I shouldn't write "never," but I'm unhappy with what little peer-reviewed literature I've seen. There are too many
unknowns for me to get any new vaccine right now. I don't have a clear understanding of how the vaccines might
impact my immune system down the road. Scientists don't know for sure, either, at this point.
I have done my due diligence in getting away from Internet woo and looking at "real science," (medical journals in the college databases) but truth is that these vaccines were rushed into production, and there is not a lot of reputable studies out at this point.
Thus, I am going to wait, and if that means putting off travel or getting different employment to avoid "vaccine passports," then I will do so because the risks outweigh the benefits for me at this point.
I reserve the right to change my mind as more reputable data becomes available.
I am also boosting my immune system, eating well, and avoiding crowds. I know that COVID is real and has
killed people. I'm taking a reasoned approach to this threat.
