Sure...and I should have added that there must be some police and fire retirement funds that allow a move to a different jurisdiction without a loss down the road. You know...a really quiet jurisdiction. But, I agree, that if you will be called to be a loss by your politicians as a result of doing your duty...run like hell.
When the US falls, there will be no rebuilding ever. Anyone who thinks otherwise is foolish.

It is called the Ferguson effect where the ghettoes full of poor blacks get smothered by criminal activities. And yeah in many ghettos system police will now be replaced by muslims, or nation of islam or DRUG CARTELS. Mexican cartels will run many/most of our cities by July 4th, you just watch.
I'd LOVE to see some good ol boy farmer load up a semi trailer with manure and haul it into the the city, and give in to their demands!

to be fair, they had no idea the verdict was going to come out today. contracts, timing, deliveries, jobs, obligations, life. so many things long ago planned and obliged to with no way of knowing today would be the day.

George was a piece of crap thug but Chauvin was wrong and I feel he is guilty. He purposely remained on Floyd even though people were recording with their phones and begging him to stop. It's as if Chauvin was possessed.
I'm the proud daughter of a retired state trooper and I'm pro law enforcement. You could not pay me to be a cop in today's world. I also have a relative in the prison system who was abused in the marine corp and by multiple bad cops in multiple jurisdictions. It happens, white homeless addict treated poorly by bad cops.
It is simple, don't abuse people, children or animals. Regardless of color, class etc.

The only one I could possibly see as legit is Count III. The others are so far removed from the facts that it is laughable.
Yeah, the Cartels are the group in that batch with both the organization and the will for such a move, much more so than either the Nation of Islam or other Jihadi groups.

I really don't know where some of you are coming from. Chauvin is obviously guilty of ie- he had his knee on the throat of a handcuffed man laying on the ground for 9 minutes. Chauvin knew before hand that Floyd was having trouble breathing. It doesn't matter what drugs he had taken or how much he was struggling initially. I also heard it wasn't pollice procedure to do this. So to me he is guilty - I'm not sure under what category or charge it falls but it's obvious he is guilty

This Judge is far more guilty of a crime than Chauvin ...he needs to suffer the consequences of his actions of being an activist Judge.

Did you follow the trial at all? Much testimony that he was *absolutely * following procedure... and Floyd was already a dead man walking, due to the amount of fentanyl and other drugs he had on board.
And his knee wasn't on his throat. In fact, the police chief testified at trial that the video showed Chauvin's knee on Floyd's SHOULDER.
Also... it's accepted medical fact that when someone is clearly stating "I can't breathe"... they aren't having trouble breathing! Floyd probably WAS short of oxygen, as his CNS shut down from the drugs, but his airway wasn't obstructed.

According to what I read in MSM (the source of all truth) a 5'8" 140 lb cop was holding down a 6'4" 220 lb perp known to spend his free time tossing weights around and had just shown he was violent.
Any truth to any of that?.

True enough, but I think he got into his "Cop Mode", where no bystander is going to influence him; I think he was fighting more against them than he was against Floyd. He defiantly stared down that crowd, admittedly a wise choice in some circumstances.
Unfortunately, in this case, he should have backed off, got off of him, gave Narcan and done whatever else he had time for, then turfed that guy to the first rescue arriving.

That isn't the issue one would think, in my 15yrs I dealt with many assholes like this one. Cuffs and shackles which each and every car should have, hog tie and face down on the back seat. Done and done.
