law calls for a fine or imprisonment, or both, for individuals involved in civil disorders who seek to “obstruct, impede, or interfere with any fireman or law enforcement officer lawfully engaged in the lawful performance of his official duties” while committing a civil disorder that obstructs commerce.

In addition, the statute also calls for fine or imprisonment, or both, for “[w]hoever transports or manufactures for transportation in commerce any firearm, or explosive or incendiary device, knowing or having reason to know or intending that the same will be used unlawfully in furtherance of a civil disorder.”

According to a case review by NBC News, the statute has been used in Houston, TX, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, the state of Delaware, the state of South Carolina, Mobile, AL, Rochester, NY, Erie, PA, Portland, OR, and most recently, Philadelphia, PA.

In Philadelphia, for instance, United States Attorney William M. McSwain has charged four individuals under the statute. One, Ayoub Tabri, allegedly destroyed a vehicle belonging to the Philadelphia State Patrol by throwing a lit road flare into it during a violent riot in which multiple protestors attacked the vehicle, shattering windows and stealing the equipment inside. Tabri’s actions allegedly also caused a PSP trooper to be lit on fire, injuring him.

In addition McSwain’s office charged three individuals, Carlos Matchett, Khalif Miller and Anthony Smith, under the statute after the trio were allegedly involved in the fiery destruction of a Police Department vehicle during a civil disorder.
All four defendants, if convicted:

“face a mandatory minimum of seven years in prison and a maximum possible sentence of 65 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, a fine of up to $750,000, and a special assessment of $300.”
Here are my remarks from today’s press conference. In case you would like a summary, here it is. Peaceful protest = good. Violence and arson = bad. Don’t commit violence and arson. Unless you want to go to federal prison for many years. https://t.co/WMnmrUK0jq
— US Attorney William M. McSwain (@USAttyMcSwain) October 29, 2020
Regarding the use of the statute, McSwain clearly delineated for the press on October 29 the difference between violent and non-violent protests.
Pointing out the importance of preserving both freedom of speech and the rule of law, McSwain stated:

“The City’s residents deserve to have their voices heard, and they deserve safe and secure neighborhoods, not mayhem.

“Mayhem – in the form of rioting, looting, robbery, arson, destruction of property, attacks on police officers and other forms of violence – does not bring justice. It accomplishes nothing.”

In a message to potential violent protestors, he added:

“If you are a protestor trying to communicate a message, engaging in mayhem obscures that message. It also turns public opinion squarely against you.

“And most significantly, it can land you in federal prison for a long time. Criminal behavior has been and will be met with swift and decisive action by my Office. That form of justice will be served.”

A violent protestor was similarly charged in Mobile, AL. Protestor Tia Pugh allegedly used a baseball bat to smash the windows of a police cruiser occupied by an officer. Initially, Pugh was charged with inciting a riot and criminal mischief, two misdemeanors. However, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Alabama has now charged her with civil disorder under the statute, as she allegedly interfered with interstate commerce.

In some cases, federal prosecution appears in part to make up for lack of local enforcement of the law. In Portland, OR, where progressive District Attorney Mike Schmidt declined to prosecute a whopping 68% of charges against rioters, there have reportedly been seven federal charges under the statute.

As one might expect, those who defend the actions of violent rioters have found fault with the use of the statute.

Supporters of alleged Philadelphia arsonist Anthony Smith claim that Smith was targeted because he is an activist for the Philadelphia Coalition for Racial Economic and Legal Justice.

Coalition spokesperson Deandra Jefferson called the charges “ridiculous.”
Jackson Kusiak, of the Human Rights Coalition of Pennsylvania, pointed to what he apparently thought was political motivation behind the use of the law, saying:

“I think this is case-in-point where they’re taking orders from Attorney General William Barr, they’re unsealing indictments within a week of an election, and they’re applying a law that hasn’t been used since the Nixon administration.”

Anthony Smith’s lawyer, Paul Hetznecker, claimed the feds were using prosecution under the statute as a means to “quell dissent expressed by progressive political movements.”

Stephen Kanter, attorney and dean emeritus at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, complained to NBC News that the federal government was “choos[ing] to misuse the law.”

Kanter stated:

”It’s one thing if state and local officials are asking for the federal government to prosecute.

He then added:

“but the mere fact you did something criminal doesn’t mean you somehow violated federal interests.”

In addition, the attorney said:

“It’s not normal to have this amount of aggressive, federal law enforcement in situations where the state and local jurisdictions are functioning well and can handle these cases.”

In an apparent reference to Portland D.A. Mike Schmidt’s permissive approach to violent protestors, Kanter continued:

“[In] some cities, prosecution is being done against the will of even the local prosecutor.”

For his part, U.S. Attorney William McSwain addressed specific criticisms of federal action against activist Anthony Smith by maintaining that his office knew nothing of Smith’s affiliations until after the charges were written up.

McSwain also stated:

“We do not investigate people at the U.S. Attorney’s Office; we investigate alleged criminal behavior….

“In our investigations and prosecutions, all we care about is whether you committed a federal crime. And if you did, you will face the consequences.”

By way of further explanation for federal actions taken by his office, McSwain noted:

“I want to be clear that we at the U.S. Attorney’s Office support peaceful protest – indeed, it is part of our job to protect First Amendment freedoms. We take that responsibility very seriously.

He went on to say:

“But violence is not speech. There is no right to riot, loot, rob, commit arson or destroy. If you engage in violent civil unrest and commit a federal crime in this District, we will come after you as hard as we can.

McSwain concluded:

“You will go to jail. It is not worth it.”

Below is our recent report detailing the federal charges against the four violent protestors in Philadelphia:

PHILADELPHIA, PA- On May 30th, Law Enforcement Today reported that two Philadelphia Police Patrol Cars were torched, and now, police have charged the suspects.

Four of the rioter are facing federal charges for allegedly setting the police vehicles on fire on May 30th.

On Thursday, October 29th, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, William McSwain, announced charges against 24-year-old Ayoub Tabri, 25-year-old Khalif Miller, 30-year-old Carlos Matchett, and 29-year-old Anthony Smith on Thursday, KYW reported.

Anthony Smith ironically is a Youthbuild Charter school social studies teacher, and “Philly for Real Justice” representative.
Here is the press release from today's charges. The defendants are all facing a mandatory minimum of 7 years in federal prison if convicted. https://t.co/ZtNTx4Ft9G

Smith, Miller and Matchett were all indicted for arson in connection with their alleged role in setting a Philadelphia Police Department Car on fire.

The vehicle was a total and complete loss following the men apparently placing combustible materials in the police vehicles before throwing a road flare inside.
Smith’s attorney, Paul Hetznecker, accused prosecutors of charging his client because of his role as a “political activist.”

Hetznecker told KYW:

“To charge him federally, I think is outrageous and as I said, it’s another example of the political overreach by the federal government,”

Hetznecker also told The Philadelphia Inquirer:

“Utilizing the awesome power of the federal government to target activists and select them for federal prosecution during one of the most important social justice movements in our history sends a dangerous message,”
He further alleged that the case against Smith is:

“part of a broader effort by this administration to criminalize and quell dissent expressed by progressive political movement.”

McSwain responded by saying he his office was not targeting Smith, and it was not politically motivated.

He told KYW:

“Mr. Smith was not in any way targeted by my office. I knew nothing about Mr. Smith or his affiliations until the investigation was nearly complete,”

He went on to say:

“We do not investigate people at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. We investigate alleged criminal behavior.”

Tabri was indicted for a separate incident involving the arson of a Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) vehicle, which also occurred on May 30, KYW reported.

According to police, two Pennsylvania State Police SUVs were parked on the Interstate 676 on-ramp in an attempt to block rioters from accessing the highway.

KYW reported that Tabri and other members of his group allegedly attacked the patrol vehicles, shattering the windows and stealing fire extinguishers, road flares, and other police-issued riot equipment from inside.

Investigators stated that Tabri threw a road flare into one of the Pennsylvania State Police vehicles, which quickly became engulfed.

— US Attorney William M. McSwain (@USAttyMcSwain) October 29, 2020
The flames also caught a nearby trooper’s uniform on fire, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Tabri has been indicted on charges of obstructing law enforcement in the commission of their duties during a civil disorder and two counts of arson, KYW reported.

Federal prosecutors in New Jersey also charged Matchett with inciting a riot back in June, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Police Tribune reported that prosecutors claim he was responsible for urging rioters to loot stores in Atlantic City just one day after he allegedly torched the patrol vehicle in Philadelphia.

According to police, Matchett was carrying a gasoline-filled jar, a knife, and an axe on him when police arrested him in New Jersey.

McSwain said of the indictments:

“You’re not going to be able to torch police cars and do things like that with impunity,”

McSwain said that it was video footage from throughout the city that assisted in identifying and ultimately arresting the suspects.

McSwain said:

“You can’t go anywhere in Philadelphia without being on video, especially during these protests,”

He continued:

“So my message is, you’re being watched.”

McSwain said that his office supports peaceful protest and the protection of First Amendment rights.

“But violence is not speech,
“There is no right to riot, loot, rob, destroy or commit arson. If you engage in violent civil unrest and commit a federal crime in this district, we will come after you as hard as we can because residents deserve safe and secure neighborhoods, not mayhem.”

Watch: National Guard Troops Arrive In Multiple US Cities Ahead Of Election Night Chaos

Mon, 11/02/2020 - 17:00
In preparation for any emergencies, including widespread social unrest following election results on Tuesday night, the National Guard has been deployed in several states.

Fears of election night chaos have gripped state governments for the last month, forcing Gov. Charlie Baker of Massachusetts on Monday to "activate" 1,000 Massachusetts National Guard members.

And in Oregon, Gov. Kate Brown, for the second time in two months, declared a state of emergency for the Portland metro area, citing potential social unrest surrounding the election.

Governors have also mobilized Guard forces in Texas, Alabama, and Arizona to major cities in their respective states in anticipation of violence.

Last week, the Pennsylvania National Guard was deployed to the Philadelphia metro area amid a couple of nights of social unrest following the police killing of a black man. Guard troops have been since positioned to handle potential unrest come Tuesday night.

According to NBC sources, at the White House, beginning tomorrow, a "non-scalable" fence will be erected around the complex with 250 Guard troops on standby.

As of Monday afternoon, Guard troops have been spotted in several cities, preparing for Tuesday night.

"Non-Scalable" Fence Built Around White House, 250 Soldiers On Standby To Handle Election Night Chaos

Mon, 11/02/2020 - 17:30

President Trump is bracing for a surge of post-election day unrest in the US by building a "non-scalable" barrier surrounding the White House complex, according to CNN.

“The White House on lockdown: A federal law enforcement source tells NBC that beginning tomorrow, crews will build a ‘non-scalable’ fence to secure the WH complex, Ellipse and Lafayette Square,” said NBC White House correspondent Geoff Bennett.

The network reported that the temporary fence surrounding the White House would be similar to the barrier erected to create a perimeter surrounding the White House, similar to the barrier erected in the aftermath.

The fence will be erected on Monday around the Ellipse and Lafayette Square on 15th Street and Constitution Avenue NW.

A study released in mid-October has warned that five states, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Oregon, are at risk.

In addition to the fence, 250 national guardsmen will be on standby to assist local police.

The White House isn't alone: Businesses from Midtown Manhattan to Portland are boarding up their shops for fear of another wave of unrest.

Leftist activists plan unrest in D.C., warn of a potential Trump coup after election
Monday, November 2, 2020
Several leftist groups are preparing to gather in Washington this week, and are warning of the need to fight against a potential coup by President Trump depending on the outcome of the election.

The leftists are concerned that Mr. Trump may refuse to leave office, and they plan to respond by causing unrest in the nation’s capital and harassing lawmakers returning to D.C. at train stations, local airports or their homes.
ShutdownDC published a working plan on its website to “make sure Trump leaves the White House” and noted that the group started training, researching and organizing several months ago.

The group plans three phases of its post-election demonstrations in the nation’s capital. After voting on Tuesday, ShutdownDC is calling on activists to gather at Black Lives Matter Plaza next to the White House beginning at 4 p.m.

“Votes will still be coming in, so this will (probably) not be the time we need to create disruption to stop a coup — yet,” reads the plan on ShutdownDC’s website. “But we’ll be in a good place to respond to whatever might happen.”

Phase two, which runs from Wednesday through Friday this week, will involve mass demonstrations in the streets, and a ShutdownDC presentation online said it is hearing several national organizations will likely hold marches on Washington as well. The group plans to shut down the White House on Thursday with caravans of protesters.

“We’re coming by car, by bike, and on foot, and we’re coming in three waves — at 7am, 9am, and 11am,” said an announcement on ShutdownDC’s website.
ShutdownDC will begin phase three on Sunday, which it has labeled “No More Business as Usual.”

“The week after the election, members of Congress (many of whom will have just been voted out of office) are coming back to DC to go back into session. If Trump is trying to launch a coup, that’s no time for business as usual,” reads the ShutdownDC plan. “We’ll meet them at the train station or the airports or if they drive into town we can meet them at their homes. And if Trump has already conceded, then we can pivot and use these actions to demand COVID-19 relief and other essential legislation!”

The group has advocated for participating activists to be on the lookout for infiltrators who are not committed to their cause, encouraged its participants to use encrypted communications and urged that activists should, “generally avoid calling people by name, unless they have indicated that is ok.”

ShutdownDC, which describes itself as having grown out of protests in the summer of 2019, is far from the only group preparing to protest in D.C.

Choose Democracy, a crew of activists, academics and others, is also preparing to fight against a hypothetical coup that it fears Mr. Trump would launch.

Choose Democracy is led by activists Daniel Hunter and Jenny Marineau Zimmer and is urging its activists to be ready to act quickly. Its website points to the Soviet Union in 1991 as an example of a quick campaign to defeat a coup.

“We built Choose Democracy as a short-term platform, not an organization that lasts beyond this moment,” the organizers say on their website. “We focus on “What to do if there’s a coup?” so other groups can keep their focus on other important efforts: voter outreach, preventing voter disenfranchisement, defending vote-by-mail, and making things better whoever wins.”

Choose Democracy’s coup-o-meter on its website is fixated on “preparing for a coup” as of Monday and is urging users to sign up for text message alerts to “Find out the moment a coup starts.”

In preparation for such unrest, several D.C.-area businesses have boarded up their storefronts. Last week, Police Chief Peter Newsham said he was unaware of any credible threats of violence.

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — In the days before November 3, several businesses could be seen with boards covering windows in anticipation of civil unrest.
Coronavirus has not kept Americans from filling the streets to protest this year, and some believe Election Day will spark another burst of protests throughout the country.

While some protests have been peaceful, the crowds can bring out people who are there to do damage. Fearing graffiti and smashed windows, businesses in the Bay Area boarded up.

However, it may not be likely that we’ll know who gets the Oval Office these next four years on election night, or even this week.

Mail-in ballots will delay ballot tallies. In California, election offices are accepting mail-in ballots until November 20, as long as the envelope is postmarked on or before Election Day on November 3.

Despite the timeline for mail-in ballots, vote counters will already have millions of ballots to record as polls close at 8 p.m. Early voting turnout has broken records across the country.

In California, 10 million people have already voted as of November 1, according to the Office of the California Secretary of State.
