The Israeli military reportedly attempted to assassinate Marwan Issa, the deputy head of the of Hamas's military wing, in a recent airstrike in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Hebrew-language media reports, Issa was hiding in the Nuseirat camp. Overnight between Saturday and Sunday, the IDF carried out an airstrike on a building where he was believed to be.
Reports say five Palestinians were killed in the strike, although it is still unknown if Issa is among them.

In support of the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza and in light of the Israeli aggression on the various South Lebanon villages, the Islamic Resistance continued striking the Zionist occupation sites near Lebanon border.
Hezbollah military media issued consecutive statements to illustrate the attacks and their outcomes.
The first statement mentioned that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 10:25 am on Monday, March 11, 2024, Jal Al-Allam site with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit.
Islamic Resistance fighters launched, at 10:25 am on Monday, March 11, 2024, an aerial operation with four assault drones on the air and missile defense headquarters in Kela Barracks, hitting their targets accurately, the second statement pointed out.
The third statement affirmed that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 11:45 am on Monday, March 11, 2024, a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers at Al-Tayhat Hill with appropriate weapons, inflicting a direct hit.

Could be an announcement that they aren't going to send in any more IRG commanders and get them killed on the tarmac when they land, during Ramadan.
I'm probably as dumb as a post, but I don't see how stopping flights into Syria, would mean an escalation of the war in Lebanon, a different country. I would think for an escalation that Iran supports would mean more flights.

If you zoom out into space and take a look at things, the destruction of the USA is being done purposely. BY the people at the top of the government and all the bought and paid for congress kritters. The same ones killing hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, to no discernable reason, other than wanting to depopulate native Ukrainians (hhhmmmm, to what end?), and supply unlimited munitions to kill muzzies (who I have no love for at all, but I want to try and discern the 'Larger Purpose, because there is one, and not to the benefit of ANY patriotic American).

If Israel indeed intends to carry out a ground military operation in Lebanon, at least to push Hezbollah militias back, then this is exactly what Hezbollah is clearly seeking – to draw Israel into this battle.
However, in my view, Israel is likely to rely on carrying out wider assassination operations before any other military operation.
Things will not remain as they are now, stage after stage, and each stage is undoubtedly escalatory.
