HEALTH Monkeypox - more bad news

Seems to be in SW Idaho. A rash of 7 cases within the past week - November 19 - 25, 2023.

Isn't that area full of White Separatists? There's not many of those with the "risky lifestyle". Against their religion. Do we have intentional seeding of virus in this area to specifically wipe out White people? Say it ain't so.

Just pinged my radar that in all of the lower 48, the area known for White, non .gov people is where it landed. Might not ping as much if there were other areas and races hit as bad.

No, that area is mostly LDS. The folks you're thinking of are mostly up north around Sandpoint

102 African migrants detained traveling by bus in southern Mexico; 3 smugglers arrested – 95.5 WSB

MEXICO CITY — (AP) — Authorities detained two buses carrying 102 migrants from African nations in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca on Tuesday morning, according to Mexico’s immigration agency.

Three suspected people smugglers traveling with the convoy were also arrested.

The majority of the migrants came from the West African nations of Senegal and Guinea, as well as six from Djibouti, two from Congo and one from Mauritania.

Authorities did not say how the migrants are thought to have arrived in Mexico, but African migrants have been known to use Nicaragua as a transit point to reach the U.S., because of the country's lax visa requirements.

‘Only a matter of time’ before mpox strain in Congo spreads

Last week, the CDC issued a health advisory to physicians in the United States about a more transmissible strain of mpox virus spreading in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and asked them to consider mpox when evaluating rashes.
The alert was for clade I mpox virus, which is different than the clade IIb mpox virus at the center of last year’s global mpox outbreak.

Congo's presidential election spotlights the deadly crisis in the east that has displaced millions

Congo's presidential election is a week away, and the major issue is the deadly conflict in the nation's east that has forced millions of people to flee their homes

Congo: Millions of people moving around in a country with fragile health services and a gazillion diseases to choose from. Little to no public health accountability or follow up.

Congo: Clade I (bad, very bad, really bad) monkeypox in 85% of the country's provinces. Those are cases they know about.

Nicaragua: Hub for African migration, legality irrelevant. They're mixing 'em up on the way out of Africa and overseas to Nicaragua.

Mexico: Arrested, jailed, housed together, African migrants, including some from Congo. Those are the ones they actually caught.

U.S.: I used to be able to get the counts from each country in the OTM " Other Than Mexican" from border patrol reports. Who the hell knows now? They get shipped all over the U.S. and housed in buildings with shared air conduits, like hotels.

Why did I start warning you in 2019? I thought maybe the timeline could be diverted in another direction? The inertia of this thing is beyond my ability to describe. They lulled the world into thinking monkeypox is a gay disease that only kills HIV positives. Clade I is officially 5% fatality, but individual villages reported 33% to 66% years ago. That death rate is on par with smallpox.

I don't want my personal situational depression to bring you down, but damn. I don't know what we're supposed to do with this.

Dear Helen - you are doing exactly what you are supposed to do: Telling those that will listen. It's not always our job to see the whole process - plant the seed, water, weed, and harvest the end result. Sometimes, it's just our job to plant or weed or water. Many times we don't get to see the harvest. That doesn't mean that our watering and weeding was not of vital importance.

Thanks Helen for bringing this to us. I don't want to nor do I look forward to dealing with it.

Forwarned is forearmed and I appreciate the time you've taken from your personal life to allow me to begin preparing for it so that I can help my family and friends when the time comes.

I am sorry that you are dealing with the other situations but am sending positive thoughts and will add you to my prayer list.

Our world and our lives NEED(S) the creator of all to love us.
God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to save us if we believe in Him.

Jesus Himself said He did not come to call the righteous, but the sinner.

We are exhorted to love our neighbor as ourself and this is where the failure lies. Instead of looking to blame 'deviants' and 'coal burners' for its spreading, we should be looking at those responsible for releasing this pox upon us ALL.

But more importantly we should be taking this time to stop fighting amongst ourselves and prepare for how to survive and help our communities.

On TB every waking moment
"Bush meat" to roadside/river side eateries to truck drivers/boatmen to brothels rinse and repeat. That's how AIDS proliferates in Africa and that's how this is now, only add European organized "adult raves" to the list.

Either that or "WEF" is doubling down on "population control"........

Don't confuse Christ meeting the sinners where they were at with his condoning their lifestyle.... just because he met a whore at the well doesn't mean he hung out at the brothel.... or tolerated degenerate conduct in his presence.. he demanded repentance

He always admonished them to go and sin no more!! A far cry from the contemporary love the sinner hate the sin, seeker friendly donut ministry heresy...

The contemporary Sodomites have zero to work with..... PRIDE...

This is Psalm 91 time... pray you are counted worthy to simply observe as the wicked receive their just reward....

Sobering verse!

Either, or both.

Probably similar to Covid, with the addition of colloidal silver and maybe astringents and soothing products for topical use on the sores. Also, antibiotics for the inevitable infections in the pox sores, especially in immune damaged individuals (you know, the one who think they're protected against Covid?)

I was working on a topical for this, but never put it together when it faded out. I'm aiming for astringent, pain relieving, antibacterial and healing properties. I may have to finish the project after all!

What do we have in the way of ideas for treating this scourge?
There was ample discussion during round one that sarracenia purpurea would be helpful with treatment.

As always due diligence is job one.

It was available in a liquid homeopathic form.

Eta: research "Charles Milspaugh" 1892. Plenty of historical accounts where it was claimed to be useful against smallpox to some degree.

I make no personal claim of effectiveness nor endorse using anything without seeing your doktah. Blah,blah...

I assume this is still a legal discussion free from liability. :)

Last edit: post 22 already mentioned this plant. AKA pitcher plant.

Fomites don't care if you are heterosexual, monogamous, married, single or making gay porn in the Senate.

Once this takes off it will be EVERYWHERE.
No. *If* this becomes something capable of being transferred other than sexually, then it will be a problem.

When is the last time you heard of gonorrhea, HPV, or Chlamydia being spread via sneeze or doorhandles?

Be careful about the pathway of your thinking. It's easy to think, "Well, disease x won't happen to me because I don't smoke, drink, sleep around, etc, etc". It's a normal human thing. "Susie just got diagnosed with cancer - but she smokes and I don't (so that won't happen to me)".

We like to use these 'reasons' to distance ourselves from the possibility that bad things like disease can't happen to us. It's normal, but not the wisest way to think.

I'm sorry - I'm not phrasing things well today at all. It doesn't matter if AIDS is spread by sexual contact - hemophiliacs still got it. People with massive trauma that required blood infusions still got it. Nurses with needlesticks still got it. Don't think that you couldn't end up with moneypox simply because it is (perhaps) mostly spread by sexual contact.
