What FBI Stats Really Reveal About Asian Hate Crimes

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

FBI crime statistics debunk the media’s narrative that white people represent the biggest violent crime threat to Asians, with figures showing whites significantly underrepresented in crime stats compared to their per capita population.

Since the killing of six Asian women who worked in massage parlors in Atlanta, the media has amplified the false narrative that “white supremacy” is to blame.

They hyped this explanation despite the fact that the attack had nothing whatsoever to do with race and despite two white women also being killed during the shooting.

Despite admitting the attack had no racial motive, CNN still blamed it on “white nationalism and domestic extremism” in an article titled ‘White supremacy and hate are haunting Asian Americans’.

However, official crime stats show that white people are significantly underrepresented in terms of the violent crime threat they pose to Asians.

1616368066359.png1616368107390.png

As the Washington Examiner highlights, citing FBI statistics, whereas whites comprise 62% of the population, they committed 24% of crimes against Asians in 2018.

In comparison, blacks, who comprise 13% of the population, committed 27.5% of all violent crimes against Asian Americans in 2018.

So clearly, white people do not represent the biggest crime threat to Asian Americans.

The figures once again underscore how the media has contrived another hysterical moral panic in order to bolster what can no longer be seen as anything other than institutional racism and hatred towards white people.

John Whitehead's Commentary
Digital Trails: How the FBI Is Identifying, Tracking and Rounding Up Dissidents

By John W. Whitehead & Nisha Whitehead
March 16, 2021
John Whitehead

“Americans deserve the freedom to choose a life without surveillance and the government regulation that would make that possible. While we continue to believe the sentiment, we fear it may soon be obsolete or irrelevant. We deserve that freedom, but the window to achieve it narrows a little more each day. If we don’t act now, with great urgency, it may very well close for good.”—Charlie Warzel and Stuart A. Thompson, New York Times
Databit by databit, we are building our own electronic concentration camps.

With every new smart piece of smart technology we acquire, every new app we download, every new photo or post we share online, we are making it that much easier for the government and its corporate partners to identify, track and eventually round us up.

Saint or sinner, it doesn’t matter because we’re all being swept up into a massive digital data dragnet that does not distinguish between those who are innocent of wrongdoing, suspects, or criminals.

This is what it means to live in a suspect society.

The government’s efforts to round up those who took part in the Capitol riots shows exactly how vulnerable we all are to the menace of a surveillance state that aspires to a God-like awareness of our lives.

Relying on selfies, social media posts, location data, geotagged photos, facial recognition, surveillance cameras and crowdsourcing, government agents are compiling a massive data trove on anyone and everyone who may have been anywhere in the vicinity of the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The amount of digital information is staggering: 15,000 hours of surveillance and body-worn camera footage; 1,600 electronic devices; 270,000 digital media tips; at least 140,000 photos and videos; and about 100,000 location pings for thousands of smartphones.

And that’s just what we know.

More than 300 individuals from 40 states have already been charged and another 280 arrested in connection with the events of January 6. As many as 500 others are still being hunted by government agents.

Also included in this data roundup are individuals who may have had nothing to do with the riots but whose cell phone location data identified them as being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Forget about being innocent until proven guilty.

In a suspect society such as ours, the burden of proof has been flipped: now, you start off guilty and have to prove your innocence.

For instance, you didn’t even have to be involved in the Capitol riots to qualify for a visit from the FBI: investigators have reportedly been tracking—and questioning—anyone whose cell phones connected to wi-fi or pinged cell phone towers near the Capitol. One man, who had gone out for a walk with his daughters only to end up stranded near the Capitol crowds, actually had FBI agents show up at his door days later. Using Google Maps, agents were able to pinpoint exactly where they were standing and for how long.

All of the many creepy, calculating, invasive investigative and surveillance tools the government has acquired over the years are on full display right now in the FBI’s ongoing efforts to bring the rioters to “justice.”

FBI agents are matching photos with drivers’ license pictures; tracking movements by way of license plate toll readers; and zooming in on physical identifying marks such as moles, scars and tattoos, as well as brands, logos and symbols on clothing and backpacks. They’re poring over hours of security and body camera footage; scouring social media posts; triangulating data from cellphone towers and WiFi signals; layering facial recognition software on top of that; and then cross-referencing footage with public social media posts.

It’s not just the FBI on the hunt, however.

They’ve enlisted the help of volunteer posses of private citizens, such as Deep State Dogs, to collaborate on the grunt work. As Dinah Voyles Pulver reports, once Deep State Dogs locates a person and confirms their identity, they put a package together with the person’s name, address, phone number and several images and send it to the FBI.

According to USA Today, the FBI is relying on the American public and volunteer cybersleuths to help bolster its cases.

This takes See Something, Say Something snitching programs to a whole new level.

The lesson to be learned: Big Brother, Big Sister and all of their friends are watching you.

They see your every move: what you read, how much you spend, where you go, with whom you interact, when you wake up in the morning, what you’re watching on television and reading on the internet.

Every move you make is being monitored, mined for data, crunched, and tabulated in order to form a picture of who you are, what makes you tick, and how best to control you when and if it becomes necessary to bring you in line.

Simply liking or sharing this article on Facebook, retweeting it on Twitter, or merely reading it or any other articles related to government wrongdoing, surveillance, police misconduct or civil liberties might be enough to get you categorized as a particular kind of person with particular kinds of interests that reflect a particular kind of mindset that might just lead you to engage in a particular kinds of activities and, therefore, puts you in the crosshairs of a government investigation as a potential troublemaker a.k.a. domestic extremist.

Chances are, as the Washington Post reports, you have already been assigned a color-coded threat score—green, yellow or red—so police are forewarned about your potential inclination to be a troublemaker depending on whether you’ve had a career in the military, posted a comment perceived as threatening on Facebook, suffer from a particular medical condition, or know someone who knows someone who might have committed a crime.

In other words, you might already be flagged as potentially anti-government in a government database somewhere—Main Core, for example—that identifies and tracks individuals who aren’t inclined to march in lockstep to the police state’s dictates.

The government has the know-how.

It took days, if not hours or minutes, for the FBI to begin the process of identifying, tracking and rounding up those suspected of being part of the Capitol riots.

Imagine how quickly government agents could target and round up any segment of society they wanted to based on the digital trails and digital footprints we leave behind.

Of course, the government has been hard at work for years acquiring these totalitarian powers.

Long before the January 6 riots, the FBI was busily amassing the surveillance tools necessary to monitor social media posts, track and identify individuals using cell phone signals and facial recognition technology, and round up “suspects” who may be of interest to the government for one reason or another.

As The Intercept reported, the FBI, CIA, NSA and other government agencies have increasingly invested in corporate surveillance technologies that can mine constitutionally protected speech on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in order to identify potential extremists and predict who might engage in future acts of anti-government behavior.

All it needs is the data, which more than 90% of young adults and 65% of American adults are happy to provide.

When the government sees all and knows all and has an abundance of laws to render even the most seemingly upstanding citizen a criminal and lawbreaker, then the old adage that you’ve got nothing to worry about if you’ve got nothing to hide no longer applies.

As for the Fourth Amendment and its prohibitions on warrantless searches and invasions of privacy without probable cause, those safeguards have been rendered all but useless by legislative end-runs, judicial justifications, and corporate collusions.

We now find ourselves in the unenviable position of being monitored, managed and controlled by our technology, which answers not to us but to our government and corporate rulers.

Consider that on any given day, the average American going about his daily business will be monitored, surveilled, spied on and tracked in more than 20 different ways, by both government and corporate eyes and ears. A byproduct of this new age in which we live, whether you’re walking through a store, driving your car, checking email, or talking to friends and family on the phone, you can be sure that some government agency, whether the NSA or some other entity, is listening in and tracking your behavior.

This doesn’t even begin to touch on the corporate trackers that monitor your purchases, web browsing, social media posts and other activities taking place in the cyber sphere.

For example, police have been using Stingray devices mounted on their cruisers to intercept cell phone calls and text messages without court-issued search warrants. Doppler radar devices, which can detect human breathing and movement within a home, are already being employed by the police to deliver arrest warrants.

License plate readers, yet another law enforcement spying device made possible through funding by the Department of Homeland Security, can record up to 1800 license plates per minute. Moreover, these surveillance cameras can also photograph those inside a moving car. Reports indicate that the Drug Enforcement Administration has been using the cameras in conjunction with facial recognition software to build a “vehicle surveillance database” of the nation’s cars, drivers and passengers.

Sidewalk and “public space” cameras, sold to gullible communities as a sure-fire means of fighting crime, is yet another DHS program that is blanketing small and large towns alike with government-funded and monitored surveillance cameras.

It’s all part of a public-private partnership that gives government officials access to all manner of surveillance cameras, on sidewalks, on buildings, on buses, even those installed on private property.

Couple these surveillance cameras with facial recognition and behavior-sensing technology and you have the makings of “pre-crime” cameras, which scan your mannerisms, compare you to pre-set parameters for “normal” behavior, and alert the police if you trigger any computerized alarms as being “suspicious.”

State and federal law enforcement agencies are pushing to expand their biometric and DNA databases by requiring that anyone accused of a misdemeanor have their DNA collected and catalogued. However, technology is already available that allows the government to collect biometrics such as fingerprints from a distance, without a person’s cooperation or knowledge. One system can actually scan and identify a fingerprint from nearly 20 feet away.

Developers are hard at work on a radar gun that can actually show if you or someone in your car is texting. Another technology being developed, dubbed a “textalyzer” device, would allow police to determine whether someone was driving while distracted. Refusing to submit one’s phone to testing could result in a suspended or revoked driver’s license.

It’s a sure bet that anything the government welcomes (and funds) too enthusiastically is bound to be a Trojan horse full of nasty, invasive surprises.

Case in point: police body cameras. Hailed as the easy fix solution to police abuses, these body cameras—made possible by funding from the Department of Justice—turn police officers into roving surveillance cameras. Of course, if you try to request access to that footage, you’ll find yourself being led a merry and costly chase through miles of red tape, bureaucratic footmen and unhelpful courts.

The “internet of things” refers to the growing number of “smart” appliances and electronic devices now connected to the internet and capable of interacting with each other and being controlled remotely. These range from thermostats and coffee makers to cars and TVs. Of course, there’s a price to pay for such easy control and access. That price amounts to relinquishing ultimate control of and access to your home to the government and its corporate partners. For example, while Samsung’s Smart TVs are capable of “listening” to what you say, thereby allowing users to control the TV using voice commands, it also records everything you say and relays it to a third party, e.g., the government.

Then again, the government doesn’t really need to spy on you using your smart TV when the FBI can remotely activate the microphone on your cellphone and record your conversations. The FBI can also do the same thing to laptop computers without the owner knowing any better.

Drones, which are taking to the skies en masse, are the converging point for all of the weapons and technology already available to law enforcement agencies. In fact, drones can listen in on your phone calls, see through the walls of your home, scan your biometrics, photograph you and track your movements, and even corral you with sophisticated weaponry.

All of these technologies add up to a society in which there’s little room for indiscretions, imperfections, or acts of independence, especially not when the government can listen in on your phone calls, monitor your driving habits, track your movements, scrutinize your purchases and peer through the walls of your home.

These digital trails are everywhere.

As investigative journalists Charlie Warzel and Stuart A. Thompson explain, “This data—collected by smartphone apps and then fed into a dizzyingly complex digital advertising ecosystem … provided an intimate record of people whether they were visiting drug treatment centers, strip clubs, casinos, abortion clinics or places of worship.

In such a surveillance ecosystem, we’re all suspects and databits to be tracked, catalogued and targeted.

As Warzel and Thompson warn:
“To think that the information will be used against individuals only if they’ve broken the law is naïve; such data is collected and remains vulnerable to use and abuse whether people gather in support of an insurrection or they justly protest police violence… This collection will only grow more sophisticated… It gets easier by the day… it does not discriminate. It harvests from the phones of MAGA rioters, police officers, lawmakers and passers-by. There is no evidence, from the past or current day, that the power this data collection offers will be used only to good ends. There is no evidence that if we allow it to continue to happen, the country will be safer or fairer.”
As I point out in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, this is the creepy, calculating yet diabolical genius of the American police state: the very technology we hailed as revolutionary and liberating has become our prison, jailer, probation officer, Big Brother and Father Knows Best all rolled into one.

There is no gray area any longer.

My White Daughter Was Bullied Out of Her Majority-Black School
How should we process this experience?

Care and Feeding is Slate’s parenting advice column. Have a question for Care and Feeding? Submit it here or post it in the Slate Parenting Facebook group.

Dear Care and Feeding,
I am a liberal, White, upper-middle-class parent, and we live in a mixed-income, racially integrated urban neighborhood. When it came time to enroll our daughter in high school, we selected a school that was majority Black because it was close by, and we rejected the notion of getting caught up in which magnet school was most prestigious. Our daughter had a horrible time there—she was harassed so much that we had to pull her out, and other non-Black students there were victimized because of their race. I am struggling to make sense of the experience. I think she’s managed it well and hasn’t let it affect her general views on race, and I believe I’m doing the same, but mostly I am just so angry that our daughter had to endure this, and I feel guilty that I put her in this position. I also feel caught between friends who seem to want to say, “I told you so,” and those who seem to think that saying that she was the victim of racial harassment somehow makes me seem racist since it was at the hands of Black students.

Maybe I should just chalk it up to bad luck, but how can I let go of the guilt and anger and all the other awful reactions I’m having to this?
—Hoping I’m Not a Karen

Dear HINaK,
You don’t sound like a Karen to me, and I am very sorry that your daughter had a negative experience at her former school. No child deserves to be treated that way, and I think it would be ideal for both you and her to speak to a professional about the feelings you are experiencing as a result. This is a deeply complicated matter. There’s what you seem to know about how racism functions in this country, which is in stark contrast with what seems to be happening at this particular school. How your daughter recovers from this experience and how you recover will mean a lot, in terms of your relationship to Black people going forward and your understanding of these awful racial dynamics that surround us.

I will not defend the actions of any child who went out of their way to mistreat a classmate without provocation. I, like many other Black parents, take seriously the dual responsibility of teaching my child to both understand racism and resist the urge to take out the pain that racism causes her on people who benefit most from it. I also recognize that in an area like the one you live in—one that sounds like it is somewhere in the process of gentrification—an influx of upper-middle-class White folks can be absolutely devastating. So again, bullying, regardless of the bully’s background, is not OK, but you asked about the larger context here, and so that’s what I’ll try to unpack.

After years of being told that your community was unimportant and unworthy of resources, you get to watch it become a “hot spot,” see investment that would have never been made on your behalf. Black folks, who once had “the hood” as a place to be surrounded by their own kind after long days of having to labor for White people, now have to watch Whites become the most affluent, and seemingly most content, residents of our ghettos. If that were not traumatic enough, there is also the matter of our interpersonal interactions with our new neighbors, many of whom have called the police on us, unilaterally organized to reshape our schools, or otherwise come into our sacred places and treated us as we are so often treated by White people: poorly.

Here is another tricky subtext at hand when something like what your daughter experienced happens: Consider the likelihood that a Black person over the age of 16 has had or witnessed least one egregiously racist experience herself and has been made at least somewhat aware of how racism shapes the world around us.

For us, this is to be expected. Racism is just part of what this country is and what we are up against, and we basically have to plan to suffer as a result.

One of the ways we attempt to negate that suffering is by forming community with others like us, away from the gaze of those who participate in and benefit from our oppression. Whether this was a school that was a source of pride for Black families in your area, or simply the local Black high school, it was a place where these kids—living lives undoubtably complicated by the gentrification that brought you to this area—connect with peers who are living like they do.

Your daughter might not have done anything deliberately to harm anyone or to invite mistreatment, but her presence disrupts something truly fragile: the feeling of safety Black kids get from being with other Black kids. Those kids see their parents struggling to afford to live in an area that is changing to better reflect people like you. They think of how they and the adults they love have been treated by White folks in positions of authority their entire lives (perhaps including some of the teachers at this Black school). They know the world is kinder to your child than it is to them. The combination of that knowledge, that pain, and their youth can be very volatile.

Here’s something else to consider: The disruption that White students pose in Black schools does not always come at the same cost to White kids that it did to your daughter. Indeed, there have been many instances of Black kids fawning over non-Black peers because they have been convinced that their privilege makes them somehow special. (Nearly every White rapper is an example of this happening on a grand scale.) How you might have reacted to something like that says a lot about just how prepared for this experience you were in the first place.

Imagine if your daughter had been very popular at this school, well-liked and embraced by her peers. What if her Whiteness had made her a celebrity of sorts, accepted and celebrated by students and teachers alike because of the ways that society typically privileges White girlhood? How might you have reacted to that?

Would you have been concerned about how this could affect the Black girls in her class? What if she were the valedictorian in that all-Black school? Would that have been a problem to you?

School integration is complicated, and the U.S. has never worked to implement it in any meaningful way. The haphazard integration that has been born of gentrification has and will continue to hurt a lot of kids. I am sorry that your daughter was one of them, and I hope you are able to help her get through this difficult time with the right attitude.

The End Of America?

MONDAY, MAR 22, 2021 - 06:30 AM
Authored by Naomi Wolf via The American Institute for Economic Research,
In 2008, I wrote a book, The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot.

I warned, based on my study of closing democracies in 20th century history, that America needed to beware of a slide toward totalitarianism.

I warned that would-be tyrants, whether they are on the left or the right, always use a map to close down democracies, and that they always take the same ten steps. Whether it’s “Invoke a Terrifying Internal and External Threat,” “Create a Thug Caste,” “Target the Press,” or the final step, “Suspend the Rule of Law,” these steps are always recognizable; and they always work to crush democracies and establish tyrannies. At that time, the “global threat” of terrorism was the specter that powers invoked in order to attack our freedoms.

The book was widely read and discussed, both at the time of its publication and for the last 12 years. Periodically over the last decade, people would ask me when and if we had reached “Step Ten.”

We – my brave publisher, Chelsea Green, and I — are releasing the first and last chapters of The End of America now, in 2021, for free, and I am calling the sequel to this book, which I am now writing, Step Ten – because as of March of last year, we have indeed, I am so sad to say, arrived at and begun to inhabit Step Ten of the ten steps to fascism.

Though in 2008, I did not explicitly foresee that a medical pandemic would be the vehicle for moving the entire globe into Step Ten, I have at various points warned of the dangers of medical crises as vehicles that tyranny can exploit to justify suppressions of civil rights. Today, a much-hyped medical crisis has taken on the role of being used as a pretext to strip us all of core freedoms, that fears of terrorism did not ultimately achieve.

In 2015, I cautioned that infectious diseases could be used as a justification for ushering in a suppression of liberties, always under the guise of emergency measures. In 2019, a book of mine, Outrages: Sex, Censorship and the Criminalization of Love, showed how terrible infectious disease epidemics such as cholera and typhus had been exploited in the 19th century by the British state, in order to crush freedoms and invade people’s privacy; I wrote about how the first anti-vaccination movements arose among British parents in the Victorian period. That book was initially cancelled, and its message of warning has been continually assailed.

But that book too was prescient. In early March of 2020, of course, a global pandemic was announced: Covid-19.

In the immediate wake of the announcement and narrativization of that pandemic, most of the elements of a locked-in 360 degree totalitarianism have been put into place, in most of the countries of the West, including in what had been robust democracies. It all happened very quickly and comprehensively.

In the United States we now have:
  1. Emergency measures in many states, which suspend due process of law. This is the hallmark of a police state. Covid-19 is invoked as the reason for the introduction of emergency law – but there is no endpoint for lifting these emergency laws.
  2. The closures of schools, which break the social contract with the next generation.
  3. Bills being passed for “vaccine passports,” which bypass the Fourth Amendment to the constitution by allowing the government and Big Tech companies to intrude on medical privacy and to create a comprehensive digital surveillance state.
  4. Forced closures of businesses. By intervening directly in the economy and allowing certain businesses to flourish (Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target) at the expense of small businesses, Main Street shops, restaurants, and sole proprietor businesses in general, the State has merged government and corporations in a way that is characteristic of Italian fascism, or of modern Chinese communism. (Indeed the fact that tech stocks rose by 27% in one quarter of the pandemic shows one driver of this war against human freedoms and human society: every minute human beings spend in a classroom, at the pub or restaurant, or in a church or synagogue, is time that tech companies lose money by being unable to harvest that data. Covid policies driven by “Covid-19 Response” – tech companies – ensure that humans are not allowed to connect except via digital platforms. The reason is profit as well as social control).
  5. Restrictions on assembly. Some states such as California are fining people for seeing their friends in their homes, and making it unlawful for kids to have playdates with their friends. Massachusetts restricted gatherings of more than ten people at a time, forcing synagogues and churches to stay closed, in spite of a Supreme Court ruling against states forcing churches to close. Parks, playgrounds and beaches have been closed off. In countries such as Britain, people are fined for leaving their homes for more than an hour’s exercise a day.
  6. Forced face coverings. In Massachusetts, people are fined if they are not wearing masks outdoors – even children as young as five are forced to do so by law. Again this mandate has not been undergirded by peer-reviewed studies showing medical necessity; and there is no endpoint proffered for these extraordinary violations of personal freedom.
  7. Suppression of free speech. Big Tech companies are censoring critics of Covid policy and vaccine policy, as well as censoring views that are on the right hand of the political spectrum. “Incitement,” a word that has a long history in the 20th century for closing down free speech, has been weaponized by the left to shut down First Amendment freedoms of expression. In other forms of censorship and management of speech and public debate, tycoons such as Bill Gates have been funding major news outlets, with millions of dollars directed to “Covid education.” As a result, dissenting voices are marginalized and shamed, or even threatened with legal action or job losses.
  8. Science has been hijacked in the interests of “biofascism.” By heavily funding scientific commentators such as Dr Fauci in the United States, Imperial College and SAGE in the UK, and Dr Christian Drosten in Germany, a dominant set of policies and pronouncements about Covid that benefit a small group of bad actors – notably tech and pharmaceutical interests, acting in concert with governments – have had secured credentialled supporters. But when other scientists or institutions seek debate or transparency, they are threatened with job loss or reputationally attacked, as in the case of Dr Simon Goddeke of the Netherlands, who was told to keep quiet by his university, when he challenged the flawed Covid PCR test protocols.
  9. Data have been hijacked to serve the interests of this biofascism. This manipulation of truth, which I foreshadowed in The End of America, is typical of the Soviet censors. Covid platforms such as Covid19tracking and John Hopkins University, funded by technocrats such as Michael Bloomberg, serve unverifiable Covid data that directly affect the stock markets. Again, while this un-American merger of corporate interests and public policy is reminiscent of Italian Fascism, the twist provided by digital data presentation and its relationship to the stock market is very much of the 21st century.
  10. Attacks on religious minorities. The orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn, and Christian churches in California, have been singled out for punishment if they do not follow Covid rules – a targeting of religion that is characteristic of Communist policies on the left, especially in China.
  11. Policies that weaken bonds between human beings and weaken the family have been introduced and policed. This is the most serious development of all.
The new biofascism in the West, very much driven by Big Tech leaders, and soon to be exploited by our enemies geopolitically, is a war against free human beings and against the qualities that make us human.

Masks break human beings’ ability to bond face-to-face and enjoy human contact, smiles and jokes. Masks turn down the effectiveness of human “technology,” by making it hard for us to “read” each other and to pick up social cues. Forbidding assembly keeps us from forming human alliances against these monstrous interests. Forbidding human assembly also prevents new cultures, new heroes and new business models from arising. We are all stuck with the Rolodex and the ideas we had in March of 2020.

Forcing kids to distance at school and wear masks ensures a generation of Americans who don’t know HOW to form human alliances, and who don’t trust their own human instincts. Those are counterrevolutionary training techniques.

Driving all learning onto (already prepared) distance learning platforms ensures that kids do not know how to behave in human space, space not mediated by technology.

Many Covid policies seem designed to ensure that humans will have no “analog” space yet or “analog” culture left – no way to feel comfortable simply gathering in a room, touching one another as friends or allies, or joining together.

Lastly, driving all human interaction onto Zoom is not only a way to harvest all of our tech, business secrets and IP – it is a way to ensure that intimacy and connection in the future will be done online and that human face-to-face contact will be killed off.

Why is this? Why develop policies that punish, encumber and restrict human contact in analog (unsurveilled, unmediated) spaces?

Because human contact is the great revolutionary force when it comes to human freedom and resistance to this form of comprehensive biofascism – the biofascism represented by the New Normal – the medico-fascist Step Ten.

Now let me recap from the year 2008, and read you my intro to The End of America, as well as the warning at the close of that book.

Its message has never, sadly, been more timely. This time, threats to freedom justified by terrorism then, have reclothed themselves in the trappings of a medical pandemic.

But this time we do not just face a war on freedom. This time we face a war on human beings, and on all that makes us human.

White Supremacy Responsible for Anti-Asian Violence? Not in the Latest Attack on NYC Subway

by Liberty Loft News
March 21, 2021

White supremacy, violence, anti-asian violence, asian violence, New York, NYC, hate crime,

New York, NY — For the past few days, we have heard nothing but how white supremacy is responsible for anti-Asian violence across the country. We have heard how these violent attacks are sweeping the nation and that white supremacy is the main culprit. Except, that does not seem to be the case in New York City.

A 68-year-old Asian male was attacked on a NYC subway. A witness who helped the man said the suspect shouted “You motherf—ing Asian” according to New York Daily News. The attacker struck the man and left him bleeding and wounded on the subway as the witness rushed over to help.

You might be waiting for the description of the attacker to be a white supremacist, male racist, or any of the other ridiculous excuses the Left has used over the past week. But the assailant was Marc Mathieu, who was arrested. Marc is a Black male who is from the Bronx. He initially escaped the scene, but was arrested sometime later.

This is an obvious hate crime based on what the man shouted as he attacked the Asian man. While it fits the media’s narrative of anti-Asian hate, it does not fit the narrative of the white supremacy that the media is pushing. In fact, this situation tells the actual truth. The majority of violent crime is not committed by Whites.

The mainstream media is not going to mention the fact that the majority of anti-Asian attacks are from other minorities, such as Blacks. According to BLS statistics, Whites are those who are least responsible for violent crimes of all races. Of course, you will not hear that from the mainstream media, as they try to push the narrative that Whites are horrible people.

Michelle Malkin shared some great examples of this in a recent article. She shared how the majority of violent crime is committed by Blacks. Instead of addressing the source of the crime, the Left wants to blame white supremacists.

While white supremacy may exist in the United States, it is not the widespread issue as the Left would like to claim. As always, it’s just a distraction so you cannot see what they are really doing.

The Final Push to Restore Freedom

Have you noticed that the good guys are on the verge of winning the great struggle, certainly intellectually but also politically and culturally? It’s become nearly impossible for the lockdowners even to muster salience. Their statements on TV and writings in newspapers have become sheepish, hedged, pointlessly verbose and insulting – all signs of weakness when there is essentially no case left to make.

We can all sense it: we are almost done. What can make the difference? Those who have been silent need to step up. Fact is, too many ostensible defenders of freedom (on the left and right: for example, where has the ACLU been? have sat out the greatest humanitarian crisis since World War II. A few have even joined with lockdown authoritarians. This article offers all a form of redemption.

I shan’t call out any fair weather friends of liberty by name as the aspersions I could cast upon them would be nothing compared to the shame they must feel, the same sort of deep and abiding shame, I suspect, felt by those who silently watched the chains go round the necks of human beings being added to a slave coffle, who stood by, impotently, as the Trail of Tears commenced, who said nothing when innocent Japanese-Americans were being interred, or who countenanced segregation and other racially-motivated laws and policies.

Trust that I understand and empathize. A year ago it was difficult, especially for members of a tribe known for intellectual humility, to grasp fully the enormity of the situation, or to discern truth from lies from uncertainties spawned by a dearth of quality data or models. I know that people have careers, families, and reputations to protect and that some of us, myself included, were busy making bank by being willing to go places where less rational people feared to tread.

But today, thanks to the efforts of the Independent Institute, Judicial Watch, and, especially, AIER, there can be NO QUESTION that lockdowns were disastrous policies that imposed enormous costs for no discernible benefit and that government mask mandates have no scientific basis. I understand if you don’t want to follow me into abjuring private mask mandates but it does follow logically in this land of many laws that businesses with market power should not be allowed to impose medical devices on customers, even voluntarily.

AIER has tried to buck you up with optimistic articles every now and again and there are reasons for optimism, like the California recall effort. The forces of tyranny, though, remain too strong in some places and none of us can be truly free while some remain shackled to transparently unscientific “scientific” impositions on commerce, gatherings, travel, and so forth.

So we need every lover of liberty, regardless of past (in)action on the Covid crisis, to now stand up and add his or her shoulder to the millstone and push! Push nonviolently of course, through letters to editors, social media posts, peaceful acts of civil disobedience (even smiling at masked people without a mask can work wonders), attendance at government meetings, making travel plans, dancing, social closening, rewarding businesses that don’t enforce mask mandates, and whatever other tactics you can think of. Then publicize what worked, when, where, and your estimation of why so that others less bold or creative can try as well.

What we do not need right now are internecine squabbles as if it were 2019 or scholarly writings aimed at purely sectarian audiences. What we need are rational people who believe in the precepts of liberty communicating with other human beings in a way that may induce those others to stop pestering their neighbors about masks and vaccines and maybe even to tell their leaders that enough is enough, that the time has come to live again.

If for whatever reason you cannot bring yourself to come out of the Covid closet so openly, I propose instead a Classical Liberal Green Corn Ceremony fashioned after the Cherokee Green Corn Ceremony. (For context and details, see Meg Devlin O’Sullivan, “A Family Affair: Cherokee Conversion to American Board Churches, 1817-1839,” Tennessee Historical Quarterly 64, 4 (Winter 2005): 270.) Similar to some Christian rituals, the Green Corn Ceremony was one of redemption and spiritual rebirth, a sacrifice that brought one back into the good graces of the community despite having sinned.

The ceremony I have in mind is much simpler though. Just sign the Great Barrington Declaration and donate one percent of your 2020 income to AIER and/or one of the other organizations, like Judicial Watch, that have been fighting daily for an entire year for your liberty, and quite frankly, your safety from Covid, which can only be tamed by natural immunity and effective vaccines, not theatrical virtue signalling.

The Liberty Train is leaving the station, ultimate destination unknown but surely a better place than its current location. Climb aboard, or at least chip in for the fuel.

Illinois School District Pays Speaker $175 A Minute To Criticize White People

Naperville School District 203 paid a diversity consultant, Dena Nicole Simmons, $10,500 for a 60-minute Zoom ‘keynote’ address last month – at a rate of $175 per minute.

MARCH 22, 2021

The receipts are in. According to documents released in response to an open records request, Naperville, Ill., School District 203 paid a diversity consultant, Dena Nicole Simmons, $10,500 for a 60-minute Zoom “keynote” address at its 2021 Equity Institute late last month—a rate of $175 per minute. In one hour, the “anti-racism” consultant earned the equivalent of about two month’s salary for some teachers in the school district.

The controversial Feb. 28 event, first reported in The Federalist, raised alarm bells when a whistleblower said Simmons told attendees “our education is based on a foundation of whiteness” and that Americans are “spiritually murdering” students. In addition, parroting the refrain of the “anti-racist” movement, Simmons told attendees that if they were not an “anti-racist,” they were racist.

According to an outline of the lecture, including in the publicly released documents, Simmons, the founder of an organization called LiberatED LLC, delivered 60 minutes of talking points in her lecture, “Thriving to Surviving,” from the playbook of “critical race theory.” CRT is the divisive ideology that turns every aspect of society into a race war, from K-12 schools to snow removal, a point that Simmons made to exemplify “systemic racism.”

Asked to provide documentation of whether there were competing bids for the services provided, the school district responded, “There are no public records responsive to this request.”

The payment raises questions about how these consultants are receiving funds without a competitive bidding process. The lucrative fee by a public school to an outside consultant underscores a crisis in which school districts are increasingly wasting taxpayer funds on outside consultants who push divisive political ideologies in the name of “equity” and “social justice.”

In northern Virginia, for example, Fairfax County Public Schools last summer doled out at least $44,000 to “anti-racist” guru Ibram Kendi—$20,000 for a one-hour virtual lecture and then another $24,000 buying copies of his book to give to high school students for required reading.

This exploding industry is why Parents Defending Education, a new organization established to empower parents to challenge indoctrination in schools, is filing open records requests nationwide to get to the bottom of how school districts are spending taxpayer money. The Naperville case drew my attention not only because of the divisive nature of Simmons’s lecture but the way her supporters went after Federalist intern Gabe Kaminsky after he wrote about the story, essentially refusing to have the kind of “uncomfortable” conversations in which they insist people should be ready to engage.

Simmons didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

As they pursue divisive political agendas, school districts like Naperville are failing to return students to school, with parents protesting this week for a return to in-person learning. Earlier this month, an angry parent told the local school board, “You will all be replaced.”

Instead of focusing on returning students to in-person learning, school district officials were busy planning this “equity” day. On Feb. 16, just 12 days before the talk, Colleen Cannon-Ruffo, project manager for learning services at the school district, thanked Simmons for agreeing to make the presentation at the 2021 Equity Institute event.

In the contract with Simmons, the Naperville school district said that “the Services are outside of Naperville School District 203′ [sic] ordinary course of education and is seeking LiberatED LLC’ [sic] experience and expertise.” But in her email, Cannon-Ruffo outlined a description for the session, “Surviving to Thriving,” loaded with amorphous language, bordering on gibberish:
For community members to thrive, they must feel safe to be who they are; they must love themselves. As a result, our leadership, instruction, and assessment must foster psychological and emotional safety through emotional intelligence, culturally responsivity, and anti-racist practices. During this interactive session, participants will explore impostor syndrome, emotional intelligence, and culturally relevant pedagogy, and anti-racist practices. Through narrative, Dr. Simmons will discuss how the intersection of emotionally intelligent and culturally relevant practices can create equitable and welcoming communities, where everyone can learn in the comfort of their skin.
The “session’s objectives” included four bulleted items: “Explore imposter syndrome”; “Discuss the skills of emotional intelligence as well as culturally relevant and anti-racist practices”; “Explore the intersections between culturally relevant practices and emotional intelligence”; “Describe ways to incorporate culturally relevant and emotionally intelligent practices into participants’ lives and work.”

The school district refused to release the presentation sponsored by public resources, calling it Simmons’s “intellectual property.” Indeed, the contract stipulated that the presentation was “intellectual property of LiberatED LLC” and “shall not be reproduced or presented without the permission of LiberatED LLC.” It added that “LiberatED LLC does not permit recording of any sessions.” The school district said it would also purchase for “all of our staff” a “book from one of the presenters.”

For a session that was so divisive, the Zoom password was ironic: #203Unites.

Vilified professor explains ‘FRIGHTENING’ critical race theory effects on kids’ mental health
•Mar 22, 2021

Glenn Beck

University of Vermont psychotherapy professor Aaron Kindsvatter is facing backlash from students calling for his resignation after he posted a video on Youtube called ‘Racism and the Secular Religion at the University of Vermont.’ But Kindsvatter isn’t backing down. In fact, he joined Glenn to explain just how dangerous critical race theory is to our society. Specifically, he explains, critical race theory has ‘FRIGHTENING’ effects on the mental health of our kids — both white children AND children of color.

VA teachers help create BLACKLIST of parents fighting critical race theory

•Mar 21, 2021

Glenn Beck

After a group of Virginia parents began fighting against critical race theory in their kids’ schools, a Facebook group — with members including other parents and even TEACHERS — began compiling a list of those opposing CRT. During a Tucker Carlson interview with one parent on the list, Fox News even described it as a 'hit list' designed to 'intimidate them into self-censorship.' First, Glenn says, the far left will 'suggest.' Then they’ll 'shove.' So, what comes next, when ‘shoving’ no longer works against those willing to stand? Listen to this clip to find out…

"Liberals Scold and Supervise Like an Offended Ruling Class Because... That’s Who They Are"
Sun Mar 21, 2021
Daniel Greenfield

1984.jpg

The quote in the headline comes from an extended op-ed by Thomas Frank.

Not that long ago, Frank was the lefty guy that the media turned to, to explain why conservatives were winning in red states. And his answer was more lefty economic populism. These days, Frank occupies that awkward position of the more old-fashioned Bernie Sanders supporters, people on the Left who want more economic populism and less cancel culture and identity politics (that was actually Bernie Sanders 1.0 before he revamped into Bernie 2.0 or AOC's grandpa and came out for gun control, open borders, and identity politics) and are fighting the Biden/Hillary establishment.

It's 2021, which means the only place that would run this essay by Thomas Frank is apparently the UK's Guardian. The US media is frothing at the mouth for the censorship that he describes.
These days Democratic politicians lean on anyone with power over platforms to shut down the propaganda of the right. Former Democratic officials pen op-eds calling on us to get over free speech. Journalists fantasize about how easily and painlessly Silicon Valley might monitor and root out objectionable speech. In a recent HBO documentary on the subject, journalist after journalist can be seen rationalizing that, because social media platforms are private companies, the first amendment doesn’t apply to them … and, I suppose, neither should the American tradition of free-ranging, anything-goes political speech....
What all this censorship talk really is, though, is a declaration of defeat – defeat before the Biden administration has really begun. To give up on free speech is to despair of reason itself. (Misinformation, we read in the New York Times, is impervious to critical thinking.) The people simply cannot be persuaded; something more forceful is in order; they must be guided by we, the enlightened; and the first step in such a program is to shut off America’s many burbling fountains of bad takes.
Let me confess: every time I read one of these stories calling on us to get over free speech or calling on Mark Zuckerberg to press that big red “mute” button on our political opponents, I feel a wave of incredulity sweep over me. Liberals believe in liberty, I tell myself. This can’t really be happening here in the USA.
Frank's answer is a familiar one. And a satisfying one. But it's only half-right.
What explains the clampdown mania among liberals? The most obvious answer is because they need an excuse. Consider the history: the right has enjoyed tremendous success over the last few decades, and it is true that conservatives’ capacity for hallucinatory fake-populist appeals has helped them to succeed. But that success has also happened because the Democrats, determined to make themselves the party of the affluent and the highly educated, have allowed the right to get away with it.
There have been countless times over the years where Democrats might have reappraised this dumb strategy and changed course. But again and again they chose not to, blaming their failure on everything but their glorious postindustrial vision. In 2016, for example, liberals chose to blame Russia for their loss rather than look in the mirror. On other occasions they assured one another that they had no problems with white blue-collar workers – until it became undeniable that they did, whereupon liberals chose to blame such people for rejecting them...
Or perhaps this new taste for censorship is an indication of Democratic healthiness. This is a party that has courted professional-managerial elites for decades, and now they have succeeded in winning them over, along with most of the wealthy areas where such people live. Liberals scold and supervise like an offended ruling class because to a certain extent that’s who they are. More and more, they represent the well-credentialed people who monitor us in the workplace, and more and more do they act like it.
There's little doubt that this is true at a very basic level. And behind Frank's reasoning is the idea that the Democrats have become a Blairite party, to use Guardianspeak, a neo-liberal order that represents a rising upper-middle-class managerial elite that believes in repressing those who are different.

And it's true as far as that goes.

This sort of thing is why Glenn Greenwald, and a handful of other prominent lefties now have their substacks retweeted by conservatives.

Except there's one basic thing missing from the neo-liberal critique of what we used to call political correctness.

Democrats didn't abandon liberalism because they turned their backs on leftist economic populism. They embraced economic populism because they became leftist, and they're championing censorship for that same reason.

Is there really any way that liberals could move leftward and take power... without censorship? Name the number of leftist regimes that championed free speech and believed that their opponents should be free to say what they please?

Establishment Democrats are more enthusiastic about political repression than economic populism because they want power. And that gets closer to the heart of what Frank and the lefty dissidents are critiquing.

But the same argument can be made about the Left.

The economic populism dissipates into a managerial state (that was the charge that almost unseated Stalin and led him into his original campaign of brutal repression) and purges political opponents.

Finally, Frank fails to address the role of identity politics in this repression, something that Andrew Sullivan, Greenwald, and other lefties at least struggle with. The Democrats have become a coalition between powerful white lefties and minority groups. They keep calling for censorship while claiming that free speech threatens minorities. Frank links to one such screed, but can't actually address it. And that's understandable.

Democrat ideology isn't really economic populism anymore except within the framework of identity politics. Bernie Sanders 1.0 wanted economic populism without the identity politics. Frank isn't ready to directly issue that call which makes this article a cop-out. He mourns the decline of liberalism, but refuses to recognize that it declined because the Democrats embraced a twisted version of the politics he championed. Instead of elevating the working class, Democrats built an ideological coalition along the lines of their political voting base, shedding the white working class, and then trying to silence them using brute force. That's a twisted vision, and Frank, who wanted a working-class Democrat movement is now resigned to watching a militant party of minority CEOs and white non-profit bosses demand the political repression of their enemies while wondering how we got here.

He shouldn't wonder too hard. Orwell called all this, except the racial identity politics, in the Road to Wiggan Pier. Enjoy your Ingsoc.

United Methodist Church Promotes Hateful Propaganda Alleging Trump Supporters are KKK, Confederate-Supporting Racists

By Jim Hoft
Published March 22, 2021 at 12:17pm

The website UMC.org is the main portal of practically all United Methodist Churches today.

This week they decided to promote disturbing and hateful propaganda against Trump supporters.

The promoted content is just grotesque!

Under the section “Dismantling Racism” you see this…
methodist-church-racism-whitey.jpg

Here is the list of “do’s and don’ts” for racism as listed on the United Methodist webpage.

methodist-church-racism-trump-supporters.jpg

According to the section “Name the Racism You See” protesting the irregularities in the 2020 election makes you a racist!

And every Trump supporter who attended President Trump’s speech at the Ellipse and anyone who went over to the US Capitol on January 6th is a racist because there was one Confederate flag there? And there was accoding to the Methodist website -KKK insignia? Where?

These are horrible and hateful lies they are pushing! And from a Christian organization!

Seriously?

So this is what the Methodist church is pushing?

racism-here-methodist-small.jpg

According to the Methodist Church these half-a-million Trump supporters are all racists?

ellipse-crowd-jan-6.jpg

And these people are all racists too?

BLM Activist Refuses To Resign From School Board After Calling Asians ‘House N*****s’ Who ‘Use White Supremacist Thinking’

A pro-Black Lives Matter vice president of the San Francisco school board is refusing to resign after being criticized for a deluge of racist tweets against Asian Americans in 2016 where she said they used “white supremacist thinking” and compared them to “a house n****r.”

School Board VP Alison Collins said in 2016 that “In fact many Asian American Ts, Ss, and Ps actively promote these myths. They use white supremacist thinking to assimilate and ‘get ahead’.”

“Talk to many @thelowell parents and you will hear praise of Tiger Moms and disparagement of Black/Brown ‘culture,'” Collins continued in the tweet thread, going on to say, “I even see it in my FB timeline with former HS peers. Their TLs are full of White and Asian ppl. No recognition”.

1616436750866.png1616436801630.png

In another tweet, Collins queried, “Where are the vocal Asians speaking up against Trump? Don’t Asian Americans know they are on his list as well?”
The school board official expanded on her racist rhetoric in the final tweet of the thread, stating “Do they think they won’t be deported? profiled? beaten? Being a house n****r is still being a n****r. You’re still considered ‘the help.'”

1616436846426.png

Despite outrage over the tweets in 2021 during a time when black violence against the Asian-American community is on the rise, Collins has refused to step down from her post despite being denounced by all 19 top administrators at the school district’s central office in a public letter this week.

“A number of tweets and social media posts I made in 2016 have recently been highlighted,” Collins said this week in response to the backlash. “They have been taken out of context, both of that specific moment and the nuance of the conversation that took place.”

1616436891335.png

Collins’ social media accounts are littered with posts supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, which is known for its acts of racially targeted mass violence and looting.

School district administrators slammed Collins’ non-apology and noted that she “has not seemed willing to take meaningful responsibility for her actions.”

Professor Says Conservatism May Be ‘Euphemism for White Supremacy’ During ‘Religion of White Rage’ Panel

By Cassandra Fairbanks
Published March 22, 2021 at 9:08pm

Louisiana State University recently held a panel discussing the “Religion of White Rage,” during which a guest Syracuse University professor stated that conservatism is a “euphemism for white supremacy.”

The comment was made by Biko Gray, a religion professor at Syracuse University.
Campus Reform reports that during the live panel, Gray stated that “maybe conservatism away from being a financial and economic and political policy is just a euphemism for white supremacy and its affective variant; white rage.”

The three militant leftist speakers on the panel wrote a book titled The Religion of White Rage: Religious Fervor, White Workers and the Myth of Black Racial Progress. Their thesis is that “it is not economics but religion and race that stand as the primary motivating factors for the rise of white rage and white supremacist sentiment in the United States.”

During his closing remarks, Gray called out Louisiana State Rep. Ray Garofalo and Campus Reform itself, saying that “here we are, three black scholars, and no matter how much tenure we get, how much money we get paid, we will always be in a situation of precocity when it comes to discourses, when it comes to this particular country. That’s white rage and we started working on this text long before Ray Garofalo knew who we were or we started getting emails from Campus Reform.”

In a statement provided to the outlet, Lousiana State University said that “Race, Religion and the Moment We’re In: The Religion of White Rage” was supposed to “shed light on the phenomenon of white rage and map out the uneasy relationship between white anxiety, religious fervor, American identity and perceived Black racial progress.”

Video of the event is age-restricted on YouTube, but can be viewed here.

Report: Cigna Insurance Subjects Employees to Abusive Critical Race Training

Other employees allege Cigna cares more about diversity than qualifications when it comes to hiring new people.

Check-Your-Privelege-Cigna-scaled-e1616382811159.jpeg

Cigna Insurance employees shared documents and chat logs with The Washington Examiner showing the company subjecting them to critical race theory lessons.

Cigna is worth tens of billions of dollars with over 73,000 employees. It is also the largest health insurance company in America.

The lessons drill into the employees’ heads to check their white, sex, and, get this, religious privilege.

Religious privilege? Yes, it is “a set of advantages that benefits believers of a certain religion but not people who practice other religions or no religions at all.”
Instead of saying brown bag lunch (who says that anymore?) Cigna encourages you to say “lunch-and-learn” or “grab n’ go.”

Cigna doesn’t want employees to say, “no can do.” You should say “unavailable.”

Employees should not use “gendered descriptions of romantic partners or family members.” You are literally asking people to strip others of their humanity. Do you use it? “Oh, my it and it are having an it.” “My cousin finally has a new itfriend.”

I guess some people complained about others saying “Hip Hip Hooray” at birthday parties. Cigna said not to say that “so others feel included.”

How does one feel excluded when others say “Hip Hip Hooray?”

The Washington Examiner published a chart with inclusive language, a list of ways to check your privilege, and books to guilt whites about their race.

Domestic terrorist Angela Davis authored two of the recommended books!

CRT-Cigns-scaled-e1616372052477.jpeg

White-Guilt-Cigna-scaled-e1616372261685.jpeg

Susan Stith, Cigna Foundation’s vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion, and corporate responsibility, wrote in a memo: “Our inclusive culture at Cigna means that we’re working hard to ensure everyone feels respected, welcome, and like they belong. This extends to the words we use, including understanding when certain terms might be perceived as negative or hurtful, and being intentional about choosing positive alternatives.”

Some employees allege Cigna uses the “sensitivity training” ideas in its hiring process. Cigna cares more about diversity than talent:
Chat logs between an employee and a hiring manager viewed by the Washington Examiner detail an incident where a minority candidate with strong credentials performed exceptionally well in an interview. When that employee suggested to the hiring manager that the company wave the candidate through to the next step in the process, the hiring manager dismissed the candidate under the assumption he was white.
After learning that the candidate belonged to a minority group, the manager said she was excited to hire him, despite learning virtually nothing else about his background.
“Given the hiring practices they have in place where white, male candidates are blocked, regardless of qualifications, I have to say, ‘Yes, there’s obvious discrimination at this company,'” one employee told the Washington Examiner.
Another time, an employee suggested a candidate with years of industry experience. That employee was informed by the hiring manager that the candidate, a white man, could not be interviewed because he didn’t meet the diversity criteria.
Hiring someone based on race, religion, and sex means the company has a lot of open positions:
In departments focused on tech or data, meeting diversity requirements often means positions are left open for inordinate periods of time.
“I can’t fill these jobs,” said one individual who described himself as a largely happy employee.
One employee said Cigna started to hold mandatory townhalls after George Floyd’s death. The employee described them as a “white giant guilt” townhall.
Floyd’s death led to other changes:
One company memo reviewed by the Washington Examiner refers to George Floyd’s death as a “senseless murder” and announces a company-wide dress code revision to allow Black Lives Matter attire in the workplace.
“As part of our culture of inclusion, we believe employees should bring their whole selves to work, and we embrace causes that align with our values,” the announcement reads. “That’s why we’ve recently updated our Dress for Your Day policy to reflect that Black Lives Matter apparel is permitted at work.”
Cigna proudly shares a variety of its anti-racist initiatives publicly. In July 2020, the company started its Building Equity and Equality Program, a “five-year initiative to expand and accelerate our efforts to support diversity, inclusion, equality and equity for communities of color,” which includes the release of “an annual diversity scorecard to advance the principles of diversity, equity, and equality.”
Cigna forced its employees to fill out an action plan, which included explanations of how they planned to become “more inclusive.” The company has lessons for the employees about “alleged systemic racism in American society.” Most of those lessons center around the flawed 1619 Project.

The New Normal "Reality" Police

MONDAY, MAR 22, 2021 - 11:40 PM
Authored (somewhat satirically) by CJ Hopkins via The Consent Factory,

So, according to Facebook and the Atlantic Council, I am now a “dangerous individual,” you know, like a “terrorist,” or a “serial murderer,” or “human trafficker,” or some other kind of “criminal.” Or I’ve been praising “dangerous individuals,” or disseminating their symbols, or otherwise attempting to “sow dissension” and cause “offline harm.”

Actually, I’m not really clear what I’m guilty of, but I’m definitely some sort of horrible person you want absolutely nothing to do with, whose columns you do not want to read, whose books you do not want to purchase, and the sharing of whose Facebook posts might get your account immediately suspended. Or, at the very least, you’ll be issued this warning:

Now, hold on, don’t click away just yet. You’re already on whatever website you’re reading this “dangerous,” “terrorist” column on (or you’re reading it in an email, probably on your phone), which means you are already on the official “Readers of Mass-Murdering Content” watch-list. So you might as well take the whole ride at this point.

Also, don’t worry, I’m not going to just whine about how Facebook was mean to me for 2,000 words … well, all right, I’m going to do that a little, but mostly I wanted to demonstrate how “reality” is manufactured and policed by global corporations like Facebook, Twitter, Google, the corporate media, of course, crowdfunding platforms like Patreon and PayPal, and “think tanks” like the Atlantic Council and its Digital Forensic Research Lab (“DFRLab”).

First, though, let me tell you my Facebook story.
What happened was, I made a Facebook post, and a lot of people tried to share it, so Facebook and the DFRLab suspended or disabled their accounts, or just prevented them from sharing it, and sent them the above warning. Facebook didn’t suspend my account, or censor the post on my account, or contact me to let me know that they have officially deemed me a “dangerous individual.”

Instead, they punished anyone who tried to “boost” my “dangerous” post, a tactic anyone who has been through boot camp or in prison (or has watched this classic scene from Full Metal Jacket) will be familiar with.

Here’s the “dangerous” post in question. (If you’re particularly sensitive to “terrorist” content, you may want to put on your “anti-terrorism” glasses, or take some other type of prophylactic measures to protect yourself from “offline harm,” before you venture any further.)

The photo, which I stole from Gunnar Kaiser, is of an art exhibit in Düsseldorf, Germany. My commentary is self-explanatory. As you can see, it is extremely “dangerous.” It literally radiates “offline harm.”

OK, before you write to inform me how this was just the work of a dumb Facebook algorithm, think about what I described above. If an algorithm was preventing sharing and suspending people’s accounts based on keyword spotting, it would have censored my original post, and presumably suspended my account. Or, if Facebook has an algorithm that recognizes certain “dangerous” phrases, and then censors or suspends the accounts of people who share a post including those phrases, but doesn’t censor the original post or suspend the account of the author of the post … well, that’s kind of strange, isn’t it?

In any event, shortly after I posted it, I started seeing reports like this on Facebook:

Those are just a few examples, but I think you get the general idea.

The point is, apparently, the Corporatocracy feel sufficiently threatened by random people on Facebook that they are conducting these COINTELPRO-type ops. Seriously, think about that for a minute. I am not Stephen King or Margaret Atwood. I’m not even Glenn Greenwald or Matt Taibbi. I’m a midlist-level author of unusual literature, and a political satirist, and a blogger, basically, and yet Facebook, and their partners at the Atlantic Council, and AstraZeneca, and Pfizer, and Moderna, and who knows which other global corporations and transnational, non-governmental entities like the WEF and WHO, consider someone of my lowly status enough of a threat to their “New Normal” narrative to warrant the attention of the Reality Police.

Now, let me be clear about who I’m talking about when I’m talking about the “Reality Police.” Facebook’s partnership with the Atlantic Council is only one example, but it is a rather good one. Here’s a quick profile of the Atlantic Council …
“The Atlantic Council of the United States was founded in 1961 as a think tank and anticommunist public relations organization to prop up support within the US for NATO in the post-World War II era … [its] current, honorary and lifetime directors list reads like a bipartisan rogues gallery of American war-criminals, including Henry Kissinger, George P. Shultz, Frank Carlucci, James A. Baker, R. James Woolsey, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Robert Gates and Leon Panetta. Among the former Atlantic Council chairman have been Obama administration officials James L. Jones, (national security advisor) and Chuck Hagel (secretary of defense). These are the folks that are policing “reality” (the “reality” they have manufactured, and are manufacturing moment by moment), deciding what officially happened, and didn’t happen, and what it means, and who qualifies as an “authoritative news source,” and “fact-checking” everything we see on the Internet. It’s not a bunch of pimply-faced IT nerds writing sloppy code in Menlo Park. It’s GloboCap and the Military-Industrial Complex.

If you’re one of my “New Normal” ex-friends and colleagues (or one of my Facebook or Twitter trolls) who, for some unknown reason, is still reading this column, perhaps on your way to get experimentally “vaccinated” or report one of your neighbors for not wearing a mask or being outdoors without a valid reason, this is who has manufactured your “reality” and the so-called “science” you claim I am “denying,” even as reality stares you in the face …

This did not begin with the “New Normal,” of course. Every system of power manufactures its own “reality” (totalitarian systems more fanatically than others). No, I’ve been writing about the manufacturing of “normality,” and the War on Dissent and Populism that GloboCap has been relentlessly waging on anyone and everyone opposing its hegemony or refusing to conform to its ideology, since back when I was still writing heretical columns like this for CounterPunch … before the editors saw which way the wind was blowing and ideologically purged its roster to get back into the good graces of GloboCap (following which ideological purge, Google restored it to the ranks of “real news”).

And that is how reality-policing works. It’s a bullying operation, basically. The entire “cancel culture” phenomenon is. “Cancel culture” is a silly name for it. We are talking about a global empire imposing total ideological conformity (or, in simpler terms, its version of “reality”) on the entire planet through fear and force. The Nazis referred to this process as Gleichschaltung.
Global capitalism has reached the stage where it no longer needs to tolerate dissent (any kind of dissent, from any quarter) to maintain the illusion of “freedom and democracy,” because there is no alternative to global capitalism. It is everywhere. There is nowhere to run or hide. When the Reality Police find you, and threaten to “cancel” you, you have two choices … obey or be vaporized.

If you’re a Palestinian, a Syrian, a Yemeni, the president of an uncooperative African country, or some other type of non-Western person, you might very well be physically vaporized. For Westerners, vaporization is less dramatic and final. You will simply be disappeared from the Internet, fired from your job, socially ostracized, deemed a “dangerous individual,” a “racist,” an “anti-Semite,” a “conspiracy theorist,” a “white supremacist,” a “domestic terrorist,” an “anti-vaxxer,” a “Covid denier.”

If you’re a member of the independent media, or a prominent activist, or a lawyer, or doctor, or just someone with a big social media platform, and have not seen the “New Normal” light, you will be demonized, demonetized, deplatformed, censored, and subjected to the type of creepy COINTELPRO-type tactics I described above. If you don’t believe me, just ask Robert F. Kennedy, Rainer Fuellmich, Vanessa Beeley, Whitney Webb, James Corbett, Ken Jebsen, Cory Morningstar, The Last American Vagabond, Geopolitics & Empire, The Centre for Research on Globalization, OffGuardian, and countless other people and outlets that have challenged the official “New Normal” narrative.

Or have a look at this “warning” you get on Twitter if you attempt to read anything published by OffGuardian

I could go on and on with this, and I’m sure I will in future columns. It’s kind of the only story at the moment, the changeover from simulated democracy to pathologized-totalitarianism as the governing structure of global capitalism. For now, I’ll just leave you with one more image in this already overly pictorial column. Don’t worry, it’s been thoroughly “fact-checked,” so there’s no need to read or question the fine print (even though I have a feeling you will) …

Do watch out for those “unrelated coincidences.” Some of them, I hear, can be rather nasty.

Al Sharpton can't admit who is really targeting Asian Americans

by Eddie Scarry, Commentary Writer |
| March 22, 2021 11:48 AM

Has anyone told Al Sharpton about the white supremacist who brutally beat an Asian man Friday on the New York subway while shouting, "You Asian motherf---er"? The white supremacist, identified by police as 36-year-old Marc Mathieu, happens to be a black man.

This is important because Sharpton devoted a whole 10 minutes of his MSNBC show on Sunday to reasserting the media-generated myth that Asian Americans are being terrorized by white supremacists across the country. Using the recent and ridiculous "study" by the Anti-Defamation League purporting a surge in "white supremacist propaganda" being distributed throughout the United States, Sharpton asked Democratic Rep. Grace Meng what she believed to be "fueling" the "hatred" for Asian Americans.

Meng predictably attributed the supposed increase in anti-Asian animus to none other than former President Donald Trump. "Our former president wasted no opportunity to make sure that people that looked like ... me knew that we weren't American enough, and we weren't good enough," she said.

The idea that this is about white supremacy and that Trump caused it is a preposterous lie. That's why, even though the liberals at CNN and MSNBC hype the race of the victims when discussing any crime against Asians, they're curiously silent about the race of the perpetrators.

If this is really about white supremacy, then there appears to be an awful lot of black and brown-skinned white supremacists on the loose committing violent crimes against Asians.

The attack in New York was just one of a slew of violent episodes, many of them caught on camera, wherein the victim was a person of Asian descent, and the suspect was black.

Vicha Ratanapakdee, an 84-year-old San Francisco man of Thai descent, was on his routine morning walk in late January when a man in a hoodie charged in his direction and shoved him to the ground. Ratanapakdee was hospitalized and died two days later. Police identified and charged 19-year-old Antoine Watson for the crime. Watson, who pleaded not guilty, is black.

Another clip from late January showed the assault of a 91-year-old man in the Chinatown section of Oakland, California. A man walking up behind him in a hoodie and uses both arms to push the unsuspecting victim to the ground before the assailant walks away. Police identified 28-year-old Yahya Muslim as the perpetrator and linked him to similar attacks of two other elderly people from the same day. Muslim is black.

Denny Kim, 27, of Los Angeles, was randomly attacked last month by two men who he said ambushed him in the street. While beating him up and leaving him with a black eye, the men called him "Chinese virus" and said, "all f---ing Asians gotta die." Police described the suspects as Hispanic.

Also last month, an Asian man in New York was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being stabbed in the back with a butcher knife. The perpetrator later turned himself in to the police. I could only find a photo of him with a face mask, making it difficult to discern his race. I do know that his name is Salman Muflihi, probably not the sort of name you would expect a white supremacist to have.

If Sharpton wants to stop attacks against Asian Americans, he would probably accomplish a lot more by discouraging the black assailants whose community he claims to lead, rather than placing the blame on phantom klansmen.

Andy Ngo: The truth about violence against Asian Americans

On the latest Spectator USA podcast episode, I discuss the truth about the violence happening against Asian-Americans. The reality based on federally collected data may be too upsetting for most to accept, which is why we are being told a false narrative blaming "white supremacy."

How The Equality Act Would Legalize Religious Bigotry
The Equality Act explicitly targets the Bible, calling it a bigoted document filled with discriminatory stereotypes. It would also ban observant Jews from religious ceremonies.

Yaakov Menken

By Yaakov Menken
MARCH 23, 2021

The Founding Fathers recognized freedom of expression and religious liberty as core elements of diversity and tolerance. Now, nearly 250 years later, Congress is acting to stamp them out, ushering in a new era of government-sanctioned anti-religious bigotry.

While no one could argue this is motivated by anti-Jewish bias in particular, the disproportionate repression of Jewish religious practice — by a law unironically billed as an “Equality Act,” no less — is far too significant to ignore.

On Jan. 1, 2020, almost three months before COVID-19 limits on gatherings, more than 100,000 observant American Jews filled MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and other locations across the country for a unique gala honoring religious education. Called simply “The Siyum,” meaning “the completion,” it honored the tens of thousands of religiously motivated men — and significant number of women — who completed a seven-and-a-half-year cycle studying the Oral Torah.

The Siyum celebrates not only education, but Jewish resilience in the face of persecution. The 2,711-day cycle was first set in motion in Poland in 1923, where the first Siyum ensued in 1931. In 1945, the main venues of the third Siyum were in Israel, but, incredibly, one was also held by Holocaust survivors in a displaced persons camp in Germany. Since 1990, the largest celebrations have taken place in the United States, each exponentially larger than the one before it.

But now the Land of Liberty might never allow another. With the Equality Act, Congress is waging a legislative effort to prohibit the next Siyum, scheduled to take place in June 2027, and other such “discriminatory” violations of human rights. Under the Act, observant Jews will no longer be legally permitted to gather to celebrate religious education, or any other occasion, in accordance with their beliefs.

The reason is simple: not only prayer services, but family lifecycle events of all kinds — from circumcisions to bar mitzvahs to weddings to funerals — are commonly divided by biological sex in traditional Orthodox Judaism. This is true whether or not ceremonies are held in synagogues.

Whether in restaurants, catering halls, funeral homes, or elsewhere, all of these gatherings are often observed in what the law describes as “public accommodations.” Every major Siyum event over the past century has observed this same strict separation of the sexes. The Equality Act would ban them all.

This piece of legislation mandates the “desegregation of public facilities [by] sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity).” This directly forbids traditional Jewish practice in any such location.

Lest you imagine that such a Jewish event would be protected by its religious nature, the act goes out of its way — for the first time in history — to prohibit recourse to the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). That law was specifically to shield religious practice from “laws ‘neutral’ toward religion [which] may burden religious exercise as surely as laws intended to interfere with religious exercise.”

Stripping this protection from religious practice cannot be described as incidental. The Equality Act claims the notion that marriage is between a man and a woman is merely a “sex stereotype,” and that opposition to same-sex marriage is inherently discriminatory. Any “discrimination” on the basis of “gender identity” is likewise prohibited, even in the private sector.

Thus, the Equality Act explicitly targets the Bible, calling it a bigoted document filled with discriminatory stereotypes. These include the idea that male and female sexes are biological, not psychological (Genesis 1:27), created with procreation in mind (1:28), and that marriage is the unique, holy contract between man and woman forming the environment in which that procreation is intended to take place (2:24). And one cannot forget that which the Bible proscribes as an “abomination” in Leviticus 18:22.

The Siyum held on New Year’s Day 2020 brought a level of decorum unheard of in a sports stadium: an absence of fights, drunkenness, and disorderly conduct. Police, who maintained a high level of security, said they never felt such appreciation from the public as they did then. Combined with its educational focus, the celebration exhibited values that America has long cherished.

Congress, to the contrary, would now grant antisemites a powerful legal tool with which to prevent such public displays in the future. Yet President Biden has committed to putting his name to it. If bigots were bent on eliminating Orthodox Judaism from American soil, it is difficult to imagine a more ruthlessly efficient tool than the Equality Act.

Dem Rep. Escobar: Abbott Saying Migrants Bringing COVID Is ‘Racist’ and Could Spawn Violence

IAN HANCHETT22 Mar 20212,579

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) reacted to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) saying that the Biden administration is bringing coronavirus into the U.S. with its immigration policy by stating that Abbott is engaging in an “old, racist trope” that is “really dangerous.” And could spawn violence like the 2019 mass shooting in El Paso.

After viewing a clip of Abbott saying that the Biden administration is “importing COVID into the state of Texas,” Escobar said, “I just want to say, to our friends in Boulder, Colorado, my heart goes out to them with what’s happening there, the active shooter. We’ve had an active shooter in El Paso in the past, August 3, 2019. And so, I’m just praying for everyone there. But, you know, Jason, the words of Gov. Greg Abbott are actually really dangerous. Speaking of an active shooter, you know, we had an active shooter who came into El Paso whose hatred was fueled by xenophobic, anti-immigrant rhetoric that came not just from the White House at the time, from Donald Trump, but came from people like Gov. Greg Abbott himself. The idea of immigrants bringing disease, that is an old, racist trope intended to inspire fear and hatred. He’s done it before. It is absolutely reprehensible.”

She continued, “And something that folks should understand, FEMA, under the Biden administration, offered to help the state of Texas with testing migrants as they were coming into our front door. Gov. Greg Abbott rejected that help. And, in fact, has stood in the way of our ability to access that help. And yet, he immediately then goes on cable news shows, Fox News, to decry the fact that migrants might have COVID, when he can help us address the issue. It’s really shameful and dangerous.”

All 10 Boulder Colorado Victims Were White. It’s Time To End Anti-White Race Hate.
The following ten people perished in the recent shooting in Boulder, Colorado carried out by Ahmad Al-Issa. All of them appear to be white, but neither the media nor politicians have bothered to resurrect their anti-race-hate campaign that ensues when Black Lives Matter riot, or when Asians are murdered in Atlanta.

The victims include grocery store workers, local college graduates, medicare agents, a police officer, and an Orthodox Christian.

Today, The National Pulse calls on the political left and their media counterparts to stop the racial hatred they continue to perpetuate against white people, which doubtlessly led to these murders in Colorado.

Denny Strong, 20
Denny Stong, 20

Strong resided in Boulder, Colorado and had worked at the King Soopers grocery store since 2018. He described himself as a fan of planes, bikes, and motorcycles on social media and friends say he was training to be a pilot.

Rikki Olds, 25

Leiker had worked at the store targetted in the attack for three decades, and her friends revealed working at the store was her “favorite thing to do.”
Since 2019, Leiker was dating a colleague, Clint, who survived the shooting.
“She loved going to work and enjoyed everything about being there,” friends added.

Eric Talley, 51

The father of seven had served the Boulder Police Department since 2010.
“He loved his kids and his family more than anything,” said Talley’s father, Homer Talley.
“He was looking for a job to keep himself off of the front lines and was learning to be a drone operator. He didn’t want to put his family through something like this and he believed in Jesus Christ,” he added.

Kevin Mahoney, 61

Mahoney’s daughter revealed that her father had been killed in the shooting with a photo of him walking her down the aisle for her wedding with the caption “I am heartbroken to announce that my Dad, my hero, Kevin Mahoney, was killed in the King Soopers shooting in my hometown of Boulder, CO.”
‘My dad represents all things Love,” she added.

Lynn Murray, 62
Lynn Murray ...

Murray had two children and was a retired New York City magazine photo director whose clients included Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Glamour. She relocated to Colorado to raise her children.
Her family noted she was at the grocery store to fill an Instacart order at the time of the shooting.
“I just want her to be remembered as just as this amazing, amazing comet spending 62 years flying across the sky,” her husband John urged.

Jody Waters, 65

A graduate of Alameda West High School, Stanisic and his family “fled Bosnia 20 years ago for a better life in America,” according to leaders at Saint John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church in Lakewood.
“He was an amazing child,” said Ivana Petrovic, who along with her husband, Rev. Radovan Petrovic, have close ties with the family. “We’ve known the family ever since we became their spiritual father and mother here. He was a very good, shy, hardworking boy and one of those kiddos who listened to his parents the best.”
Stanisic’s Facebook showed him smiling with classmates and contained images of hand-drawn anime characters and the Assassin’s Creed video game series.

Why Is No One Talking About the RACE of All 10 Shooting Victims By Muslim Gunman Ahmad al-Issa?

By Patty McMurray
Published March 24, 2021 at 10:21am

Tragedy struck on March 18, when eight people were killed in a mass shooting in Atlanta, six of the victims being women who were of Asian descent. The Democrat Party mainstream media almost immediately turned the shooting into a racial issue. In a press conference following the mass shooting, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki does what Democrats do best; she attributed the murders of the victims to the rhetoric by President Trump.

100 Percent Fed Up – The suspect, in the Atlanta spa shootings, 21-yr-old Robert Alan Long, said he was motivated by a sex addiction, not race. Although there has been no evidence that race played a role in the attack, it hasn’t stopped liberals and the mainstream media from using the tragic incident to add Asian-Americans to their long list of victims in their efforts to further segment and divide Americans.

In a classic attempt to divide and conquer society, the media and globalist politicians have been throwing accelerant on racial divisions that were largely nonexistent less than ten years ago.

Recent Google analytical data strongly suggest that certain ideas, including Black Lives Matter and numerous other globalist far-left ideas like Critical Race Theory, are interjected into the media over time in order to create divisions and affect the outcome of elections. They are often then removed from the discussion once division among selected groups of people has produced the desired outcome.

On March 22, a 21-yr-old Muslim male who immigrated from Syria opened fire in a Boulder, CO grocery store, killing 10 white people. After the shooting, the mainstream media outlets quickly concluded, without evidence, that the shooter must be a white male Trump supporter. Well, as is usually the case when globalist media outlets take a stance on something, nothing could be further from the truth.

As Paul Joseph Watson highlighted yesterday, Ahmad Al-Issa would typically be described as an “anti-racist activist,” with his Facebook page having featured criticism of Donald Trump, advocacy for refugees, and Muslim immigrants.

Despite the gunman’s family telling the Daily Beast that the reason for his rampage was as a result of him being the victim of “bullying” in high school, Al-Issa’s classmates say the opposite is true.

A Fox 31 report reveals that Al-Issa once punched a classmate and continued to hit him as he lay on the ground.

ahmadalaliwissis-740x375.png

Ahmad Al-Issa

Al-Issa tried to justify the attack by claiming the victim “had made fun of him and called him racial names weeks earlier,” although no other classmates could corroborate this.

The shooter’s wrestling team classmate Dayton Marvel also told the Denver Post that in Al Issa’s senior year, “during the wrestle-offs to see who makes varsity, he actually lost his match and quit the team and yelled out in the wrestling room that he was like going to kill everybody.”

“Nobody believed him. We were just all kind of freaked out by it, but nobody did anything about it,” said Marvel.

“He would talk about him being Muslim and how if anybody tried anything, he would file a hate crime and say they were making it up,” he added.

Following the tragic deaths of the Asian-Americans in Georgia, the media and their allies in the Democrat Party have been droning on about their newfound class of victims—Asian-Americans and “Asian-American hate.” What the media and the Democrat Party are curiously ignoring, as they always do, is the one thing all 10 victims of the Muslim shooter in Boulder, CO have in common—they’re all white.

Independent journalist, and Asian-American, Andy Ngo points out in a tweet that he was told the victim’s race doesn’t matter if there is no evidence of race playing a role in the attack.

In case anyone cares, because the media won’t, Boulder, CO Police Officer Eric Talley’s, who was shot and killed by Ahmad Al-Issa, was a devout Catholic, dedicated husband, and father of seven children. (See more on website)

'Sesame Street’ Studio Debuts ‘ABCs of Racial Literacy’ to Teach Kids About Racism

First Netflix said it is developing kids programming around racial justice. Now the people behind Sesame Street are following suit, with race-based content aimed at children of all ages, including infants.

Sesame Workshop, the studio behind Sesame Street, has released a new set of instructional resources for children and their parents titled “ABC’s of Racial Literacy,” which the company said represents part of its commitment to “racial justice.”

“ABC’s of Racial Literacy” provides activities for kids as well as tutorials for parents to teach children as young as infants about the dangers of racism.

Sesame Street Workshop

Sesame Workshop announced the program Tuesday, saying that the company has always stood for “diversity, inclusion, equity, and kindness.”

“The work to dismantle racism begins by helping children understand what racism is, and how it hurts people,” Sesame Workshop said in an Instagram post. The program provides resources that are “designed to help families celebrate their own unique identities and answer children’s sometimes-tough questions about race and racism.”

In one tutorial, parents are advised that infants develop racial preferences as early as six months.
“Infants show a preference for the faces of people from their own racial group as early as six months,” the tutorial says. “Start early by introducing children to people who don’t look like them, and let children see pictures of people with a variety of skin tones and facial features.”

In a video starring Elmo, kids are taught about the importance of skin tone and melanin.

In a group activity for kids to create self-portraits, children are taught to focus on their outward appearances. The instructions say it is “especially important for Black and Brown children to celebrate their outward appearance in order to keep strong within themselves as they grow up in a racist society.”

Netflix announced in January that it is creating an animated kids series based on Ibram X.

Kendi’s Antiracist Baby, the critical race theory activist’s recent book for toddlers. The streamer said it will turn Antiracist Baby into a series of animated short music videos that will use “earwormy songs” to teach toddlers and their caregivers about “anti-racism.”

China Quotes George Floyd in ‘Human Rights’ Report Declaring Federalism an Atrocity

FRANCES MARTEL24 Mar 202132

The Communist Party of China published its annual report listing alleged human rights grievances in the United States on Wednesday, listing robust and free political debate and America’s federalist system – which allows states to determine much of their own destinies independent of Washington – as human rights atrocities.

The report opened with “I can’t breathe,” reportedly the last words of late Minnesota man George Floyd, whose death sparked nationwide riots in summer 2020.

China’s State Council Information Office, the formal propaganda arm of the Communist Party leadership, publishes a similar report every year, typically in response to the U.S. State Department’s annual global human rights report. Past reports have listed American comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s television show as a human rights violation against the American people.

This year, state newspaper Global Times explained, the office chose to publish its report without waiting for the State Department’s research in response to growing concerns over China’s genocide of the ethnic Uyghur people and other Muslim-majority groups in Xinjiang, its westernmost territory.

Extensive evidence, including eyewitness testimony, has revealed that, since at least 2017, the Communist Party has engaged in a campaign to eliminate the Uyghur population through imprisonment in concentration camps, mass displacement of their children, enslavement, forced sterilization and abortions, state-organized gang rape, and live organ harvesting.

A report published in mid-March by the Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy, citing international legal experts, concluded China is committing every element of the international crime of genocide against Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz people, and other groups in Xinjiang.

In its report on Wednesday, China insisted the true human rights criminal is the U.S. government.

The report focused largely on two claims: America’s response to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, which began in China and erupted from a regional outbreak to a pandemic largely due to Communist Party policies, violated human rights; and that America’s treatment of its ethnic and racial minorities is inherently bigoted.

“[T]he United States, which has always considered itself an exception and superior, saw its own epidemic situation go out of control, accompanied by political disorder, inter-ethnic conflicts, and social division,” the report proclaimed in its introduction. “It further added to the human rights violations in the country, the so-called ‘city upon a hill’ and ‘beacon of democracy.'”

“The epidemic went out of control and turned into a human tragedy due to the government’s reckless response,” the report stated definitively, blaming American federalism.

Citing an article in CNN, without actually linking to it, the “human rights” report complains “that there were no national guidelines and no organized efforts to reopen the country beyond what measures states had taken.”

“The article also said that in terms of pandemic control and prevention, public health officials say one thing while governors say another and the national leader says something else entirely,” the report contended, later adding, “During the [Chinese coronavirus] pandemic, frequent contradictions have taken place between the Republican president and the Democrats-dominated House of Representatives, and between the federal government and Democratic ‘blue states.'”

The “contradictions” in question are part of America’s political system, which does not imprison individuals who publicly dissent from the core beliefs of the ruling party. In China, public disagreements typically result in criminal charges for those implicated, usually the poorly defined “crime” of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” No party other than the Communist Party has power in the executive, legislative, or judicial branches, nor do they operate as separate entities.

China’s provinces also have no independence from Beijing. Dictator Xi Jinping regularly purges state-level officials considered disloyal to the party and imposes policies on states that their residents do not agree with. The latter resulted in a gigantic protest in March 2020 on the border between Hubei province, where the pandemic originated, and Jiangxi province in which residents overturned police cars and violently assaulted officers. Beijing had forced Jiangxi officers to open the border to Hubei, a policy local officers refused to implement, resulting in thousands of Hubei residents attacking them and overrunning the border.

Elsewhere in its “human rights” report, China complained that “hate politics evolved into a national plague” in America in 2020.

“Disagreement between Democrats and Republicans has gradually changed from policy differences to identity battles with increasingly obvious political tribalism,” the report detailed.

“There has been an increasingly stark disagreement between Democrats and Republicans on economy, racial justice, climate change, law enforcement, international engagement, and a long list of other issues.”

The report particularly lamented that “unchecked public opinion manipulation and rampant lies” in politics remained legal.

The report elsewhere described the legal right of Americans to purchase firearms as a human rights violation and claimed that America is committing “genocide” against its native population.

“In the United States, racism exists in a comprehensive, systematic, and continuous manner,” the report claimed, then proceeding to quote America’s first black president, Barack Obama.

Communist China has never had a dictator who did not belong to the ruling Han ethnicity, and ethnic minorities – Uyghurs, Tibetans, Mongolians, and others – endure strict government pressure to conform to Han culture. This includes the erasure of their native languages in local schools, repression of religious practice, and internment in concentration camps for communist indoctrination.

The report follows a week in which China has very publicly declared diplomatic victory against the administration of President Joe Biden, following a disastrous meeting for American diplomats with Chinese Communist Party elites in Alaska.

At the meeting, senior Politburo member Yang Jiechi used the far-left Black Lives Matter movement to discredit American concerns about the genocide of the Uyghur people and proclaimed, “the United States does not have the qualification to say that it wants to speak to China from a position of strength.”

Are Christians and conservatives unwelcome in our own country?
by David Ware

Are Christians and conservatives unwelcome in our own country_

PROJECTION
I still clearly recall the psychological term “projection” from my Psych 101 class in 1975. I did not major in Psychology, but even though my excellent and good-hearted professor had taught for many years, he said that I was the first student that he had ever had who got a perfect 100% score on one of his notoriously difficult exams.

“Projection refers to unconsciously taking unwanted emotions or traits you don’t like about yourself and attributing them to someone else.”

Bingo!

The political left knows how much pent-up animosity they have for us and how much they wish to do us harm, so they project upon us the same hated and evil motives even though they do not exist in us. Jesus told us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us, but Democrats and Marxists [redundant] seem to believe they have to do unto us to prevent us from doing unto them. They have totally distorted the Gospel (Good News) which they do not actually recognize anyway.

DIVERSITY AND TOLERANCE

The Race Card
Barack Obama, who has as much white ancestry as he does black, exploited this to the nth degree. His water boy, Joe Biden, supported such exploitation wholeheartedly.

The Emancipation Proclamation was issued in 1863 by Republican President Abraham Lincoln. Civil Rights legislation in the 1960s was championed mostly by Republicans. It was Democrat President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who issued the Executive Order to intern all Americans of Japanese ancestry during World War II.

Treating people as people and human beings as human beings is very different from always focusing upon a person’s race and/or ethnicity. We just need to accept everyone as who they are and not stereotype them in terms of their ancestry.

Why didn’t Democrat FDR round up those whose ancestors came from Germany and put them in the same kind of camps in which he put those whose forebears came from Japan? Now tell me which party it was that stereotyped Asians as a threat.

“I have a dream that one day little black boys and girls will be holding hands with little white boys and girls.”

Who said that? Was it MLK or was it BLM? You don’t have to answer that one out loud but you know very well in your heart the answer. Dr. King’s dream was for us all to live together in peace, harmony and love. You don’t have to be a scholar to determine that those are not the dreams of BLM or today’s Democrat Party. Rather, the nightmare they are trying to foist upon us is a return to segregation of the races.

The racial issue today is not simply black and white. As one conservative black patriot recently reminded us, more Asians have recently been murdered by blacks than by whites.

I’m old enough to remember that in 1992 after the Rodney King incident in Los Angeles, many Korean-American businesses in South Central Los Angeles were vandalized during the ensuing riots. Why? Revenge and retribution or the simple opportunity to loot and get stuff?

Conservatism and Family Values
These two concepts also go hand in hand. Those who want to conserve the America which our Founders bestowed upon us tend overwhelmingly to not only assert, but also to practice in everyday life, those family values. While the Harris-Biden Administration and their backers are trying to mislead children into thinking they are able to transgender at will, decent fathers and mothers, one male and one female, do everything they can to be role models of decency as well as scientific realism.

RECENT EXAMPLES
In recent horrific mass murders in Georgia and Colorado, the left, including our deluded Hawaii governor, have instantaneously, without waiting for the facts, assumed them to be the acts of white supremacists. There is a developing narrative of anti-Asian hate crimes in America these days.

Rather than pontificating in general terms, I will just tell you that while I am both Caucasian and Native American, and my wife is Asian, we have neither individually or collectively experienced such racism during the 50 years we’ve been together. For some strange reason, did it just develop after Joe Biden took the oath of office?

Then I just read today that some are advocating that Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma be expelled from the NCAA tournament due to their Christian beliefs and practices. They claim to be protecting those of LGBTQ persuasion, but would they prohibit an Islamic Institution on that same basis? You know that would not possibly happen. So, what is happening is not really aimed at protecting anybody, it is just an excuse to condemn and persecute Christians once again.

I will digress somewhat to just mention that before I met my wife in the Philippines in 1970, she had seriously considered applying to study at Oral Roberts University (ORU). It brings a smile to my face to realize that God had more than one plan to bring us together since I am from Oklahoma.

FROM WHENCE WE CAME WE MUST RETURN
Go back and read the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the Federalist Papers, and you will see how far we have regressed from the reliance upon Divine Providence of those who gave us this country in the first place.

“It is impossible for any man of candor to reflect on this circumstance without partaking of the astonishment. It is impossible for the man of pious reflection not to perceive in it a finger of that Almighty hand which has been so frequently and signally extended to our relief in the critical stages of the revolution.”

Those are the words of James Madison in Federalist Number 37 about the then-recent Convention, in which he had been the Chief Architect of the then-new U.S. Constitution. He wrote these words to citizens of America in 1788 to persuade them to ratify the Constitution over the previously inadequate Articles of Confederation.

Who among us is wiser than James Madison? None to be found.

UNWELCOME IN OUR OWN HOMELAND?
Americans of every race and ethnicity have sacrificed their fortunes, their well-being and their very lives since the foundation of our very special and utterly unique country to preserve our liberties which are a gift from Almighty God. Our Founders assiduously studied the history of nations both in the ancient world and in their contemporary environment to determine which systems of governance work and which do not.

Alexander Hamilton, in particular, continually reminded his contemporaries that it is not possible to anticipate all future events. They were making the best calculation they could under the circumstances at hand and with knowledge that then existed.

They perceived most of their countrymen to be both intelligent and well-informed. It could not have been anticipated by them what the America of 2021 would be like. Of course they did not preconceive instantaneous communication or social media. But even more importantly, they didn’t really expect Americans to become so gullible and susceptible to the nefarious forces of a cancel culture who strive to erase history.

Today, we no longer honor the scholarship and insights of James Madison and Alexander Hamilton. Obviously we don’t even remember the lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I remember his “I Have a Dream” speech at the time it was delivered in 1963. Do you?

There is no way that this Baptist Minister wanted Christians to be condemned and ostracized from our own society. He certainly never wanted those who put into practice their family values to be persecuted.

WHOSE AGENDA IS THE HARRIS-BIDEN ADMINISTRATION FOLLOWING?
We have seen that it is not that of the Founders of our country nor is it that of the martyred leader of the Civil Rights Movement. In which foreign capitals and in which seditious enclaves here in America are our enemies chuckling and sneering at how easy it has been to win without a fight?

As I finish reading all of the Federalist Papers, I will mention them one more time before I close. At the time that our U.S. Constitution was ratified, Americans thought for themselves and did as they felt right and proper. They could be convinced by scholarly persuasion but would not have been deceived by an unsubstantiated blurb of 280 characters or less.

Technology is not always a sign of progress. Sometimes it robs us of the depth of analysis that is required to fully comprehend issues of great moment. “Moment” was a word which connoted importance or consequence. Now, we have relegated it to nothing more than just a brief period of time.

“Perspicacity is a penetrating discernment — a clarity of vision or intellect which provides a deep understanding and insight. It takes the concept of wisdom deeper in the sense that it denotes a keenness of sense and intelligence applied to insight. It has been described as a deeper level of internalization.”

OUR FUTURE DEPENDS UPON HOW WE ANSWER THIS QUESTION
Are we capable of the deep thought and serious intentions of our Founders? If not, we have lost America!

The Racist Sound of ‘Whiteness Is a Pandemic’

COMMENTARY BY
Portrait of Tim Graham
Tim Graham
@TimJGraham

Tim Graham is director of media analysis at the Media Research Center and executive editor of the blog NewsBusters.org.

The Root is obviously a hyperbolically racial magazine, since its slogan is “The Blacker the Content the Sweeter the Truth.” It’s not surprising that it frequently publishes writer Damon Young, author of the memoir “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker.” We’re told he asked important and dramatic questions like “Will this white person’s potato salad kill me?”

Young’s memoir was honored as “required reading” by NPR and celebrated by Entertainment Weekly and The Washington Post, among others. He became a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times.

The paranoia overflowed from this self-described “professional Black person” on St. Patrick’s Day. Young posted a piece titled “Whiteness Is a Pandemic.” This was not a joke. It began: “Whiteness is a public health crisis. It shortens life expectancies, it pollutes air, it constricts equilibrium, it devastates forests, it melts ice caps, it sparks (and funds) wars, it flattens dialects, it infests consciousnesses, and it kills people — white people and people who are not white, my mom included. There will be people who die, in 2050, because of white supremacy-induced decisions from 1850.”

We can all imagine what might happen professionally to a writer if he were to pen this kind of foam-flecked copy but instead talk about “blackness.” It’d be denounced as virulently racist. But to hate everything about the infestation of Caucasians is not defined as “hate speech.” It’s somehow “anti-racist.”

This article ended the same way: “White supremacy is a virus that, like other viruses, will not die until there are no bodies left for it to infect. Which means the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it. I guess a vaccine could work, too. But we’ve had 400 years to develop one, so I won’t hold my breath.”

We could develop our own paranoia that this sounds like a call to isolate and kill the whites like we would a virus.

Young’s news hook was the terrible mass shooting in Georgia, where a white man killed eight people, including six women of Asian descent. He blamed former President Trump and the Republicans, no matter what the unfolding evidence shows.

“A line can and should be drawn from the actions of the white supremacist … to the relentless anti-Asian rhetoric pollinating national discourse over the past year,” he wrote. “The former president, and the party of the former president, can and should be blamed for this and the sudden increase of racist violence against Asian Americans.”

This kind of writing cannot be “fact-checked,” since it’s more performance art than journalism, like a one-man show at a radical-left coffeehouse. These are fighting words meant to inflame and draw attention to the writer. It’s no dialogue about “healing.” He’s not interested in that, anyway.

Last year, he wrote a New York Times piece headlined “Yeah, Let’s Not Talk About Race.” Young overflowed with contempt for white people who try to tell him they loved his book and want to have a “Serious Conversation About Racism (SCAR),” as in getting “SCAR-bombed at Jiffy Lube.”

He wrote that these conversations are a waste of his precious time for a “professional Black person” such as himself. Raging against racism is his full-time job, so white sympathizers should not attempt to talk with him. “(Y)ou’re asking me to work for you for free,” he said.

He also employed a “Looney Tunes” analogy, writing, “I doubt the Road Runner, after a day of outrunning, outscheming and outlasting Wile E. Coyote, wishes to come home and explain coyote supremacy to the liberal coyotes who live in his neighborhood.”

Anyone who encourages this manic monologue is encouraging never-ending hatred and division.

Dark New Dem Bill Uses “Counter American Intelligence” To Wage War on MAGA

March 23, 2021 (17h ago)

2021.03.24-02.30-revolvernews-605aa4346458c.jpg

Last week, HBO released Part 1 of its 6-part docuseries “Q: Into The Storm.” It’s the latest douse of lighter fluid on a growing pyre of Regime Media agitprop against “conspiracy theories tearing democracy apart.”

Not to be outdone, CNN Clockwork Orange’d the country’s airport terminal captives with another round of “She’s losing her parents to QAnon. Listen to her plea”:

View: https://youtu.be/qUxkONMfW6U
1:23 min

Evidently, “When parents become strangers: How QAnon is tearing families apart” and “’They’re unrecognizable’: One woman reflects on losing her parents to QAnon” were such box office blockbusters the industry keeps churning out sequels.

In turn, the right-wing internet trended the meme “Blue Anon,” a counter-concept designed to mock left-wing conspiracy theories. The results were predictable: Google banned the term Blue Anon from the front page of its search results. Internet slang repository Urban Dictionary banned the entry for the term “BlueAnon” altogether.

1616618095145.png

Angry slingshots from Right-Wing Twitter eventually got the term reinstated on Urban Dictionary, but there’s obviously no chance in hell at getting global hegemon Google to budge.

The pattern is simple. The full apparatus of the Globalist American Empire mobilizes on behalf of those who believe and promote discredited conspiracies like the Russiagate Hoax, the Jussie Smollett Hoax, Covington Hoax, and so forth. On the other hand, the full apparatus of the Globalist American Empire mobilizes against those who believe and promote QAnon.

In other words, the regime codifies and sacralizes Ruling Party conspiracy theories, while it pathologizes and criminalizes Ruled Party conspiracy theories, all as a means of controlling the narrative in our so-called “democracy.”

For quite some time the loaded phrase “conspiracy theory” has enjoyed pride of place alongside the nebulous, catch-all phrase “hate speech” as a censorship predicate used to silence online speech. Since 1/6, however, the phrase’s use case has expanded from censorship predicate to a prized tool in the Globalist American Empire’s security state’s latest attempt to target Trump supporters as de facto domestic terrorists.

Today, that rhetorical razorblade is being codified into law. For the past two months, a Democrat Congressional coalition has been backing a terrifying bill to bar anyone who has ever believed in “conspiracy theories” from holding a security clearance.

2021.03.20-05.39-revolvernews-6056336990388.png

This so-called “Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021” would ban all skeptics of all Official Narratives from ever occupying a senior US government position. Non-believers would be legally prohibited from aspiring to even the most middling State Department or Defense Department career. Blasphemers would be banned for life from all 17 (18?) intelligence agencies, as well as thousands of government contractor jobs and legislative committee roles.

Disgraced national security reporter Josh Rogin of the Washington Post whitewashed the proposed bill as a sensible measure to stop nebulous “QAnon” believers from exerting institutional influence. But WaPo’s slime job egregiously mischaracterizes the proposed legislation.

The Democrat crimethink bill clearly prohibits any “association with” any “conspiracy theories and false information about the United States Government. Even Rep. Turner’s press release stipulates that so-called “QAnon” beliefs are just a start:

2021.03.20-05.40-revolvernews-60563383ce2b8.png

While such legislation is pending, the Beltway is already collecting scalps. This month, DEA agent Mark Ibrahim was suspended for simply being near the Capitol protests as they occurred.

Ibrahim was off-duty with his family, never entered the U.S. Capitol building, and has been not charged with any crimes. Nevertheless, his national security clearance has been stripped.

2021.03.20-07.06-revolvernews-605647bd80615.png

If the bill targeted conspiracy theorists as such, it would result in the immediate termination of the entire senior leadership of the FBI, nearly every US intelligence agency, the US State Department, and almost the full roster of the Democrat Party apparatus for their collective embrace of the conspiracy theory of Russiagate.

Even within the general conspiracy theory of Russiagate, “conspiracy” charges formed the narrative’s sharpest legal spearhead. Recall, for instance, how senior Trump aides such as Paul Manafort and Rick Gates were railroaded with formal criminal charges of conspiracy against the United States.

President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and a former business associate, Rick Gates, were indicted Monday on charges of conspiracy against the United States, money laundering and several other financial charges… The indictment lays out 12 counts including conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, acting as an unregistered foreign agent and several charges related to failing to report foreign bank and financial accounts. [AP]

Meanwhile, Ruling Party Conspiracy Theories about 1/6 have extended so far as to appropriate the language of “9/11 Truth” and refer to the events as an “Inside Job.”

2021.03.20-05.40-revolvernews-6056337d626a8.png

Instead of losing their security clearances and being barred for life from public service, Ruling Party Conspiracy Theorists alleging “Inside Job!” were taken so seriously that the FBI swooped in and seized cell phone data from sitting members of Congress.
2021.03.20-05.39-revolvernews-6056336de405a.png

Note especially how such Congressional data was mass-collected by the FBI without a warrant:

2021.03.20-05.40-revolvernews-6056337425bfb.png

The FBI’s iron-fisted Secret Police Dragnet descended on our nation’s elected representatives — who are still under active investigation — because of the incredible power of a Ruling Party Conspiracy Theory.

At the same time, the Ruling Party has permanently altered the terms of engagement to our speech-based political system to weed out Ruled Party Conspiracies Theories. Such an innovation assesses “conspiracy theories” at the level of narratives, then squashes Ruled Party narratives before they gain traction, eliminating any chance of a successful investigation or hearts and minds swaying to the side of the Ruled Party.

The farce behind this new effective criminalization of “conspiracy” is revealed by the fact that organized covert action plotted in secret — conspiracy — is the literal job description of a vast swath of U.S. government agencies under the 1947 National Security Act.

It follows, therefore, that under the proposed “Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021,” believing the U.S. government does its job is, in a general sense, a disqualification from occupying a senior role in the U.S. government.

Basic national security documents like NSC 10-2 freely concede that an enormous array of covert actions undertaken by Federal agents are never to be evident to “unauthorized persons,” and if they are uncovered, the U.S. Government must be able to plausibly deny them.

2021.03.20-06.12-revolvernews-60563b10deca5.jpg

In the 1980s, this “iceberg” of deniable operations famously humiliated the Reagan Administration during the Iran Contra scandal.

2021.03.23-01.51-revolvernews-6059498a300fe.png

If that scandal were repeated today, would a hearing and media scrutiny follow? Or would the national security state simply coerce its civil society partners to deplatform and disbar the vast majority of Americans who dared discuss it? See, e.g., 26:58-28:58 of that hearing:

View: https://youtu.be/R-GlPMmIHBU
6:02:21 min

The transcript, in relevant part, is below:

SEN. NIELDS: In certain communist countries, the government’s activities are kept secret from the people. But that’s not the way we do things in America, is it?

NORTH: … By their very nature covert operations or special activities are a lie. There is great deceit, deception practiced in the conduct of covert operation. They are at essence a lie. We make every effort to deceive the enemy as to our intent, our conduct and to deny the association of the United States with those activities… The effort to conduct these covert operations was made in such a way that our adversaries would not have knowledge of them, or that we could deny American association with it, or the association of this government with those activities. And that is not wrong.

SEN. NIELDS: The American people were told by this government that our government had nothing to do with the Hasenfus airplane, and that was false. And it is a principal purpose of these hearings to replace secrecy and deception with disclosure and truth.

So much for the anti-Conspiracy Theory bill’s logically self-defeating design.

Of course, no one with the remotest understanding of how things work would think that this new effort to weed out conspiracy theorists from the national security state would apply to Russiagaters, or a host of other fashionable conspiracies embraced by our corrupt ruling class.

Again, this bill and other measures like it don’t represent good faith attempts at weeding out both Ruling Party conspiracy theorists and Ruled Party conspiracy theorists from America’s national security apparatus.

Instead, they seek to weed out those sympathetic to President Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) from the national security state, so that the national security state might more effectively and fully cleanse America of MAGA sympathetic beliefs.

The use of “conspiracy theory” as a censorship predicate to neutralize opposition narratives and political mobilization is nothing new (see, e.g., a book by a UT professor on the term’s origin and evolution).

What is new, and disturbing, is how the regime has incorporated its attack on opposition party conspiracy allegations into its broader project of labeling Trump supporters as de facto domestic terrorists and marshaling the full force of the national security state to destroy them.

Counter-American Intelligence
What we are witnessing, in effect, is a foreign counterintelligence operation turned inward and aimed directly at the American people. “Counterintelligence” concerns insider threats to the operational integrity of US military-intelligence organizations and missions.

2021.03.22-07.25-revolvernews-6058ef3a5a1f5.png

As originally designed, American counter-intelligence is meant to prevent the American security apparatus from being infiltrated by hostile foreign actors.

What we are seeing now, however, is something quite different — a deliberate effort to cleanse our entire security apparatus of patriots — perhaps as preparation for a full scale effort to cleanse the entire country of American patriots, or anyone, for that matter, who objects to the open air prison that the Globalist American Empire has become.

The traditional discipline of American counter-intelligence has thus morphed into what we might call Counter-American Intelligence.

Traditional counter-intelligence techniques, strategies, and mindsets are being re-purposed domestically, in order to cleanse the entire U.S. national security apparatus, including the DOD, of latent political sympathies.

Today, the top target of this Counter-American Intelligence operation is President Trump’s MAGA movement.

Adding insult to injury, the U.S. national security state’s pretext for launching this operation was itself based on the wild-eyed conspiracy theory that thousands of Trump supporters in military and law enforcement are training in state-sanctioned violence by day, then secretly moonlighting as vigilante militiamen plotting government overthrow by night. They’re forming networks, the theory goes, and now it’s the nation’s top national security threat.

As of the time of this writing, the entire Department of Defense is in the middle of a 60-day stand-down for every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces to scrub right-wing “extremism” from its ranks.

The U.S. military on Wednesday acknowledged it was unsure about how to address white nationalism and other extremism in its ranks, and announced plans for military-wide stand-downs pausing regular activity at some point in the next 60 days to tackle the issue.

The decision to a hold a stand-down was made by Lloyd Austin, who made history by becoming the military’s first Black defense secretary after a long career rising in the ranks of the Army. In his confirmation hearing, Austin underscored the need to rid the military of “racists and extremists”.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Austin ordered the stand-down after a meeting with the U.S. military branch leaders, who are under pressure to show progress in combating extremism after current and former military servicemembers were found to have participated in the siege of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. On TB every waking moment
Part 2 of 2

In response to a recent Tucker Carlson monologue critical of the United States’ military prerogative regarding sending pregnant women to fight our wars, the U.S. military circled the wagons to launch an unprecedented aerial bombardment on an American journalist. It’s no longer difficult to imagine the Armed Forces’ “counter-extremism” program executing a drone strike on the other side of the Overton Window.

2021.03.20-07.32-revolvernews-60564dd537b00.png

Tucker’s monologue is, for now, still available on Fox News’s YouTube channel. Archive it while you can:

But while the purge of “domestic extremist” political beliefs is still underway at the Pentagon, early reports from military officers on social media indicate our worst fears are being confirmed:

2021.03.20-07.39-revolvernews-60564f6402db9.png

At the same time, the Pentagon is having a public freak-out over the preponderance of troops who view the events of 1/6 as roughly equal to the summer-long race riots associated with the death of George Floyd. Keep in mind that these so-called “peaceful” riots happened to coincide with an unprecedented 25 percent nationwide increase in homicides for the year.

2021.03.20-07.43-revolvernews-6056506ccf2df.png

Consider the following jaw-droppings remarks from Chief Master Sergeant Ramón Colón-López, the senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff:

2021.03.20-07.44-revolvernews-60565088d7e61.png

Meanwhile, Military Twitter has confirmed that “counter-extremism” sessions feature training materials from the disgraced Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a far left scandal-plagued organization that formally included Dr. Ben Carson on its national list of “extremist” figures.

Evidently, the famed African-American neurosurgeon and former HUD Secretary is too extreme to be accepted into the American military in 2021.

2021.03.20-07.39-revolvernews-60564f895fb7c.png

Yesterday, PJ Media purported to obtain a copy of some of these training materials:
I have obtained a copy of all the materials regarding the sudden new threat of “Extremism” used for training in the United States military. Throughout the services, service members have been shocked at the Biden blitz to root out ideas and people who stand in the way of the administration’s transformative agenda.

One individual in the training told me, “The military is one of the last institutions left that hasn’t been radicalized by the progressives. That’s why it is being targeted now.”

All personnel are being subjected to a PowerPoint presentation packed with progressive ideology and misstatements of the Constitution. Designated officers are conducting the training on bases, stations, and ships at sea. The slides contain misstatements of the law and warped characterizations of fellow citizens who believe in constitutional principles. [PJ Media]

In response to further calls for information on “extremism” purge meetings, conservative journalist and activist Jack Posobiec posted the following account (emphasis added):

Further testimonials sent to Posobiec are below:

And, finally, as if to swoop in for the sole express purpose of confirming the thesis of this article — that “counter-extremism” is a Counter-American, Counterintelligence Operation — the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Division itself even took to Twitter to pile on more attacks on a civilian, Tucker Carlson, for opinions expressed within the civilian realm.

They did this from their officially authorized, blue-check verified, government-paid-to-maintain account (and notably, a communications channel from which the former Commander-in-Chief has been permanently banned).

Closing Note
If all of that was not enough to convince of you of a Counter-American, Counterintelligence operation being run by the U.S. national security state to stamp out MAGA, consider the following article last week from Anne Applebaum.

2021.03.20-08.31-revolvernews-60565baf92f0d.png

Applebaum’s piece stresses the need for increased China-style Internet censorship to stop the proliferation of dissident political opinions. A sample passage reads:

In the surreal interregnum that followed the 2020 election, the price of America’s refusal to reform its internet suddenly became very high. Then-President Donald Trump and his supporters pushed out an entirely false narrative of electoral fraud. Those claims were reinforced on extreme-right television channels, then repeated and amplified in cyberspace, creating an alternative reality inhabited by millions of people where Trump had indeed won. QAnon—a conspiracy theory that had burst out of the subterranean internet and flooded onto platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, convincing millions that political elites are a cabal of globalist pedophiles—spilled into the real world and helped inspire the mobs that stormed the Capitol. Twitter made the extraordinary decision to ban the U.S. president for encouraging violence; the amount of election disinformation in circulation immediately dropped. [The Atlantic]

But Anne Applebaum is no ordinary opinion journalist. She was nailed as a covert intelligence conduit — a spook — in the “Integrity Initiative” leaks of 2018.

For the uninitiated, the Integrity Initiative leaks revealed a joint US-UK-NATO covert action operation in which a cabal of counterintelligence operatives organized a global propaganda bullhorn to amplify the Ruling Party Conspiracy Theory of Russiagate. These civil society intermediaries, functioning as undercover intelligence cut-outs, were secretly organized into clusters by countries, such as a US Cluster, a UK Cluster, a France Cluster, a Spain Cluster, and so on.

This covert, state-sponsored cabal even leaped into action to block specific political candidates from attaining key roles in public service:

These US-UK-NATO intelligence-backed cluster cells went to extraordinary lengths to prevent public knowledge of their operations:

Fine, you say. It’s just an international conspiracy covertly operated by MAGA’s chief globalist antagonists to coordinate media, military and elite policy-making decisions on foreign policy issues like Russia. How does that effect me?

Well, have a gander at Anne Applebaum’s Twitter this week and you’ll see her retweet the glowing approval of her Counter-American Intelligence plot from none other than Peter Strzok.

In closing, this Twitter exchange between disgraced FBI Counterespionage Chief Peter Strzok and transatlantic intelligence spook Anne Applebaum is worth seeing with your own eyes. Who has the intelligence community declared its top “CI” (Counterintelligence) target?

It’s you, citizen. And if pointing that out is alleging a conspiracy, then let us reply in turn as they do:

DHS looking at tracking travel of domestic extremists
Law enforcement sources say that Homeland Security is investigating monitoring movements of U.S. extremists and white supremacists.

The Department of Homeland Security is considering monitoring the travel of domestic extremists and expanding its use of the No Fly List, law enforcement sources told POLITICO.

The discussions are part of the Biden administration’s strategy of treating domestic terror as a national security threat, and not just a law enforcement problem. They're also part of broader conversations in government about how to use tools developed for the Global War on Terror to combat domestic extremism. And, if past is prologue, the approach could prove politically contentious.

The department could begin analyzing the travel patterns of suspected domestic extremists, monitor flights they book on short notice and search their luggage for weapons, a senior law enforcement official told POLITICO. There have also been discussions about putting suspected domestic violent extremists — a category that includes white supremacists — on the FBI’s No Fly List, the official said. When suspected extremists travel internationally, officials may be more likely to question them before they pass through customs and to search their phones and laptops.

A second law enforcement official told POLITICO that conversations about monitoring domestic extremists’ travel have involved multiple federal agencies at the interagency level, including the FBI.

“Domestic violent extremism poses the most lethal, persistent terrorism-related threat to our homeland today," a DHS spokesperson said in response to a request for comment. "DHS is committed to improving security and is reviewing options for enhancing screening and vetting protocols and travel pattern analyses, consistent with privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties.”

The FBI declined to comment.

Officials at DHS are interested in international travel connected to the kind of ideologically motivated terrorism that inspired the Capitol insurrection, the official added, and may increase this focus. An unclassified U.S. intelligence assessment released earlier this month highlighted the intelligence community’s interest in domestic extremists’ international travel.

The threat from domestic terrorists has grown in recent years, and — per the Center for Strategic and International Studies — white supremacists were responsible for two thirds of all terror plots and attacks in 2020. But the Trump White House largely downplayed the threat from white supremacists as the president instead tweeted ceaselessly about Antifa. The Trump national counterterrorism strategy — a 2018 document — only mentioned the threat in two brief paragraphs. And DHS officials who tried to combat the problem under Trump told POLITICO last year that a barrage of crises within the administration hampered their ability to get much done.

Elizabeth Neumann, who worked on domestic terror prevention at DHS under Trump, previously told POLITICO that National Security Council staff tried to work on the issue in an organized way — but without much progress.

“[W]hen you have chaos all around you, it’s really hard to do process stuff,” she said.

Instead, the Trump administration stressed its concerns about far-left agitators. Trump tweeted that he planned to designate Antifa as a terrorist group — a move that would have been legally impossible. And a state law enforcement official told POLITICO in the final months of the Trump administration that DHS intelligence products overemphasized the threat from the left while under-emphasizing the threat from the right.

On January 6, far right domestic extremists ransacked the Capitol Building — a catastrophe that better intelligence could have prevented.

Federal law enforcement officials are now trying to figure out how to prevent future attacks, and discussing how to scrutinize domestic extremists’ travel in a more organized and deliberate way. DHS was founded in the wake of 9/11 as part of efforts to prevent future terror attacks. Its components — including the TSA and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) — specialize in aviation security and already have broad access to Americans’ travel information.

One challenge that DHS and FBI officials are weighing is how to distinguish between people traveling to exercise their Constitutional rights — by attending a protest, for instance — and those traveling to commit crimes. Those same challenges materialized in the efforts by national security officials to prevent foreign terrorism.

Some of those efforts are deeply controversial. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other civil rights groups have long lambasted the feds’ use of the secretive No Fly List.

Americans on the list don’t have the right to know why exactly they’re on it, and it can be difficult or impossible to get removed once they’re there. The ACLU has called it “an indefinite Kafkaesque nightmare.”

Groups advocating for American Muslims have participated in multiple lawsuits to remove people’s names from the list. They scored an incremental win related to travel restrictions at the Supreme Court last December. The justices voted unanimously to let three Muslim men sue FBI agents who promised to help get them off the No Fly List if they aided Bureau surveillance of other Muslims. That case, Tanzin v. Tanvir, is ongoing.

Federal efforts to stop terrorists from traveling have even ensnared lawmakers. The late Sen. Ted Kennedy famously said he was stopped and interrogated multiple times at airports, and the late civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis said he was held up more than 35 times in one year, per CNN.

Details of the FBI list are scant. In 2016, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said fewer than 1,000 U.S. persons are on it. If the DHS and FBI talks reach fruition, that number could grow.

WOW: Rep. Matt Gaetz Obliterates Fellow Congressmen For Using SPLC and ‘Cancel Culture’ to Attack Members of Our Military (MUST WATCH VIDEO)

By Cassandra Fairbanks

Rep. Matt Gaetz did not hold back as he blasted both Democrats and Republicans in the House Armed Services Committee for using cancel culture to attack members of our military.

On Tuesday, the committee held a hearing about “extremism in the military” and what to do about any perceived “hate speech” or wrong think within the ranks.

Democrats have been feigning shock and concern over the fact that a large number of veterans and members of the military were in DC on January 6 — whether they were just attending Donald Trump’s speech or participated in the rowdy protest that followed. Some Republicans ceded ground by considering their ridiculous witch hunt.

Rep. Gaetz was not one of those spineless cowards and forcefully defended the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us.

Here are some of the things the Democrats had to say about members of our military during the hearing:

2:56 min

When it was his turn to speak, the Florida congressman began by noting that he represents the district that has the highest concentration of active duty military in the country.
“Respectfully, it is on their behalf that I would categorize this hearing as total nonsense,” Rep. Gaetz asserted. “Today, the Chinese Communist Party is building aircraft carriers and jets that every member of this committee knows threaten to close or eliminate the capability gap. North Korea is perfecting the ability to strike the United States with nuclear weapons. Cartels are hunting the next trafficking routes.”
Yet, the committee was meeting to hunt down mean thoughts in the military.

“Today, the House Armed Services Committee is engaged in a review of constitutionally protected expression by our troops,” he forcefully pointed out. “How utterly weak of us. No wonder the Chinese Communist Party continues to gain ground.

The verbal lashing of the people in the committee engaged in the witch hunt did not stop there. A fiery Gaetz pointed out that the purpose of the hearing was to gaslight the targeting of US military who do not have pre-approved politics.
“This is not about extremism. It is not about white supremacy. It as about woke supremacy,” Rep. Gaetz continued. “It is about converting the military from an apolitical institution to an institution controlled by the political left.”
He pointed out that they were there, gathered, to have a hearing designed to try to “get us to view our fellow countrymen and women who protect us as some how ‘evil’, or ‘dangerous’, or a ‘cancer that needs to exorcised.'”

Rep. Gaetz informed the committee that there is “a difference between weeding out bad apples who should be removed from the ranks and using the charge of extremism to stigmatize different opinions.” He pointed out that “increasingly, ‘extremism’ is a euphemism that Democrats are using when talking about conservatives, Republicans — and the group they hate most — Trump supporters.”

Today’s HASC hearing on “extremism in the military” is a total joke.
It is about nothing more than cancel culture coming for our military.
We ought to tread carefully because our fellow Americans do not take kindly to this type of tyranny. pic.twitter.com/ZOAFw0emvN
— Rep. Matt Gaetz (@RepMattGaetz) March 24, 2021
He pointed out that a member of the far-left extremist organization, the Southern Poverty Law Center, was even a witness at the hearing. The SPLC had branded the Family Research Council, a pro-family conservative organization, a hate group.

Rep. Gaetz pointed out that the SPLC designation caused a deranged leftist to try to shoot up the Family Research Council’s headquarters.
“The Southern Poverty Law Center is a hate group,” Rep. Gaetz said, in no uncertain terms.
“Today, we’re literally being lectured on extremism by a hate group,” he added.

He also asked if having a “Pepe the Frog” meme on your phone makes you a dangerous extremist — pointing out how ludicrous it all is.

Rep. Gaetz also blasted the doxing of Westpoint cadets who were accused of “hate symbols” for being photographed making the okay sign. They were playing the circle game. The symbol was a common sight among Trump supporters because he would often make that gesture during speeches when he was making a point. It was subsequently added to the Anti Defamation League’s hate symbol list because of hysterical leftist conspiracy theorists.

“The FBI would rather investigate garage pulls than antifa,” he stated.

He asked how long it would be until “Make America Great Again” hats are considered an “extremist symbol.”

The speech concluded with Rep. Gaetz asserting that the hearing was “nothing more than cancel culture coming for our military and it is disgusting. It is about power and we ought to tread carefully because our fellow Americans do not take kindly to this type of tyranny.”

He boldly asserted that he had no questions for the witnesses because the hearing is a joke.
…and that folks, is how it’s done.

US Intelligence Community Increasingly Involving Itself In Domestic Politics: Greenwald

WEDNESDAY, MAR 24, 2021 - 05:40 PM
Authored by Glenn Greenwald via greenwald.substack.com

A report declassified last Wednesday by the Department of Homeland Security is raising serious concerns about the possibly illegal involvement by the intelligence community in U.S. domestic political affairs.

Entitled “Domestic Violent Extremism Poses Heightened Threat in 2021,” the March 1 Report from the Director of National Intelligence states that it was prepared “in consultation with the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security—and was drafted by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with contributions from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).”

Its primary point is this: “The IC [intelligence community] assesses that domestic violent extremists (DVEs) who are motivated by a range of ideologies and galvanized by recent political and societal events in the United States pose an elevated threat to the Homeland in 2021.”

While asserting that “the most lethal” of these threats is posed by “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists (RMVEs) and militia violent extremists (MVEs),” it makes clear that its target encompasses a wide range of groups from the left (Antifa, animal rights and environmental activists, pro-choice extremists and anarchists: “those who oppose capitalism and all forms of globalization”) to the right (sovereign citizen movements, anti-abortion activists and those deemed motivated by racial or ethnic hatreds).

The U.S. security state apparatus regards the agenda of “domestic violent extremists” as “derived from anti-government or anti-authority sentiment,” which includes “opposition to perceived economic, racial or social hierarchies.” In sum, to the Department of Homeland Security, an “extremist” is anyone who opposes the current prevailing ruling class and system for distributing power. Anyone they believe is prepared to use violence, intimidation or coercion in pursuit of these causes then becomes a “domestic violent extremist,” subject to a vast array of surveillance, monitoring and other forms of legal restrictions:

Department of Homeland Security report, Mar.1, 2021
It goes without saying that violence of any kind — including that which is politically motivated — is a serious crime under U.S. law, and it is the proper role of the U.S. Government to investigate and prevent it. But there are real and important legal and institutional limits on the authority of the intelligence community to involve itself in domestic law enforcement, or other forms of domestic political activity, that seem threatened here, if not outright violated.

In particular, the Report’s acknowledgement that it was compiled by institutions including “the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with contributions from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)” has alarmed numerous members of the House Intelligence Committee. On Thursday, all ten minority members of that Committee wrote a previously unreported letter to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines “to raise serious concerns about the production of this document by the Intelligence Community (IC) and to seek clarification of the facts related to its production.”

Among the issues raised was that the DHS Report was not subject to the standard rigors of an intelligence community finding, yet continually makes sweeping claims that it prefixes with the authoritative phrase “the IC assesses.” The Committee members found this “to be misleading,” adding: we “urge you to clarify which elements in the IC concurred with this judgement and the intelligence basis, if any, for that concurrence.” In other words, Haines claims that these dubious assertions about various threats faced by Americans are the findings of the intelligence community when that is not true: just like the originally false claim widely spread by the media that “all seventeen intelligence agencies” endorsed the 2016 election findings about Russian interference when, in fact, it was only a few which had done so. Haines’ claims have support only from a few agencies as well.

But the more substantive danger is the role played by the CIA and other intelligence agencies in the domestic politics of the U.S., all in the name of fighting “domestic terrorism” (similar dangers were previously created by the Bush and Obama administrations in the name of fighting “international terrorism”). As the committee members’ letter details:

The Intelligence Committee members, citing the fact that the intelligence community is “subject to longstanding prohibitions against domestic activities,” then demanded answers to a series of questions based on this substantive concern:

Involvement of the intelligence community in the domestic activities of U.S. citizens is one of the most dangerous breaches of civil liberties and democratic order the U.S. Government can perpetrate. It was after World War II when the CIA, the NSA and other security state agencies that wield immense and unlimited powers in the dark were created in the name of fighting the Cold War. Legal and institutional prohibitions on wielding that massive machinery against the American public were central to the always-dubious claim that this security behemoth that operates completely in the dark was compatible with democracy. As the ACLU noted, “in its 1947 charter, the CIA was prohibited from spying against Americans, in part because President Truman was afraid that the agency would engage in political abuse.”

Since then, Truman’s fear has been realized over and over. Some of the worst post-WW2 civil liberties abuses have been the result of breaches by the CIA and other agencies of this prohibition. As the ACLU documents, the CIA in the 1960s was caught infiltrating and manipulating numerous domestic political activist groups. Under the auspices of the War on Terror, entire new bureaucracies (such as the Department of Homeland Security) and new legal regimes (such as the Patriot Act and the FISA Amendments Act) were designed to erode these long-standing limitations by dramatically increasing surveillance powers aimed at U.S. citizens.

And by design, the infiltration of these security state agencies in U.S. domestic politics has dramatically escalated.

As the first War on Terror was escalating, The Washington Post — under the headline “CIA Is Expanding Domestic Operations” — reported in October, 2002, that “The Central Intelligence Agency is expanding its domestic presence, placing agents with nearly all of the FBI's 56 terrorism task forces in U.S. cities.” The Post added that in the name of that War on Terror:
FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III recently described the new arrangement as his answer to MI5, Britain's internal security service. Unlike the CIA, MI5 is empowered to collect intelligence within Britain and to act to disrupt domestic threats to British national security. "It goes some distance to accomplishing what the MI5 does," Mueller told a House-Senate intelligence panel last week in describing the new CIA role in the FBI task forces.
In the years following, two NSA whistleblowers — William Binney and Edward Snowden — both cited their horror over the turning of the surveillance machinery against American citizens as the reason for their decision to denounce their agency. One of the aspects that most disturbed me about the Russiagate conspiracy theory from the start was that it was created and disseminated by the CIA and related agencies with the intent, first, to alter the outcome of the 2016 election, and then to undermine the elected president with whom they were at war.

Shortly before Trump’s inauguration, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) went on The Rachel Maddow Show to warn — or more accurately: threaten — Trump that the CIA would destroy his presidency if he continued to criticize or otherwise oppose them:

It is encouraging to see Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee starting to express serious concerns over the dangers of intelligence community involvement in domestic politics. That is underscored by their approving citation to the mild mid-1970s reforms of the intelligence community ushered in by the Senate’s Church Committee, once primarily a liberal cause. Indeed, many of the same House Republicans who wrote this important letter to the DNI have in the past supported laws that allow greater involvement of the CIA, NSA and other agencies in activities on U.S. soil — including the Patriot Act.

The head of the Church Committee, Sen. Frank Church (D-ID), made clear in his iconic quote on Meet the Press in 1975 that those reforms were primarily motivated by fears that the U.S. Government would one day turn its vast intelligence powers onto the American people, rendering core civil liberties an illusion:
In the need to develop a capacity to know what potential enemies are doing, the United States government has perfected a technological capability that enables us to monitor the messages that go through the air. (...) We must know, at the same time, that capability at any time could be turned around on the American people, and no American would have any privacy left: such is the capability to monitor everything—telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn't matter. There would be no place to hide.
(That quote from Sen. Church was the first one that appeared in my 2014 book on the NSA reporting I did with Edward Snowden, and the title of that book, No Place to Hide, was a nod toward Church’s chilling warning, now come true).

As I have been repeatedly noting over the last two months, the Biden administration, along with leading Democrats such as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), have been stating explicitly that one of their top priorities is the adoption of new laws designed to import the Bush/Cheney/Obama War on Terror onto U.S. soil for domestic purposes. As recently as February 14, The Washington Post — under the headline: “The agency founded because of 9/11 is shifting to face the threat of domestic terrorism” — noted that Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, is now demanding that homeland security resources be re-directed toward domestic extremists, and “lawmakers of both parties spoke favorably of new legislation to specifically address domestic terrorism.”

Nobody from the Biden administration or Congressional members demanding enactment of Schiff’s proposed new “domestic terrorism” law can identify any activities that are not now criminal that they believe ought to be. Unless it is to permit intelligence agencies to start policing constitutionally protected speech and associational activities among U.S. citizens, why are any new laws needed? Unless it is to empower them to escalate their already-aggressive use of War on Terror tactics against U.S. citizens, what do they want security state agencies to be able to do on U.S. soil that they cannot now do?

But just as the fear of international terrorism was constantly inflated to place such questions off limits when it came to the War on Terror, and just as critics of the excesses of the first War on Terror were constantly accused of downplaying the threat of Islamic extremism if not harboring outright sympathy for it, the same tactics are being used now. Anyone raising civil liberties concerns about what is being done in the name of combating “domestic extremism” is vilified as ignoring and even supporting such domestic extremism.

No matter: there are few dangers more acute than the weaponization of these security state instruments against U.S. citizens for political ends. The DNI should provide full, complete and truthful answers to the important questions posed by these Intelligence Committee members, and should do so promptly. The evidence of growing incursions by the intelligence community in U.S. domestic politics is already strong and ample, and further incursions would be both dangerous and illegal.

Biden Plans Rapidly Re-Engineering America In Secret Meeting, Democrats Plan MASSIVE Far Left Push

Biden Plans Rapidly Re-Engineering America In Secret Meeting, Democrats Plan MASSIVE Far Left Push. Republicans fear that Joe Biden will remove the Senate Filibuster paving the way for Democrats to push through every agenda item and policy they wish. With full party control of congress democrats can ram through basically anything they want including many far left policies. Historians in the meeting likened it to an FDR style New Deal effort which will focus on immigration, climate, and weapons. This at a time of hyperpolarization can only bring about more anger and division.

WTH Is This? Taxpayer-Funded NPR Goes After Alex Jones and his Last Channel of Income – Want Him Ruined

NPR’s Tom Dreisbach and Alex Jones from Infowars

Taxpayer-funded NPR went after Alex Jones and Infowars on Wednesday.

Correspondent Tom Dreisbach wrote a hit piece on Infowars in an attempt to ruin the company and silence Alex Jones once and for all.

Dreisbach has a long history of attacking conservatives and Trump supporters. In fact, that’s all he does if you look at this author page.

npr-alex-jones.jpg

On Wednesday Dreisbach pointed out in his hit piece that Amazon still carries Infowars merchandise. He wants that stopped.

Tom Dreisbach wants Alex Jones and his popular channel Infowars ruined and silenced.
When have we ever seen this in American history?

Why are we still paying for NPR and this filth?

Here is what Tom Dreisbach wrote today to ruin Infowars.

Via NPR:
The far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been banned from Facebook, Apple, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Spotify and even PayPal for violating those sites’ policies against hate speech. But Jones continues to have a platform to sell expensive dietary supplements through one of the world’s biggest online retailers: Amazon.
Just as Amazon provides massive third-party sellers — such as Starbucks, Coca-Cola or Apple — with their own online storefronts, Jones’ Infowars Store has a home on the site, too. There, he sells products such as “Super Male Vitality” drops, “Lung Cleanse Plus Spray” and “Prostaguard” pills.

“Thank you for supporting the Infowar!” the storefront states above its listings, suggesting that Jones is not just selling supplements but providing a path for consumers to fund his extremist causes. Meanwhile, Amazon provides support to Jones and gets a percentage of all the sales — called a “referral fee” — as it does with all third-party sellers. For supplements priced over $10, the referral fee is 15%.
Neither Amazon nor Jones responded to NPR’s requests for comment.
Tonight The Gateway Pundit reached out to NPR for comment.

We will update this report if we hear back from them.

House panel clashes over extremism in armed forces, with no input from puzzled troops

The hearing was conducted while the Pentagon continued its mandatory stand-downs to address extremism in the ranks

By Susan Katz Keating
Updated: March 25, 2021 - 2:50pm

A congressional hearing on extremism inside the military was marked on Wednesday by partisan disagreement over whether the hearing was merited, with members of Congress alternately deriding the session and one another.

The afternoon hearing before the House Armed Services Committee focused on how to define hate speech, the scope of extremism within the ranks, and whether and how it should be addressed. And, while panelists agreed that hate groups must be banned from the military, they clashed over the true purpose of the March 24 session.

"This hearing is a joke," said Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz, who noted: "This is about converting the military from an apolitical institution to an institution controlled by the political left."

Committee Chairman Adam Smith, a Washington Democrat, scoffed in response, casting Gaetz as a rabble-rouser.

"Mr. Gaetz is the best example of the demagogue problem that we have today," Smith said.

The hearing was conducted while the Pentagon continued its service-wide mandatory stand-downs to address extremism in the ranks. More than a dozen service members privately told Just the News that they have not encountered endemic extremism that officials seem to believe exists — but none from the military were invited to testify on Wednesday before the committee.

Without the eyewitness testimony, members of Congress and civilian witnesses addressed what they viewed as the scope of the issue.

"I want to root out of the military those who actively participate in vile and violent hate groups," said Rep. Mike Rogers, Alabama Republican. "But it's important to remember that extremist behavior is already prohibited by the Uniform Code of Military Justice and by each service's own regulations."

Rogers added: "This is far from the largest military justice issue facing our armed services."

House Democrats stressed that no amount of extremism is acceptable. Smith referenced what he described as a rise in anti-government sentiment inside the military.

"If you disagree with the U.S. Constitution and you disagree with the laws of this country so strongly that you think our government is no longer legitimate, then you have no business serving in the U.S. military, and you should get out now," Smith said.

Active duty troops who watched the hearing said that the comment from Smith puzzled them.

"Where does he get this?" one enlisted soldier said. "We are here to defend our country, not destroy it."

"Not one person in my unit disagrees with the laws of our country," another soldier said.

The pursuit of extremists in the ranks must be balanced against the need to honor freedom of speech, cautioned one witness.

"We should be criminalizing conduct and not their thoughts, because that's nearly impossible to do," said Marine Corps veteran Michael Berry of First Liberty Institute, an advocacy group that focuses on religious liberty.

In 2009, after Maj. Nidal Hasan shouted "Allahu Akbar" before shooting fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, the Defense Department updated its rules for handling dissident and protest activities among members of the armed forces. The resulting document, DoD Instruction 1325.06, bans military personnel from advocating for and participating in supremacist, extremist or criminal gang doctrine, ideology or causes.

When Was The Last Time The US Gov Charged Someone With ‘Sedition’?

SHELBY TALCOTTMEDIA REPORTER
March 24, 20216:48 PM ET

A federal prosecutor largely responsible for leading the criminal investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot told CBS News’ “60 Minutes” that current evidence “probably meets” sedition requirements.

While sedition is a charge under the United States government, it’s rarely used due to the country’s protections on free speech.

Despite the charge – described as occurring when an individual “oppose by force the authority” of the United States “or by force … prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States” – being rare, Michael Sherwin, the federal prosecutor CBS spoke with, believes it could become a reality.

“I personally believe the evidence is trending towards that, and probably meets those elements,” Sherwin, who led the Jan. 6 investigation until earlier in March, said. “I believe the facts do support those charges. And I think that, as we go forward, more facts will support that, Scott [Pelley].”

13:16 min

The last time the federal government levied these charges against an individual or group of individuals was over a decade ago.

Five members of “Hutaree,” a Christian militia group in Michigan, had sedition charges brought against them in 2010 after accusations “of plotting an antigovernment uprising,” The Washington Post previously reported.

While this was the most recent case of the federal government bringing sedition charges, it never ended up sticking. The judge dismissed the sedition and conspiracy charges two years later after noting there wasn’t proof that the members had legitimate plans to uprise and attack.

“The government’s case is built largely of circumstantial evidence,” Judge Victoria A. Roberts wrote at the time according to The Post. “While this evidence could certainly lead a rational fact-finder to conclude that ‘something fishy’ was going on, it does not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that defendants reached a concrete agreement to forcibly oppose the United States government.”

There has been successful cases of the federal government bringing about prosecution charges, The Post noted in an article published March 22. Egyptian Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman (along with nine others) was charged and convicted of “seditious conspiracy” 26 years ago amid the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

The group was ultimately “accused of plotting a day of terror for the United States,” according to Reuters. While none were charged directly with the bombing, they were found guilty of 48 out of 50 charges in 1995. Abdel-Rahman was sentenced to life in prison and died in 2017, Reuters reported.

The plot, according to The Post, was “part of an effort to change U.S. policy toward the Middle East.” Peter J. Henning, a law professor, told the newspaper in 2012 that the acquittal would “make the FBI more hesitant to intervene early on” regarding “domestic threats.”

Throughout history, there’s been other successful sedition cases – though it’s not common. In the 1980s, for example, two separate cases saw successful sedition convictions, The Post reported.

One of these cases was against a dozen Puerto Rican nationalists who were a part of the Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN). This group took credit for various bombings in America, according to The Post.

In another case during that decade, over a dozen white supremacists were charged with sedition in 1987. This well-known case was dubbed the Forth Smith sedition trial, though the group was acquitted one year later.

Even with a history of sedition, it doesn’t necessarily mean this charge will be brought against all – or any – of the rioters.

“The bar for sedition is higher these days, which is a big reason prosecutions have been fewer and with more time in between. And there will always be allegations that it’s being used in a politically motivated way,” The Post reported.

Still, as Sherwin told CBS News, hundreds of people have already been charged with regards to the riot. Among the hundreds, he said, there’s evidence of planning with at least some of the groups present.

“The 10% of the cases, I’ll call the more complex conspiracy cases where we do have evidence, it’s in the public record where individual militia groups from different facets: Oath Keepers, Three Percenters, Proud Boys, did have a plan. We don’t know what the full plan is, to come to D.C., organize, and breach the Capitol in some manner,” Sherwin noted.

As the investigation continues, agents are looking into whether there was “a premeditated plan to breach the Capitol,” as Pelley described it. While rioters have not yet been charged with sedition, Pelley believes the ongoing investigation may very well lead to another historic trial for America.

Marine Corps Officer Warns Congress Against Classifying Christians in Military as ‘Religious Extremists’

March 24, 2021 15:47, Last Updated: March 24, 2021 19:32
By Mark Tapscott

A slide used in a Department of Defense (DOD) training manual identifies Catholics and evangelical Christians as “religious extremists,” along with members of the Ku Klux Klan, al-Qaeda, and Hamas, according to a Marine Corps officer.

“First Liberty also obtained a screenshot of an unclassified slide from a U.S. Army training manual. The slide is entitled ‘Religious Extremism’ and it purports to identify religious extremists,” Michael Berry told the House Armed Services Committee, during a hearing on March 24 titled “Extremism in the Military.”

Berry is general counsel to the First Liberty Institute (FLI), a Plano, Texas-based public interest law firm that specializes in First Amendment and religious freedom cases. Berry is also an officer in the Marine Corps Reserves, although he presented his testimony in his capacity as a civilian.

“Included among those listed are al-Qaeda, Hamas, and the Ku Klux Klan as groups that use or advocate violence to accomplish their objectives and are therefore rightly classified as extremists,” Berry told the committee.

“But also included are Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism, who most assuredly do not advocate violence. Surely, the fact that Evangelical Christians and Catholics hold fast to millennia-old views on marriage and human sexuality does not make them extremists who are unfit to serve.

“At a time of turmoil and instability, during which our nation faces many external threats, [this] message is inappropriate and offensive to our service members and those they defend.”

The training manual that Berry referred to is used in Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s recently ordered “stand-down” to identify and root out extremists in the U.S. military. Austin’s order came in the wake of the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol, in which some of the participants were military veterans.

Austin said, in a DOD video explaining his reasons for the stand-down that all military members in each of the branches are required to view, that “there is not a single doubt in my mind that you take seriously your oath to the Constitution and that you serve this country with honor and dignity and character.”

Even so, according to Austin in the video, the stand-down is needed because of “extremism and extremist ideology, views, and conduct that runs counter to everything that we believe in.”

Austin claimed in the video that the presence of extremist views “is not new to our country and, sadly, it’s not new to our military.” He didn’t provide in the video any examples of such individuals.

The training materials used in Austin’s stand-down and presented by Berry during the hearing purported to present credible descriptions of extremist ideologies, conduct, reasoning, and identifying characteristics.

Committee Chairman Adam Smith (D-Wash.) told the hearing in his opening statement: “If you serve in the military, you pledge an oath to the U.S. Constitution and to the laws of this country.

If you disagree with that Constitution and you disagree with the laws of this country so strongly that you no longer think our government is legitimate, then you have no business serving in the U.S. military and you should get out now.”

Two issues were particularly prominent in witness testimony and committee members’ comments, the lack of credible data about the extent of any extremism in the ranks, and the lack of what constitutes impermissible expression of views and actions on behalf of those views.

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), the panel’s top Republican, told the hearing at the outset that “it is important to point out that we lack any concrete evidence that violent extremism is as rife in the military as some commentators claim.”

Rogers said “extremism was a factor” in the separation of only nine soldiers from the U.S. Army in 2020, and he noted that “since 2018, 17 Marines have been separated for extremism, gang or separatist activities.”

“That’s 17 out of 200,000. While I agree that this number ought to be zero, this is far from the largest military justice issue facing our armed services,” Rogers said.

“Earlier this year, 151 overwhelmingly liberal organizations, including Human Rights Watch, the ACLU, and SPLC Action [Southern Poverty Law Center Action Fund], urged Congress not to expand domestic terrorism charges.

“The organizations said, ‘We urge you to oppose any new domestic terrorism charge, the creation of a list of designated domestic terrorist organizations, or other expansion of existing terrorism-related authorities.’”

The committee heard from only two other witnesses, Audrey Kurth Cronin, an American University professor of international security, and Lecia Brooks, chief of staff for the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a liberal advocacy group often criticized by conservatives for defining “extremism” so broadly as to include conventional political groups that clearly are not.

The newest Republican member of the committee, Rep. Pat Fallon of Texas, pointed out that “recently the Washington Post, the New York Times, Politico, NPR, and the New Yorker magazine, just to name a few, skewered the SPLC for, among other things, corruption, harassment, racism, and a widening credibility gap.”

Fallon also noted that Cronin claimed 37 of those arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol were either U.S. military veterans or reservists.

“There are 18 million U.S. military veterans. Thirty-four were rioters. This means that 17,999,966 of us were not. That’s one out of 529,000,” Fallon said.

Smith rejected Fallon’s comments, however, as “logically absurd” because veterans arrested during or after the Jan. 6 riot don’t represent the full scope of the problem.

“We don’t know how large a problem this is. That’s why we’re having this hearing,” Smith said.

Cronin told the committee in response to a question from Rep. Jim Langevin (D-R.I.) that recruitment efforts by extremist groups targeting active and retired military individuals “is indeed becoming an increasing problem.”

Asked by Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) for his view on the use of lists of prohibited organizations, Berry said: “They can be dangerous. Labeling evangelical Christians and Catholics as ‘extremists’ is opening Pandora’s box.”

Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) expressed concern that a DOD effort against extremism will play into the hands of Chinese Communist Party efforts to damage the U.S.’s image overseas.

“There is an active propaganda campaign being prosecuted by the Chinese Communist Party right now attempting to portray our country as an evil racist hellscape with no authority to lecture them on human rights. I worry that we may be playing into our adversary’s hands, and I do worry it will undermine our ability to fight and win wars in the future,” Waltz said.

Smith concluded the hearing by saying “there are demagogues on both sides” and that he “is very concerned about over-reactions.”

“If we are targeting people and shutting them off from jobs and everything for something they said 20 years ago. There’s no reference point, no structure to that and it becomes just this excuse to shove your point of view down somebody’s throat,” he said.

The Biden presidency — already transformative for the worse

by Hugo Gurdon, Editor-in-Chief |

President Joe Biden is using his entire administration to impose “woke” precepts about race, class, and gender on a public that recognizes them as mostly pseudo-intellectual rubbish masking intolerance.

He’s made it clear that implementation will not be left to a single department or czar. It will, rather, be the core goal of his whole presidency, and every agency will be dragooned into service to achieve it.

No matter where you look, officials who once focused on housing, immigration, energy, or other discrete and dust-dry policies, have been transformed into woke legionaries, framing their responsibilities to fit a faddish crusade against fictional bigotries.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and congressional Democrats naturally support this. The House of Representatives passed the Equality Act on Feb. 25, and if the Senate follows suit, the law will add “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” as protected categories covered by the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

This would demolish the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act. So, for example, schools that teach Christian doctrine that marriage is a sacramental union of one man and one woman could be obliged to hire staff who are in gay marriages and thus live lives that repudiate and undermine their employer’s mission. Institutions will lose a shield given to them years ago to protect people’s right to transmit and live by reasonable principles that have been handed down through millennia from generation to generation.

The cultural revolution consuming America is not about accommodating diversity. It is not tolerant but intolerant — of teachings and a way of life that is good, right, and has created freedom and human happiness. It is an attempt by an overweening and temporarily ascendant ideology to roll its tanks into the landscape of private conscience, allowing only those prepared to declare acceptance of the leftist creed to engage fully in commercial, social, and charitable endeavors. As if to confirm the Democrats’ raging intolerance, Sens. Tammy Duckworth and Mazie Hirono have declared that they will vote against confirming any white nominee unless he or she is also LGBT or Q.

Every agency is doing its bit. Try to imagine one that is less germane than the Federal Reserve to the propagation of radical egalitarianism. The Fed has two mandates, to monitor inflation and unemployment and use its discretion to ameliorate problems with either. But the president, prodded by Sen. Bernie Sanders, wants it to have a third mandate: to gather data on racial disparities in hiring, joblessness, and wages and to explain what it is doing to correct them.

There is a good argument that the Fed should have only one mandate, to protect price stability, and that job creation should be fostered not by monetary policy but by broad economic policies favorable to employers. The Fed’s third mandate would charge in the opposite direction, amplifying the second mandate at the expense of the first mandate. We’d see the Fed adopt a loose monetary policy, allowing higher inflation and debauching the dollar, to stoke growth and keep minority joblessness down. But to produce minority employment, you need to encourage job creation, as the past administration did; you don’t need to undermine the Fed.

Over at the Securities and Exchange Commission, officials are pressing companies to reserve directorships for women and gender and racial minorities, and to allocate at least two board slots to people who “self-identify” as being in these special categories. This would dilute the board’s mission to create shareholder value and fill directorships with people who define themselves by the belief that sexual preferences are a matter of public interest rather than private.

Then there is the Pentagon, where the brass wishes to correct a perception throughout its ranks that the racial justice veneer of vandals who smashed cities and murdered people last summer makes their actions better than those of vandals at the opposite end of the ideological spectrum who rioted on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, causing less damage and killing no one.

The list of agencies could go on (and on), but you get the picture. The federal workforce under Democrats is pushing together to mold our society along lines laid out by cockamamie theories hatched by insulated revolutionaries in university faculty lounges, which most people recognize as false and corrosive. Their intellectual pedigree descends from people who detested America. They want us to fail.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently banned critical race theory from schools, saying that “teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money.” Washington, under our self-identifying uniter president, does not think about red cents. It’s doing everything it can to entrench a divisive ideology, and it’s spending trillions of dollars to do it.
