Protesters who are against illegal immigration march in the streets of London

Protesters rally through central London, making their way towards the Home Office to protest the influx of illegal migrants arriving from France.

According to figures, over 30,000 illegal migrants have made their way over from France this year alone and the figure is said to be projected at around 70,000 by the end of this year.

With the new cabinet reshuffle in parliament after tory members voted to elect Liz Truss, she appointed Suella Braverman to lead the home office, a large part of the public. However, she still does not think Suella will deliver on turning the boats back to France.

Protesters made their voices heard in parliament square about the ongoing influx of illegal immigrants into the country, however, the march took a turn for the worst after police kettled protesters and ultimately led to fracturing the group.

Citizen journalist Steve Laws was there to give his take on the day and how he doesn't think the reshuffle in government will make a shred of difference, I'm inclined to agree with him.

Fake Meat Sales Plummet On High Prices, Woke Messaging

MONDAY, SEP 26, 2022 - 07:40 PM

A few years ago, life was good for the fake meat industry. Beyond Meat had been given vast amounts of real estate in grocery stores, and had scored a deal with Burger King to sell "Impossible" Whoppers. McDonald's rolled out a McPlant burger (which was quietly shelved last month). Snarky woke advertisements permeated the airwaves and interwebs as plant-based 'meats' were on the rise. In fact, Beyond Meat waas valued at over $10bn in 2019, more than Macy's or Xerox - with the most bullish investors claiming that plant-based meat would make up 15% of all meat sales by 2030.

McDonald’s trialed a McPlant burger, left, but quickly discovered it was unpopular. Photograph: McDonalds/PA

Now, as Bloomberg reports, the fake meat industry is getting ground into hamburger - and that doesn't include cannibalistic nose-biting execs, according to Deloitte Consulting, LLC.

Sales of refrigerated meat alternatives at retailers are down 10.5% by volume for the 52-weeks ending September 4, 2022, according to data from Information Resources Inc., or IRI. While higher prices are the top reason for the slide, it’s not the only one, according to Jonna Parker, a fresh food specialist at the market research company. -Bloomberg

"Proteins that were cheaper on a price-per-pound basis did fare better," said Parker, who noted that semi-vegetarian shoppers who used to opt for the alternative product will now choose the less-expensive real thing. In short, people are less willing to pay a premium for fake meat, especially considering that 'taste and health concerns' are playing a role.

According to Deloitte, the fake meat industry has a perception problem. Based on a July survey of 2,000 consumers, there's been a decline in the belief that plant-based meat is actually healthier and environmentally sustainable vs. meat from animals.

Despite the increasing alarm over climate change, the number of Americans who are vegetarian or vegan has remained relatively stable over the last 20 years. About 5% of Americans in 2018 said they are vegetarian, while 3% are vegan, according to a Gallup poll.

Even when participants in a study conducted at Purdue University in Indiana were given information about the carbon footprint of meat production, participants were more likely to go with regular meat over a plant-based alternative.

Bhagyashree Katare, an author of the study, said that participants may have been put off by the taste of plant-based meat and the fact that it is not necessarily a healthier alternative to regular meat. Many plant-based meat alternatives are comparable to their real meat counterparts in nutritional content. That it costs about the same as meat also diminishes its attractiveness to consumers. -The Guardian

"If I’m spending money in a restaurant, and I’m a meat eater, why would I spend money on plant-based meat? I would rather eat an actual burger," said Katare. "It’s a technology, and it takes a long time for people to trust the technology and adopt it. I think that’s where plant-based meat is. Maybe the technology will improve, and it will get better health-wise."

What's more, the actual market may be much smaller than previously thought - which coincides with a 'growing cultural resistance to its "woke" status' - even among people who are trying in earnest to reduce their consumption of red meat.

For example, when Cracker Barrel announced they were adding Impossible Foods' sausage to its menu over the summer, it faced fierce opposition via social media.

As The Guardian notes, the McDonald's McPlant burger was shelved last month, as the push to get US meat eaters to switch to plant-based alternatives has proven a challenge.

Multiple chains that partnered with the company, including McDonald’s, have quietly ended trial launches. In August, the company laid off 4% of its workforce after a slowdown in sales growth. Last week, its chief operating officer was reportedly arrested for biting another man on the nose during a road rage confrontation.

It’s a dramatic reversal of fortune. Just two years ago, Beyond Meat, its competitor Impossible Foods and the plant-based meat industry at large seemed poised to start a food revolution. -Guardian

"The bulls in the industry, I think, had a very wild, very optimistic estimate of how big the market could get," said Mizuho Securities analyst John Baumgartner. "There was a lot of exuberance in this category. It was new, it was different, it was on trend."

"But the consumer environment is tough, and this stuff is not cheap," he added.

Year-to-date, Beyond Meat stock is down 77%, and is valued at less than $900 million.

New Zealand Prime Minister Calls For A Global Censorship System

MONDAY, SEP 26, 2022 - 08:00 PM
Authored by Jonathan Turley,

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is the latest liberal leader to call for an international alliance to censor speech. Unsatisfied with the unprecedented corporate censorship of social media companies, leaders like Hillary Clinton have turned from private censorship to good old-fashioned state censorship. Speech regulation has become an article of faith on the left. Ardern used her speech this week to the United Nations General Assembly to call for censorship on a global scale.

Ardern lashed out at “disinformation” and called for a global coalition to control speech. After nodding toward free speech, she proceeded to lay out a plan for its demise through government regulation:

But what if that lie, told repeatedly, and across many platforms, prompts, inspires, or motivates others to take up arms. To threaten the security of others. To turn a blind eye to atrocities, or worse, to become complicit in them. What then?

This is no longer a hypothetical. The weapons of war have changed, they are upon us and require the same level of action and activity that we put into the weapons of old.

We recognized the threats that the old weapons created. We came together as communities to minimize these threats. We created international rules, norms and expectations. We never saw that as a threat to our individual liberties – rather, it was a preservation of them. The same must apply now as we take on these new challenges.

Ardern noted how extremists use speech to spread lies without noting that non-extremists use the same free speech to counter such views. To answer her question on “how do you tackle climate change if people do not believe it exists” is that you convince people using the same free speech. Instead, Ardern appears to want to silence those who have doubts.

While referring to a global censorship coalition as a “light-touch approach to disinformation,” Ardern revealed how sweeping such a system would likely be. She defended the need for such global censorship on having to combat those who question climate change and the need to stop “hateful and dangerous rhetoric and ideology.”

“After all, how do you successfully end a war if people are led to believe the reason for its existence is not only legal but noble? How do you tackle climate change if people do not believe it exists? How do you ensure the human rights of others are upheld, when they are subjected to hateful and dangerous rhetoric and ideology?”

That is the same rationale used by authoritarian countries like China, Iran, and Russia to censor dissidents, minority groups, and political rivals. What is “hateful” and “dangerous” is a fluid concept that government have historically used to silence critics or dissenters.

Ardern is the smiling face of the new generation of censors. At least the old generation of censors like the Iranians do not pretend to support free speech and openly admit that they are crushing dissent. The point is that we need to be equally on guard when censorship is pushed from the left with the best of motivations and the worst of means.

As the great civil libertarian Justice Louis Brandeis once said, “the greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding.”

Remembering Hate Speech: Victor Davis Hanson

MONDAY, SEP 26, 2022 - 08:40 PM
Authored by Victor Davis Hanson via American Greatness,

It has been a canard of the Left that “words matter.” We are lectured that “hate speech” leads inevitably to street violence.

So how ironic that the Left defames nearly half of America as dangerous “semi-fascist” extremists, white-raged and privileged, ultra MAGA, and guilty of all sorts of thought crimes from secession to civil insurrection? And what is the result?

Does this constant demonization matter? And what are the bitter fruits of such labors? After all, what did Barack Obama long ago mean by “clingers” or once Hillary Clinton by “deplorables” and “irredeemables”?

What did Joe Biden imply by “dregs” and “chumps” and “semi-fascists”? Or what did the FBI lovebirds really mean by smelly Walmart goers and “hillbillies”? After a point, did not America get this monotonous message?

And what does Joe Biden really mean when he recycles his academic advisors’ tired tropes of right-wing insurrectionists threatening the republic?

MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. . . . MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards—backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love . . . They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country . . . MAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow of lies.

When the president fuels the now familiar old narrative by claiming that 75 million who voted for Donald Trump do not live in the “light of truth” but in the “shadow of lies,” and they do not follow “the rule of law,” some questions naturally arise.

First, what evidence does the president adduce to prove that 75 million Morlocks in the shadows are liars and avoid the “light of truth” of the Eloi? By what criteria does he use to judge them “semi-fascists”?

Is his proof the 120 days of violent looting, arson, violence, and death in the summer of 2020—virtually green-lighted by mayors, the media, and, yes, the current vice president? Who “fanned the flames of political violence” and were a “threat to the rule of law”?

Does Biden mean half the country is not respecting the Constitution by its systematic attack on our long-standing constitutional precepts, from the Electoral College and the rights of states to set voting laws? Are the “semi-fascists” trying to pack the Supreme Court? End the filibuster? Bring in two states solely to elect four left-wing senators?

Does the president mean the illegality of the often-rogue Washington-centric FBI, whose past director and legal counsel have lied to federal investigators and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court? Does he refer to himself who was enriched by the grifting efforts of his wayward son? Do semi-fascists brag that they got foreign state attorneys fired for looking into the shady dealings of their own family? Perhaps Biden was railing against scores of big-city state attorneys who systematically refuse to enforce the law, and so leave the innocent at the mercy of serially released criminal felons?

Second, what are Americans in the Old Testament/eye-for-an-eye, tooth-for-a-tooth Prophet Biden’s eyes to do with those miscreants?

What should America then do when half the country prefers to live in the “shadow of lies,” and rejects the “light of truth”?

Sic the FBI on them to monitor their speech at school board meetings? Hire 87,000 IRS agents to continue the Obama-era policies of weaponizing the IRS? Bring Lois Lerner out of retirement?

Put them in solitary confinement for “illegal parading”?

Keep them out of their capital by stringing barbed wire and militarizing it with 30,000 federal troops?

Draft the Democratic Party to work with the FBI in destroying a political candidate through false dossiers, paid informants, and concocted conspiracies?

Leg-irons for former Trump officials?

Performative FBI SWAT raids on their homes?

Government workers colluding with private companies to censor free speech and expression?

A new Ministry of Truth?

Who then is destroying the rule of law? Joe Biden, who violated his oath of office and nullified the entire corpus of federal immigration law, in 1850s fashion, and allowed 3 million illegally to enter his country?

Joe Biden, who by fiat illegally canceled an expected half-trillion dollars in student debt?

Joe Biden, who recalibrated the FBI into a first-family retrieval service of lost computers and diaries of his wayward children?

Or is the shadow-dweller who “does not respect the Constitution” none other than Hillary Clinton who hired two foreign nationals to compile dirt on her Republican opponents in hopes of warping an election, or the FBI who also hired both her paid fraudsters as FBI informants in efforts to aid the Clinton smear?

Is urging a candidate never to concede if he lost the popular vote or boasting of joining #TheResistance to an elected president whom she pronounced “illegitimate” anti-Constitutionalism? Or maybe destroying subpoenaed emails or destroying court-ordered evidence?

And who exactly are the merchants of racial hatred about whom we so often hear?

Is it the same Joe Biden who claimed Barack Obama was the first black presidential candidate who could speak intelligently? The same Joe Biden who screamed to a group of accomplished black professionals that Mitt Romney would put “y’all back in chains”? The same Biden who bragged that his heroic Southern segregationist senatorial colleagues never called him “boy”?

Or is it Joe the healer who called black media hosts “junkie” and “You ain’t black”?

Perhaps it’s the unifier Biden who spun racist Corn-Pop stories about how he had faced down criminal black gang leaders? Or the ecumenical Biden who called a senior African American aide “my senior advisor and boy”? Who boasted that young black children used to love to feel the golden hairs on his tan legs?

Or would Biden mean by racists none other than the current Democratic candidate for Senate in South Carolina, Krystle Matthews? She recently gushed that one must “treat white people like sh-t”?

Or was it Kelisa Wing, the Pentagon’s “Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at the Department of Defense Education Activity”? She in the past complained, “I’m exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions,” and “I am exhausted by 99% of the white men in education and 95% of the white women. Where can I get a break from white nonsense for a while.”

At one time, stereotyping millions as a toxic collective was the classic definition of racism.

Is Wing a target of what Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley promised when they boasted of scouring the Pentagon ranks to root out racism and racial rage?

Or maybe Biden was referring to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot?

She barred reporters from one-on-one interviews on the basis of race with the putdown, “By now, you may have heard the news that on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of my inauguration as mayor of this great city, I will be exclusively providing one-on-one interviews with journalists of color.”

When Joe Biden talks about the supposed violent, racist, MAGA dwellers in darkness, does he produce data for his allegations? Are his proverbial white-male insurrectionists committing violent crimes at five times their numbers in the general population?

Do MAGA Midwesterners threaten Orthodox Jews in New York or Asians in San Francisco? What do statistics suggest about who is disproportionately committing these hate crimes that Biden would otherwise characterize as typical of those living in the shadows or in lies?

Are the MAGA voters swarming the homes of Supreme Court Justices? Are they running them out of restaurants? Are they mobbing at the doors of the Court to threaten justices by name, and warning that liberal justices won’t “know what hit you” as they justifiably “reap the whirlwind”?

Is Biden’s putatively dangerous Trump supporter out killing a teenager who, postmortem, is dubbed a political activist opponent; running down dozens at Christmas parades; threatening a U.S. senator and his wife as they exited the White House; or attempting to assassinate key members of Congress?

At the University of Oregon are white MAGA denizens in the “shadows of lies” screaming “F—k the Mormons” during football games, or plastering the Stanford campus with anti-Semitic posters of “Ben B Gone” bug spray to gin up violence to stop the implied Jewish insect Ben Shapiro from speaking?

We are reaching a critical juncture now in America.

Writing off half the population as irredeemable and deplorable or semi-fascists is not a sustainable proposition. And we can see how it is not.

Is the chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer at the Department of Defense relieved or worried that the army will not have enough white raging males to die in the next optional war in the Middle East at twice their percentages in the population? The Army has only met 50 percent of its annual recruiting target.

When Biden demonizes in now stereotypical fashion—and without data—an entire 75 million person demographic, when the popular culture has legitimized smearing these millions as dangerous “racists” fueled by “white rage,” and when the media manufactures a series of fake melodramas—from the Russian collusion hoax to the Russian disinformation use of his son’s laptop to the Jussie Smollett lie, the Covington kids slander, or the Duke lacrosse and volleyball mythologies—at some point is it any wonder that we are beginning to witness an epidemic of violence directed at the supposedly privileged, or the supposedly politically incorrect, whether targeting random solitary women for violent acts or purported conservatives or any demographic who are all apparently deserving such punishment due to their race or political beliefs?

Joe Biden’s “Phantom of the Opera” rant will be memorialized as the most reckless and venomous presidential speech in recent history. Such vile rhetoric fuels even viler reactions—and eventually filters down to the street where criminals believe that shooting a congressman or mobbing a Supreme Court justice or killing a solitary jogger or a teen-aged “Republican” is some sort of reification of what they feel is now acceptable retribution.

In sum, what we used to know as “hate speech” is now presidentially acceptable speech, and what has followed from it is no surprise.

An Oil Supply Shock May Be Imminent

By Irina Slav - Sep 25, 2022, 6:00 PM CDT

When the chief executive of Aramco said earlier this week that years of underinvestment had damaged the balance between supply and demand in the oil market, it should have been a wake-up call to those in decision-making positions. Instead, the secretary-general of the UN bashed the oil industry once again for “feasting” on record-high profits and urged governments to make them pay for this.

Meanwhile, OPEC’s production shortfall last month reached 3.58 million bpd—a figure equal to some 3.5 percent of global demand—and the United States continued to sell oil from its strategic petroleum reserve.

These seemingly unrelated news reports do have something very important in common. Both clearly suggest a supply shortfall on a global level is imminent. Throw in the news that Russia’s oil exports could fall by some 2.4 million bpd after the EU embargo enters into effect in December, and an oil shortage becomes more or less unavoidable.

Oil demand has remained resilient in the face of a multitude of challenges, and even prices of over $100 per barrel failed to curb it in any significant way earlier this year. Now, prices are somewhat tempered, but the embargo is still about two months away. Once this kicks in, prices are bound to jump because alternative supply is limited. And the U.S. will need to start refilling its SPR at some point because it is getting depleted.

The Wall Street Journal sounded the alarm on that problem this week. Author Jinjoo Lee cited the Energy Information Administration as saying the inventory level at the SPR had declined by another 7 million barrels in the week to September 16, meaning the total was 427 million barrels. And this number was the lowest SPR inventory level since 1984. It is also the first time there is less oil in the SPR than in commercial storage, Lee noted.

Perhaps worse is the fact that the administration has no plans to start replenishing the SPR anytime soon. In a report from earlier this month, the Department of Energy denied a report by Bloomberg that it was waiting for oil prices to dip below $80 per barrel to start refilling the SPR.

This suggests the DoE has no immediate plans to start filling up the SPR, and this is a cause for worry because oil supply shocks tend not to be obvious until they become painfully so. And a supply shock is definitely coming to Europe if the U.S. is not there to help. Add to this the moderate growth in U.S. oil production and statements by industry executives that U.S. won’t be able to bail Europe out with oil or gas, and the situation becomes quite bleak.

Meanwhile, as the EU begins discussions of a price cap on Russian oil, in addition to the embargo, U.S. senators are pushing for increased sanction pressure on the buyers of Russian crude to make sure the other price cap, the one agreed to by the G7, works. If either of these latest efforts ends with a decision to take action, there should be little doubt that Russia will respond just as it said it would respond: no oil sales for price cappers. And this means even less oil to go around.

It seems many in positions of power are oblivious to this threat. In fact, in a congressional hearing this week, Rep. Rashida Tlaib asked the heads of the biggest U.S. banks whether they had already devised a strategy for exiting oil and gas investments as a whole. The question suggests that the latest supply and demand—and price—developments have escaped Rep. Tlaib’s attention just like they have escaped Antonio Guterres’ attention.

The answer that JP Morgan’s Jamie Dimon gave to Rep. Tlaib’s question at the Wednesday hearing, however, is one for the books. “That would be the road to hell for America,” Dimon said in what is perhaps the bluntest assertion yet that economies run on oil and gas, and they will continue to run on oil and gas for many more decades, whatever direction the energy transition takes.

The evidence is right there under all our noses: Europe. For all its efforts to convert to the lowest emitter in the world—which it did for a while—Europe thrived not on cheap solar and wind but on cheap gas and abundant oil. Now that these are gone, European economies are beginning to fall apart.

Avoiding a supply shock in oil would be difficult in the current circumstances. The OPEC+ shortfall is not all a result of conscious action. In fact, most of it is not, and this means it would be almost impossible to make up for. And the U.S. can’t afford to continue drawing on its SPR for much longer without doing something in the replenishment department. It’s called strategic for a reason, after all.

Deep State Targeting Your MIND, Literally

The New American Published September 26, 2022

Deep State totalitarians are now targeting your mindset and worldview as they move toward the Great Reset and the New World Order, warns The New American magazine's Alex Newman in this episode of Behind The Deep State. This includes using propaganda, lies, "nudging," emotional manipulation, and brainwashing masquerading as "education," Alex warns. World Economic Forum chief Klaus Schwab openly said "mindsets" must be transformed. The United Nations has made similarly alarming comments. Key officials from the Obama and Biden administrations are working on using "behavioral insights" in this effort to transform people's minds. And according to whistleblowers, Rick Stengel, former Obama undersecretary of state, operates an outfit called the Good Info Foundation, that is paying influencers big money to lie to Americans. Speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations, Stengel boasted of the alleged benefits of using propaganda against Americans. People like Obama regulatory "czar" Cass Sunstein, meanwhile, have advocated the use of "nudging" to shift people's views and behavior. British authorities have been doing it for a long time. Working with the UN, John Podesta--a key operative with the Clinton family and Obama--also spoke of the need to change people's mindsets.

Diana West: 'We Don’t Know Who is in Charge of this Country, but it’s Certainly Not Biden'

RAIRFoundationUSA Published September 26, 2022

On September 1st, President Biden stood on a stage at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall and delivered what is now known as his “red wall” speech. Flanked by two U.S. marines, with the backdrop bathed in ominous deep blood red light, it was reminiscent of a horror show more than an address to a heavily divided nation from the seat of American freedom and independence.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” said Biden. “Now, I want to be very clear — very clear up front: Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology. But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.

“And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give the power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

Even mainstream liberal media called the President out on the setting, the use of the military, and his message, which in one stroke demonized any voter who does not vote for the liberal left and certainly all those who identify as MAGA Republicans.

Diana West, a widely syndicated columnist, former CNN contributor, best-selling author, and Yale graduate, has much to say about the “battle for the soul of a nation” speech. She recently shared her perspective in an exclusive interview with RAIR Foundation USA.

5 Reasons Central Bank Digital Currencies Are Actually Worse Than You Probably Realize 1:09:01 min

5 Reasons Central Bank Digital Currencies Are Actually Worse Than You Probably Realize

The JD Rucker Show Published September 26, 2022

There's a series of reactions "normies" have when they learn about Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). First, there is curiosity, especially among those who have dabbled with cryptocurrencies. After all, one of the biggest drawbacks of cryptocurrencies is their adoption; you just can't buy very many things with them unless you jump through a bunch of hoops.

The next reaction is hope. If CBDCs are automatically drawn or deposited from your accounts, it makes transactions seem easier. It's like a credit card, right, just more digital. The powers-that-be are saying they're secure. Corporate media is playing them up as a real convenience. Who wants to hand out filthy cash back and forth between strangers at the convenience store?

As this stage, the evolving reactions to CBDCs diverge. Many "normies" forget all about them and go about their business. Some start to get that hint of concern in the backs of their minds, especially if they're politically conservative. What sort of controls will government have over us as a result of CBDC adoption? Will they know everything we buy and sell? Will those records be easily accessible to others? Could they shut us down if we get out of line like the truckers in Canada?

My audience almost certainly bypassed stage one and two and went straight to skepticism the first time they heard about CBDCs. Yes, they mean more control over our money from government. Yes, they mean our financial privacy will be non-existent. And yes, the government can shut us down if we get out of line. But it's actually even worse than all that.

An interesting Substack hit my feed that details much of the current situation regarding CBDCs and why we should be very concerned. I would go so far as to say we should be much more than concerned. We should fight this with the same fervor that we'd fight off a pack of wolves trying to eat our families. CBDCs represent an existential threat to our way of life. This isn't just about freedom or privacy. This is about losing our abilities to fight against tyranny. It's a half-notch below gun confiscations as far as detrimental effects on our future. Just as taking away the 2nd Amendment would remove our ability to dissuade the rise of tyranny, so too would widespread CBDC adoption remove our ability to operate outside of the government-prescribed system.

Central Bank Digital Currencies are the Bullet Train to Digital Concentration Camps

“If you can move every human into a digital concentration camp, empty their bank account any time you want, and tell them what they can and cannot spend money on, you've got complete control."

The White House published a "comprehensive framework" on Friday attacking decentralized cryptocurrencies while promoting a U.S. government-controlled programmable Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), per an official press release.

Agencies that were chosen to lead the ongoing working group for the research and possible development of a CBDC include the Federal Reserve, the National Economic Council, the National Security Council, the Office of Science and Technology Policy, and the Treasury Department.

CBDCs are digital currency issued directly from a nation-state’s central bank and serve as legal tender.

Critically, CBDCs are controlled by governments and therefore represent the polar opposite of the ideas — decentralization, open-source software, permissionless, peer-to-peer transactions — that made Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies such a revolutionary technology.

As you can guess, CBDCs will be tied to user identities and Digital IDs, which will allow for total surveillance by the State and eliminate any chance of financial privacy.

According to the Atlantic Council’s Central Bank Digital Currency Tracker, 112 countries, representing over 95 percent of global GDP, are exploring a CBDC.

11 countries have already launched a digital currency including Nigeria and numerous Caribbean nations.

14 countries are testing pilot programs including South Korea, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, and China which is set to expand its use of the Digital Yuan in 2023.

PROOF people around the WORLD are WAKING UP to the far left

Glenn Beck Published September 26, 2022

Everybody can feel that something is wrong, Glenn says. And that’s not just in regard to American voters. No, people EVERYWHERE are beginning to wake up and realize that far-left, elite politicians in governments around the WORLD (and their partnerships with large corporations) are a danger to freedom, to democracy, and to our republic. In this video, Glenn proves these feelings aren’t just American. Watch to see Italy’s new Prime Minister speak passionately about the very same sentiment, three years ago, in a POWERFUL speech…

Apparent Sabotage Disables Nord Stream 1 and 2, Cutting Off All Direct Gas Supply to Germany from Russia

Anonymous German officials appear to acknowledge the strong possibility of American or NATO involvement

eugyppius

Yesterday evening, pressure in the undersea Nord Stream 2 pipeline suddenly collapsed, and gas could be seen bubbling to the surface of the Baltic Sea near the Danish island of Bornholm. Shortly afterwards, reports came of a total collapse in the pressure of our other major undersea pipeline connection to Russia, Nord Stream 1, indicating a further rupture.

Government officials assume that the damage is intentional, and the result of an attack by foreign forces:

Due to the timing, the fact that three separate pipelines were affected, and the severe pressure losses in Nord Stream 1, officials expect the worst. “We can no longer imagine any scenario other than a targeted attack,” said a person privy to the assessment by the federal government and federal authorities. They added: “Everything speaks against a coincidence.”

Such an attack on the seabed would be anything but trivial; it would have to be carried out with special forces – for example, by navy divers or a submarine, people informed of initial assessments said.

With regard to responsibility for the alleged attacks, two possibilities are being discussed. First, according to initial speculation, Ukrainian or Ukrainian-affiliated forces could be responsible. With the temporary shutdown of the Nord Stream pipelines, gas deliveries from Russia to Germany and Central Europe would only be possible via the Yamal pipelinje running through Poland or the Ukrainian pipeline network.

The piece that I’ve bolded is of course a lightly disguised reference to the United States or NATO. This should surprise nobody: President Biden said in early February, that in the event of a Russian invasion, “there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2, we will bring an end to it.” It’s well within the realm of possibility that such an attack would’ve been carried with the tacit approval (or even upon the request) of the Scholz government, to relieve them of political pressure to open the pipelines as the economy continues to collapse into the winter. The Greens are in government here, and Green-adjacent journalists have gone so far as to demand the dismantling of the pipelines to hurt Putin, so this too is far from crazy.

The second scenario investigators are contemplating, according to press reports, is of course a “‘false flag’ operation by Russia,” carried out to “drive up the price of gas,” “exacerbate the European energy crisis” and “fuel additional uncertainty.” Russia will surely be blamed for the attack as soon as it is confirmed, I have no doubt of that.

The pipeline attacks come as a few prominent German politicians have demanded the opening of Nord Stream 2, and the subject has attracted a growing protest movement. Neither pipeline was currently transporting gas; Gazprom cut off supply to Nord Stream 1 at the end of August, citing maintenance issues exacerbated by EU sanctions, while the Scholz government refused to certify Nord Stream 2 following its completion in November 2021.

Obama Claims Racism to Suppress American Opposition to Biden’s Deadly Migration

NEIL MUNRO26 Sep 20221,556

Americans oppose President Joe Biden’s lawless and wage-cutting mass migration because they are racist, not because of their economic worries, according to former President Barack Obama.

“Right now, the biggest fuel behind the Republican agenda is related to immigration and the fear that somehow America’s character is going to be changed if, people of darker shades, there are too many of them here,” Obama told a meeting of Hispanic realtors on September 25 in San Diego, California.

Obama used his divide-and-rule claims of racism to hide the public opposition to migration’s economic impact, according to his comments posted in a September 25 report by the San Diego Union-Tribune:

I wish I could be more euphemistic about it except [they’re] not that subtle about it — they’re just kind of saying it,” Obama said. “You hear it on hard-right media, you hear it from candidates and politicians, you hear things like ‘great replacement theory’ — I mean, this is not subtle. Unless we’re able to return to a more inclusive vision inside the Republican Party, it’s going to be hard to get a bill done.

Obama also argued that public opposition to mass migration is more dangerous than government support for the nation-changing migration that has killed thousands of migrants and many more Americans:

When you have that kind of rhetoric floating around out there, we’ve seen in history that is dangerous rhetoric. It’s dangerous wherever it appears and it’s dangerous here in the United States.

1664261990611.png

Since January 2021, Biden and his pro-migration border chief have extracted roughly 3 million migrants from poor countries into the U.S. economy via the southern border, likely in violation of federal law.

They have also pulled more than 2 million legal immigrants, visa workers, and white-collar illegals via airports. That massive government-engineered migration has delivered at least one migrant for every two births since January 2021.

In 2013 and 2014, Obama and Biden used claims of racism to stigmatize Americans’ popular opposition to mass migration as they were trying to push the doomed “Gang of Eight” cheap-labor bill through Congress.

But that incendiary smear is contradicted by numerous polls which show the public wants to welcome some immigration — but also declares deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into the good jobs U.S. graduates need to raise families.

This “Third Railopposition is growing, anti-establishment, multiracial, cross-sex, non-racist, class-based, bipartisan, rational, persistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

For example, almost half of Hispanics, blacks, and Asians believe Biden’s global invite has created an “invasion” of migrants, says a July poll by Ipsos. The “invasion” view is mainstream: 58 percent of white Americans — and 40 percent of Democrats — say Biden’s global invite is an invasion, according to data released on August 19 by Ipsos.

The public’s opposition to mass migration is rational because migration imposes vast economic and civic burdens on ordinary Americans while it boosts wealthy and powerful Americans.

For example, migration spikes the cost of housing. That is great for realtors but is a huge burden for young couples seeking to buy a house for their families.

Immigration has increased California’s population by at least 33 percent, sharply increasing competition for good and poor housing amid fast-growing wealth inequality, drug addiction, and homelessness. In California, the median price of a house is $725,000, according to NeighborhoodScout.com. That price is three-and-a-half times as much as in 2020, the site says.

This impact of migration on housing prices is rarely mentioned in the corporate media. But pro-migration groups tout migration as a boon for real estate investors. For example, a 2017 report by the CATO Institute says the cost of illegal immigration could be reduced by cutting spending on border enforcement: “If the typical illegal immigrant increases the value of all housing unit prices by 11.5 cents, then illegal immigrants increase nationwide housing values by about $1 trillion.”

Nationwide, “in 2022, a full-time worker needs to earn an hourly wage of $25.82 on average to afford a modest, two-bedroom rental home,” according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition. Americans need to earn “$21.25 [an hour] to afford a modest, one-bedroom rental home,” the group added.

Similarly, migration flatlines Americans’ wages by minimizing pressure on companies to offer competitive wages or to invest in the productivity-boosting machinery that is needed to earn decent wages in a global economy.

For example, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that wages and salaries rose by 5.1 percent in the 12 months up to June 2022. But median wages declined because inflation rose by 8.1 percent in the 12 months up to August.

Federal immigration policy also pulls wealth from heartland states toward coastal states. This happens because the coastal investors in New York and California who might be tempted to hire employees in distant and inconvenient heartland states know that the federal government’s Extraction Migration strategy delivers a preferable supply of grateful, reliable, and cheap workers to downtown bus stations each day.

The mass migration has also given employers an easy excuse to not hire marginalized Americans, including those who are on drugs.

The mass inflow has also given wealthy progressives a dependent population to display their charity toward — while they carefully sideline many millions of poor Americans who might vote against progressive power. This elite’s growing disregard for ordinary Americans comes amid the rising “Deaths of Despair” and the death of more than 100,000 Americans in 2021 from drug overdoses.

This dismissal of Americans is often framed as the claim that the American economy is dependent on immigrants, despite the many millions of Americans who have been sidelined by government policy. But many progressives also praise immigration because it helps to replace Americans and their society.

“The phenomenon of [population] replacement, writ large, is America, and has been from the beginning, sometimes by force, mostly by choice,” according to Bret Stephens, a New York Times columnist. “What the far right calls ‘replacement’ is better described as renewal,” he wrote in May.

Democrats and their progressive supporters are also trying to shift the blame away from Biden’s government toward the businesses that manage the economic side of the strategy.

Donor-backed Republican leaders try to hide the pocketbook pain of migration by redirecting public opposition toward the crime caused by illegal migration.

But that blame-shifting is difficult because of the public’s natural solidarity with their fellow Americans:

Italians Vote in Election that May Overturn EU Order

JACK MONTGOMERY25 Sep 20223,853

Italians are voting Sunday in an election which could change the face of the European Union, with a right-populist coalition of anti-mass migration, eurosceptic parties tipped to win a parliamentary majority.

Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy (FdI), Matteo Salvini’s League (Lega), and three-time former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italy are tipped by pollsters to come out on top in Sunday’s election, paving the way for the first government in a national conservative vein similar to Poland and Hungary in Western Europe.

All three party leaders are eurosceptics, if not open “Italeavers” — the Italian version of Brexiteers — with even the relatively centre-right Berlusconi, 85, having hardened his stance on the EU after senior officials, in his view, successfully conspired to have him ousted as premier in 2011, with a technocratic government headed by Mario Monti, a former European Commissioner, replacing his without an election.

The right-populist coalition last ran for office in 2018, but the breakout stars of that election were the left-populist Five Star Movement (M5S).

Salvini’s League, which came in second, ultimately formed a coalition government with M5S, with Salvini taking up the post of Minister of the Interior and drastically reducing illegal immigration — and, consequently, drownings — by, for the most part, closing Italy’s ports to NGOs operating migrant transport ships in the Mediterranean.

This government had collapsed by 2019, however, the M5S replacing the League with the left-establishment Democratic Party (PD) — a coalition which allowed illegal immigration to soar once again before it also collapsed amid the fallout of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, giving rise to a technocratic government.

Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy, the weakest party of the right-wing coalition in 2018, securing under five per cent of the vote, was the only coalition member — indeed, the only major party in Italian politics as a whole — to oppose this technocratic government, and in particular the harsh restrictions and mandates imposed on the unvaccinated, which Meloni denounced as “state blackmail”.

Consequently, the Brothers’ popularity has soared, and it is expected to become the country’s largest single party by vote share.

1664263243190.png

More broadly, the Brothers of Italy campaign on a national conservative platform, with the Trump-like slogan ‘Italy and Italians First’ joining the more traditional ‘God, Homeland, Family’ as its key pitch to voters.

Meloni, like Salvini, favours firm action against illegal immigration, the defence and promotion of the nation’s Christian character and identity in the face of “Islamisation” and “nihilistic globalist elites, driven by international finance,” regulating against Big Tech censorship, and a Hungary-like series of tax cuts to support family formation as a means to reverse demographic decline — Italy has more over-80s and over-65s than any country in Europe — without resorting to open borders.

One possible area of tension within the right-wing coalition could be the Russo-Ukrainian war, with Berlusconi and Salvini seen as sympathetic to Russia, if not the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Berlusconi, who cultivated a close personal relationship with Vladimir Putin as premier which he maintained following his ouster, recently suggested that the Russian leader had been “pushed” into attempting to “replace the Zelensky government with decent people” by generals and other influential figures within the Russian establishment.

Salvini, concerned by the impact of the energy crisis on ordinary Italians, has meanwhile suggested easing back on participation in the Russo-Western sanctions war if it appears to be inflicting more self-harm than damage to Putin.

Meloni, however, has kept up a consistently firm line against the Kremlin since its general invasion of Ukraine in February.

1664263288268.png

The prospect of Italy, a founder-member of the European Union’s predecessor organisations, pursuing a pro-sovereignty, anti-mass migration model of governance has spooked many in the European Union establishment, with Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, threatening that “f things go in a difficult direction, I’ve spoken about Hungary and Poland, we have tools.”

However, while Italy does not enjoy the influence of France and Germany, the EU’s dominant member-states, in Brussels, it is significantly larger than the Central European countries in terms of not only its economy and population but also its share of representation within the EU institutions, and — supported by the conservative governments of those Central European countries — it will likely prove much harder to try and corral.

“These are disgusting words, the threatening tone is unacceptable,” said Salvini of the Commission president’s implied threat, adding that his party would be proposing a measure of censure against the German.

The technocrat-in-chief attempted to row back in short order, with a spokesman claiming it was “absolutely clear that the President did not intervene in the Italian elections” — although even the left-establishment Matteo Renzi, which is opposing Meloni and her partners in said elections, seemed to think otherwise.

“I tell the President, you must not enter into Italian issues in the slightest,” said the former prime minister, even as he said that his party was “for the United States of Europe”.

Marco Rubio: Communist Repressors ‘Throwing Parties’ in U.S. and Biden Does Nothing

FRANCES MARTEL26 Sep 20220

Regime thugs from Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela who brutalized dissidents at home are living off of government benefits in America and “no official process exists” to identify and deport them, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said in an interview this weekend.

Rubio said that his office had compiled “many lists, many names” of individuals who served to help the communist and socialist regimes of those countries remain in power by committing human rights atrocities, only to turn around and claim political asylum in the United States, but the administration of leftist President Joe Biden had done nothing with the information. He suggested that former President Donald Trump was working on creating a process for denouncing potential spies and human rights abusers but had run out of time before Biden’s inauguration.

The senator noted that the issue of human rights criminals abusing American government benefits, and even sending U.S. aid money home to their anti-American regimes, had worsened dramatically as the situation on the southern border has grown more chaotic.

Rubio discussed the issue on the Spanish-language podcast Somos los Pichy Boys in an episode published this weekend. The Pichy Boys, Alejandro Gonzalez and Maikel Rodriguez, are Cuban-American comedians and media personalities based in Miami who have dedicated much of their careers to advocating against communism, particularly in their home countries.

“Nicaraguans will tell you … a person who a year and a half ago was a repressor is here now living as if nothing happened. They even get together, throw parties, feasts, and everything else,” Rubio told the podcasters. “These people who a year and a half ago were in the street beating people with sticks are here now living and receiving benefits from the government. That is the worst of the worst of everything, receiving benefits because now they are ‘refugees’ and can receive all sorts of benefits.”

“A year ago they were shouting ‘Yanqui get out!’ and now they are receiving benefits and even, with those benefits, sending money and products to Cuba,” Rubio said.

Nicaragua and Cuba are communist regimes; allied Venezuela identifies itself as “Bolivarian socialist.” All three dictatorships regularly use violence against suspected or open dissidents, disappear dissidents into kafkaesque prison systems, and use internet surveillance to track anyone they may consider a threat. Nicolás Maduro’s Venezuela, in particular, has a record of murdering children who joined protests. In Cuba, children as young as 11 years old have suffered public police beatings; children imprisoned in the July 11, 2021, protests have accused Cuban police of sexual assault.

Many of those committing these atrocities in the name of the regime, Rubio asserted, now live freely in America.

As senator for Florida, a state with one of the country’s largest Hispanic populations, Rubio explained that his office has many constituents that denounce new neighbors that they recognize as former police officers, soldiers, or other repressors who beat and abused anti-socialist dissidents at home.

“That process [of identifying and removing human rights abusers] does not exist at the moment. You can send me information to my office and we have a list. Many lists, many names,” Rubio said. “You send that to the Department of Homeland Security, you don’t hear anything else.”

The senator described Latin America generally as “not a priority” to the Biden administration, making it impossible to streamline a process to remove repressors. He noted that human rights abusers from other countries do not enjoy the privilege of living in America unquestioned: “You can’t come here from Iran to present yourself tomorrow without a check.”

“There has to be a list here of who these people are. A system that we have tried [to put together] also through the State Department and we are progressing. That was one of the ideas we had. But then with this new administration, it isn’t a priority to make it so people can denounce,” Rubio explained. “There are cases of this here for years. But now, obviously, we have seen more people coming in and without a doubt that among those people are people who lent themselves to that type of thing.”

The senator expressed hope that, “if there is a change in administration in the future, something could be done.”

He also noted that the situation is not just an offense to true refugees of communist regimes, but a national security issue for the United States.

“Cuba is an ally of Russia, ally of China, ally of Iran and Venezuela,” he explained. “So what happens is that the number one interest that Cuba has is to influence American policy towards Cuba. But if the Russians or the Chinese ask, ‘hey, you guys have capacity, can you help us with this?’ they do it, either because they get paid to do it or because it is in their interest that these people send them money.”

Rubio has been warning about supporters of the Venezuelan regime, in particular, living freely in the United States for nearly a decade. In 2014, the senator warned that Venezuelan oligarchs with ties to Maduro were openly showing off “gold-plated iPads” and living in mansions in Miami as Maduro beat and tortured anti-socialist protesters at home.

Elsewhere in the interview this weekend, Rubio also discussed the situation at the U.S. southern border generally, calling it “total disorder” and a significant threat to the United States.

“They are letting people in here that we don’t know who they are and if a thousand people come in, let’s say 100, 99 of those are decent people who simply are looking for a better life,” Rubio said, “but one is a terrorist, a thug, a criminal from when they emptied a prison in Venezuela – that individual could kill or murder. Just one person could do terrible harm and we don’t know.”

The senator appeared to be referencing a Breitbart News report revealing that the Department of Homeland Security had instructed Border Patrol to be aware that Maduro had been emptying prisons of their most violent convicts and sending the prisoners up to the United States through migrant caravans.

Rubio emphasized that opposition to the “total disorder” at the border was not xenophobic on the part of those seeking to properly process migrants. He also addressed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s decision to ship 50 mostly Venezuelan migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, a luxury beach destination in Massachusetts, noting that the objective of the move was to expose the “hypocrisy” of left-wing supporters of open borders.

“They sent I believe 48, let’s say 50 people. They got to Martha’s Vineyard, immediately, the state with 50 people declares a humanitarian emergency,” Rubio recalled. “With 50 people, which is what comes in in five minutes.”

“I have 50 cousins that have come here,” Gonzalez, the podcast cohost, joked.

“So what needs to be asked is, if you want all these people to come in, who is going to pay for all that?” Rubio asked. “Because there is a cost associated with all that. But it’s a total lack of control. This isn’t immigration, its total disorder.”
