If the news about the killing of Hassan Nasrallah's grandson is confirmed, we may be witnessing the beginning of the third stage of escalation orchestrated by Hezbollah in the region.

In my opinion, this escalation is likely to be gradual, allowing everyone to become accustomed to it. However, the same question is:

Does Hezbollah realize or will realize the extent of the losses it will incur?

Let me say it in a different way:

The killing of Abbas Raad, the son of Hezbollah MP Mohammed Raad, and the elite leadership of the Al-Ridwan unit, has shifted the battle between Hezbollah and Israel from targeting observation towers on the Lebanese border to targeting military bases in the Galilee and other cities under Israeli control.

This is the idea I mean by moving the battle to a new stage, which is the third stage from my point of view.

Two attempts by the Israeli army to infiltrate the Lebanese territories were intercepted by Hezbollah cells on the border. According to two statements issued by the group just after midnight:

1- An Israeli force trying to infiltrate near Rmeish, was targeted with missile weapons and sustained direct hits.
2- an Israeli force from the Golani Brigade trying to infiltrate near the town of Ramia, was hit with a large explosive device, then the force was targeted with a number of artillery shells.

Very credible people for decades have said that Palestinian women and girls are routinely subjected to rape when held by the IDF. Most kept their mouths shut due to the happy muslim custom of honor killing.

I have it on very credible sources that if you are the aggressor in a war of conquest through genocide you should keep your women & children FAR from the line of scrimmage and instruct them clearly "Eat this pill if they ever take you alive." There is no reason to expect leniency, mercy or quarter while waging merciless wars of aggression/conquest/extermination.

If being fought in your home for your very existence, from a numerically superior and fanatically martyrous enemy.. DISSUASION and preemption become a LARGER PART of the strategy. IOW, no such thing of a "war crime" when fighting for existence, you should have mulled the possibilities before you brought it to MY HOUSE. Not a sexy observation, but there has NEVER been a war where rape wasn't a weapon... don't start wars, don't get unceremoniously f*cked.

Sounds like what the majority of the world now feels about the USA. 60 years of Wars of Aggression, almost non stop. Millions and millions of dead and disfigured people around the world from Vietnam on. Human mutations in Vietnam, Cambodia, Iraq, and Iran after we supplied Saddam with WMD's, chemical and others.

I used to support Israel whole heartedly all my life; until I investigated and debated 911 for a couple of years. 5 dancing Israelis in NYC driving around, making 3 stops until they found a 'good' place to film the towers going down. In the months following that and delving very deep into the aftermath of where the NYC police KNEW they were dirty and held them for weeks until that patriot the Dick, Cheney ordered them released.

I could go on for pages how Israel, Mossad, IDF have been jerking our chains for decades. Why don't you go take a deep dive into which 3 organizations are the ones paying for and facilitating the mass invasion of the Southern border. Yep, you will find them there too.

He is right. If Israel is calling up those hundreds of thousands of reserves it is to 'take' southern Lebanon; which would leave Hezballah two choices; run away and leave all those munitions and decades of work behind; or use it all, which would almost certainly bring in Iran.

I understand the reasons they pull out the details and share the stories when and how they do- and trying to shore up flagging support for the war, and remind us of our outrage at the inexcusable makes a certain amount of sense

...but I hate that the personal human tragedies and scars are used as a bloody red cape by anyone- other than the victims themselves, if and when they decide they wish for their stories to be so used.

I'm no fan of pali's or muslims; I wish 90% of them would get out of my country, same with most of the illegals. However, it is FUNNY to see AOC reaping a bit of what she has sown. No, It's not funny, it's friggin' hilarious.

I tried to find an old song that had the lyrics "only the beginning" but couldn't, so what the heck. Little barista who is now a multimillionaire. Sorry, in general I 'saw' decades ago that 'they' would cause death by the hundreds of millions, maybe billions, but they would mostly come to a bad end.

This was in retaliation for earlier Israeli strikes

- Situation getting out of control, both Israel & Hezbollah hitting deeper
- Hochstein in Israel today
- Lebanese Army, UNIFIL have no say
- With no Gaza ceasefire, second front in Lebanon is more likely
- Israel seeking buffer

Israel is quietly ending reliance on US-made weapons in the wake of the Biden WH's pressure in the Gaza war.
The IDF is moving away from the M-4 to an Israeli version by mid-2025.
It's also creating a production line for 1-ton bombs for the IAF, currently supplied by the US. >
A production line is expensive. It wouldn't be opened if the IDF wasn't committed to buying from it for years to come. >>
The Biden admin also shocked Israel by opening an investigation into Finkelstein Metals, the only company making a key component of Iron Dome munitions.

Isr is learning that it has to give as little leverage as possible to foreign govts who will try to pressure Isr during wars.

Look at the conflict from a distance :

In recent days, Hezbollah has played the role of the strongest military faction among all militias in the region.

It has intensified rocket launches against Israel for various reasons, including sending messages about its military arsenal, its complete control over Lebanon's decisions, the possibility of engaging in a long-term open war with Israel, and exerting political pressure on the United States.

On the other hand, the Houthi militias have been less aggressive in recent days, except for today's targeting, exchanging a role reversal between Hezbollah and the Houthis.

The third and most important aspect is the resurgence of Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria in the past 48 hours.

The goal of coordinating these militias is to increase military and political pressure on the United States and Israel, directly threatening the security of the region and neighboring countries.

Here, we are talking about the consequences of turning a blind eye to the crimes of dictatorial regimes that supported, stood by, and worked to strengthen these militias.

Lastly, I believe that the upcoming days will bring a number of #kotlet in the region.
