Has No Life - Lives on TB
Recent events regarding Russia make me nauseous. There is absolutely no reason for the US to have been antagonizing the Russians for all these years. When they were the Soviet Union, yes, I was a dedicated Cold warrior. Of course back then the Main Stream Media and the pundits just loved the Soviet Union. Now, since the Russians have thrown off the communist yoke, the MSM and the pundits do everything they can to demonize Russia and present it as a threat. Anyone see some inconsistencies, here???
President Trump came into office with an agenda to form better relations and closer ties with Russia. The Deep State has done absolutely everything in their power (which is staggeringly powerful still) to undermine that agenda and anyone with one half of an eyelid open can easily see that. We are alarmed by "provocative" Russian flights in (international waters) close to US and European borders? Guess what, gang? We, the US, do this on a daily basis! When the Russians do it, it's some dangerously destabilizing threat to peace. When we do it - yawn - it's just business as usual.
This Deep State circus is dangerous and irresponsible to a degree I would've never thought possible just a couple of years ago. If it continues, it's going to result in unanticipated consequences which will hurt the little people far more than the international elites.

It hasn't been commented on, but the long term goal of Russia, Czar included has been the securing of access to the Med, which Putin has now confirmed with his re occupation of the Crimea. he also has a warm water port in Basra, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan. All the rail lines being built as part of the New Silk Road are sending spurs from both Russia and China to Pakistan, India, Iran and Iraq.
Putin is going to do whatever is needed to remain in control of the Crimea and Ukraine, up to the Dnieper also.
The sending of nuclear capable bombers to Maduro is an act of war by Putin and is a clear indication that Alfa man's movement reports show me that at least some adults are in charge. Of course, now that Kelly is road kill things could get interesting. And yes, Russia almost certainly thinks the massive military dog and pony show in Nevada are telling them the USA can ship in a bunch of stuff to the Ukraine if they want to. Again, Putin looked at that and sent in his nuke bombers to South America. And the reason he sent in more S-400's to the Crimea is he plans to shoot down the "conga line" of air transports.

The entire reason for ALL OF THIS is the eastward expansion of NATO to the very borders of Russia. I feel sorry for the actual Ukrainian grunts because they are going to get crushed. by the way, Housecarl, the usual urban combat tactics are no longer relevant. If the Russians learned anything from fighting in Grozny, it is to just level the place, and then gas it, until even the cockroaches are dead. If any Ukrainians want to do an Alamo in Maripol, then Putin is just going to KILL THEM ALL TO THE LAST PRIVATE.
I also don't get why people think Putin isn't the ruthless, superpatriot, bastard that he is. We really haven't seen Putin in full Vlad the Impaler mode, but be patient. When the corpses are piled up five feet high, from Maripol to Kiev you will understand what Doomer Doug is talking about.
My personal favorite is the Ukrainian claim that the US was going to send a warship into the sea of Azov. That got shut down quick while I was wondering what shallow draft ships do we have nearby. None, although the LCS would fit nicely. The Russians have multiple shallow draft combat and patrol ships in the area. Really? A big US warship in a shallow water sea (46ft max) among all that commercial traffic. Everyone knows how NATO ships fare around slow moving channel traffic. HAHAHAHA

Boom! and there it is folks-the canal in Kherson oblast. The Crimea is suffering a shortage of water (more acute than the yearly US shortages out west) and they need that water. The North Crimean canal was blocked off by the Ukranians after the Russians took the Crimea, and the Crimea is now short a few million gallons of water per day. Short to the point Russia has to truck in water for the population.
That is an early objective in any Russian invasion of the Ukraine-secure the canal, blow the dam in place and let the water flow back into the Crimea again.
While I am surprised nobody in the intel community has mentioned this so far; the canal and water sources are a primary objective to take over.
The Russians want their breadbasket back and the water that comes with it..........

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to free 24 Ukrainian sailors who were captured near the Kerch Strait in the Black Sea on November 25. Merkel had a telephone conversation with Putin on Monday, December 10; it took place on her initiative, the Ukrainian media outlet lb.ua reported with reference to an official announcement on Merkel's website. The main subject of the conversation was the situation in the Kerch Strait. Merkel, in particular, stressed the need for ensuring unimpeded passage of ships through the strait. the two leaders discussed gas transit shipments through Ukraine after 2019, when the current contract between Ukraine's oil and gas company Naftogaz and Russia's gas giant Gazprom is to expire. Merkel and Putin also talked about the situation in Syria, in particular discussed the formation of a constitutional committee. They also touched on the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty). As UNIAN reported earlier, on the morning of November 25, Russia blocked the passage to the Kerch Strait for the Ukrainian tugboat "Yany Kapu" and two armored naval boats "Berdyansk" and "Nikopol," which were on a scheduled re-deployment from the Black Sea port of Odesa to the Azov Sea port of Mariupol. The Ukraine Navy Command noted that the Russian side had been informed of the plans to re-deploy the vessels in advance in accordance with international standards to ensure the safety of navigation. The Russian coast guard ship "Don" rammed the Ukrainian tugboat, damaging the Ukrainian vessel. As the Ukrainian boats were heading back in the Odesa direction after being rejected passage via the Kerch Strait, Russian coast guards opened aimed fire on them. All 24 crew members on board were captured and later remanded in custody for two months, being charged with "illegal border crossing" (the sailors are facing up to six years in prison). Three crewmen were wounded in the attack. Russian-controlled "courts" in occupied Crimea ruled that all 24 detainees should be remanded in custody, after which they were transferred to the Moscow-based Lefortovo and Matrosskaya Tishina detention centers.

DPR shows classified document proving Kiev’s plans for large-scale offensive Donetsk, Dec 7 – DAN. Ukrainian authorities plan to use more than 90 hospitals across the country to treat injured servicemen during the offensive in Donbass, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
“The lists of hospitals to be used for treatment of injured servicemen have been drawn in cooperation with the administrations of regions where martial law was declared. They include 90-plus hospitals with the total capacity of 41,000.”
In other hospitals, 8,000 beds are prepared.
Basurin presented a classified letter to the JFO commander Sergey Naev sent by the head of medical aid organization and development department of the health department of Donetsk regional state administration Natalia Philippova and obtained by the DPR Intelligence.
The document descries plans to prepare additional beds in hospitals of eight regional centers and to assign medical deans in DPR towns after they are “liberated” by the Ukrainian army. This is a strong proof of Kiev’s plans to launch a large-scale offensive in Donbass, Basurin said.
Earlier DPR Intelligence reported British military experts arrival to Ukrainian-occupied Artyemovsk to prepare chemical attacks in the DPR north and that Kiev developed a plan to carry out sabotage act at the Stirol plant to deflect DPR forces and penetrate the DPR territory.
Ukraine declared martial law on November 26 in ten Ukrainian regions adjacent to Russia and Transnistria, or Kiev-controlled Donbass regions, or the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
Martial law is brought in all over the state or in designated areas in accordance with the bill “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law”. Well, I was always taught that Russia was considered "Eurasia", and amalgam of Europe and Asia, though I would agree that Moscow is geographically closer to Europe, true. It does provide a rationale for propagandists to draw convenient distinctions. It's also worth noting that not all propaganda are lies.
