Big win for #publicrecords in #California - state Supreme Court rules that local agencies cannot charge the public to redact police body cam footage. This should free a lot of video under #SB1421. Some cities wanted $100K plus in redaction costs. #FOIA

Oakland police deployed gas. Thousands of protesters are fleeing Broadway, many obviously impaired by the chemicals. #GeorgeFloydprotest

350 troopers to clear area near Minneapolis police precinct
From CNN’s Jennifer Henderson

The Minneapolis Department of Public Safety said on its official Twitter account that 350 troopers are near the city's 5th precinct to clear the area and enforce curfew.
It comes after a number of protesters earlier ignored calls from police and state officials to return to their homes after an 8 p.m. curfew was established for the weekend in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz called for residents to obey the curfew.
"I urge residents to comply with 8pm curfew and go home immediately. Law enforcement needs to respond to emergencies, restore order, and keep Minnesotans safe," Walz said in a tweet.
The Minnesota National Guard, State Patrol, and local police are on the ground responding to incidents in Mpls-St. Paul. I urge residents to comply with 8pm curfew and go home immediately. Law enforcement needs to respond to emergencies, restore order, and keep Minnesotans safe.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has declared an unlawful assembly in the downtown area of the city, with officials telling CNN that protesters will be arrested if they disobey the order and stay there.
"We have declared an unlawful assembly throughout Downtown LA. From the 10 freeway to the 101 & the 110 freeway to Alameda. This is being made following repeated acts of violence & property damage. Residents should stay inside. Business should close. Those on the street are to leave the area," LAPD said in a statement.
The LAPD said two officers were injured in protests Friday night.
"There was one officer that got hurt at 7:32 this evening and was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Also, at 8:39, an officer needed help after he was hit with a bottle at Seventh St. and Hope St. and was also transported to the hospital. I don't have their conditions because the situation is still quite fluid," the LAPD said in a statement.

Um, the optics of deploying active duty Military Police to maintain civilian order, in civilian cities because civilian political and law enforcement leadership is too incompetent to do so is bad, bad, bad. I can tell you from multiple years of dealing with these types in Portland that when the bona fide federales show up, in Minneapolis, military police types, it will be, whatever is said, viewed as martial law and I can GUARANTEE YOU. the Marxists will go F#%^^^ NUTS. Bad move by Trump, very bad. It will be viewed as an act of war by the left and they will react to it as such. Civil War Two has now begun. It is only a matter of time before the Marxists do indeed go to phase two.

I have to admit, I am loving this on so many levels. To watch sooo many blue cities burn is just a wonderful thing on such a nice weekend here. I'll be grilling chicken wings and kielbasa this weekend. Clear skies, 70's, just perfect. Doing some gardening, moving firewood. Gonna be GREAT!! (Best Tony the Tiger sound...).
And, then your tax dollars get to pay for it all...

Still loving it?

It is probably the view of POTUS after the last 5 years that it has already begun and it is time to act accordingly....Sulla and REX'84 being likely in the contingency planning the same as Lincoln's and Wilson's moves.....(and I don't say that with any glee.)

Where are all those crowd control toys all those federal grants paid for? Water cannon, sonic cannon which cause a splitting headache and make you so sick you vomit and can't protest.

Where are the tactics such as kettling?

It is as if all the cops in the country turned into Barnie Fife. There are ways to get all of this under control and they aren't using many of them. Commies in the precincts and local government? You betcha.

Why the push to the Whitehouse? Why is China going for Taiwan this weekend as well as staging on the Chinese-Indian border? What if there was more going on in Washington DC right now than homegrown protesters? What if there were some better trained foreign troops in with that bunch? You can cover a lot with chaos, especially when you control the media that reports on it.

Looking back at the exchange, it wasn't you who replied to me, but Night Driver. I am so sorry. These things move faster that I do sometimes. That was genuinely embarrassing.

I was replying to: GOV/MIL - Donald Trump Threatens Regulation or Shutdown of Social Media Companies

Despite giving it lots of thought, I couldn't come up with a better way to deal with the situation than I gave. My solution was temporary and only involved the wrongdoers, but still I felt like it was half a solution.
No problem, buddy...

I run my mouth a lot, so I was like, "Ooooh... What did I say???"

We cool!

Sulla was either a nationalist Roman Patriot, Housecarl or a murderous, psychotic monster depending on your view of Roman history. Yep, the thing is once you really do start using real, live active duty combat troops to impose order on hordes of violent, morons, you don't get to back off of that. Soros is sure getting his $18 billion investment well spent.

And if it is really "going there", considering what is "common knowledge" about these people behind the curtain, I sincerely do not expect a lot of them to go unscathed if and when this really gets rolling. Lists in this day and age are really too easy to compile.

OK, I'm out. Time for some relaxing crime shows to send me off to slumber land. Let me know if they burn down everything around.

Where is Jack the Ripper when you need him. Yeah, a good serial psycho from Criminal Minds and some wine would hit the spot. Or maybe the fall of the Roman Empire with Stephen Boyd running around the Empire bashing in some barbarian heads? :vik:

What the blacks are doing in it self is a series of crime's. The cop has been fired and FBI is also investigating the matter and from what been talked about the officer will be brought to court so the justice system is working as it was intended to in this country.
So they have no reason to be breaking into stores and looting or burning the city down, they are using this event as an excuse to do these things and they should not be allowed to get away with it.

The number of likes I got on this just shows I'm not alone.
