The theory is that the certificate was filed AFTER Obama's mother returned from Kenya. That is why the date of August 8th is seen on the CoLB.

I examined the certificate with Photoshop, using proprietary forensics algorithms.
Several of the bits in the bottom right hand corner are still wet.
The serifs on the primary fonts don't look Muslim enough for early
60's Kenya typewriters.
This leads me to believe he was really born in Nigeria.

The way it works is in Amendment 20, Section 3.
" If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the begin-ning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified."

According to this, if obama is found to be not qualified to be president, then Biden can become president until congress finds a *suitable replacement* And if both obama and biden are found to be unqualified, then again congress will be the ones to decide on a *suitable replacement* And, of course, that 'suitable replacement' would be...Hillary Clinton. Instead of an "October Surprise",...look for a "November Surprise".

It does not have to do with the original intent. The original post on this thread is an implication that an AP article says that someone at the DOH in Hawaii does not want to release the CERTIFICATE. So get back on track with this thread. THEY DO NOT WANT to release it..."UNLESS there is TANGIBLE interest"! They HAVE it and they have not released it. Until we see what THEY have, we do not really know do we? If they had the same thing that has been faked or what ever on the internet, then they would hold no harm in releasing it. But apparently they don't. So what ever fake or real things wander around the internet, the folks in the U.S. do have a tangible interest, and would like to see what OUR GOVERNMENT in Hawaii has. Not some fake proposed thing on the internet. There are so many fakes out there saying different things to what Obama's campaign says. That is why the U.S. people want more and more. And we dang well have the constitution RIGHT to HAVE more and more AND MORE! Be damned to anyone who doesn't just agree with the Constitution and get with it. This is not a WHITE or BLACK thing! This issue is not a new one and quite frankly, is getting a tad old. Conspiracy theories aside, why is Obama dragging his feet and not releasing the original of his birth certificate? Release same, problem solved.
There are a lot of questions floating around about his background, associates and legal standing to even run for the office. His holding out on a very simple resolution to the birth certificate question just further clouds the issues.
I really don't see race as an issue, only his qualifications to hold this office.

Well when you consider the fact that someone uncovered his birth in Kenya and now the government of Kenya will not let anyone see or look at it! Thats admitting the fact they have it, the same can be said for his school records. All Stanley Ann Dunham's mom had to do when they got back to Honolulu airport was call some she knew and say she had the kid in the bed room and fill out the forms. So now he has two birth certificates but one of them is 5 or so days older.

I think they ought to leave this issue alone and concentrate on others. I believe there are people who could doctor up anything so well it would be impossible to tell if it was fake or not. Even if the "original" document was in their vaults and was forced by court order to take it out it we would be made to look like fools.
As far as the Kenyan grandmother, she is old and probably had LOTS and LOTS of grandchildren. Even if she was there for most of their births, they can bring up the argument that she wouldn't be able to keep track of one grandbaby from the next. Her testimony might fly if the case was different and she only had a few but I doubt it.

When requested, all the Bureau of Vital Statistics will provide is a certified copy of the original.
It is a true copy that is Primie Facie proof of that birth that is legal in any court of law.
This is a non issue but I enjoy watching all you neocons grasping at it as if it were you last great hope to keep one of your own in the White House

Now there should be the same TYPE of certification on a Birth Cert. for Obama in Hawaii......obviously not the same data, but something similar in detail......not just what is shown in the Certified Cert. which he has shown.

Simply because his birth certificate is genuine does not mean that he is a natural born American. This is a crucial technicality, since he can be born in Kenya and given a Hawaiin birth certificate thereafter.
