The one being financed by contributions. He collected just under $150k with a target of $50k. They probably have more info at his site, but it's Twitter or Facebook or something and I don't do social comms.
Email from Ben Davidson:

First, thank you so much for helping us reach our goal here. We will be able to make this documentary and include the best information possible. We are slated to begin filming in September, and expect the film to be released next year (2025).

In the next few weeks we will be sending out the "backer survey" - this is very important! Your responses are how we will get you your rewards in the proper way, that includes the correct name for contributor/production credits, and tickets for the opening night premier event, which we expect to be in Colorado Springs.

Another large farsided CME observed. Although LASCO imagery is currently not up to date, STEREO Ahead captures a fast moving, full halo CME leaving the Sun. Again because this is happened on the other side of the Sun, the plasma cloud will be directed away from our planet.

X-Flare / Geomagnetic Storm Warning
September 12, 2024 @ 10:00 UTC
A busy Thursday morning in the space weather environment.

First and foremost, a strong X1.3 solar flare was just detected around a new active region turning into view off the southeast limb. The time of the flare was 09:43 UTC (Sept 12). We will get a better look at the source region during the next 24 hours. A further update will be provided later this morning if a CME is associated.

Secondly, the solar wind stream continues to indicate CME effects with a further speed increase to above 500 km/s. The Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) has also been tipped south at times. Minor (G1) to Moderate (G2) geomagnetic storming is likely during the next 24 hours.

Strong Storm: The Strong (G3) Geomagnetic Storm threshold was reached at 14:43 UTC (Sept 12). . This is the result of possibly two expected CME's passing Earth early Thursday morning.

Pretty intense, slightly higher pitched than my usual tinnitus, undulating buzz (not the right word but anybody who experiences it is probably nodding right now) that ramped up around noon today and has hung around until now.

Edit, instead of replying to myself, since I can....

It's waning a bit now, just short of a day later. Also changing in pitch/frequency. I do not think it's me 'getting used to' the difference.

Sunspots Of Interest / Flare Threat
October 1, 2024 @ 21:15 UTC
A number of sunspot regions to keep en eye on. AR 3841, 3842, 3843 and 3844 all showed growth on Tuesday, with a large sunspot group now turning into view from off the east limb. The chances for moderate M-Flares is now at an increased level with an isolated X-Flare not out of the question. The new region turning into view off the east limb appears to have formed around September 26th based on helioseismic imaging. It may have been the source of a couple of coronal mass ejections earlier this week. With the help of the large sunspots present, the solar flux index climbed to 245.

The second strongest detectable solar flare of the current solar cycle 25 was just observed around Earth facing AR 3842 peaking at 22:20 UTC. A type II radio emission with an estimated velocity of 1246 km/s was recorded. Stay tuned to SolarHam.com for the latest details regarding a possible CME.

There were a few times yesterday that tuning in some FM radio stations was difficult. I imagine there will be some worse comm issues in the next few days.

The whole country might be in for some auroral displays. If you look at weather maps there’s not more than a few drops of rain on gulf coast forecast for the next few weeks.

Major Solar Flare (X9)
October 3, 2024 @ 13:50 UTC (UPDATED)
A major X9.0 solar flare was just detected around Earth facing sunspot region 3842 at 12:18 UTC (Oct 3). This is the strongest X-Ray event of the current solar cycle. More details to follow regarding a possible CME.
CME Update: A coronal mass ejection (CME) with a halo signature is evident following the major X9.0 solar flare this morning. Because the source region AR 3842 is directly facing Earth, the plasma cloud appears to be aimed directly towards our planet. A further update will be provided later today once a CME tracking model becomes available. Please note that a faint CME associated with the X7 event on October 1st is expected to pass our planet sometime during the next few days. Aurora sky watchers at middle to high latitudes should have their camera batteries charged up should geomagnetic storming be observed as forecast.
