If you ask google, Libya still has S-300 systems.
If you ask google, Syria still has S-300 systems (and the are right next door to Israel).
If you ask google, Ukraine still has S-300 systems (and they have been at war against Russia for 2.5 years).

If you ask Ukraine, they have had near 100% success using S-300s to shoot down the almost 10,000 Russian missiles that have been launched over 2.5 years.

And now you stand up with a great shout and blaring trumpets, thumping on your chest that
in one night Israel has destroyed all of Iran's S-300s.

Santa Claus Lives!!!

How is this possibly true? WTF is wrong with Putin?

View attachment 508327
It's not. It's narrative rubbish. At least the part that says "...is now reliant on foreign support to keep his invasion going...".

At the beginning of the war the narrative was about using prison men to fight. Which they offered suspended sentences to if anyone of the non-violent men volunteered. Ran out of steam quick.

Next it was Foreign mercenaries under the Wagner Group. Which was also true. But hey the US has Blackwater (?)

Now it's NK's which is fine if they want to die in a foreign land. We have people from central America doing the same thing.

And you will also notice no mention of foreign troops in Ukraine fighting for Ukraine to keep the war going.

Like I said a rubbish narrative.

Yep, believing anything from NATO or Ukraine about anything Russia is worse than believing anything the (lunatic left / DS / never Trumpers ) say about Trump.

NATO and Ukraine have been in their own fantasy land since 2022. NATO can continue in it for years with their slow decline as a power base while Ukraine is already on borrowed time.

Good article - mainly on oil but bit of a SPIN on Reactor Fuel

There have been NO SACNTONS on Russian reactor fuel - the US did a cutout - not included for a simple reason - we can't produce any - and need Russian uranium.

From the article:
The U.S. is still paying Russia $1 billion a year for enriched uranium to help fuel 94 nuclear reactors that provide about a fifth of America's energy needs.

In May, Congress took notice and banned the import of Russian-enriched uranium. But the ban won't go into full effect for four years.

Sharyn Alfonsi: Does the U.S. have the capacity right now that it needs for enriched uranium?

Amir Vexler: No. So un-- unfortunately-- about 25% of it to 30% has been imported from Russia.

Sharyn Alfonsi: We don't have it.

Amir Vexler: Right. We-- we are dependent.

That's because the United States stopped making enriched uranium a decade ago. Amir Vexler runs Centrus Energy.

Last year, Centrus began enriching uranium inside this Piketon, Ohio facility. The only American company with that capability.

Vexler showed us how it's done -- those 40-foot-tall centrifuges spin uranium gas until it's enriched and can be used as nuclear fuel.

But these 16 centrifuges can only make a fraction of the enriched uranium the U.S. needs. See those squares…on the ground? Those are placeholders for 11 thousand more centrifuges Centrus wants to build.

Sharyn Alfonsi: And how long in the best-case scenario would it take to get those up and running?

Amir Vexler: It will take about six to seven years to get to full capacity.

Sharyn Alfonsi: And to not be reliant on Russia.

Amir Vexler: That is correct.

Lots of cutouts for materials we need - another example is Chromium - Russia is the worlds top producer and it is needed in steel production - so again - there is no direct ban on Russian chromium imports by the US government

Still trying to figure out what the angle is on this latest narrative - being spun up and pushed HARD - for some reason??

NK troops in Russia is no different than US troops in any NATO nation for joint training. Russia and NK have a simmilar defense pack.

Even if (still waiting on the video) they were to be sent to Kursk - that is still Russia!

Recall all of this has been pushed by unconfirmed "reports" from SK - still zero hard facts - likely NATO (US) is just confirming the report from SK - originally furnished to them by the US.

I did a big eye roll when NATO said it would come to the aid of Israel if they went to war with Iran.

Nice gesture, to be sure, with no merit. Lots of folks were going ra, ra.

Lots of numbers being tossed around - ZERO validity to any of them.
Actually there is still debate and research on the deaths from WWII - same with other wars.

What Russia or Ukraine has lost in the last 2+ years is for history - what is critical is what is happening today on the front.
As you well know - ground troops with NO AD or Air cover are just targets - that guy in the trench with just an M-4 vs a glide bomb - easy to call how that ends.

Georgia’s president accuses Russia of election meddling

Georgia’s president is urging the West to support opposition protests of the official results of a weekend parliamentary election in which the governing party was declared victorious amid voting irregularities and allegations of Russian meddling

President Salome Zourabichvili, who refused to recognize the official results, says the South Caucasus nation has fallen victim to Russian pressure aimed at derailing its plans to join the European Union. Zourabichvili, a fierce critic of the governing party, told The Associated Press that Georgia’s government has been “working hand-in-hand with Russia” and probably had help from Moscow’s security services. She has urged Georgians to protest in capital on Monday night

Likely we will get a variation of this in about a week or so - of Trump wins it will be because he was: “working hand-in-hand with Russia”

Georgia: Kremlin Rejects 'Election Interference' Charges As Tens Of Thousands Take To Streets

by Tyler Durden
Tuesday, Oct 29, 2024 - 01:45 AM
Russia has blasted widespread allegations that it interfered in this past weekend's parliamentary elections in Georgia. Instead, the Kremlin has turned the same accusation on the West.

"We strongly reject these accusations. There was no intervention. These accusations are completely unsubstantiated," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

"There are attempts to interfere, but not from Russia’s side," Peskov emphasized. "A huge number of forces from European countries and various European institutions have tried to influence the outcome of the vote. No one was even hiding this, these were public statements."
As we reviewed earlier:
In Georgia, the biggest ruling (and Kremlin-friendly) party Georgian Dream won 54% of the votes, according to the election commission. Its leader declared victory whilst the Georgian President, who is a supporter of greater EU-ties but lacks political power, called it a “Russian-style election”. At face value, it seems that Europe should not expect much rapprochement from the country any time soon.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili is actually calling on the West to support protests against the Georgian Dream party.

The opposition led by the United National Movement (UNM) is refusing to concede defeat, and officials in Washington and Brussels appear to be stoking anger - now spilling into the streets - claiming that "irregularities" in the election require an immediate and independent investigation.

And it hasn't taken long for Western press to echo the accusations of Moscow's interference. The Guardian issued a new headline saying that "In Georgia, Russia has just scored another victory against liberal democracy."

All of this has been a huge victory for pro-Russian billionaire backer of Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili. The Guardian has issued a litany of his and the party's offenses as follows:
Even citizens already disillusioned with Ivanishvili were shocked when the government chose to side openly with Moscow against Kyiv in 2022. Ukraine had stood by Georgia through all of its wars, including the most recent Russian invasion in 2008. The government’s position felt like a betrayal.
In the ensuing years, GD has passed repressive Russian-style laws, launching brutal crackdowns on activists, targeting the LGBTQ+ community and unleashing dirty disinformation campaigns straight out of the Kremlin playbook. By 2024, hundreds of thousands were taking part in regular anti-government demonstrations led by the youth demanding that Georgia stay on its European course.
The election was seen as the only democratic way of getting the country out of Ivanishvili’s and Russia’s tightening embrace – it was perhaps the most pivotal vote in the country’s history since the independence referendum in 1991. Polls, including traditionally reliable exit polls, put the opposition in a clear lead. On the day of the vote, the turnout was so high that in some polling stations people queued for hours to cast their ballots.
The same report cites a pro-EU organization to claim that ahead of and during the vote there was "intimidation, coercion and pressure on voters" as well as claims of ballot stuffing. However, what is lacking is any kind of definitive, bombshell proof. Instead all of this is likely to lead to more outrage and mayhem in the streets as Georgian Dream is given another mandate.

Tens of thousands of protesters have filled up Tbilisi's central squares overnight...

The West has had its eye on tiny Georgia after its parliament this summer passed a bill on foreign agents. The legislation requires any foreign group receiving more than 20% of their funding from overseas to formally register as "agents of foreign influence". Washington and Europe were outraged at the bill, which ironically looks much like similar laws in the US. Except in this case, US and EU-funded NGOs now have a harder time operating covertly inside Georgia.

Yet another MSM article attempting to change the narrative - no more talk of Ukrainian tanks in Red Square - now talk of how much of Ukraine will remain - if any.

Ukraine: Compromise or Collapse

The news from Ukraine’s front lines is grim.

Whoever wins the US election, the start of a new administration should be an opportunity for a serious reevaluation of US policy toward the war in Ukraine. For it is abundantly clear that the present course is unsustainable, and if persisted in, is likely to lead sooner or later either to Ukrainian collapse or to direct NATO involvement in war with Russia. This is indeed now tacitly admitted by some US commentators like Robert Kagan, though he has not been willing to tell Americans that they must go to war in order to prevent Ukrainian defeat or a compromise peace.

The news from the Ukrainian front line is grim. Ukrainian forces are heavily outnumbered and outmatched in artillery and ammunition. There are growing signs of exhaustion, demoralization, desertion, and evasion of service by both the elites and ordinary people. Russian success is grounded in the fact that Russia simply has far greater resources than Ukraine in terms of both industry and manpower. It has been able to recruit hundreds of thousands of new troops by paying them very high wages, up to six times the average salaries in the regions from which they are drawn.

Ukrainians and Western hawks claim that more Western weapons will make a critical difference; and indeed, if some of these had been provided in 2022, when the Russian armed forces were outnumbered and in serious disarray, they might have led to much greater Ukrainian success. Now however, so great is the Russian advantage that Western supplies can make little difference.

Western industry cannot produce anything like the number of artillery shells Ukraine needs;
the USA cannot provide sufficient air defense systems to Israel and Ukraine and keep enough for a possible war with China. And above all, NATO cannot manufacture more soldiers for Ukraine. The German government has already declared that it is freezing military aid, and will cut aid to Ukraine by almost half next year, and by more than 90 percent by 2027.

More in linked article - but I think you can get the drift.

Ukraine is now struggling to survive, not to win

Russia is slicing through Ukrainian defences in parts of the battlefield

AFTER 970 days of war,” said Lloyd Austin, America’s defence secretary, visiting Kyiv on October 21st, “Putin has not achieved one single strategic objective.” In public, Mr Austin offered certitude, confidence and clarity: “Moscow will never prevail in Ukraine.” In private, his colleagues in the Pentagon, Western officials and many Ukrainian commanders are increasingly concerned about the direction of the war and Ukraine’s ability to hold back Russian advances over the next six months.
