BRKG Jury Reaches Verdict in Derek Chauvin Trial In The Death Of George Floyd - GUILTY ALL COUNTS, post 215

Did you follow the trial at all? Much testimony that he was *absolutely * following procedure... and Floyd was already a dead man walking, due to the amount of fentanyl and other drugs he had on board.

And his knee wasn't on his throat. In fact, the police chief testified at trial that the video showed Chauvin's knee on Floyd's SHOULDER.

Also... it's accepted medical fact that when someone is clearly stating "I can't breathe"... they aren't having trouble breathing! Floyd probably WAS short of oxygen, as his CNS shut down from the drugs, but his airway wasn't obstructed.

Darn it! Stop trying to put facts out that don't support the narrative and further the agenda. What are you honest? /sarc

i do have some real wonderings about the judge. sometimes, his judgments made us all go "wth?"

i do wonder if he allowed things for a purpose. we all knew the outcome before it started, and the threat that was stated outright. its possible it all went this way and now it can be stated that the jurors did the "right' thing and are now immune to the "justice', but he knew it would be overturned later.

i'm not saying that is the gospel, but it certainly is possible.
True. We know the judicial system is corrupt and totally compromised after the SC ruling about not ruling. Why should this judge be any cleaner?

I don't think many people actually watched the Defense which explained a lot of why Chauvin and the others did what they did, and when. Minute by minute, they broke down the actual footage of the body cams and videos, showing the whole 19 minutes, which the Prosecution did not even mention.

This was how he and the MN police were trained and when 3 cops can't get one man into the back of a police car, and have to haul him back out and put him on his side on the ground (SOP) and he is still kicking like a mule, they had to go to the neck/shoulder to keep him under control.

Floyd had 90% and 70% blockages to the heart, and with the natural adrenaline of anger and fear and the 2 types of drugs he had in overdose in his system...... how did he expect to live. What was he going to do, handcuffed and fighting like crazy, but he just didn't know when to stop. I believe it was mentioned that Floyd kicked Chauvin's badge off his shirt while he was in the car lying down.

Horrible mess, but Auntie Maxine may save him yet - an appeal (concerning her interference) by an impartial judge, may get him off or a lesser sentence. But is sure isn't going to make the police happy in Minneapolis tonight.

Its like watching the movie " little nicky" when adam sandlers character, (the son of the devil) is watching his brothers inhabit people and running amok causing all kinds of mayhem and laughing about it as they go on their rampage. ...and all the people being wrapped into it.

He should have never been charged with murder. Murder by definition in the law is a deliberate intent to kill. Even second degree murder would be a huge legal stretch. Manslaughter maybe. Of course, the guy really died as a result of his drug overdose but no one want to hear that. The cop is being sacrificed to hopefully prevent the city from burning. This will definitely be going to appeal and, if the courts ignore the drum beating and follow the law, likely will overturn.

My country died 12/11/20.
Some ppl don’t like the cold.
Ohio is cold.
Northern Ohio has a 100% chance of snow tonight.
57% chance tomorrow.
Ohio should be ok for a couple of days if all heck breaks loose.
Stay safe everyone!!!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of Calif., speaks as Rep. Joyce Beatty, D-Ohio, listens on Capitol Hill in Washington, Tuesday, April 20, 2021, after the jury returned guilty verdicts on all three charges in the murder trial of former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd. • House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thanked George Floyd for "sacrificing" his life for justice.
  • A jury on Tuesday convicted former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin of Floyd's murder.
  • Pelosi received swift backlash on social media for implying that Floyd willingly sacrificed himself.
  • See more stories on Insider's business page.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was condemned on Tuesday saying that George Floyd, a Minneapolis man murdered by a police officer in 2020, "sacrificed his life" for racial justice, a statement some critics called "ignorant" and "tone deaf."

Just minutes earlier, a Hennepin County jury found Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, guilty of unintentional second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter for killing Floyd by pinning his knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

Floyd's death and other killings of Black Americans at the hands of police in 2020 set off nationwide protests and demands for justice and reforms to police and criminal justice systems around the country.

"Thank you George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice. For being there to call out to your mom, how heartbreaking was that, call out for you mom, 'I can't breathe,'" Pelosi said at a press conference hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus following the verdict. "But because of you and because of thousands, millions of people around the world who came out for justice, your name will always be synonymous with justice."

Let's Go Brandon!
The LEO should not have been there in the first place.

As soon as they saw, that Saint Floyd was high as a kite,
they should have gotten back into their squad,
and left his POS African arse to his own demise.

Bunches and bunches of Whites, are simply going to die,
because they do not understand, the POS African race.

Let the POS Africans be. They will die simply because of
who they are, no involvement by Whites is ever needed.

Only recourse for Chauvin now, is to do as Hermann Goring did,
as he will loose, in any additional legal actions that are done,
on his behalf.

His life is over. He was simply at the wrong place, at the wrong time,
and attempted to deal with a POS African convicted felon thug,
high as a kite, who was about to die, without any intervention
by LEO, and he has and is going to pay for that intervention.

Please be safe everyone. POS Africans are now free to do whatever
the hell they please. Free at last, free at last, thank a corrupted
justice system, free at last.

Regards to all.

Look what mass email I just got in my mailbox from superintendent of school district.

I don’t even know what to do with this.

Dear (School District) Students, Families, and Employees:

Today, the jury has announced guilty verdicts on all three counts of the Derek Chauvin trial for the killing of George Floyd. This senseless killing and its aftermath have sparked emotions and conversations around the world. These issues are complex, controversial and, for many, very personal.

To assist with conversations, the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) has provided some resources that parents and staff may use to engage in meaningful dialogue.

Teaching Tolerance has a Let’s Talk Guide that can help classroom educators in creating the foundation for discussing race, racism, and other difficult topics with students.

In addition, the National Association of School Psychologists shares Talking About Race and Privilege: Lesson Plan for Middle and High School Students.

Cops in MN can't quit and go home. they ARE home... and it's only a matter of time before they go for their real agenda of federalizing the police- and turning some enforcement over to the sharia compliant policing. Amazing to watch, even after they told us what they were going to do.

As far as this trial today... there is no excuse to still be searching to understand what the laws are and what a fair interpretation of the actions says in light of them. As I so often rant, we need demand that the education occur
outside of these emotion laden moments, then hold everyone accountable for knowing them, the rules of engagement etc...

Often, the prosecution will levy a bevy of charges hoping to attain a plea bargain and hoping that something will stick if the case goes to trial.

It is obvious persecutorial abuse but that is just the way the system works.
Thanks Red.....so that means he will only get time for the worst one right? .....there is no way you can (or should be able to triple stack) give him time for all three charges...........?

well, i see what you mean, but actually meant the other way.

meaning, he knew before this even started what was going to happen, but allowed things to unfold in a way that was still within the legal framework, but that could leave the door open to true justice.

i don't if that is the fact, but i do wonder.

I really don't know where some of you are coming from. Chauvin is obviously guilty of ie- he had his knee on the throat of a handcuffed man laying on the ground for 9 minutes. Chauvin knew before hand that Floyd was having trouble breathing. It doesn't matter what drugs he had taken or how much he was struggling initially. I also heard it wasn't pollice procedure to do this. So to me he is guilty - I'm not sure under what category or charge it falls but it's obvious he is guilty
This is what people who watched none of the trial will think. Good job following the crowd. Now per the prosecution he was not on Floyd’s neck, was trained in this process, and was under threat of violence from a mob. Just to start with.

Anyone notice that not a word was said about "systemic racism" except by Biden and Harris. Nothing at the trial as they didn't want to make it about that, just about whether it was murder or not.

Now they will try and use this as pretext for White on Black nastiness, although the actual facts show it is the reverse.

It is not and never was about a White man killing a Black because he hated him.
