I wash my clothes as usual and add Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. I have been doing that since I had to use a public laundry. And now since I fly 4 times a week I do it all the time.

Thank you! I did not even know this product was a thing. Adding it to my list!

Note for others: On its website, it only talks about it killing bacteria. However, product ads for it mention that it also kills Covid-19 virus.

We have a case in SW VA.

It's been well seeded.

Kinda reminds me of the early days, so long ago... Say early 2020.

I'm operating on the assumption that due to many factors, the actual number of exposed (not necessarily infected) is on the order of 5x - 10x the number being currently reported as 'cases'.

We'll see in the next few weeks if this continues to expand at the current rate...

I have not, but indications are that if you are old enough to have had a smallpox vaccination, you may still harbor fairly robust antibodies.

Most others are essentially naive to this virus, and likely subject to it's effects.

Just from what I've been reading.

One question I have, is whether a general suppression of the Innate Immune System would increase either the ease of infection or the severity - or both.

My WAG is yes. Just like the other spikes in disease we are seeing lately.

Indicators, (possibly an answer?), would be in the data from the previous 4-5 weeks of infections, should any 'Authority' with access to the data actually be interested in the question... But they seem to be lacking curiosity - or not discussing it publicly.

Funny, that.

Hey, be careful. Epsom salt is not eye wash.

We all need to be careful not to give wrong information.

Ah, I misread your post.

However, there are many recipes on the net for a mild solution - to clean eyes.

As I said above, hadn't verified it yet...

Goodness before greatness.
Fomites. Blankets. Any goods on the shelf or delivered. If it's deliberately aerosolized, think of that movie with George C. Scott screaming about anthrax.

•So, the media has brokered us The MP Outbreak of X-number + of cases as an imported ‘off continent’ gay man’s gift to bi-sexual America et.al.

•The type of sex two males have with each other will manifest pox sores in one nether-region that could also be similarly tainted by imported tissue paper, exposed to infectious fomites.

I was at CVS today looking for an 02 finger cuff for home prep-use. China-China-China-

WTH! GERMANY?

SOLD!

You're right,it IS a pain in the rear lol.
I have been doing all those things since Covid started, but I had stopped taking a shower after I go out,I just change clothes.
That’s what we’ve been doing. Outside shoes left in the car, inside shoes worn from car to just inside door, walk barefoot or in slippers to bedroom, old clothes off, wash hands, new clothes on. Looks like we’ll have to up our game. It’s about to get really uncomfortable. :(

Every day since 7th May, I've been tracking the cumulative world wide cases. The data is not scientifically pure, because the trackers I've used has changed, and I record the numbers in the morning each day, but not always at the exact same time, and of course the weekends have gaps of reporting. And I've made many adjustments along the way, as well. These are my current projections based on my mid-case growth rate.

That’s why I’ve stick with one, pox case counter or site.
It might not be the perfect one to follow but im trying to “measure oranges to oranges” by sticking to one measuring tool.

True and I agree, but my original chosen pox case counter became defunct & when I started there were no counters.

If you have had monkey pox will that protect you against smallpox? If you have worked a lot with cows (cowpox) will that protect you against monkey pox? Does having had chicken pox offer any protection against monkey pox?
