Israel would be justified in doing most anything to bring these rocket attacks to an end. Think about it! How does a civil society endure these attacks day after day, week after week, month after month and even year after year, and not crack?

I'm guessing that the probable plan to rotate those 40,000 reservists call-ups is out the window. Add to that, I'd expect to see a full call-up at this point and a ROE that is going to make the boys at Foggy Bottom have a fit. And if Hezbollah is dumb enough to get into this mix they'll deserve what they get. I really don't think Hamas, Islamic Jihad or Hezbollah are going to get the deal Arafat and the PLO got back in 1982 to get out of Beirut.

The Israelis need to systemically attack Gaza, block by block until its nothing but rubble far enough back that Israel is outta range.

C-130s and F-15Is (IDF "Es") along with F-16s.
ETA: To push Hamas' launch sites back "far enough" would mean they'd be 30 miles into "the Med".
