Matt, a USA expat in China with his Chinese wife and daughter leave for their evacuation out of China through Hong Kong. They will end up in Detroit, I believe. (EDIT: They are in Chicago self quarantining.)

He said when they arrived at Chicago, they did not have a health screening or their temperatures read. Although a ticker in Chinese and English suggested reporting to a Doctor that they had been in China if they got sick, they did not get a pamphlet or verbal instructions. He said this made him a bit unnerved. He said a pamphlet would have been good as Chinese are used to obeying the rules and would accept and follow them.

Hmmm, they're calling that new prefab hospital "Vulcan Mountain." Couldn't name it like rose of spring or something, am I right?

Translation under #beauties_life:

Video of Vulcan Mountain
The interior of the room is small
There is a small window for food delivery
The door can only be opened from the outside

---------------------------------

Hmmm, Vulcan Mountain sounds ominous, like a crematorium..............

Just got back from the grocery store. Beans (canned and dried) in short supply. Pasta 1/2 gone for days now. Tomato sauce-type products 1/2 gone. Don't know why -- just an observation.
Shopped Sam's on Saturday and all of the shelves were well stocked....

Plenty dried pintos, rice, bread, flour, etc....

Also shopped Walmart, Kroger's, Albertson's and Tractor Supply and their shelves were well stocked even their specials....

All of the stores were not crowded....

This may change once the sheeple wake up....

We need to know its framework; it's base. That will tell us much.
Did they just build nCov on one virus or more than one?
We need the original virus type because it IS mutating that fast.
Whatever it is, must be an RNA virus because DNA viruses don't replicate? That narrows it down a bit.

Here is an article (posted earlier, with ALL the MANY pictures, diagrams, and charts--but I couldn't tell you where or on what page it is now) that examines the very questions you raise, and gives a DETAILED picture of the virus from a GENETICIST'S professional standpoint (if anyone remembers where the original one is, PLEASE RE-POST IT-- I think I first saw it on Thursday or Friday):

Actually we are right on schedule with the 17,500
If 17,500 is the "official" number and you are estimated to have 35,000 then the real number is indeed 35,000 given the Chinrse bs and LIES from day one. At some point the Chinese lies can't be covered up and THAT will be when we can get a more realistic picture of what the true numbers are

I think there were 2 in S. CA and 2 (now) in the SF Bay area. That does not add up to 11 in CA. It may be 11 for the whole US

I haven't seen anyone post this, so question:
If the virus is really a bio weapon, and the genetic sequence modified, are the HIV segments used to cause permanent damage to the immune system?

Shouldn't this say 11 in the U.S.? It looks like 7 in CA & 4 others. (Sorry, dup; I can't read fast enough!)

This article is important because of the very 1st graph. It shows that the rate of increase of the virus has actually reduced. If the rate of infection increase had continued, the graph said there would be over 35000 as of yesterday. As of right now, its 17200. So it's still on the rise, but at least it's fallen off of that log line that it had. These still are the Chinese numbers, but improvement would be nice to see.

This is from the zerohedge article about the new hospitals (posted I think 4 pages back--I really hate not being able to go back-and-forth from post to post as easliy as on the old forum---it seems like it combines old with new; anyway)---

Here's a chart you might find interesting. I don't know where Zerohedge got it--I didn't see an attribution but maybe someone else can find it:

I believe Dr. Steven Hatfield on Steve Bannon's War Room Pandemic series said that he does not believe it is a bioweapon and the strands found were not exclusive to HIV. He said this kind of virus would make a stupid bioweapon as one cannot control its effects to be exclusively on the enemy's military or even just the enemy's population. It effects indiscriminately and eventually would swing around and infect your own people. In this case, it effected the Chinese people first.

There are rumors in China it is a western bioweapon purpetrated on the Chinese. I have heard allusions to this twice - the last time being that amateur reporter gentleman.

Story about one of the first whistleblowers that has been diagnosed now

‘Rumormonger’ Doctor Who Raised the Alarm Says He Has Coronavirus

‘Rumormonger’ Doctor Who Raised the Alarm Says He Has Coronavirus
Wuhan police had reprimanded Li Wenliang after the ophthalmologist warned a chat group of fellow doctors in late December of the possible return of SARS.
A doctor in Wuhan who was one of the eight whistleblowers police reprimanded in early January for “spreading rumors” about a mysterious pneumonia has become infected with the coronavirus that causes it.

“Today’s nucleic acid (novel coronavirus) test came back positive. Everything is settled now — it’s finally confirmed,” Li Wenliang, an ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital, wrote Saturday morning on his Weibo microblog. His workplace, Wuhan Central, is one of the city’s designated medical facilities for admitting and treating suspected and confirmed coronavirus patients.

By Saturday morning, the novel coronavirus had killed 259 people in China and infected nearly 12,000, over half of whom reside in Hubei province, where Wuhan is located.

Prior to his diagnosis, Li had been working on the front lines of the epidemic. Around Jan. 10, he developed a cough and fever, and later had to be admitted to an intensive care unit. His parents were hospitalized with similar symptoms.

In a separate post Friday, Li recounted how, on Dec. 30, he had examined the medical report of a patient whose condition seemed strikingly similar to SARS, also caused by a coronavirus. Li decided to share this discovery with his former medical school classmates so that they might take appropriate precautions. In their class WeChat group, he sent a message that read: “Seven cases of SARS confirmed.”

“After I sent the message, the police found me and made me sign an official letter of criticism,” Li said. According to a photo of the letter included in Li’s post, the police chastised him on Jan. 3 for “making untrue comments” that had “severely disturbed the social order.”

“The police hope that you can actively cooperate with us, heed our advice, and stop your illegal behavior. Can you do this?” Li writes, “Yes, I can.”

“We hope you can calm down and reflect on your behavior. We solemnly warn you: If you keep being stubborn, with such impertinence, and continue this illegal activity, you will be brought to justice — is that understood?” Li answers, “Yes, I do.” His signature and fingerprint appear at the bottom of the document.

On Jan. 1, the Wuhan police announced on Weibo that eight people had been summoned and punished for “spreading rumors” about the city’s pneumonia patients. After China’s state broadcaster reported on Jan. 9 that a new type of coronavirus was responsible for the unusual number of pneumonia cases, people began to question whether the “rumormongers” had been unjustly punished, prompting the Wuhan police to restrict viewing access to their Jan. 1 Weibo post.

On Tuesday, the Supreme People’s Court, the country’s highest judicial authority, criticized the Wuhan police for reprimanding the whistleblowers in an article published on the court’s official WeChat account. The next day, the Wuhan police wrote on Weibo that the whistleblowers had only been “educated and criticized,” and had not been “warned, fined, or taken into custody.”

A leading scientist from the National Health Commission weighed in on the case during a livestreamed interview that evening. “Those eight individuals are admirable,” he said. “Hindsight is 20-20, but these people had foresight.”

Li has received similarly strong support online, with his posts garnering hundreds of thousands of likes and countless comments from people expressing their gratitude.

“Doctor Li, you are a great doctor with a kind heart and good conscience. I hope you’re at peace,” read the top comment under his Friday post.

We do Celebrate Recovery at a local jail. An inmate who is now in a federal prison wrote us, saying that they were in lock down for two weeks because of a stomach virus. He said it took 6 days, but he came down with it too. All they had to eat for two weeks was peanut butter sandwiches. Made me wonder what they would do if this hits a prison!
