You could always give the remaining hostages back.
Personally. I don’t think it has been barbaric enough

BREAKING:

Hamas CEASEFIRE proposal

1. Ceasefire in Gaza one week before the start of the implementation of the deal.
2. Clear Israeli acknowledgment of withdrawal from Gaza with international guarantees to achieve this withdrawal.
3. No humanitarian truce, but rather a cessation of aggression on Gaza.
4. Freedom of movement in Gaza and allowing all displaced persons to return to their homes and areas without any conditions.
5. From the first day of implementing the deal, aid is allowed to enter all areas of Gaza without segmenting it into security squares.
6. After the first week of the ceasefire in Gaza, the exchange process begins, with Hamas not objecting to it being in installments and with international guarantees that Israel will not violate these agreements.
7. Absolute rejection of allowing any released detainee outside Palestinian territories, and each is released in their own region.
8. Release of all detainees from the Shalit deal who were re-arrested as a breach of the deal, numbering 57 detainees without being part of the deal.
9. Detainees from inside Israel and Jerusalem are an essential part of the deal, and we do not accept an Israeli veto on this criterion.
10. Hamas and the resistance factions will provide the names of the first batch of Israeli captives 48 hours before the exchange execution, without pre-arranged lists for the number of captives and bodies, as the counting process will take more time if the war stops.
11. Hamas, for the first time, presented a list of names to be the first batch for the exchange process, and it was determined as follows:
a. 160 detainees with high and old sentences, starting with the following names: -
Marwan Barghouti - Ahmed Sa'adat - Abdullah Barghouti - Ibrahim Hamed - Abbas al-Sayed and the rest of the names in the list according to precedence and judgment without regard to faction or geography.
b. All women, regardless of their sentences, faction, or geography.
c. All patients, regardless of their sentence, age, or identity, and this clause is titled Prisoner Walid Daqqa.
d. Elderly individuals, with the definition of elderly being sixty and above according to international standards.
e. All children and minors, regardless of their sentence or identity, with the age limit defined as 18 and below according to international standards.
After completing the first batch, we move on to the second batch amidst a comprehensive agreement to cease fire and achieve the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip and the opening of all crossings to allow all aid to reach the people of the Strip without Israeli control, and without achieving this, we will not proceed to the rest of the batches, which include bodies.” Via

The entire staff, student body and all alumni of the Helen Keller School for the Blind can see the rockets and mortar rounds going into that site once the first US serviceman or civilian contractor sets foot on the ground in Gaza. Seabees might go in planning to provide their own security, but it's going to require battalions of Marines before it's over and I pray it doesn't end in a withdrawal like Kabul for our forces.

Seabees will be left naked and exposed by our “leaders” who want to avoid “offending” the local hosts. If we go in unarmed, Hamas is sure to respect our pacifism approach, right? We will set a fine example of humanity

Whomever came up with the idea of a Gaza port, was likely drinking a lot of port.

Flag-draped coffins being received at Dover AFB, wounded servicemembers in Walter Reed/Bethesda and American servicemembers held hostage by Hamas (if not transferred to Iran)... I see it ending very badly.

Of course it could be a Globalist plan to open the door to send US troops into Gaza "to build a nation" plus to remove the costs of rebuilding from Israel after Israel leaves Gaza.

The idea that we stay our hand against a response to the assaults against shipping in the red sea in order to prevent escalation, then turn around and put an ever bigger target on our backs boggles the mind.

I haven't even heard the cursory question of "what do we do once they've attacked/killed some in our uniform engaged in this area" be posed, let alone a serious plan presented.
-and to add insult to injury I'm not even certain that those who know think such a building project can be physically successfully.

Oh. And collaborating with Hamas, a group we've designated as terrorists, is against our laws.

WSJ: Qatar threatening to deport Hamas chiefs if they don’t agree to hostage truce deal

Today, 6:55 pm 10

Qatar is threatening to expel Hamas’s leaders from Qatar if they can’t convince them to agree to a hostage deal, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing an unnamed Hamas official and Egyptian official.
Qatar hosts Hamas’s political bureau, including its leader, Ismail Haniyeh.
Husam Badran, a senior official of the terror group based in Doha, denies the claim. He tells the WSJ that without a deal, violence will escalate during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, set to begin this week.

IDF prep for war vs. Hezbollah moves into high gear:
-Exercise simulates supply lines into Lebanon
-Army sets up bomb shelters in northern Israel
-Senior officer tasked with planning invasion
Here's the full report ⬇️

Israel’s Emergency War Plan Moves Into High Gear

The IDF Home Front Command rapidly advanced in recent weeks a plan to designate mass bomb shelters in northern Israel. The army is setting up dozens of sites, primarily in underground parking lots, in response to the looming threat of full-scale war with Hezbollah.
The IDF procured 80,000 food packages for distribution during wartime as part of the operation, Ynet reported, underscoring the scope of the threat. The emergency shelters are crucial for residents living in older buildings lacking fortified spaces, offering a sanctuary that can sustain them for days if necessary.
A similar plan will be implemented in central Israel in the event of war with Hezbollah or a broader regional conflict, the report said. The IDF estimates that barrages of thousands of rockets and missiles will target Israel daily during an all-out war.
Israel’s security forces and emergency services have been working for long weeks to bolster readiness for large-scale conflict. The IDF has deployed additional troops to the north and intensified training efforts, while the government prepares hospitals to handle the complexities of wartime operations and mass casualties.

IDF plans Lebanon campaign

In parallel, the army is advancing plans for a ground operation in Lebanon. IDF Chief Halevi tasked Brigadier General Moshe “Chiko” Tamir with formulating a blueprint for a military campaign against Hezbollah, Channel 13 reported.
Notably, Tamir played a lead role in planning the IDF incursion into Gaza. The veteran officer brings invaluable experience and insight to the table: He previously served as deputy chief of the Northern Command and is closely familiar with the challenges posed by Hezbollah.
Meanwhile, Northern Command Chief Ori Gordin is actively engaging with local security officers in the north to discuss war preparations. During a recent meeting, he emphasized ongoing IDF efforts to boost readiness for a potential assault in Lebanon.
In the past week, the IDF practiced operations to set up supply lines into Lebanon via air and land. The drill simulated delivery of military gear, ammo, water, and fuel to troops in enemy territory. The exercise was led by the Technology and Logistics Branch in cooperation with the Northern Command, Air Force, and infantry units.

Eyes on Israel’s air defenses

As tensions continue to mount and the specter of conflict looms large, Hezbollah is intensifying its efforts to undermine Israel’s defenses. Terrorists have been launching rocket barrages in an attempt to identify and neutralize Iron Dome batteries stationed in northern Israel, N12 News reported.
These attacks, which include rockets and drones launched from various locations and altitudes, underscore Hezbollah’s quest to identify weak spots in Israel’s air defense array.
Despite the looming threat, defense officials remain confident in the effectiveness of Israel’s multi-layered air defense systems.
A senior IDF engineer told N12 News that Iron Dome has been upgraded during the current war and achieved a success rate of over 90%. She added that the David’s Sling missile defense system covers the entire nation, complementing the capabilities of Iron Dome. [Read more: How Iron Dome Works?]

Make no mistake about this: Hamas is looking at this year's Ramadan as possibly its last Ramadan as rulers of Gaza. Therefore, in the next 30 days expect Hamas to try to do everything in its power to escalate. This is possibly Hamas' last Ramadan to bring in tens of millions in sympathy donations in the name of Gaza.

My cousin , he is in Tel Aviv, told me he does not understand our idiot president's decision to build a port on Gaza. He said Israelis think he has lost his mind. I told him most Americans determined he is an idiot many years ago. Anyway, he feels that Hamas hates America as much as Israel and they will try and kill the Americans even if they are trying to deliver aid. He gives this idea of building a port about a 20% of ever happening. His older son who is in SF, says in two months the war will be just about over. They are very close to finding the raghead who organized the October 7th attack. Yahya Sinwar is a dead man walking. He is running out of tunnels to hide in. There are no innocent Palis. They all support Hamas and hate Jews.
