Reporter: How would you sum up the real world damage this sham audit has done to our election integrity our, faith in the process in Arizona and also around the country?
They’re gaining, you know, support as people see the big lie unraveling!Hobbs: Well, its damage is the right word here, and the folks who initiated this have said that their intent is to bolster election integrity and in fact, they’re doing exactly the opposite. They’re continuing to sow doubt among those folks who already want to believe that there was fraud in the election. And these folks are unfortunately being misled by elected leaders who know better, they know that there was no fraud in the election, but for whatever reason, they’re gaining, you know, it’s, it’s furthering their political agenda to continue this, this big lie. And it’s it’s really unfortunate and it is doing damage, not just to folks’ confidence in the 2020 election but elections moving forward.
Senator Mastriano Responds to false statements made by Senator Jake Corman
In his initial statement on, Friday, August 20, Senator Corman claimed that he was replacing me as lead for the audit because I was “retreating grandstanding and uninterested in getting things done.”
Senator Corman is not being honest. The truth is we spent months briefing Senator Corman and other leadership on our plan. During those many months, Senator Corman either avoided me or repeatedly stonewalled us.
On July 6, I spoke with Senator Corman. during that conversation, I communicated my intent to issue letters to three counties requesting that they cooperate with a full forensic investigation of the 2020 General and 2021 primary elections. Senator Corman demanded that I NOT send those letters. After months of his obstruction, it was time to move forward. The next day, with consent of my committee, I sent the letters. I was done waiting — and done letting Corman put the people off to no end.
After the expiration of the July 31 compliance, I twice attempted to move forward with subpoenas, but Senator Corman put a stop to it. I scheduled two separate meetings for the purpose of issuing subpoenas to those three counties.
The first meeting was scheduled for August 6, and after Senator Corman blocked that meeting from happening, I rescheduled the meeting for August 18. Senator Corman’s office stopped that meeting from taking place as well. This is obstruction by someone not wanting an audit.
If there was someone “retreating” from an investigation of the 2020 election, it was Senator Corman. While Senator Corman made a 22-year career as a politician, I served for 30 years as a soldier in the US Army. I served along the Iron Curtain, and I fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. I never retreated in the face of evil, and I was not going to retreat in the face of Corman’s repeated attempts to thwart a forensic investigation.
Two days after Senator Corman obstructed my August 18 attempt to issue subpoenas, I made the very difficult decision to tell Pennsylvanians the truth about why the forensic investigation was at a standstill. With heavy heart, I appeared on Bannon’s war room on Friday, August 20. Moments after my appearance, Senator Corman nervously called into the same program and announced that he was stripping me of the investigation he’d worked so long and hard to obstruct. Moments after Senator Corman’s appearance on that show, I was also informed that he’d stripped me of my committee, and he removed my entire capital staff, leaving me with no ability to serve my constituents in Harrisburg — a move many of my fellow senators feel was an outrageous and unprecedented move unbecoming of a Senate leader.
I don’t know why Senator Corman obstructed my investigation for so long or why he has now hijacked it. What I do know is that if it was up to Senator Corman, there would be no investigation for him to steal. What I also know is that no matter who leads it, the investigation must go forward. I know that the people of Pennsylvania will never settle for a symbolic investigation. They deserve nothing less than a full forensic investigation that gets to the bottom of what happened in the 2020 election, and I’ll be a relentless voice to make sure that’s exactly what happens. I haven’t, and will not retreat.
The question is why Jake Corman went from ten months of obstructing a forensic investigation to suddenly hijacking it and maligning the hard work we put into making this happen. The people need answers.

They’re out to destroy all of us who disagree with Nancy Pelosi and any of you who believe something different than what they believe.”Not just that but the unprecedented abuse of power by the Speaker of the House. Tucker, I’ll tell you that with everything going on in Afghanistan, everything going on in Capitol Hill this week, most of my Republican colleagues have no idea that this is happening. They’re about to find out about it. This serves as a wake-up call to all Republicans, that these authoritarian Democrats aren’t playing a game.
Ward: The Arizona audit team has delivered a partial report to the Arizona State Senate on the full forensic audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election. Now, there might be a slight delay because three of the five auditors preparing the report for the audit team have come down with COVID. The report is coming though folks.
Now we wish everyone, all of those guys who have COVID a swift recovery, a speedy recovery please please keep them all in your prayers. And also remember that this is only a partial report because the audit team didn’t receive the images of the mail-in ballot envelopes until last Thursday, and they still don’t have the routers, the Splunk logs, or the tokens to enter the machines.
There are just under 2 million ballot envelope images that they have got to review to get into the final report. Senate President Karen fan said that the Senate audit and legal team will start reviewing the draft report today for accuracy, for clarity, and to make sure that there is adequate documentation for findings that are included in this report.
Now I’m very, very glad about this because we all know that the Democrats do not want this report released at all. And we all know that this is probably going to end up in court at some point. The state senate has nine people working on that audit and legal team, and once that team is satisfied with the report they are going to release it to the Senate Judiciary Committee that issued the subpoenas and to the public.
The audit opponents of course are out in full force. Now last week two of them held a press conference to refute a report that hadn’t even been filed with the State Senate. It was a prebuttal. Recorder Richer is actually trying to raise money, telling the public how great his predecessor, Adrian Fontas is. I don’t know, is he doing a joint fundraising event with him for Fontes’ run for secretary of state?
If Adrian is so fine, why did we need Richard to replace him? just some things to think about. Other jokers are out there and they just keep repeating the same things they’ve said for the last several months, about the county having done two small scale recounts with people involved in choosing the equipment in the first place, and calling those recounts audits. They have nothing to do, absolutely nothing to do with a full forensic audit. I remind you that a full forensic audit of one of our elections has never been done, ever before. This is all unprecedented.
Here’s some other problems, a person on social media, who actually happened to be a critic of the audit graciously wished the audit team members who were sick with COVID to get well soon.
And of course, they were attacked viciously for caring. The haters are much, much happier when they could pat anonymous keyboard warriors who hope people suffer or die on the back. It is a sick, sick world we’re living in folks, and it really does sadden me that there are people so set on denouncing this search for facts, a search for the truth that they actually want the people who are involved, to come to harm. It shows you the mindset we’re up against, and why we must stay firm. It is just another reason why we, here at the Arizona Republican Party, it’s always American first. I’ll see you soon.
A federal judge on Wednesday ordered sanctions against attorneys involved in bringing a legal challenge against Michigan’s 2020 election results, including Trump allies Sidney Powell and Lin Wood.
U.S. District Court Judge Linda Parker ordered the attorneys to pay the legal fees of the city and state elections officials involved in the case and referred them to disciplinary authorities in their home district for investigation into whether more serious penalties, including disbarment, are warranted.
In a 110-page decision, Parker blasted the lawyers for seeking to undermine the election results with baseless claims of systemic election fraud.
“The attorneys who filed the instant lawsuit abused the well-established rules applicable to the litigation process by proffering claims not backed by law; proffering claims not backed by evidence (but instead, speculation, conjecture, and unwarranted suspicion); proffering factual allegations and claims without engaging in the required prefiling inquiry; and dragging out these proceedings even after they acknowledged that it was too late to attain the relief sought,” Parker, an Obama appointee, wrote.
“And this case was never about fraud—it was about undermining the People’s faith in our democracy and debasing the judicial process to do so,” she continued.
Powell and Wood did not immediately respond when asked for comment.
The lawsuit, filed just weeks after Election Day last year, accused public officials of illegally manipulating ballots in order to assist President Biden in getting elected and sought to decertify Michigan’s vote count.
Last month, Parker grilled the plaintiffs’ attorneys in a contentious virtual hearing over their work on the case, raising concerns that they used dubious evidence to support arguments for extreme requests of the court.
Wood argued during the hearing that he had had only minimal involvement in the Michigan case, while Powell vigorously defended the legal team’s conduct and the case that they built.
I don’t know what to think about this to be honest. While I’m certainly not inclined to trust an Obama appointee judge, I also think Lin Wood is a crackpot after the crap he pulled during the last election. And regarding Sidney Powell, I want to like her but none of her claims have come to fruition anywhere. In other words, where’s the meat? Is this just a giant conspiracy against her or does she simply not have the proof that she claimed to have.“I have practiced law for 43 years and have never witnessed a proceeding like this,” Powell said during the hearing.. “I take full responsibility for the pleadings in this case.”
Prebuttals. Making an ass of yourself before necessary. The audit’s opponents started releasing all of their defenses and prebuttals before the report was even delivered.
If the county fails to resolve this violation of the law within 30 days, the State Treasurer shall withhold 10% of state shared funds from the County.“We are notifying the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that it must fully comply with the Senate’s subpoena as required by the law,” said Attorney General Mark Brnovich. “Our courts have spoken. The rule of law must be followed.”
The County has obstructed this process every step of the way. Recently, they decided to purchase $2.8 MILLION worth of new fraudulent Dominion voting machines, claiming that the machines could not be used after a full forensic audit.Finchem: I am of the opinion that the entire cost of the audit should be billed back to the county for the delays and legal hoops that the Senate has had to go through just to do its job.
Gosar: For months the same question comes up: what are the supervisors hiding? It’s not like it was their personal election that belongs to them. It was a public event. With public money. Let the auditors audit. If no errors great. Thx @GeneralBrnovich for seeking truth
Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that his office (AGO) determined the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) is in violation of state law for failing to comply with the Arizona Senate’s legislative subpoena related to the 2020 election audit. If MCBOS does not change course, the AGO will notify the Arizona Treasurer to withhold Maricopa County’s state-shared funds as required under the law.
“We are notifying the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that it must fully comply with the Senate’s subpoena as required by the law,” said Attorney General Mark Brnovich. “Our courts have spoken. The rule of law must be followed.”
Today’s decision stems from a “SB 1487” complaint filed by Senator Sonny Borrelli under A.R.S. § 41-194.01, which authorizes any legislator to request the Attorney General investigate a county or city alleged to be in violation of state law. On July 26, 2021, Arizona Senate President Karen Fann and Senator Warren Petersen (Senators) issued a subpoena to MCBOS related to the Senate’s audit of the 2020 election. The Senators requested six categories of items for production by August 2, 2021, including routers and network logs.
MCBOS objected to the requested information, and to date, has not provided all of the subpoenaed materials. Moreover, in its response to the AGO, MCBOS failed to explain why it is not required to comply with the legislative subpoena. Its only response was that the Arizona Senate is not currently in session, so MCBOS could not be held in contempt.
If MCBOS fails to resolve the violation within 30 days, the AGO, in accordance with state law, will notify the Arizona Treasurer to withhold state revenue from Maricopa County until MCBOS complies. More information on “SB 1487” investigations can be found here.
The Maricopa County Superior Court previously affirmed that the Senate has the power to issue legislative subpoenas related to election reform and has broad discretion to determine what additional information is needed.
When MCBOS refused to comply earlier this year, the Court ruled the subpoenas did not violate the separation of powers principles, and producing subpoenaed materials would not violate confidentiality. The majority of MCBOS publicly welcomed that decision after it came out and chose not to appeal (More here). The legal principles announced in that decision are no less persuasive or binding today.
Attorney General Brnovich has consistently recognized the Senate’s authority to conduct the audit and issue legislative subpoenas related to the 2020 election. In December 2020, the AGO wrote this amicus brief in support of the Senate’s authority.
Arizona Representative Mark Finchem who is running for Arizona Secretary of State shared this:The Arizona Audit of the 2020 election is still underway. At this time, the AGO has not received any official report related to the Senate’s audit, but stands ready to review the official findings and any information submitted after a final report is completed by the Senate.
According to the Washington Examiner.I am pleased to see that the Arizona Attorney General has reinforced the rule of law and is compelling a lawless political subdivision to do what it promised to do on December 14, 2020. In fact, I am of the opinion that the entire cost of the audit should be billed back to the county for the delays and legal hoops that the Senate has had to go through just to do its job.”
According to county and state estimates, the state provides about $700 million a year to the county, over a quarter of its $2.7 billion budget.
The National Association of Secretaries of State approved a series of recommendations for audits aimed at combating Arizona-style, slapdash reviews of the 2020 election and future races.
These Secretaries don’t want to use third-party vendors. They have too much at stake letting anybody but a handpicked, closely related vendor scrutinize the election they ran.The guidelines also call for auditors to be wary of third-party involvement, saying outside participants should be determined prior to the election and work closely with election officials.
REP. MARK FINCHEM RESPONDS TO THOSE WHO SEEK TO PREVENT FORENSIC AUDITS OF ELECTIONS WHERE THERE ARE CONTROVERSIES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUGUST 25, 2021, Oro Valley, AZ
A few days ago the National Association of Secretaries of State, at their summer meeting in Des Moines, Iowa, approved recommendations for elections audits. Their goal was, “to create guidelines that would prevent a Maricopa-style forensic audit from ever happening again.” Only West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner voted against the recommendations, and Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft abstained.
“There also seems to be movement toward a campaign intended to promote the management of the perception of elections through non-profits and religious group influencers as opposed to support for improvements in election integrity such as defect elimination. This sounds much more like a propaganda program than process excellence —Six Sigma— systems analysis for elimination of process defects.
“Never in the history of the several States, or even in the history of the United States, have the People surrendered their right to fully scrutinize any election. Such scrutiny goes beyond recounts. It is the Legislature, that is the duly elected representatives of the people, who control this aspect of our consent to be governed, not Secretaries of State, who are executive branch office holders, or appointed, unelected bureaucrats. To prevent any form of audit is not the proper role of the Secretary of State, instead their role is to faithfully execute the laws that Legislature has adopted.
“Because of the underlying political questions involving elections, there will always be disagreement on how to handle discrepancies. But nobody can, with a straight face, say that every election is fraud-free. It is the prerogative of a free people to hold their elected representatives accountable for the examination of elections results to prove or disprove alleged discrepancies in any electoral contest. How a Legislature chooses to address those discrepancies is its prerogative, attempting to change the perception the polity is little more than manipulation.
“I fully support forensic audits when called for at the discretion of the Legislature of competent jurisdiction. I also support systemic improvements such as multi-factor authentication and ballot fraud countermeasures such as those now in Arizona law A.R.S. § 16-504, to minimize the need for forensic audits in the future.
Ward: We have breaking news from the Attorney General of Arizona, regarding Maricopa County, breaking the law by refusing to comply with lawful subpoenas, from the Arizona State Senate.
But I want to start today by expressing my deepest condolences to the families of Americans that have lost their lives in the explosions in Afghanistan, especially the American troops that were just killed in the bombing, outside of the Kabul airport. I am so angry because it did not have to be this way. Deciding to leave Afghanistan was the right thing to do, just as President Trump planned to get Americans out of endless Middle Eastern wars. But bungling it in the horrific way that Biden has, has now led to Americans losing their lives.
Democrats are putting in overtime to spend this withdrawal as successful, and claiming that Biden defies expectations and delivers results in Afghanistan. I actually have to say that I agree with them. We weren’t expecting much from this administration at all, but Biden has so massively botched this withdrawal. It has truly defied our expectations. We’re going to continue to keep the people of Afghanistan and the Americans stranded there, abandoned there by Joe Biden and his puppeteers, in our thoughts and in our prayers and I hope you will too.
Now to bring it back home, as I mentioned at the top of this update, there are significant developments regarding the Arizona audit, America’s audit. Arizona attorney general Mark Brnovich announced that his office has determined that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, is, is in violation of state law for failing to comply with the Arizona Senate subpoenas related to the 2020 election audit. If the Board of Supervisors does not change its course, the Attorney General will notify the state treasurer to withhold their allocated state funds until the board complies. This can be as much as $70 million. And according to state law, they have 30 days to comply. Both the courts and the Attorney General have spoken.
I believe the board of supervisors must give the audit team, the routers, Splunk logs, access tokens, and anything else that they have withheld from this audit team. The delay tactics and legal gaslighting have got to stop. The American people deserve to know that our elections are fair and legal.

The House committee probing the Jan. 6 riots is demanding over a dozen social media companies hand over extensive records related to the events at the Capitol.
The Select Committee investigating the Capitol riot sent letters dated Aug. 26 to Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube and Reddit, along with Parler, TikTok, 4chan and seven other social media platforms asking them to provide all documents, data and other information related to the Capitol riot since April 2020.
The 15 social media companies are.The committee requested documents concerning “misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation relating to the 2020 election,” efforts to overturn the election, “domestic violent extremists,” and foreign influence. The committee also asked for internal documents and communications on how the social media companies’ algorithms may have contributed to the events at the Capitol.
“The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol is examining the facts, circumstances, and causes of the attack and relating to the peaceful transfer of power, in order to identify and evaluate lessons learned and to recommend corrective laws, policies, procedures, rules, or regulations,” Rep. Bennie Thompson, the committee’s chair, said in a statement.
The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.
Gab CEO Andrew Torba responded to the committee with this letter:Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.
“Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases,” said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. “Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”
Yesterday evening Gab received a letter from the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Protest at the United States Capitol.

By way of further background about our company, Gab exists to promote freedom of speech, by which we mean all speech which is protected speech under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. No more, no less.
Accordingly we have a zero-tolerance policy towards threats of violence and unlawful speech. As to controversial but nonetheless legal speech we believe, as Justice Brandeis did, that “sunlight is the best disinfectant, electric light the most efficient policeman.”
We have been boycotted by virtually every company in Silicon Valley because of our adherence to this moderation policy. In their zeal to bend to “woke” political agendas or outside pressure groups, our contemporaries in the Valley forget the social importance of letting off steam and of exposing bad ideas, and bad people, to public scrutiny.
As we are a free to use online publishing platform, it is inevitable that criminal actors will seek to abuse our services, as indeed they abuse all online services. We work hard to ensure that our services are denied to these bad actors.
For example, in the lead-up to the inauguration, we were made aware of a number of accounts which sought to spread division and fear through the use of unlawful threats. All accounts of this type that have been discovered have been banned on discovery, including at least one account which published threats against a number of U.S. election officials and was the subject of significant media coverage, including media coverage which incorrectly stated that we failed to take action against the subject account.
We look forward to getting in touch with the Committee in the coming weeks especially given the recent news that the FBI has found “scant evidence that the Jan. 6 event at the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.”

The complaint comes days after the hyper-partisan Democrat and Trump-hating RINO controlled January 6th Select Committee demanded documents pertaining to communications from the Trump administration to notable speakers or organizers of a rally held on the night of January 5th and the infamous January 6th rally that featured President Donald Trump. Both rallies focused heavily on the well-documented election fraud during the 2020 elections and were collectively attended by hundreds of thousands of patriots from across the United States who refused to remain silent and let the Democrats get away with stealing the election from President Trump. We here at Citizens Against Political Persecution have been fighting for the January 6th detainees for months now. The government continues to unconstitutionally detain our fellow American citizens and we feel that submitting this letter to the United Nations is the next logical step towards justice. Hopefully the United Nations hears our plea, as we are the voices of the unheard political prisoners right now who are not able to speak for themselves.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) said on Friday that 82,766 mail ballots sent to voters in Wisconsin’s November 2020 presidential election “went missing or undeliverable,” a number more than four times greater than Joe Biden’s 20,682 vote certified margin of victory in the state.
The report showed that, unlike the results of the 2012 and 2016, the number of “missing or undeliverable” mail ballots in 2020 exceeded the margin of victory in the election to determine which presidential candidate would be awarded the state’s ten electoral college votes.
In 2020, for instance, 1.4 million ballots were mailed to Wisconsin voters, which was 86 percent of the 1.6 million votes cast.
Of those 1.4 million mail ballots, 76,308 were classified as “unknown,” while 6,458 were classified as “undeliverable.” Combining those two classifications, 82,766 mail ballots were either “unknown” or “undeliverable,” a number that is 400 percent greater than Biden’s certified 20,682 margin of victory in the state over former President Donald Trump.
In 2016, just 158,846 ballots were mailed to Wisconsin voters, a mere 11 percent of the 1.4 million votes cast in that election.
Of those 158,846 mail ballots, 11,138 were classified as “unknown,” while 1,846 were classified as “undeliverable.” Combining those two classifications, 12,984 mail ballots were either “unknown” or “undeliverable,” a number that is only 47 percent of Donald Trump’s certified 27,257 vote margin of victory in the state over Hillary Clinton.
“What that tells us is the system is screwed up, that it broke down,” Adams said of the Wisconsin mail ballot report. In 2012, 54,077 mail ballots were “undeliverable or unknown,” which was a mere 26 percent of Barack Obama’s 205,204 vote certified margin of victory in the state over Mitt Romney (all emphases added).
“How do you fix this so it doesn’t happen again?” Boyle asked.Private funding of election administration was virtually unknown in the American political system until the 2020 presidential election, when Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan donated $350 million to the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL), which provided funding to county and municipal governments around the country for election administration, and $69 million to the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR), which provided funding to 23 state governments, primarily through the Secretary of State’s office, also for the funding of election administration.

Wisconsin “lost track” of roughly 82,000 mail-in ballots in the state in the 2020 presidential election, the Daily Signal reported.
Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump by 20,682 votes in Wisconsin last November.
We’ve known there were many material issues with the results in Wisconsin. Ballots were dropped in the middle of the night, all for Biden.Wisconsin losing track of more than 82,000 mail-in ballots in the state represents more than four times the margin of difference between Biden and Trump, according to a report from the nonprofit Public Interest Legal Foundation.
