The Biden administration is working to end hunger and “diet-related diseases” by hiring more minority nutritionists, according to a White House plan released Monday.

The administration says that hiring more non-white registered dietitian nutritionists will help minority communities that experience higher rates of “food insecurity,” obesity and type 2 diabetes, according to the White House National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. The Health Resources and Services Administration will begin collaborating with Minority Serving Institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities in 2023 to recruit and train a diverse crop of nutrition experts as part of the White House’s plan.

“A more diverse health care workforce would better serve communities of color, which suffer from higher rates of food insecurity and diet-related disease,” the memo states. “Patients are less likely to seek care or share information if they perceive ethnic or social differences with their health care providers.”

The White House claims that increasing the number of black, hispanic and Native American nutritionists will make sure dietary healthcare is more “equitable,” according to the document. The Biden administration claims that 70% of registered nutritionists are white while 1% are Native American, 3% are black and 6% are Native American, citing a survey conducted by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2021.

“The healthcare workforce, including registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), plays a central role in preventing, treating, and managing diet-related diseases,” the plan states.

The Department of Agriculture (USDA) will work with Land-Grant Universities such as Tuskegee University to further “diversity, equity and inclusion” as well as “cultural competency” among government workers who develop the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), according to the plan. Such provisions are part of President Joe Biden’s plan to end hunger and increase healthy eating by 2030 to prevent diet-related diseases.

The White House did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

The CIA warned Germany of possible attacks on the twin Nord Stream pipelines weeks ago, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing German-language Der Spiegel.

On Monday, Danish authorities discovered a leak in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Baltic Sea carrying gas from Russia to Germany. Later on Tuesday, Swedish maritime officials warned of two leaks on the parallel Nord Stream 1, sparking suspicions of sabotage among many European governments that may have been fueled by the earlier CIA warning, according to the reporting from Reuters and Der Spiegel.

“It is now the clear assessment by authorities that these are deliberate actions. It was not an accident,” Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said at a press briefing in Copenhagen Tuesday, Reuters reported.

“There is no information yet to indicate who may be behind this action,” she added.

Publicly, Germany, Denmark and Russia had suggested sabotage as a highly likely explanation, but expressed caution about coming to a definitive conclusion. Poland’s prime minister immediately attributed the leaks to an “act of sabotage, related to the next step of escalation of the situation in Ukraine,” according to Reuters.

Radek Sikorski, a member of the European Parliament representing Poland, voiced his thanks to the U.S. in response to the attacks. The context for his statement was not immediately clear.



The European Union had also ruled out attributing Russian sabotage and said it was too early to speculate on the possible cause, Reuters reported.

However, German officials suspected a deliberate attack on the pipelines, according to Business Insider.

“We can’t imagine a scenario that isn’t a targeted attack. Everything speaks against a coincidence,” a German government source told Business Insider.

The leaks occurred in international waters that overlapped Sweden’s and Denmark’s exclusive economic zones, Reuters reported.

The Nord Stream pipelines formed a critical energy link between Russia and the rest of Europe, becoming the subject of political tensions after Russia invaded Ukraine in February. Germany halted construction on Nord Stream 2 in February in light of Russia’s imminent invasion, but the pipeline still contained pressurized gas.

Russian-controlled operators have slowly suspended gas deliveries from Nord Stream 1, allegedly in response to Western sanctions, leaving Europe without an abundant source of energy as winter approaches.

Frederiksen said the attacks should not constitute a military threat, but local authorities have warned ships and aircraft to avoid the area of the leaks, according to Reuters.

Norway had warned Monday of unidentified drone activity near oil and gas installations in the North Sea, just west of the Baltic, that could present a security threat, Reuters reported.

The CIA, Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service and the German government did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment. A German government spokesperson had declined to comment to Der Spiegel, according to Reuters.

President Joe Biden called on gas station owners to immediately lower gas prices because oil companies are “making record profits” during a White House meeting on Monday.

Biden said that the oil prices dropped last month and told gas station owners to bring down prices at the pump to reflect the drop. Biden also criticized the oil companies that run gas stations for profiting off increased fuel costs; however, gas stations make only a 10 to 15-cent profit per each gallon of gas that they sell, according to The National Association Of Convenience Stores.

“My message is simple … to the companies running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump: Bring down the prices you’re charging at the pump to reflect the cost you pay for the product,” Biden said. “Do it now.”

Biden touted his efforts to bring the price of gas down by $1.30 since June when the average gas price across the nation was more than $5 per gallon. Gas prices are currently on the rise after falling for 98 straight days, and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned on Sept. 11 that gas prices may increase during the winter months.

Gas prices are roughly 57 cents higher than they were in September 2021, according to AAA data.

The Biden administration has rapidly drained the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) since the end of March to bring down gas prices.

The White House wants to lower gas prices ahead of the midterm elections as it believes that prices at the pump directly affect voters’ perception of the economy, according to Politico. The administration will continue to release oil from the emergency stockpile past election day, according to a Department of Energy announcement.

The White House did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

The US military revealed Monday that earlier this month a US Coast Guard had ship embarked on a routine patrol in the Bering Sea and its crew was surprised to come across a Chinese PLA Navy guided missile cruiser.

But more rare and unexpected was that the Coast Guard soon discovered the Chinese ship wasn't alone as it sailed off Alaska's coast, but was accompanied by two additional Chinese military ships and four Russian naval vessels, including a destroyer. The Chinese-Russian patrol group was described as being "in single formation".

The Coast Guard in releasing a photo of the encounter stated, "The Coast Guard Cutter Kimball crew on a routine patrol in the Bering Sea encountered a People’s Republic of China Guided Missile Cruiser, Renhai CG 101, sailing approximately 75 nautical miles north of Kiska Island, Alaska, September 19, 2022."

According to more details by the Coast Guard and reported in the Associated Press:

The Honolulu-based Kimball, a 418-foot vessel, observed as the ships broke formation and dispersed. A C-130 Hercules provided air support for the Kimball from the Coast Guard station in Kodiak.

“While the formation has operated in accordance with international rules and norms, we will meet presence with presence to ensure there are no disruptions to U.S. interests in the maritime environment around Alaska,” said 17th Coast Guard District commander Rear Adm. Nathan Moore.

The reference to the "presence with presence" patrol strategy is a method of dissuading such enemy foreign vessels from coming near US waters by maintaining frequent naval and coast guard patrol activity.



This latest incident follows something similar a year ago, when in September 2021 Chinese ships were spotted by Coast Guard observers 50 miles off the Aleutian Islands. The Chinese and Russian navies have also been ramping up coordinated activity in the Sea of Japan and near Japanese islands, which Tokyo has protested as an unwarranted intrusion.

U.S. home prices cooled in July at the fastest rate in the history of the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index, according to a report released Tuesday.

Home prices in July were still higher than they were a year ago, but cooled significantly from June gains. Prices nationally rose 15.8% over July 2021, well below the 18.1% increase in the previous month, according to the report.

The 10-City composite, which tracks prices in major metropolitan areas such as New York and Boston, climbed 14.9% year over year, down from 17.4% in June. The 20-City composite, which adds regions such as the Seattle metro area and greater Detroit, gained 16.1%, down from 18.7% in the previous month. July’s year-over-year gains were lower compared with June in each of the cities covered by the index.

“July’s report reflects a forceful deceleration,” wrote Craig J. Lazzara, managing director at S&P DJI in a release, noting the difference in the annual gains in June and July. The 2.3 percentage point “difference between those two monthly rates of gain is the largest deceleration in the history of the index.”

Tampa, Florida, Miami and Dallas saw the highest annual gains among the 20 cities in July, with increases of 31.8%, 31.7% and 24.7%, respectively. Washington, D.C., Minneapolis and San Francisco saw the smallest gains, but were still well above year-ago levels.

Another recent report from the National Association of Realtors showed home prices softening dramatically from June to July. Prices usually fall during that time, due to the strong seasonality of the housing market, but the decline was three times the average decline historically.

The share of homes with price cuts reached about 20% in August, the same as in 2017, according to Realtor.com.

“For homeowners planning to list, today’s market is significantly different than the one from even 3 weeks ago,” said George Ratiu, senior economist and manager of economic research at Realtor.com.

Home prices are dropping because affordability has weakened dramatically due to fast-rising mortgage rates. The average rate on the popular 30-year fixed mortgage started this year around 3%, but by June had briefly surpassed 6%. It remained in the high 5% range throughout July and is now edging toward 7%, making the average monthly payment about 70% higher than it was a year ago.

“As the Federal Reserve continues to move interest rates upward, mortgage financing has become more expensive, a process that continues to this day. Given the prospects for a more challenging macroeconomic environment, home prices may well continue to decelerate,” Lazzara said.

Renowned German economist, journalist, and author Ernst Wolff is confident: “This autumn has one motto: frontal attack on the middle class!” In an interview with AUF1 editor-in-chief Stefan Magnet, he discusses the outlines of the coming New World Order (a.k.a. “Build Back Better” scheme) outlined by the World Economic Forum Globalists.

Will we see the grand finale of the Great Reset this fall, or is it just another interlude? One thing is certain, warns Wolff, The Great Reset will be handled brutally, and all people who have created or saved anything will now be in dire straits.

He paints a big picture by pointing out that giant corporations and the state can swallow the current price increases. But the entrepreneurial middle class and the citizens are getting into big trouble. And that, according to Wolff, is definitely part of the plan. It is supposed to lead to escalation and panic.

Because in the end, citizens are supposed to beg for a new monetary system and a digital basic income, digital central bank money with a social credit system. “They will even want to sell this to us as a humanitarian act in the end,” Wolff said.

In a short clip from Wolff’s interview, he exposes how portable electronic devices such as cell phones or other portable computers will allow Globalists to implement their digital money, social credit, and universal surveillance schemes.

Wolff explains that people will become unemployed, and the government will issue wallets. Although these wallets will be money on your cell phone, “it’s nothing more than an app that serves as your own account,” states Wolff.

With that, you’re connected directly to the central bank. In this account, you’ll maybe have 1,000 or 2,000 Euros. The most important aspect is that the central bank has the possibility to apply individually adapted taxation, individual interest rates and instant penalization charges.

This also means they’ll cut off all cash flows or place a 3-week expiration date on your money. Money will have an expiration date. In addition to that, at some point, it will be possible to add to this money a social credit system adapted from the Chinese model. That, of course, would be a very dangerous development.

In the past, one would have had to look to the U.S. to see what was in store for us in a few years, explains Wolff.. But now we have to look to China because they are preparing what is planned for us. However, global power, he said, lies neither with Washington nor Beijing: “The power lies with the digital-financial complex.” When the global banking system allied itself with the big data corporations, a global superpower emerged, the likes of which had never been seen before.

On September 1st, President Biden stood on a stage at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall and delivered what is now known as his “red wall” speech. Flanked by two U.S. marines, with the backdrop bathed in ominous deep blood red light, it was reminiscent of a horror show more than an address to a heavily divided nation from the seat of American freedom and independence.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” said Biden. “Now, I want to be very clear — very clear up front: Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology. But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.

“And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give the power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

Even mainstream liberal media called the President out on the setting, the use of the military, and his message, which in one stroke demonized any voter who does not vote for the liberal left and certainly all those who identify as MAGA Republicans.

Diana West, a widely syndicated columnist, former CNN contributor, best-selling author, and Yale graduate, has much to say about the “battle for the soul of a nation” speech. She recently shared her perspective in an exclusive interview with RAIR Foundation USA.

“We can look at the rhetoric of this speech, which was disgraceful, but I think that what we are really looking at is the endless assault against Americans by the UniParty. By that, I mean The Establishment – Republicans and Democrats – and their goal to destroy America.”

Biden’s speech captured attention due to its strange red backdrop and military presence – somehow redolent of Maoist China and his Little Red Book – but also because of the divisive message he shared. “It was a sinister speech and dangerous because it’s demonizing a sector of lawful citizenry of the U.S. It also seemed like there was a lot of messaging going on to the rest of the world,” said West.

When Biden made this speech and referred to “violent MAGA Republicans,” he was referring to the January 6th protestors. “When you take a step back, this is an attempt to demonize the lawful President and his followers,” says West, “because this is not a legitimate presidency. It’s a travesty that this person occupies the White House. We don’t know who is in charge of this country, but it’s certainly not Biden.”

But worse, Says West, is what has happened to January 6th protestors. “You can’t look at this speech in a vacuum. One of the tactics of revolutionaries is to cut off context,” she says. And that is what Biden did. He demonized this group of people, despite the fact that the FBI, “the modern-day Gestapo in the USA,” says West, bragged about their extensive investigation and persecution of January 6th defendants. “There’s now up to 1,000 and still counting. It was a day of reckoning.”

What so many people don’t understand, according to West, is that Congress paused the electoral college count for Biden to be the victor because there were so many state legislators who were officially asking Congress to pause the ratification of that count.

“There are scores of people in pre-trial detention in conditions that resemble a Soviet Gulag,” says West. “Jeffrey McKellop, a 22-year military veteran, has been in prison for 18 months before trial, most of it in solitary confinement. That is a human rights catastrophe.”

There is, even in America, the Nelson Mandela rule, which states that no prisoner can be kept in solitary confinement for more than 15 days. Less than two weeks ago we cited Freddie Mac according to which the average 30 year US mortgage just rose above 6% for the first time since 2008, with real-estate brokerage Redfin commemorating the move by saying that "This Is The Sharpest Turn In The Housing Market Since The 2008 Crash." Well, just a few days later, Jeff Gundlach was so kind to point out this evening...



...that the national average 30 year mortgage rate just soared above 7.0%, hitting 7.08% and the highest since December 11, 2000.



This was the fastest 1% increase in mortgage rates in history; and the fact that it took place inside of a month is even more remarkable.



There is nothing we can add here that isn't self-explanatory, and that we haven't said already, like for example the fastest ever collapse in YoY Case-Shiller prices, as well as the first sequential drop in 112 years...



... not to mention that the typical home now sells for less than the asking price...



... but what is perhaps most remarkable is that according to the Altanta Fed, as of a few weeks ago, the median American household would needed to spend 44.5% of their income to afford payments on a median-priced home in the US, the highest percentage on record with data going back to 2006.



Well, as of today, that number is just over 50%. That's right: more than half of the average US household's income goes to paying housing payments, nearly double what this number was just two years ago.

That such a move can't end in anything but tears is obvious to everyone... but the Fed, which still thinks it can somehow avoid the most destructive of hard landings.

Oil Prices Are About To Reverse Course

“That would be the road to hell for America,” JP Morgan’s CEO Jamie Dimon said last week, referring to a suggestion that all big banks divest from the oil and gas industry. In the same week, Aramco’s chief executive warned that years of underinvestment in new oil production are beginning to bear fruit, which is an undersupplied market.

Despite these statements that suggested oil prices should move higher, oil fell for much of the week. Yet it wasn’t dragged down by fundamentals. Oil prices are down because many traders and investors are bracing for a recession.

The bad news is that even in a recession, oil prices can go higher, and this is exactly what some of those banks that kept JP Morgan company at last week’s Congress hearing expected.

Actually, JP Morgan was one of the bullish forecasters. Last week, the banking major’s analysts wrote in a note that they expected Brent crude to rebound to $101 in the fourth quarter. The analysts cited tighter supply as the reason for their forecast.

Goldman Sachs is even more bullish. Three weeks ago, the bank’s analysts said Brent could hit $125 next year despite the oil price cap touted by the G7 as a tool both for keeping the market supplied with Russian oil and for lowering prices. They remain bullish to date.

Morgan Stanley is a little more modest in its price expectations, seeking Brent crude at $95 per barrel in the last quarter of the year. It’s worth noting that this is a downward revision of the bank’s price outlook for the fourth quarter, which happened two weeks ago, prompted by growing recession fears.

UBS also revised down its price expectations earlier this month, again citing recession concerns as well as the continued flow of Russian oil to Asian importers. That downward revision, however, brought Brent to $110, with analysts noting it could rise to $125 by the end of the third quarter of 2023.

The reasons that the Swiss bank gave for the expected rebound are as interesting as they are worrying. According to UBS, oil prices wouldn’t rebound because of a recovering global economy. They would rebound because of the greater demand for oil products for electricity generation and because of tighter overall markets as the U.S. ends its SPR oil sale program.

During the current quarter, oil prices have slumped by 20 percent, Bloomberg noted in a report on bank forecasts about its price. The reason, once again, had nothing to do with supply and demand dynamics. It had a lot to do with central bank policies and specifically the Fed’s aggressive move to rein in inflation by a quick succession of rate hikes that have pushed the dollar a lot higher, making commodities priced in the currency more expensive.

On the fundamental front, the G7 is pushing ahead with the oil price cap, even though Russia said that it would simply not sell oil to a country enforcing a price cap. The EU, for its part, is currently discussing yet another package of sanctions against Moscow following the news that four eastern Ukrainian regions would be holding referendums to join the Russian Federation.

Meanwhile, OPEC+ keeps falling well short of its production targets, and this will likely continue. In addition, some analysts expect the cartel to implement more production cuts, further squeezing global supply.

In the U.S., inventories in the strategic petroleum reserve are at the lowest in decades, and this has worried some. Others, like Robert Rapier, have pointed out that the SPR is not as vital for the country’s supply as it used to be decades ago when the U.S. was heavily dependent on oil imports.

What the above suggests is what Aramco’s Nasser warned about last week. The oil market is not in balance, and supply is getting tighter because there is little in the way of new supply to make up for natural depletion, which has been accompanied by other factors such as political instability and U.S. sanctions on large producers.

At the same time, with the EU tightening the sanction screws on Russia, chances are that gas prices will remain elevated, which will result in what UBS noted as one factor for higher oil prices: greater demand for fuels to use in the generation of electricity instead of even costlier natural gas.

“The consequence of global inventory drawdowns is that once demand picks up, the upshot in prices will happen all over again,” Morgan Stanley global oil strategist Martijn Rats told Bloomberg. “For now, demand has taken a step back, but the supply picture hasn’t changed that much; the supply ceiling is not that far away at all. As soon as demand picks up, we will have the same price pressures in the market again.”

In a nutshell, this is the ultimate reason why oil prices will likely soon be on their way back up. Supply growth is stalling while demand is about to pick up. And depending on how strongly it picks up, we could see a lot higher oil prices next year.

France’s Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, stated during an interview that the EU intends to scrutinise the actions of the Italy’s first woman PM.

“In Europe, we have a set of values and, of course, we will be mindful that these values are respected by everyone when it comes to human rights and the right to abortion,” Borne proclaimed.

Globally, it’s even worse because some countries had higher vaccination rates. What we are seeing now, 91 or 92 weeks since the vaccination program started, is rising disability. Everyone focuses on the deaths, and that’s bad, but disability is multiples of the deaths, and these are disabilities where people can’t work. They are incapacitated.

Three million people disappeared from the labor force from death and disability. That number will cause labor shortages. That number will cause supply chain breaks, and we are seeing that. Here on Maui, my car got injured in an accident, and I am not going to get it fixed for six months because of parts and labor shortages on Maui. . . . There are some predictions I make that I hope I am dead wrong. This is not one I want to be right on. I think, personally, that Hell on Earth has already started, and it’s going to start to accelerate. What I mean by that is we are going to be overwhelmed by people being disabled and dying at such a rate we have a breakdown in the supply chain and basic necessities that we used to take for granted. They just won’t be there because there are not enough people to deliver goods and services.

This is where I hope I am dead wrong, but my own anecdotal situations is I see a lot of people who took the vax a year ago and the problems are just now starting to show up. This makes me very, very frightened.”

On the economic front, Dowd says, “I have talked about this extensively, and a sovereign debt collapse is inevitable. The way you know it’s occurring is watching the U.S. dollar index. That is accelerating to the upside, and the dollar is going to fail up. They will eventually try to introduce a new currency.

It will be central bank digital currency or something. The dollar is 113 on the U.S. dollar index, and it was 104 this summer. So, this is a big, big problem. It’s causing debt defaults globally. It’s causing margin calls. I think we are seeing the greatest ever margin call ever seen in the history of the world unfolding before our eyes. What I have been telling people since January and February is we are going into a global economic death spiral. I told people to raise cash in their portfolio . . . I also think gold should be a good part of your portfolio, but don’t have all your eggs in one basket.”

In closing, Dowd warns, “80% of the country thinks everything is fine. It’s not fine, and the global crash is already in progress.”

he Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is funding a Clinton Health Access Initiative aimed at making developing countries reliant on China for healthcare and medical products, The National Pulse can reveal.

The Microsoft co-founder’s foundation authorized a $560,021 grant to the Clinton Health Access Initiative in September, which will run for 18 months.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative was originally a part of the controversial Clinton Foundation started by former President Bill Clinton but spun off into a separate organization in 2010 though Chelsea Clinton – the daughter of the former president and his wife Hillary – joined the initiative’s board in 2011.

The purpose of the grant is “to leverage manufacturing capabilities in China to increase supply security and enhance the supply of key health commodities in low- and middle-income countries.”

While the foundation omitted any further details on how the objective would be accomplished, the grant will likely boost China’s manufacturing capabilities and make countries reliant on the communist nation for “key” healthcare items.

The grant comes amidst China rolling out its controversial “Belt and Road” initiative, a key component of the regime’s efforts to expand its control globally through predatory infrastructure loans.

As the U.S. State Department has warned, Beijing “uses the Belt and Road Initiative and other undertakings to expand foreign markets for Chinese companies and as a means of drawing nations, particularly their political and economic elites, into Beijing’s geopolitical orbit.”

China has been accused of using similar tactics amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, engaging in “healthcare diplomacy” to broaden its influence over developing countries. Products manufactured in the country also often have poor efficacy and are tainted with toxic chemicals.

The Gates Foundation grant appears to aid the Chinese Communist Party’s ambitions to intertwine itself within the healthcare infrastructure of countries across the world.


The unearthed grant follows Bill Gates’s long history of working with the Chinese Communist Party on business and philanthropic ventures. His foundation appears to demonstrate a similar affinity for the Communist regime, sending sizable grants to additional Chinese entities, including those with ties to the lab believed to be the birthplace of COVID-19.

14 Things We Know About the Mysterious “Explosions” That Severely Damaged the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 Pipelines​

Something really strange just happened. On Monday, large underwater “explosions” were detected in the precise areas of the sea where the Nord Stream pipeline system is now leaking. In fact, the explosions were so large that they actually registered on the Richter scale. If someone wanted to purposely damage the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, very large explosions would be needed because those pipelines are extremely thick. So it appears that this was a deliberate act of sabotage, and that is what many European officials are now alleging. But if that is the case, who was behind it?
At this point we just don’t know.

But there are certain facts that we do have. The following are 14 things we know about the “mysterious explosions” that severely damaged the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines…

#1 We are being told that the sections where the pipelines were damaged are “70-90 meters below sea level”. So someone would need to go down pretty deep to get to them.

#2 It is extremely unlikely that these pipelines could have been ruptured by accident because they are extremely thick…

The steel pipe itself has a wall of 4.1 cm (1.6 inches) and is coated with steel-reinforced concrete up to 11cm thick. Each section of the pipe weighs 11 tonnes, which goes to 24-25 tonnes after the concrete is applied.

#3 It is being reported that explosions “were heard” in the areas where gas is now leaking out of the pipelines…

Explosions were heard near the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipes where gas is now leaking into the Baltic from three holes, scientists have confirmed, while chronic safety concerns have led to a five-mile exclusion zone being imposed around the affected area.

#4 The Swedish National Seismic Network detected one explosion that registered 1.9 on the Richter scale and another one that registered 2.3 on the Richter scale…

Two powerful underwater explosions were detected on Monday in the same area of sea as the Nord Stream gas leaks, according to the Swedish National Seismic Network.

The monitoring network said the first explosion occurred on Monday at 2:03 a.m. Swedish time with a magnitude of 1.9 on the Richter scale, followed by a second at 7:04 p.m. on the same day with a magnitude of 2.3.

#5 The largest leak is reportedly “spreading bubbles a good kilometre (3,280ft) in diameter”…

It comes after shocking footage released earlier today by the Danish military from a flyover of the affected region showed huge swathes of the sea near the Danish island of Bornholm churning as the gas bubbled to the surface.

A military statement claimed that the largest leak ‘is spreading bubbles a good kilometre (3,280ft) in diameter. The smallest is creating a circle about 200 metres (656 feet) in diameter’, while the head of Denmark’s Energy Agency said it could take up to a week for gas to stop draining into the sea.

#6 German officials are claiming that this was a deliberate act of sabotage…

Germany is reportedly far less hesitant, however, with officials believing sabotage is virtually the only plausible cause for the leaks.

“We can’t imagine a scenario that isn’t a targeted attack. Everything speaks against a coincidence,” a government official reportedly told German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.

#7 Interestingly, this incident took place just one day after thousands of German protesters took to the streets and demanded the opening of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline…

Thousands of protesters took to the streets in the northeastern German seaside town of Lubmin on Sunday, urging officials to put into service the halted Nord Stream 2 pipeline project that was designed to transport fuel from Russia to Germany.

Germany had stalled the launch of the ambitious energy project for months before putting it on the back burner in the wake of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, which is now in its eighth month.

#8 The prime minister of Denmark also believes that this was a deliberate act of sabotage…

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has said her government believes the leaks were caused by ‘deliberate actions’, adding that the gas supply pipeline will be out of action for around a week.

She said this evening: ‘It is now the clear assessment by authorities that these are deliberate actions. It was not an accident. There is no information yet to indicate who may be behind this action.’

#9 The Ukrainians are blaming the Russians for the explosions…

It comes after Kyiv’s presidential advisor Mikhaylo Podolyak said on Twitter: ‘The large-scale gas leak is nothing more than a terrorist attack planned by Russia and an act of aggression towards the EU.’

Podolyak accused Russia of seeking to ‘destabilise the economic situation in Europe and cause pre-winter panic’.

#10 It is being reported that the CIA recently warned Germany about a potential attack on the pipelines…

German magazine Spiegel said the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) recently warned Berlin about the increasing signs of a possible planned attack on the Nord Stream pipeline system.

Spiegel reported, citing unnamed sources, that the CIA tipped off Berlin in the summer about possible attacks on NS1 and NS2.

#11 A Polish member of the European Parliament seems absolutely convinced that the United States was behind the attack…

A former Polish Defense Minister, Radek Sikorski, has attributed to the United States the sabotage of two pipelines, Nord Stream 1 and 2, which carry natural gas from Russia to Germany. “Thank you, USA,” Sikorski wrote on Twitter.

Sikorski was Minister of National Defense from 2005 – 2007 and served as Deputy Minister of National Defense and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, previously. He is currently an elected member of the European parliament.

Nord Stream 1 and 2 lie on the bed of the Baltic Sea. Nord Stream 2 was finished last year but Germany never opened it because Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

#12 Joe Biden previously threatened to “end” the Nord Stream 2 pipeline if Russia invaded Ukraine: “If Russia invades…then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”

#13 Victoria Nuland has also previously threatened the Nord Stream 2 pipeline: “If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.”

#14 Meanwhile, European officials just gathered for a ceremony “to mark the opening of the new Baltic Pipe”

Leaders from Poland, Norway and Denmark have attended a ceremony to mark the opening of the new Baltic Pipe, a key stage in the drive to wean Poland and Europe off Russian gas.

The pipeline will transport natural gas from the Norwegian shelf via Denmark and through the Baltic Sea to Poland. It is the centrepiece of a Polish strategy to diversify away from Russia that began years before Moscow’s February invasion of Ukraine triggered a global energy crisis.

The flows from Norway along with supplies via liquefied gas terminals are central to Poland’s plan. The country was cut off from Russian gas supplies in April, allegedly for refusing to pay in roubles.

So what does all of this mean?
I don’t know.
But this certainly is not going to be good for the rapidly growing energy crisis in Europe.

It is going to be a bitterly cold winter all over the continent, and there will be a lot of anger.

As I keep warning, the comfortable lifestyles that we are all currently enjoying will soon be rudely interrupted

Everything is changing, and a lot of pain is on the horizon.

So I would encourage you to monitor global events very, very closely in the months ahead, because they are going to have very serious implications for every man, woman and child on the entire planet.

Not all open-borders subversives hide behind black bandanas and hurl Molotov cocktails. Sometimes, they wear three-piece suits or silk dresses. Most insidiously, the saboteurs of American justice wear black robes, wield gavels and enlist other officers of the court to help them perpetrate crimes instead of punish them.

Nothing shocks me anymore after 30 years of covering immigration anarchy, but my disgust with American apathy toward the erosion of this once-sovereign nation deepens every day. Take the case of United States v. Shelley M. Richmond Joseph and Wesley MacGregor. She's the Massachusetts state court judge and he's the former court deputy who collaborated to hide and free an illegal alien criminal being sought by a federal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Joseph's Newton, Massachusetts, courthouse in 2018.

A year later, federal prosecutors charged these two government human traffickers with obstruction of justice after they conspired to let Dominican national Oscar Manuel Peguero a.k.a. Jose Medina-Perez—a fugitive who had been wanted on narcotics possession and drunk driving, had been deported twice before and had been barred from reentering under federal law—out a back door when ICE issued a detainer and warrant of removal.

Judge Joseph's lawyers admitted the truth of prosecutors' allegations on how she "purposefully" helped Peguero/Medina-Perez "evade" the ICE agent by "concocting a ruse." While informing the federal agent that the illegal alien would be sent to the courthouse lobby, she cooked up an excuse for him to head "downstairs to lockup" and "then exit the courthouse through a rear sally-port exit." Joseph directed MacGregor to "go off the record while she devised" the scheme with the illegal alien's counsel. "After the recorder was turned back on and the alleged plan was set in motion, Deputy MacGregor used his access card to swipe" Peguero/Medina-Perez out the back portal.

Although he was captured a few weeks after the catch-and-release ruse in Newton, Peguero/Medina-Perez was granted bond by an immigration judge in May 2018. The previous double deportee was entrusted to return for a hearing in July 2019. I asked ICE this week about the status of that deportation hearing and Peguero/Medina-Perez's whereabouts. Cue the sound of crickets.

Once again, the woke joke's on us. Last week, three years after their illegal alien jailbreak conspiracy, Joseph and MacGregor learned they are getting off scot-free. U.S. Attorney Zachary Cunha announced that the U.S. Department of Injustice is dropping its charges against the scheming judge and deferring prosecution on the single perjury charge against her co-conspirator deputy.

Joseph's transgressions will now undergo "review" by a state judicial conduct commission. As a Reuters investigation reported, such toothless panels nationwide tend to "err on the side of protecting the rights and reputations of judges while overlooking the impact courtroom wrongdoing has on those most affected by it."

Translation: If you're an American citizen whose loved one gets mowed down by a drunken Peguero/Medina-Perez or whose child overdoses on drugs sold by him, good luck. The law is on the side of the illegal alien criminal and his judicial coddlers, not you and yours. Oh, and don't bother protesting to the Newton City Council. Its members declared the city an open-borders sanctuary city on a 16-1 vote in 2017. In fact, the following cities in Massachusetts are all official sanctuaries that hinder and obstruct ICE from enforcing federal immigration laws inside our borders: Amherst, Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Concord, Newton, Northampton, Somerville and Lawrence.

So, citizens, who can you turn to in the Bay State for equal justice under the law? Ha. I remind you that in May 2018, Obama-appointed federal judge Indira Talwani attacked ICE agents in Massachusetts when they took an alien into custody who had received probation for visa fraud. "I see no reason for places of redress and justice to become places that people are afraid to show up," Talwani argued on behalf of a Chinese national sentenced to probation for using a fake passport and visa to take a graduate school entrance exam for another person.

Have no fear, drunken Dominicans and Chinese cheats. American judges are here to help!

And so are other tax-subsidized DAs.

In March 2019, notorious Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins ordered her employees to monitor and snitch on ICE officers around any courthouse while trying to do their jobs. Rollins' election was part of a wave of successful campaign bids to install "progressive prosecutors" to carry out left-wing billionaire George Soros' plan of undermining the criminal justice system from within. A week after Joseph and MacGregor conspired to free their illegal alien poster child from ICE, Rollins and fellow subversive Middlesex County DA Marian Ryan sued ICE for doing its job. It was rendered moot and dropped after the anti-American Biden DOJ cut ICE off at the knees on its own.

I'd like to blame only leftists, Soros and Biden for the mess we're in. But, as usual, I can't. Judge Shelley "Jailbreak" Joseph is on the bench today thanks to the nomination of a Republican governor, retiring RINO Charlie Baker.

Immigration anarchy is what you get when "bipartisanship," "centrism," "pragmatism" and "diversity" matter more than protecting an American judicial system that puts Americans first.

August’s job report was as usual vigorously spun by the Regime Media and the Biden White House [US hiring slows but remains strong, as economy adds 315,000 jobs, by Max Zahn, ABC News, September 2, 2022].But data released since then— illegal border crossings, inflation, Federal Reserve interest rate hike—has been a series of hammer blows. Basically, American workers are earning less and facing recession. And, as usual unreported by anyone except VDARE.com, the fact is that those vigorously-spun jobs numbers also contain the news that immigrants are continuing to edge out American workers.

Et tu, Breitbart? Even the generally excellent Breitbart Business Digest echoed the Regime Media’s endless flow of Democrat talking points after the September 2 release of August’s jobs data: “The morning after President Joe Biden delivered his Dark Brandon at the Gates of Hell speech, the Labor Department delivered a jobs report that was pretty close to perfect.” [Breitbart Business Digest Dark Brandon vs. the Labor Market, by John Carney, September 2022]

That was because the Payroll Survey suggested a hiring slowdown, supposedly a sign that inflation is cooling. But the parallel Household Survey, regularly ignored by pundits for reason we don’t understand, showed hiring still surging. And more important from VDARE.com’s perspective: the Household Survey showed continued immigrant displacement of American workers

Employers added 315,000 people to their payrolls last month, down sharply from the 526,000 they hired in July. But the Household Employment Survey reported employment rose by 442,000 in August, more than doubling its anemic 179,000 gain in July.

Household Survey figures are invariably above Payroll Survey figures. One likely explanation: U.S. businesses are reluctant to acknowledge illegals working “off the books.” In August the employment “gap” between the surveys rose to 5.958 million, up by 3.55% from July’s 5.754.

The Household Survey is of particular interest to VDARE.com, because since 2010 it disaggregates employment trends by nativity. Both native-born Americans and immigrants gained jobs in August. But immigrant job gains were more robust. So American Worker Displacement rose.

In August:

• Immigrants (legal and illegal, government data does not distinguish) gained 113,000 jobs, a 0.40% gain from July.
• Native-born Americans gained 329,000 positions, a 0.25% increase from July.
• Thus VDARE.com’s immigrant employment index, set at 100.0 in January 2009, rose to 132.4 in August from 131.9 in July, a 0.40% increase.
• com’s native-born American employment index also rose last month, to 107.9 from 107.6, a 0.25% rise.

So the New VDARE American Worker Displacement Index (NVDAWDI), our name for the ratio of the immigrant to native-born employment growth indexes since Jan. 2009, rose to 122.7 in August from 122.5 in July, a 0.14% increase.

The record NVDAWDI (123.0) was set in May this year.

Despite the 1.163 million immigrants reported as unemployed in August, the foreign-born work force population expanded by about 2 million, year-over-year, for the fifth consecutive month.

Never over the past 15 years has the immigrant work force population expanded this much, for this long:



Note carefully what this chart shows. Unlike our other charts, which show absolute values, this one compares each month to the same month of the prior year. So the immigrant workforce population grew by 1.97 million in August compared to July 2021. The corresponding increases for May and June, and July were 2.361 million, 2.058 million and 2.038 million, respectively.

Under Trump, after August 2019 i.e. beginning before COVID the population of working-age immigrants declined for more than a tear. This far exceeded the net exodus during the 2008 Great Recession, and the brief net exodus during Trump’s first year, when his mere presence seemed to have jawboned illegals into fleeing.

The immigrant population of working age started growing again only in December 2020—when Biden’s reported victory spurred a renewed invasion.

Another displacement metric, the immigrant share of total employment, rose to 18.053% in August, up from 18.032% in July, and 17.947% in June. This is almost back to the May 2022 figure (18.089%), which was the highest since we started tracking employment by nativity in January 2009:



The August Household Survey reported 158.3 million people held jobs in the U.S. Each 1% rise in immigrant employment share represents a transfer of about 1.58 million jobs from native-born Americans to immigrants.

(Note that the immigrant share of U.S. employment data does not include the labor market impact of their U.S.-born children—citizens, even for children illegals under the current misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment. We haven’t looked at this for a while, but it probably increases income reduction for legacy American workers by as much as half).

A more detailed picture of how native-born American workers fared over the past year vis-à-vis immigrants is published in Table A-7 of the monthly BLS Report:





The big picture: August numbers showed a continued high demand for labor, but even faster growth in the number of people looking for jobs. One troubling result: the unemployment rate rose to 3.7% from a half-century low of 3.5% in July.

Notwithstanding which, illegal immigration continues to surge well above pre-Biden levels:

The Bureau of Labor Statistics also reported that from August 2021 to August 2022 hourly earnings rose 5.5%

But this was outpaced by inflation. The Consumer Price Index rose 8.3% year-over-year in August, above expectations. So real hourly earnings actually decreased year-over-year by some 2.8% [Economic News Release—Real Earnings Summary, BLS, September 21, 2022].

It's very hard to believe that this will not be a political problem for Democrats in the mid-term elections.

The Federal Reserve obviously does not think that this month’s economic data is “pretty close to perfect.” It just raised interest rates savagely, and signals that it will continue until inflation subsides [Federal Reserve hikes key interest rate 0.75 percentage point, projects economic slowdown, by Irina Ivanova, CBS, September 21, 2022]. You might think that might mean a renewed—well, actually a new—interest in reducing labor market competition by restricting immigration.

But you’d be wrong: the Uniparty was able to go through the 2008-9 recession without addressing continuing immigration at all.

At this point in history, to destroy the possibility of re-opening Nord Stream 1 (NS1), and opening NS2, all but assures massive famines and detailed destruction of European economy that normally only will be seen in war.

Nothing short of nuclear war will destroy a nation more completely, more intergenerationally, than turning off the energy followed by famine. Famines burn through the souls of nations. Just read five random books on famine.

Germany’s deal with the devil was a deal with themselves. Accepting the cheap Russian gas like cocaine straight to the bloodstream. To be sure, there were extreme benefits to manufacturing using cheaper, easier energy. Such as in the automotive industry.

You may notice some leaders now blame Russian for addicting Germany, as if Russia were a drug dealer and the pipelines are Russian needles into the arms of German children. But in fact Russia also wanted to sell gas to earn money. And Russia did NOT want to shut NS1, and frequently encouraged Germany to open NS2.

But the United States warned Germany many times — including Trump’s clear warnings — about Russian dependency. The Germans laughed at Trump. Video of The Laughing will go down in history.

It strongly appears United States has destroyed NS1 and NS2. Facts remain uncertain but Biden and his crew of thugs made clear on multiple occasions that something would happen at least to NS2. If only so much effort were applied to interrupting the fentanyl crossing America’s southern border and stopping the invasion that Americans will be forced to stop themselves.

Biden likewise made an open threat against Americans that he is willing to use F-15s on Americans. You likely have seen the not-subtle video.

Germany will freeze this winter. The hunger games will begin in 2023. By winter 2023-24, Germans and others will be freezing and very hungry, and possibly already into actual famine. And by winter 2024-25, profound famine almost certainly will ravage at least parts of Europe. Long flash to bang, but that bang is coming.

Germans and their multi-kulti invaders will devour the Black Forest and roast long-pig over their cuckoo clocks

Keep eyes on Norwegian flows. An interruption of Norwegian flows would be another chest shot for Europe.

After the attacks on NS1 and NS2, all infrastructure is on the table. EMP strikes in space could lead to quick famine across North America. Undersea cables.

USA is extremely vulnerable. Rail strikes alone could contribute to near-term famine in United States.

Yet another electric vehicle disaster is making the rounds on the internet, this time as a YouTuber with over 1.4 million followers tried towing an ancient 1930s Ford Model A truck with a contemporary Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup. Despite setting the bar ridiculously low – he just wanted to tow it just over 100 miles round trip – the entire experiment failed in a spectacularly “complete and total disaster.”

Youtuber Tyler Hoover says in the video, seen below, that “f a truck towing 3,500 pounds can’t even go 100 miles — that is ridiculously stupid. He then highlights the basic argument against EVs. “This truck can’t do normal truck things. You would be stopping every hour to recharge, which would take about 45 minutes a pop, and that is absolutely not practical.”

He says of the exercise: “My plan was to make two trips up today,” he said. “About 32 miles each way, so that’s about 64 times two: 128 miles round trip.”

“I had this thing charged to just over 200 miles when I started my day, so ample margin for error when it comes to range and towing and also considering the fact that the trailer was going up empty two times,” Hoover later added.

Unsurprisingly, the trip got off to a worse-than-expected start. Hoover had fully charged the vehicle in preparation, only to watch the battery life drain out faster than a gas leak. As he was “pulling out my neighborhood,” the EV had already lost three miles of range despite traveling less than a mile. Then, after arriving driving for just 32 miles the vehicle had already lost an estimated 68 miles of range.

It only got worse from there, as a warning was soon triggered for low batter. “Are you kidding me?” Hoover can be heard reacting. “That’s almost 90 miles of range in 30 miles. Are you serious? That’s nuts. What a joke.”

Hoover makes his feelings well known about the current state of electric vehicles.

Electric Vehicles ‘Laughable’ Proposition for at Least a Decade: Expert​

Geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan has dismissed the possibility of electric vehicles (EVs) going mainstream in the next 10 years owing to limitations on materials and unresolved supply chain issues.

“The lithium comes from one place, and it’s all processed in China. So, just building the alternate processing infrastructure … and by the way, we have to invade Russia too … just to get the materials to do EVs at scale is just laughable for the next decade. We need a new technological series of breakthroughs in material sciences before that is possible,” Zeihan said on Sept. 8 at the 54th Annual ECC PerspECCtive Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

In a post on his personal website, Zeihan points out that electrifying “everything” will require more copper, lithium, nickel, cobalt, zinc, chromium, graphite, silicon, rare earths, and other materials. A single electric car needs 200 kilograms (441 pounds) of such materials, whereas a conventional car only demands less than 50 kilograms (110 pounds).

Moving away from oil involves walking away from complex, often violent, and always critical supply and transport systems, “only to replace it with at least 10 more,” he said.

The United States will not just have to deal with Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, but also with countries like Chile, Bolivia, South Africa, Peru, Mexico, Germany, Indonesia, and China, where such materials needed for electric vehicles are concentrated.

In May, Carlos Tavares, CEO of automotive manufacturing company Stellantis, warned that the world could experience a shortage of EV batteries by 2024–25, and then a shortage of materials for producing the EVs. This will slow down the adoption of electric vehicles by 2027–28, he stated, according to CNBC.

US Adoption​

Zeihan’s observations about EVs come as some U.S. states are aggressively pushing forward the adoption of electric vehicles despite lacking the infrastructure to support them.

California is trying to ban the sale of diesel commercial trucks by 2040 and gas-powered cars by 2035. However, the state advised electric car owners not to charge vehicles in early September owing to a shortage of electricity.

The shift to renewable energy sources does not come cheap. The United States will have to spend trillions of dollars to upgrade power grids to accommodate renewable energy demands, according to research firm Wood Mackenzie.

“We estimate the cost of full decarbonization of the US power grid at US$4.5 trillion, given the current state of technology … From a budgetary perspective, the cost is staggering at US$35,000 per household—nearly US$2,000 per year if assuming a 20-year plan,” Wood Mackenzie said in a post.

Globally, the International Energy Agency has set a target of 47 million EV sales by 2030. Speaking to the Financial Times, Daniel Morgan, a mining analyst at investment bank Barrenjoey, cited 28 million as a realistic target. But even this would require lithium production to rise by six times by 2030.

EV production targets being made by governments or carmakers are impossible to meet, Morgan said. “There’s a great love of throwing out lofty targets, but where the rubber hits the road it’s not going to happen.”

California Passed A New Minimum Wage Bill. Now Chipotle Is Testing A Robotic Chip Maker.

Chipotle announced the rollout of an automated chip machine in southern California on Tuesday.

According to a press release, the company is testing Chippy — an autonomous kitchen assistant designed by Miso Robotics — at a restaurant in Fountain Valley, California, before the Mexican fast food giant considers a “national implementation strategy.” The device has already been tested in Chipotle’s technology innovation facility.

“We are always exploring opportunities to enhance our employee and guest experience,” Chipotle Chief Technology Officer Curt Garner said earlier this year. “Our goal is to drive efficiencies through collaborative robotics that will enable Chipotle’s crew members to focus on other tasks in the restaurant.”

The company also revealed on Tuesday that select restaurants in California are testing a kitchen management system that will optimize ingredient use and cooking activities — a solution that will eliminate “manual tasks” for employees, according to Garner, while “ultimately enabling them to focus on an exceptional culinary and an outstanding guest experience.”

Chipotle’s rollout of automation solutions occurs weeks after Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) signed AB 257 — legislation that creates a “Fast Food Council” responsible for drafting “sectorwide minimum standards on wages, working hours, and other working conditions,” according to a summary of the bill.

Members of the Fast Food Council are permitted to raise minimum wages up to $22 per hour, representing an increase of over 40% from the $15.50 per hour minimum wage slated to take effect in 2023. Last year, Chipotle boosted hourly wages to range between $11 per hour and $18 per hour.

The legislation, which applies only to restaurants with 100 or more locations across the United States, faced considerable opposition from fast food chains. Chipotle joined Yum Brands, In-N-Out Burger, and other firms in spending over $1 million to lobby against the bill, according to a report from Forbes.

The bill also comes one year after a sizable portion of California restaurants were forced to close their doors following some of the nation’s most aggressive government lockdowns. In a letter denouncing the legislation, McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger noted that the provisions impose “higher costs on one type of restaurant, while sparing another.”

“If you are a small business owner running two restaurants that are part of a national chain, like McDonald’s, you can be targeted by the bill,” Erlinger explained. “But if you own 20 restaurants that are not part of a large chain, the bill does not apply to you.”

The legislation includes a carveout for restaurants that operate a bakery that “produces for sale bread as a stand-alone menu item.” Erlinger said that “backroom politicking” could explain the exemption.

An analysis from the California Department of Finance said that the legislation introduces a “fragmented regulatory and legal environment for employers” that could “raise long-term costs across industries.” Chipotle has nearly 450 restaurants in the Golden State, according to the company’s website.

Businesses have struggled to fill positions as labor force participation has lagged over the past two years — worsening a decades-long trend of low engagement in the job market. The metric dropped from 63.4% in February 2020 to 60.2% in April 2020 alone amid government lockdowns and business closures, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. As of August 2022, labor force participation climbed to 62.4%.
