I am so sorry Anney, Having to bury your child is a parent's worst nightmare. I walked this path, And it breaks my heart when I see others having to go through the same thing. Prayers lifted for you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.

Anney, this is my first post in a long, long time. I'm usually a lurker. My heart goes out to you. Many, many prayers your way and may God wrap his arms around you in your time of sorrow.

I am so sorry you have lost your son. I pray for you to have strength and peace. I have lost 2 family members to suicide many years apart. Time helps but it is a slow journey.

I just wish I could think of something to say to lift your burden a tiny bit other than you are in my prayers. I just remembered that God says he is close to the broken hearted - so know that.

I am so sorry. I feel your loss, and grief, and shattered heart. My son was 33, he's been gone 1 1/2 years now. I often see someone that walks like he did, walking down the street. I hear him in my Grandson's voice tones. I see him in my Grandson's faces. Time will ease the pain, but that ache will always be there. Sending prayers of comfort and love to you. I'm always willing and eager to chat, if you ever feel the need to talk. God bless you and your family.

Oh Anney, I am so very sorry. My heart is breaking for all of you and I'm crying like a baby. The poor man, how despondent he must have been to see that as his only option. His twins will carry this grief for the rest of their lives, as will you. Grieving a suicide is very different than grieving a more "traditional" death. You will indeed be changed forever.

I lost my significant other to suicide six years ago and I am no longer who I was. Shortly thereafter I'd found this suicide survivors support web site and I honestly don't think I'd still be here without them. Lifting you up in prayer.

I’m in a group of suicide widows on Facebook. Those ladies saved my life. Like you said, I wouldn’t have survived without them.

And you’re right. Suicide IS a death like no other. My husband ended his life 4-1/2 years ago.

Anney, if you’re on Facebook, I’d recommend finding a group of survivors. They can help you heal.

God bless you.
