Big Tech Censors Religion, Too
There’s no rest for the faithful when it comes to the woke orthodoxy.

It’s not only politics. So far this year, religious groups and figures have been silenced by tech companies at a rate of about one a week, according to a new report from the Napa Legal Institute.

Consider LifeSiteNews, a popular religious news website. In February its YouTube channel was permanently banned by Google, which deleted all its videos. Google claimed its action was a response to Covid-19 misinformation but wouldn’t tell LSN which video had offended its standards. The tech giant had flagged LSN for a video of an American Catholic bishop criticizing vaccines developed with fetal cells. The website’s editor in chief said “our best guess is that the channel was taken down for our frank and factual discussion of the controversy around abortion-tainted medicines and vaccines.”

In January, Bishop Kevin Doran. an Irish Catholic, tweeted: “There is dignity in dying. As a priest, I am privileged to witness it often. Assisted suicide, where it is practiced, is not an expression of freedom or dignity.” Twitter removed this message and banned Bishop Doran from posting further. While the company reversed its decision after public opposition, others haven’t been so lucky.

The previous month, Twitter blocked a post from the Daily Citizen, which is run by Focus on the Family, an evangelical Christian nonprofit, and suspended its account. The reason: a tweet that respectfully challenged the underlying premise of transgenderism. Twitter made a similar move against Catholic World Report, though the company later said it had acted in error. Ryan T. Anderson of the Ethics and Public Policy Center saw Amazon ban his book criticizing transgenderism, “When Harry Became Sally.” Amazon shows no signs of changing course.

Books from specific publishers are often targeted, such as Catholic TAN Books. One of its authors is Paul Kengor, who wrote an anticommunist tract called “The Devil and Karl Marx. ”

TAN Books can’t advertise his work on Facebook, or that of Carrie Gress, who wrote a book on “rescuing the culture from toxic femininity.” Facebook has also banned ads for Kimberly Cook’s book, “Motherhood Redeemed.” The offending ad called it “a book that challenges feminism in the modern world.”

When posts are removed, ads are blocked, and accounts are banned, public pushback and media criticism often lead tech companies to rethink their actions. Last October, after the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List was targeted by one of Facebook’s third-party fact-checkers for “misleading claims” about Joe Biden’s policy on late-term abortions, the group went on a media blitz, securing both a reversal and an apology.

It seems likely that religious groups and individuals will face mounting threats from tech companies. Their views on marriage, sexuality, life and other moral issues are unpopular among the Silicon Valley set. Religious groups should refuse to silence themselves, change their views, or otherwise back down. Censorship is a symptom of a national collapse in civic culture. Curing the deeper disease will take all the courage and conviction we can muster.

Former Trump Aide Stephen Miller Has A Plan to Make Joe Biden Squirm
March 28, 2021 (1d ago)

2021.03.28-09.34-revolvernews-6060f66fd63be.jpg

Former Trump aide Stephen Miller has a plan to make Joe Biden squirm.
Really, really squirm.

It’s becoming more clear as the days and weeks go by that Team Trump has declared “war” on the Biden administration.

And Stephen Miller, who worked closely with President Trump on several key issues — namely immigration reform, is suited up and ready for battle.

Miller has come up with a plan to keep Biden and his radical agenda in check.

He’s organized a group of powerful Republican attorneys who are armed to the teeth and ready to take on cases of executive branch abuses and overreach.

Video on website 4:47 min

Miller’s new group will basically be a conservative version of the ACLU and a “wingman” to watchdog group Judicial Watch, which routinely does the dirty work our elected official refuse to do.

The goal of the new “America First Legal” group is to hold the Biden admin accountable to our nations laws and the Constitution. In addition, Miller’s group will seek to keep America safe from Biden’s great globalist reset. The side bonus is that it’ll make Joe’s political life a living hell.

Here’s how Politico explains the new project:
Former Trump White House policy adviser Stephen Miller, known for his hard-line immigration policies and conservative culture war postures, is launching a new legal group. And he’s looking to use it to make Joe Biden’s life miserable. The group, which will be known as America First Legal, will help organize Republican attorneys general against perceived executive branch abuses in addition to filing lawsuits of its own, according to six people familiar with the planning.
“During the Trump administration, we had the ACLU and three or four other advocacy groups consistently working with Democrats to coordinate against our policies. Miller is taking a page out of their book,” said a senior Trump administration official briefed on Miller’s plans.
Miller’s organization will join a fairly crowded ecosystem of conservative-leaning legal entities, including Judicial Watch, Alliance Defending Freedom, and the Immigration Reform Law Institute. But unlike those entities, which tend to operate around specific issues, such as religious liberty, free speech or immigration, America First Legal will be broadly focused on administrative law and executive overreach. That issue focus is derived, in large part, from the experiences that Miller and fellow Trump veterans confronted during the last administration. [Politico]
As we all remember, the left used courts and activist judges very successfully against President Trump. In many key circumstances, these tactics either slowed down or halted much of what Trump wanted to accomplish.

Turnabout is fair play.

The Socialist-Democrat false narrative of systemic racism and white supremacy

The Socialist-Democrat false narrative of systemic racism and white supremacy

“Malarkey”, to quote the current occupant of the White House.

This could be the shortest opinion piece in history, since that single word pretty much accurately sums up the topic of systemic racism and white supremacy in America today. There really is not much more that needs to be said with regards to that false narrative that is being proclaimed all across the country by the party of the ‘woke’, the Socialist-Democrat Party, and their supporters in the news media.

Yes the history of slavery and racial prejudice did indeed exist and certainly is a stain on America’s heritage. But for most Americans the subject of racial division in our nation had become a thing of the distant past. For a few decades now Americans for the most part had rid themselves of racial prejudices. They no longer paid any attention to the color of one’s skin n their daily life. Dr. King’s hopes for a color blind society had finally arrived for most Americans.

Are there still individual racists today in America? Absolutely, there’s no denying that there have always been, and very likely always will be a very small number of people who simply won’t give up their racial stereotypes and personal animus towards people who are different from themselves. But their numbers have dwindled to near insignificance in the overall picture of American in 2021.

The overwhelming vast majority of Americans dismiss them, and view them with disgust and disdain. As a society America discarded racism and white supremacy long ago. It simply no longer exists, with the exception of a few very small pockets and groups who do not reflect the opinion, nor represent the majority of Americans.

But unfortunately in January of 2009 with the inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama all of this changed. And now our country is afire with racial division, the fires stoked by the usual suspects like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and indeed Barack Obama himself. But racial tensions are also being inflamed by organizations like BLM and ANTIFA, along with and being encouraged by the Socialist-Democrat Party (Plantation Party).

The ‘Plantation Party’ instead of working for Dr. King’s colorblind society now uses the black community and racial unrest as their only way of staying in power. They keep telling the lies of systemic racism and white supremacy over and over hoping that eventually many will believe it to be true.

It’s a tactic used since the days of former Democrat President Lyndon Baines Johnson. I won’t repeat here the well-known quote made by Johnson about attracting black voters for the next two hundred years, but suffice it to say it was a disgustingly racist and insulting comment that clearly illustrates the mindset of many Democrats then, and even now. Curiously I haven’t heard that Nancy Pelosi has been calling for any sculptures or plaques of Lyndon Johnson to be removed from the U.S. Capitol.

The Socialist-Democrats are the direct cause of any racial tensions occurring in this country. They have been lying to Black Americans for decades, promising everything and delivering little.

Sadly many of the black members of the Socialist-Democrats in Washington feed this false narrative as their way of getting elected and re-elected, so that they can enrich themselves and their families off of the votes of Black Americans. And what do Black Americans get in return for their votes? Not very much, maybe a new ‘ObamaPhone’.

But if you keep feeding them lies and empty promises, hopefully enough of them will keep coming back so that you can stay in power. At least that’s the tactic that the Socialist-Democrat Party continues to use.

And many Black Americans indeed do stay loyal to the party, even though it had done very little for them for decades. That is until President Trump offered them an alternative. Lower unemployment, criminal justice reform offering a second chance for many black offenders in prison, and ‘Enterprise Zones’ to give new opportunities for black entrepreneurs. An alternative to which a larger percentage of Black Americans started to turn to, leaving the Socialist-Democrat plantation for a real opportunity for a better life in America.

Which is exactly why the Socialist-Democrats have ramped up this “systemic racism and white supremacy” campaign. Nothing more than a blatant attempt to scare Black Americans who deigned to think for themselves back into the Socialist-Democrat fold.

And it’s all nothing but a bunch of Malarkey.

Biden is Fine Pushing Racist Black Lives Matter on the US Military But Just Don’t Push ‘Politically Partisan’ Thoughts

By Joe Hoft

Joe Biden, like Barack Obama, is fine pushing radical Black Lives Matter garbage on the US military, but sailors are not allowed to push ‘political partisan’ issues, otherwise.

FOX News reported:
The US Navy’s “extremism” training says it’s okay to advocate for Black Lives Matter (BLM) while at work but sailors are not allowed to discuss “politically partisan” issues, according to training slides obtained by Fox News.
A question posed in a “scenarios for discussion” slide asked if BLM was “political stuff” that superiors in the Navy are “not supposed to be talking about at work,” according to the slides, which Fox obtained from a U.S. military official who took part in the training at the Pentagon.

The answer given by the Navy called BLM a “public policy issue” and gave the green light for advocating for the organization “as long as the behavior is otherwise lawful and the advocacy is not politically partisan in nature.”
“Advocating for or against a public policy issue (as here) is authorized as long as the behavior is otherwise lawful and the advocacy is not politically partisan in nature (e.g. it doesn’t specifically address a political party),” the slide reads. “If the discussions make you uncomfortable, discuss the matter with your boss or another supervisor.”
Black Lives Matter came on the scene more than four years ago. This racist group segregates and defines individuals based on color. It also is very violent accounting for numerous deaths:
But BLM is OK to push on Obama and Biden’s militaries. They are fine pushing racism and criminal violence? This is not America.

Elderly Asian Woman Attacked On New York Street... Security Guard Responds By Closing Door

TUESDAY, MAR 30, 2021 - 05:25 PM
Authored by Jonathan Turley,

New York City Police are searching for this man who attacked a 65-year-old Asian woman in broad daylight in Midtown on the sidewalk on West 43rd Street near Ninth Avenue.

In a press release, police say they are "asking for the public's assistance in identifying the following individual wanted in connection to a hate crime assault incident."

Police Commissioner Dermot Shea speaking on CNN affiliate NY1 Tuesday called this most recent attack "very disturbing."
"It's really disgusting when you see the video," he said.
"We're calling on all New Yorkers, anyone with information, we put out a pretty good picture of the, the individual that we want to talk to that was seen walking away, and you just try to make sense of it...and you can't," he said.
The New York Post reported that the suspect yelled anti-Asian statements while he beat the woman, including, “F**k you, you don’t belong here.”

The video below shows a man inside a building just a few feet away watching the attack. Like others, he does nothing.

One person who did act was a security guard who walks over and closes the door. Another man stops undoing packages to watch the entire attack without intervening.

The Post reports that the guard insisted that he was unaware of the attack. However, he could at a minimum clearly see the woman in distress on the ground.

[ZH: Spot the 'white supremacist' in the booking photos of the Asian hate-crime perpetrators...]

[ZH: As we previously highlighted, if you rely on The New York Times, the Democratic Party or CNN – they are interchangeable – for your perception of reality, you now believe America is reeling from the latest expression of white supremacy: Anti-Asian racism. The New York Times, the leader in mass hysterias fomented by the left – hysteria is the oxygen of the left – printed this headline last week: "Attacks on Asian-Americans in New York Stoke Fear, Anxiety and Anger." And the subhead reads: "Hate crimes involving Asian-American victims soared in New York City last year."

If one reads past the headline – which most people do not – the article gives the actual numbers: "The number of hate crimes with Asian-American victims reported to the New York Police Department jumped to 28 in 2020, from just three the previous year."

A report by the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism drew national media attention for identifying a 149% increase in anti-Asian hate crimes in 2020 compared to 2019 in 16 of our largest cities. A startling number -- until you learn the actual number of hate crimes in those cities rose from 49 to 122 in a country of 330 million people.

So, to cut through the gaslighting, here are the facts according to the most recent FBI crime data (2019):
  • White Americans make up 70% of the population and are cited for 52% of all hate crimes (nearly 20% below the percentage of the white population).
  • Black Americans are 13% of the population but are cited for 24% of all hate crimes (nearly double the percentage of the black population).
  • Black Americans are also cited for over 50% of all violent crime in the nation.
But, in what could be called "compound lying," the Times did blame "former President Donald J. Trump, who frequently used racist language to refer to the coronavirus."

Of course, the Times did not provide an example of Trump's racist language with regard to the coronavirus. One must assume that blaming the Chinese government for the virus or referring to the virus as the "China virus" or "Wuhan virus" is regarded as racist, even though virtually every prior epidemic was named after its city or region of origin: the "Spanish Flu," "Hong Kong Flu," "Ebola Virus," etc.

Meanwhile, the blanketing of the country with the Atlanta lie and the anti-Asian violence continues. The cover of this week's Time features a drawing of a young Asian woman under the headline: "We Are Not Silent: Confronting America's Legacy of Anti-Asian Violence."

We look forward to seeing what President Biden will do about this wave of African American violence against Asian Americans...

Populism Isn't Dead, It's Stunned

TUESDAY, MAR 30, 2021 - 04:20 PM
Authored by Tom Luongo via Gold, Goats, 'n Guns blog,

Today’s political landscape is looking more and more like the classic Monty Python ‘Dead Parrot’ sketch...

You know the one, John Cleese walks into the shop to complain about the parrot he’d just been sold was dead and he wants his money back. The shopkeeper, Michael Palin, insists it isn’t.
Hilarity ensues.

The Dead Parrot sketch is one of the high points of Python’s particular blend of absurdism and social commentary that transcends its time.

Everywhere I look I see Michael Palins doing their best to convince us of the most absurd lies to hide the rank incompetence at every level of our society’s power structure.

And it doesn’t matter what issue we’re discussing: masks, vaccines, election fraud, racism, Joe Biden’s health, climate change, the sovereign bond markets, lockdowns.

No matter the issue or the question Biden’s Press Secretary, the uniquely incompetent Jenn Psaki, will be happy to ‘circle back to that later’ but never doing so hoping to just get through the next news cycle without a revolt.

Everyone’s doing the ‘believe me’ look that body language experts talk about all the time. It’s all so tiresome and exhausting. And you can feel the level of frustration building like John Cleese’s anger in the sketch.

It even looks to me like the people in the media are getting fed up with having to disseminate the lies. But, since their access to power and livelihoods depend on playing along with the charade even the best ones act out on the stage prepared for them.

We all know they are lying. They know we know they are lying. We know they know that we know they are lying.

And yet the lying continues.

Worse than that, the dying continues.

Because that is the net outcome of all this lying, the wasted time and energy billions of people who eventually are asked to fight wars on behalf of these venal liars desperate to retain power and privilege.

The endless lying comes from the need to sell us on a future we don’t want for a price we can’t afford to pay. That the pols in D.C. think they can bribe us with a couple thousand bucks of stimmy money after they’ve destroyed our quality of life is the clearest sign ever that they are completely out of touch.

But what is clear as well is that they do not care. They don’t have to care because our government has openly morphed into the phone company from the old Lily Tomlin sketch of a few years after the Pythons’ heyday.

This absurd level of lying betrays the elites’ utter contempt for us. They’re obsessed with squashing all traces of the only truly four-letter word in Brussels and D.C. “populism.’

Populism is the bane of tyrants and comedy like the Dead Parrot sketch can no longer be tolerated in the coming brave new world where you’ll own nothing and like it… or else.

I can’t stress enough that this obsession with narrative control is equal parts terrifying and hilarious at the same time.

Terrifying because the real world consequences are destroyed businesses, suicidal children, bombed cities, starved local populations, sanctions, threats, embargoes and migrations.

Hilarious because these people are patently absurd. And we all know that comedy is, unfortunately, tragedy plus time.

Because if we don’t laugh at this just a little bit the only recourse is insanity and violence.

Who takes Dr. Anthony Fauci seriously anymore other than those putting on the mask of corporate shill to interview him?

When more than one-third of the people you interact with on social media are literal bots the level of surreality we deal with daily approaches that of the most incoherent Philip K. Dick novel of the 1960’s.

[leans into the camera, extreme close-up] “Believe me, I’ve read them all.” [end scene]
It all is a full-frontal assault on our senses, gluing us to tiny screens in a constant state of anxiety, noradrenaline-addicted doom-porn junkies begging for someone to just once, for pity’s sake, tell the freakin’ truth.

But it’s impossible to do so now without the entire operation collapsing into a chaotic mess. The financial system is rightly described by its free market critics as a Ponzi Scheme. But the real Ponzi Scheme is our faith in the efficacy of our elected officials and their handlers to keep all the lies spinning and the dying off the screens.

Those telling these lies are doing to out of fear.

They fear losing potency and power, the only thing psychopaths truly care about.

Worse, many of us still go along with the lies. We’ve believed them enough to have bought the dead parrot in the first place.

But once we get out from underneath the spell of the shopkeeper and see the parrot for what it is, that’s when things have to change. Because lies are expensive. The truth sells itself.

To date, we’ve tried bargaining with these liars’ humanity to just admit the parrot’s dead and give us a refund.

But they won’t do that. Their contempt for us knows no limits.

Theirs is a system of pelf and privilege the benefits of which accrue to them while sucking our time and energy from us daily, driving us to distraction at best and fits of unconstrained rage at worst.

Our frustration is rising. Protests against lockdowns in Europe are rising. Revolts against their vaccines are real. Now they’re trying to bribe us with Krispy Kreme donuts to take the jab while in Germany, the epicenter for the Great Reset, an even more brutal lockdown was just ordered and rescinded by the politically dead Angela Merkel.

French farmers are dumping cow manure on the steps of government.
1617146595563.png

View: https://twitter.com/i/status/1376408332240478208
.30 min

And that’s all they can do, keep raising the stakes of their lies, keep denying reality while trading on their command of the police hoping that making an example of some will keep the rising anger at bay.

They do this because like the shopkeeper they have nothing of value to offer us. Dead Parrots not live ones. They are incompetent, having managed society to the brink of collapse. When faced with that incompetence they deny it, suppress the truth and meet our decency with bullying while mistaking our passivity for compliance.

And while they may think we’ll just give up and start pining for the fjords, their lies will be the ones pushing up the daisies.

With critical race theory back in vogue, legal activists take counteroffensive to courts
"It's teaching our young students to hate one another," says public interest law attorney Kimberly Hermann about critical race theory

By Sophie Mann
Updated: March 30, 2021 - 9:16am

During the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, moderator Chris Wallace asked the then-president why he had signed an executive order ending "racial-sensitivity training" for federal agencies that addressed "white privilege and critical race theory."

Trump responded that he did so because the programs were "racist." He argued employees "were asked to do things that were absolutely insane" and "were teaching people to hate our country."

Biden jumped in to say, "Nobody's doing that."

On his first day in the Oval Office, President Biden rescinded the Trump order banning critical race theory (CRT) training programs for employees of the federal government. Once again, federal employees — at the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Election Commission, the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, the Department of the Treasury and elsewhere — are being placed in mandatory training sessions during which, for example, white employees are told to "sit in the discomfort" of the white supremacy they are complicit in "by automatic response to the ways we're taught."

Some employees have been taught about the "myth of meritocracy" in America and why the expression "color-blindness" is a racist microaggression. Trainers told employees at DHS that statements including "America is the land of opportunity," "everybody can succeed in this society, if they work hard enough," and "the most qualified person should get the job," are based in harmful racist stereotypes and will no longer be tolerated.

The curriculum is now rapidly spreading through American public education, with students across the nation being taught that "everything about our country and culture, our classes, our law, is based in white supremacy," according to Kimberly Hermann, general counsel at Southeastern Legal Foundation, a constitutional public interest law firm.

"It's teaching our young students to hate one another," said Hermann, whose organization has joined the Stop Critical Race Theory coalition, an alliance formed recently to fight the curriculum in the courts. "It sounds like it's extreme, but that's because it is,"

The coalition, which aims to "effectively abolish critical race theory programs from American life," is led by Discovery Institute researcher Christopher Rufo, who has studied the expansion of CRT throughout the U.S. government and school system.

Hermann and Rufo hope to elevate the issue of critical race theory all the way to the Supreme Court. Hermann explained that the legal team hopes to prevail in court on a First Amendment argument.

"We've got teachers in classes telling students if you do not affirm these statements and say that you are a racist, or say that you have white privilege, and what that means, then you will get a failing grade," Hermann told Just the News AM recently. "So we need the courts to affirm that that violates the Constitution."

According to one recent lawsuit, a student was instructed to "unlearn" the "basic Judeo-Christian principles [his mother] imparted to him" before being required to reveal his "racial, sexual, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities and religious identity" as part of an assignment — all for the sake of sorting him into various categories as either the "oppressed" or the "oppressor."

Especially for minority students, learning to sort themselves into the "oppressed" category will do great damage in the long term, Hermann argued.

"Everyone has fought for them, for decades, to not be in that place," she said. "They are not oppressed, they are not victims. They are strong, and they are smart, and they need to be able to speak their minds."

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently made headlines by banning CRT from his state's school curriculums.

Proponents of the critical race theory say it has the potential to sensitize institutions to the need for social justice and is being misconstrued. "CRT can be misunderstood and misapplied.

It has been distorted and attacked," an American Bar Association article said last fall. "And it continues to change and evolve. The hope in CRT is in its recognition that the same policies, structures, and scholarship that can function to disenfranchise and oppress so many also holds the potential to emancipate and empower many."

Critical race theory originated as an academic movement created by a group of civil-rights scholars and activists who sought to examine the law through the lens of race in America. The theory focuses on the idea that white supremacy exists and maintains power in American society through the law and various socio-cultural institutions.

But since its development in the late 1970s and 1980s, the theory has morphed into multiple sets of race-based school and work curriculums that are being force-fed to students from pre-school all the way through graduate studies programs, and to employees in both the private and public sectors.

CRT provides the basis for some work that has now been incorporated into high school classrooms across the country, including the New York Times' 1619 Project, which locates the institution of slavery at the center of America's historical narrative.

While promoting itself as a social justice initiative, critical race theory has become a big industry.

Howard Ross, for instance, is the consultant who created training that is used throughout many of the federal agencies. In the last 15 years, Ross has billed the government upwards of $5 million for his services instructing government employees in CRT training, according to information made public by Rufo.

Watch: Teacher Bullies Student For Taking Colorblind Approach To Classroom Assignment

By Chrissy Clark
Mar 29, 2021 DailyWire.com•

LEESBURG, VA- MARCH 12: Loudoun County schools were closed today out of an abundance of caution in connection with the Coronavirus fears on March 12, 2020. Students were given a window of time (1:00pm to 3:00pm) today to enter the school so they could retrieve belongings. This student, (L) Emory Huffman, heads toward the front door of the school to retrieve a sweater for his sister. He wanted to get into the band room to get his trombone but the band room door was locked at Loudoun County High School in Leesburg, Virginia.

Video footage shows a Virginia public school teacher bullying a student for saying he takes a colorblind approach to observing people.

A school teacher in Virginia’s Loudoun County Public School district — one of the wealthiest districts in the nation — was caught on tape telling a student that it is important to see racial differences when observing people.

For a class assignment, the teacher posted a photo of two females, one with white skin and red hair and another with black skin and black hair. Students were asked to observe what they saw in the picture.

One unnamed student responded by saying he saw “just two people chillin’.” The teacher called the student “intentionally coy” for not categorizing the women by their race.

Teacher: Tell me what this seems to be a picture of.
Student: It’s just two people chillin’.
Teacher: Right, just two people. Nothing more to that picture?
Student: Nah, not really. Just two people chillin’.
Teacher: I don’t believe that you believe that. I don’t believe that you look at this as just two people.
Student: It truly is just two people though, is it not?
Teacher: I think you’re being intentionally coy about what this is a picture of.
Student: What am I being coy about? It’s two people standing back-to-back in a picture.
Teacher: Yeah, and that’s all you see? Just two people?
Student: I’m confused on what you would like me to speak on.
Teacher: I don’t think you are. I don’t know why you do this. I’m not trying to call you out, but you … you act as if there’s nothing noticeable about this apart from the fact that there’s two people.
Student: Well I’m confused. Are you trying to get me to say that there are two different races in this picture?
Teacher: Yes, I am asking you to say that.
Student: Well, at the end of the day, wouldn’t that just be feeding into the problem of looking at race instead of just acknowledging them as two normal people?
Teacher: No, it’s not. Because you can’t not look at, you can’t look at the people and not acknowledge that there are racial differences.
Parents emailed the school board demanding they investigate why “Critical Race Theory,” the theory that teaches people that race is a social construct designed to oppress minorities, was being taught in the classroom.

In a Facebook post obtained by The Daily Wire, far-left school board member Beth Barts denied that the school was teaching Critical Race Theory to kids. In the same post, she admitted that students were learning about Critical Race Theory — among other theories — in the classroom.

“For the parents who emailed us about the slides from a high school class that they felt indicated LCPS is teaching Critical Race Theory and demanded we seek answers,” Barts said.

“The video (that has now made its way to social media) is an excerpt of a class discussion in a ‘Dual Enrollment College Level English course’ (note the college) in which students were exposed to different literacy theories as a way of critiquing different pieces of literature. CRT was an example of a theory that can be applied to literary criticism. Other theories such as structuralism, deconstructionism, and feminism were also shared.”

She concluded by claiming that “LCPS is not teaching CRT nor has our staff been trained in CRT.”

Barts is a controversial school board member who was previously disciplined by colleagues for politically-driven social media posts. She was part of a Facebook group called “Anti-Racist Parents of Loudoun County,” where she demanded that parents “call out statements and actions that undermine our stated plan to end systemic racism.”

The Daily Wire reported:
Barts also doxxed at least one parent off of Facebook, according to an email newly obtained by The Daily Wire. On March 13, Barts wrote to the Equity Committee for that purpose, while claiming that she was doing so not as an elected representative, but “as a parent … This is why I am using my personal email.”
The school district has also denied that it teaches students about Critical Race Theory, though it has adopted a “Culturally Responsive Framework” that mimics the teachings of Critical Race Theory.

“LCPS has not adopted Critical Race Theory as a framework for staff to adhere to … but does have a Culturally Responsive Framework,” Interim Superintendent Scott Ziegler said in a statement.

Schools Gone Woke: One America Educator Speaks Out

TUESDAY, MAR 30, 2021 - 07:25 PM
Authored by 'An American Educator' via The Critic,

In a warning to teachers around the world, one American teacher opens up about the invasion of woke orthodoxy in the education sector...

I am an American educator who began teaching nearly two decades ago. During that time, I have taught at some of the most prestigious private secondary schools in the United States. Starting about five years ago, these schools began to be consumed by woke ideology.

When I say “consumed by woke ideology” I mean that these schools are obsessed with sophomoric and divisive notions of diversity, equality, and justice; increasingly hostile to freedom of expression; addicted to cancelling anything that offends the woke movement; and prioritising activism over understanding as the goal of education.

I am writing this letter to alert those we may describe as “sleep-wokers”. A sleep-woker is one who has not taken the woke creed to heart, yet nevertheless tacitly complies with the linguistic, pedagogical, political, and moral imperatives of wokeness. Sleep-wokers go through the motions; they are like religious folk who say prayers without thinking, attend worship services without engaging, and perpetuate dogmas without believing. I was a sleep-woker. In some ways, due to a combination of timidity and tiredness, I still am.

Sleep-woking, like sleepwalking, is very dangerous. While sleep-woking, an English teacher can unwittingly help cancel Chaucer, Keats and Conrad in the name of decolonisation. A biology teacher might find herself obliged to deny important differences between the sexes. A football coach will not be able to cheer on a player after a strong tackle, as strength and physical violence smack of toxic masculinity.

Most of my sleep-woking colleagues are good people. Like me, they were lulled into complacency by a woke take-over that was slow and subtle. What’s more, some changes were initially promising and even corrective — of course we should pay more attention to marginalised voices and overlooked narratives, and I am glad that we now do. To bemoan an expanded curriculum is simple chauvinism. In the end, however, wokeness has proven to be oppressive and totalitarian rather than inclusive and liberating.

It is worth noting that I have been a supporter of the left for most of my life. The only political donation I have ever made went to a candidate in the most left-leaning wing of the most left-leaning party in American politics. My objection is to the effect of woke ideology on education, not to liberal politics. My grievance is that teachers are increasingly under pressure to adopt the woke agenda or be ostracised.

I empathise with the difficult situation that top school officials find themselves in. As wokeness takes over American culture, schools face enormous pressure to follow suit. That said, those with the power to stop the degradation of education have a special responsibility to do so, and those of us with less power have a responsibility to remind our superiors of their duty.

Here is some of what wokeness has wrought at top American schools:
Offence in is the Eye of the Offended
Schools openly preach that if one feels offended, one has been offended. For example, if a student or colleague claims to have been offended by your words or actions, it does not matter if you intended no offence. More troubling is the fact that it does not matter if your words and actions were not those that a rational person should find offensive — you are an offender merely by virtue of the fact that someone claims to have been offended.
Schools cannot yet codify this into an official policy. What the schools are starting to do, however, is to change the ethical norms associated with offence. Since legal norms follow ethical norms, if schools (and societies) succeed in changing the ethical norms of speech and offence, they will eventually have a basis upon which to change the legal norms. As soon as they can show that a normal or typical person is offended by certain language or certain ideas, they will be able to argue that a person presenting such language and ideas is failing to abide by the reasonable ethical expectations of school culture. In short, we are training students how to be offended so that their perceived offence can be used to eliminate anti-woke expression.
Elimination of Non-Woke Student Clubs
Any student group that resists woke orthodoxy is likely to be forcibly disbanded or prevented from forming. Student clubs cannot form without faculty sponsors. Since the vast majority of the faculty at these schools are woke (or too afraid to be seen as non-woke), conservative students have trouble officially meeting and inviting speakers. If a non-woke speaker is invited, the wokes mobilise to deny them a platform and they feel righteous for doing so. Few conservative students openly identify as such because they are afraid of repercussions from faculty and from other students. Not only is this unfair, but it is also dangerous. Alienated conservative students are being pushed away from moderate disagreement and towards political extremism.
No Resisting Woke Slogans
Opposing woke slogans or voicing contrary slogans is not tolerated. Since opposing wokeness is thought to be motivated by hate, voicing opposition to woke slogans is tantamount to hate speech. A student who challenges a woke slogan is bullied and harassed by the woke majority. Meanwhile, woke slogans and images are hung in school buildings and cannot be removed.
Cultural Appropriation
White or Western students are told not to participate in cultural traditions of non-white, non-Western people — the oppressors cannot participate in the culture of the oppressed. For example, several white students who wore shirts with African designs were reprimanded and forced to change their clothes. The fact that the shirts were a gift from their teacher, a black African man, made no difference. The students wore the shirts to show affection for their teacher and to honour his gift, but that was still cultural appropriation.

In another instance, a musician was reprimanded for blending a western and non-western musical style into a new artistic expression. The musician was accused of cultural imperialism.
Cancelling Curriculum
Shakespeare, Homer and other canonical authors are being eliminated from the curriculum. In some cases, schools and teachers boast about cancelling these patriarchal racists. Even at schools that do not officially cancel canonical Western texts, the texts are subtly replaced in the name of anti-racism.
Most of my students will go to university never having read Homer or Shakespeare, though they will have been required to read many texts and attend many lectures on intersectionality and gender identity. They can speak at length about toxic masculinity and a panoply of so-called phobias, but they would not recognise the terms “iambic pentameter” and “dactylic hexameter”, let alone recognise actual examples of the meter.
Normalising Fallacies
Ad hominem attacks are presented as the cornerstone of critical thinking rather than as a fallacious form of argumentation. We teach students to evaluate texts and arguments by primarily attending to the author’s race, gender, and sexuality.
Mandatory Training
Students attend mandatory training sessions in which experts teach them how to identify and report microaggressions. And since to a student with a hammer everything looks like a nail, the students begin informing on each other and on their teachers. White teachers are told to attend racial-political re-education workshops in which they strive to overcome their whiteness in the classroom. (It has long been accepted that “whiteness” is a meaningful category.)
If you claim to not be a racist, you are seen as the worst, most unredeemable kind of racist. You are a heretic who will not admit heresy. You are thought to be suffering from something called “white fragility”.
Trigger Warnings
Before introducing a new unit, teachers compile lists of trigger warnings for the material in that unit. A trigger warning serves to alert students to any and all things in the unit that could cause them stress, frustration, anger, or sadness. These lists are shared with students.
Manners and Dress Codes
A side-effect of the woke attack on tradition, authority, and hierarchy has been the revocation of dress codes. So long as their genitals are covered and no profane words are visible, students can and do wear anything they like. Arguably the only rule left in the dining halls and cafeterias is “Don’t throw food.”
Many students eat meals with headphones in their ears while watching videos on their phones. The less respectful students don’t bother with headphones. “Sir” and “Ma’am” have long since disappeared as too authoritarian and gendered. The terms “master” and “headmaster” cannot be used as master might connote slavery.
Elimination of Objective Assessments
Exams are being eliminated for two reasons: first, because exams are apparently inherently racist, sexist, classist, heteronormative, or otherwise unfair; second, because exams cause students stress, and stress makes students feel bad, and feeling bad negatively impacts their well-being. Additionally, some students do poorly on exams, and this has the potential to result in a situation that is inequitable.
Pronouns
Faculty are frequently pressured to identify their pronouns. Failure to identify one’s pronouns is seen as transphobic or cis-centric or both. Students can reassign their own pronouns at will. If a teacher mistakenly does not use the student’s preferred pronoun, the teacher is accused of misgendering. Misgendering a serious offence, even a kind of violence.
* * *
The unchecked advance of wokeness will do two things to your school.

  • First, you and your students will lose the ability to freely read, write and speak as pupils and teachers. Second, the education that you now provide will become unrecognisably impoverished.
  • This second effect is probably the hardest to believe, especially for those of you at top academic institutions, but it is the effect of which I am most certain. In place of free-thinking young scholars, you will begin turning out a generation of woke activists who believe that feelings matter more than facts, that perception is reality, and that it is more important to judge a text than to understand it — where “judging” means anachronistically interpreting the author’s words in light of the most recent woke orthodoxy.
Many of my students claim to be proud practitioners of social justice (don’t push them too hard on what that means) yet they have only an elementary command of grammar and geography, struggling to write complete sentences and unable to locate Turkey on a map. Some have begun to ask why we take math so seriously given that math is apparently grounded in Western patriarchal rationalism. Wokeness has been achieved at the expense of education. Reason has been subordinated to passion. Plato’s charioteer has been replaced by the horses he was meant to reign in.

Perhaps some of you are disturbed by some of the woke excesses at your schools and in your communities, even if, like me, you readily support appeals for greater diversity, genuine inclusion, and a multicultural curriculum. Perhaps your instinct has been to dismiss these excesses as isolated incidents. Like me, you might have said “The pendulum will swing back” or “That will never happen at my school.” I am writing to say that the pendulum will not swing back because the woke movement is not a pendulum; it is a steamroller.

I am not claiming any moral high ground. My own failure to push back in the right ways and at the right times makes me part of the problem. Nor am I here trying to convince anyone else to become bothered by the advance of woke culture into education. If what I am reporting does not bother you, ignore me. If wokeness has begun to concern you, however, you now have a glimpse of where your own school may be headed.

One of the canniest bits of woke linguistic manipulation has been appropriation of the term “woke” itself. To not be woke is to be asleep: unconscious or ignorant of what is really going on.

Either one is woke or one is not aware of reality. Or, as I was recently told by a student, if you are not woke, it must be because you are uneducated or hateful — or both.
Such is the woke reality.

FBI Deploys Creepy “Sentiment Analysis” Tools To Screen National Guard For Pro-Trump Sympathies

March 30, 2021 (14h ago)

2021.03.30-04.23-revolvernews-6062a7c5b6802.jpg

A recent Revolver News investigative piece coined the term “Counter-American Intelligence” to describe the systematic counter-intelligence operation to cleanse the entire national security state of any thought-criminal MAGA employees who may not agree with the Globalist American Empire’s agenda.

Like clockwork, fresh off the heels of a bill that would deny security clearances to so-called “conspiracy theorists” (read: Trump supporters), Senator Duckworth suggested that the DOD monitor the social media habits of its employees for “extremist views.”
Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) on Monday suggested that the Pentagon find a way to examine the social media habits of incoming and existing service members who show tendencies toward extremist views.
“It’s not a new thing, but I will tell you that I have seen over the last probably two decades this growing radicalization of a portion within the military. And I think part of it too comes with social media consumption,” Duckworth, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, said at The Hill’s Future of Defense Summit. [The Hill]
A bit of research reveals that would-be commissar Duckworth herself has no clue just how Orwellian the Globalist American Empire’s surveillance state has become. Indeed, for quite some time the FBI has had access to creepy “sentiment analysis” tools that it is likely using in its revolutionary post 1/6 effort to cleanse the defense sector of any MAGA sympathies.

In particular, the FBI uses the powerful “Babel Street” social media panopticon software. Such network surveillance tools allow citizens’ affiliations with online narratives or subcultures to be quickly assessed and databased at scale:
Along with bragging about the high-profile clients they have like the FBI, the military’s Special Operations Command, and the Australian Attorney General’s Office, they include a list of the exact capabilities, explaining the depth and efficacy of Babel Street’s software.
Babel X has access to over 25 social media sites, including Facebook, Instagram, and to Twitter’s firehose… Babel X can also surveil millions of URL’s including the deep web. The software can instantly translate over 200 languages, and can set up geo-fences around areas of special interest, and has highly customizable filtering options including for hashtags, emojis, handles, names, and keywords. Users can also filter for numerical sequences like credit card or social security numbers.

Babel Street’s filtering options are extremely precise, and allow for the user to screen for dates, times, data type, language, and—interestingly enough—sentiment. Their website includes a short paragraph on this sentiment aspect which claims that they “possess the most sophisticated sentiment analysis tool on the market. Derived from collaboration with top university linguistic programs, Babel Street boasts the ability to evaluate sentiment in 19 languages—far exceeding the capacity of any other competitor. [VICE]
Robust slang and vernacular dictionaries hone in on the unique idiosyncrasies of a cultural movement or belief system.

Did you ever amplify a dissident hashtag like #StopTheSteal? Have you ever added cognitive contraband like Pepe Hot Sauce to your Amazon wish list?

That’s how easy it would be to end up in an FBI “lead generator.”

And now, if Senator Duckworth and her allies in the Pentagon, Big Tech, FBI/CIA/DOJ and media get their way, your career in the military will be over before it begins.

The years old Vice story about FBI’s use of sentiment analysis software illuminates unanswered questions regarding the Agency’s methods in subjecting 25,000 National Guard troops to “ideological extremism” tests:
Twelve National Guard troops have been removed from duties related to the inauguration of President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr., two of them for possible links to right-wing extremist movements, Defense Department officials said on Tuesday.

The two made inappropriate comments or sent inappropriate texts, officials said.
Another group of 10 were flagged for reasons unrelated to recent events in the Capitol.

Officials declined to provide any details about the vetting that detected the Guard members, who are from different states.

The acting defense secretary, Christopher C. Miller, said on Sunday that the F.B.I. was assisting the U.S. military in vetting more than 25,000 National Guard troops being deployed to assist in protecting the Capitol and areas in central Washington for potential security concerns.

An Army spokesperson declined to provide any information on the two National Guard troops or the vetting procedures, citing operational security, and referred all questions to the U.S. Secret Service. [NYT]
In fact, sentiment analysis software like Babel Street likely represents only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to resources the FBI and security state has at its disposal. Readers may recall an earlier Revolver report on disgraced Obama General Stanley McChrystal’s involvement in a software company that deploys technology originally designed to combat ISIS against Trump supporters:
So, in General McChrystal we have a former General in Afghanistan involved in a firm deploying information warfare tools designed to fight ISIS against Trump supporters. In Jared Cohen, former Hillary State Department official turned Google’s “director of regime change,” we have a man deploying military grade AI censorship tools to police internet conversation, with politically predicable biases.

These two troubling cases must be understood within the context of the undeniable corruption of large swaths of America’s national security bureaucracy–from the CIA, to the FBI, to the DOJ, to other top military brass. Over the past four years we have seen how each institution has been corrupted and repurposed–not to advance American national security interests, but to suppress expressions of populism and nationalism domestically. Ironically, while the national security establishment likes to accuse its adversaries of using weapons “against their own people,” increasingly corrupt elements of the national security state are doing just that—repurposing our vast security apparatus to suppress political expression and activity at home.

Perhaps the most disturbing example of this is the recent claim by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security that “white supremacy” is the biggest national security threat. True white supremacy is virtually non-existent in the United States, and any efforts to “combat” white supremacy simply amount to code-language intended to justify the use of the security apparatus to intimidate and silence conservatives, populists, and nationalists. [Revolver]
In case you think the ISIS/MAGA comparison is far-fetched even for our utterly corrupt ruling class, consider the following of many possible examples:
Former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, Frank Figliuzzi, said in an interview on Sunday that he sees similarities to the violent rhetoric ISIS used with that the Republicans are using in wake of the 2020 election.
Figliuzzi explained that political polarization has turned the division into existentialist threats.
“What do terrorism experts tell us, Alex?” he continued. “When people think there is an existential threat to their being, what they believe, when they believe is that the other side is not just wrong, it is evil or from the devil — as Doug Collins in Georgia implied with Rev. Raphael Warnock who’s running for Senate. For the audacity of what? Being a pro-choice pastor? And Doug Collins said that is a lie from the pit of hell? When we hear rhetoric like this, it should wake all of us up.” [Raw Story]
FBI Special Agent for Counterintelligence Investigations Asha Rangappa:

1617165720714.png

ISIS-MAGA conflation has absolutely saturated the FBI’s senior-most ranks, and the entire intelligence apparatus and security state is prepared to act accordingly.

The traditional discipline of American counter-intelligence has thus morphed into what we have coined as Counter-American Intelligence.

Traditional counter-intelligence techniques, strategies, and mindsets are being re-purposed domestically, in order to cleanse the entire U.S. national security apparatus, including the DOD, of latent political sympathies — presumably as a precondition to rid the entire nation of said sympathies.

Today, the top target of this Counter-American Intelligence operation is President Trump’s MAGA movement.

If you thought the War on Terror was costly, disastrous, and unethical, wait until you get a load of the sequel — starring you and 74 million others like you as unwitting “domestic terrorists.”

Strap in. It’s only going to get crazier.

Republican AGs take blowtorch to Biden agenda

On everything from climate change to immigration and abortion rights, GOP attorneys general are leading the charge to dismantle White House policies.

Republican attorneys general are suing the Biden administration over the Keystone XL pipeline, and over its its immigration and climate policies. One is challenging the White House’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package. Others have raised the specter of a constitutional challenge to the voting rights bill H.R. 1.

And that’s just this month.

With their party out of power in the White House and Congress, the nation’s 26 Republican attorneys general have emerged as the weapons division of the GOP, reprising a role played by Democratic AGs during the Trump era. Just as Democratic AGs served as the vanguard of the blue-state resistance, Republican AGs are leading the charge to stymie President Joe Biden’s policy-making agenda.

“We’re standing up and fighting back,” said Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who is leading a coalition of states suing Biden over an executive order pertaining to the “social cost” of greenhouse gas emissions.

Republican attorneys general, said Schmitt, vice chair of the Republican Attorneys General Association, “play a very important role in checking a very aggressive administrative state that’s been unleashed.”

Only two months into Biden’s term, the breadth of challenges from Republican-led states to the president’s agenda is already expansive, touching on everything from tax policy to climate change and abortion. Five Republican attorneys general interjected themselves into his appointment process, urging Biden to withdraw his nominee for the No. 3 position at the Justice Department, Vanita Gupta.

And the litigation is likely just beginning, as Biden and the Democratic-controlled Congress unwind Trump-era policies and begin to implement their own.

It’s “the rise of the Republican AGs as a counterweight to the Biden administration’s overreach,” said Mark Weaver, a Republican strategist and former deputy attorney general of Ohio. “This is the natural tension and the balance of power, right? Leaders in government will use whatever levers of power are available to them to advance their policy goals. And state Republican attorneys general have the ability to bring lawsuits. And that’s what they’re doing.”

State attorneys general have traditionally assumed a more prominent position in Washington when a president of the other party is in power. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, when he was state attorney general, sued the Obama administration so frequently that he said in 2013, “I go into the office in the morning. I sue Barack Obama, and then I go home.

Years later, Democrats returned the favor. Former California Attorney General — and newly confirmed Health and Human Services Secretary — Xavier Becerra alone filed no fewer than 100 lawsuits against the Trump administration on issues ranging from health care and immigration to climate change and gun control.

The challenges Republicans are now mounting against Biden represent “the other side of the coin from the Democrats bringing literally hundreds of lawsuits against the Trump administration, which in turn built on a trend” of Republicans suing Obama, said Rob McKenna, the former Republican attorney general of Washington and former president of the National Association of Attorneys General.

He said one reason for the proliferation of such litigation is that successive administrations are relying increasingly on the use of executive orders, “so they leave themselves open to legal challenges” about the extent of executive power.

“On the political side,” McKenna said, “the base of each party, Democratic and Republican, expects their attorney general to step up and fight for issues that the base believes in. … There’s a higher expectation now that the AGs are going to be active, and if you don’t step up, you’re likely to come under fire from people in your own party.”

That was more obvious than ever in the aftermath of the November election. Following then-President Donald Trump’s defeat, it was Texas’ embattled attorney general, Ken Paxton, who led a failed effort by Republican-led states to overturn the election in several battleground states — though not his own. The attorney general of Utah, Sean Reyes, crossed state borders to advance Trump's baseless claims of voter fraud in Nevada. And an arm of the Republican Attorneys General Association sent robocalls encouraging people to attend the “Stop the Steal” rally at the Capitol on Jan. 6. RAGA officials distanced themselves from the call and condemned the ensuing riot.

At least one Republican state attorney general who declined to join the effort to overturn the election, Idaho’s Lawrence Wasden, has faced recriminations in his home state, with Republican lawmakers there attempting to curb his power.

To Democrats, the involvement of Republican attorneys general in the election’s aftermath was something more pernicious than typical partisan warfare. Rather, it was “something that we just haven’t seen before,” said Maura Healey, the Massachusetts attorney general and co-chair of the Democratic Attorneys General Association.

“There can be fights,” said Healey, who was a leader of the Democratic attorneys general's resistance to Trump. “There can be challenges to figuring out the scope or the extent of federal authority over a state, for example, right? And there may be a Republican philosophy around that and a Democratic philosophy around that. So, we’re used to those battles, OK? But this is something different.”

Now, she said, “Unfortunately, it seems … that there are certain Republican AGs who seem hell-bent on trying to stop the Biden and Harris administration from moving forward, and I think it’s unfortunate.”

Alabama’s Republican attorney general, Steve Marshall, said the extent of Republicans’ legal challenges against Biden will depend on how aggressive his administration is, largely around executive actions. But GOP attorneys general will not only be attempting to block elements of Biden’s agenda, he said. They will also be seeking to preserve Trump-era policies that Democrats sued to undo — and that Republican attorneys general will now intervene in an effort to preserve.

How much litigation Republicans ultimately file, Marshall said, “really depends on how aggressive this administration wants to get in pushing the envelope relating to the separation of powers” and executive authority.

McKenna, like other attorneys general and former attorneys general of both parties, noted that attorneys general continue to work across the aisle on significant issues such as consumer protection, big tech and the opioid epidemic. Jim Hood, the former Democratic attorney general of Mississippi and a former president of the National Association of Attorneys General, said on those types of issues, “we have traditionally reached across party lines, still do to this day, and will in the future.”

Iowa’s Tom Miller, a Democrat and the nation’s longest serving attorney general, agreed. He said the Republicans’ more partisan filings amount to “quite a few lawsuits in a short time.” But he said it “remains to be seen” if the GOP’s overall efforts will become more expansive than his own party’s were during the Trump era.

It’s also not clear how significant a problem the Republican attorneys general will be for Biden, he said.

Miller, who endorsed Biden ahead of the Iowa caucuses last year, said Biden is assembling an “incredible” Justice Department with Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Of the Republican lawsuits, Miller said, “He’s going to be well represented in court. So, yeah, as president he has a lot bigger concerns than that.”

Biden and Obama Work to Make America Into a Third World Sh**Hole

By Joe Hoft
Published March 31, 2021 at 7:50am
Brazil-poverty2.jpg

Guest post by Ezequiel Doiny

If Biden’s policy continues America is going to look more and more like Brazil with poor semi-naked children living in the streets, shanty towns, and a middle class that hides in closed neighborhoods with double fences and security guards.

Biden is bringing misery and fear to America, he is also sacrificing the American poor who will lose their jobs to cheaper undocumented migrant workers. Biden is helping the poor in Honduras at the expense of the American poor. If you think there is violence in America now, it is going to become much worse, crimes like “express kidnapping” may be coming to America.
On March 30, 2021, Newsmax reported:
Several hundred Hondurans set off on Tuesday for the Guatemalan border, seeking to reach the United States…”
On March 30, 2021, Newsmax reported:
A top U.S. border official said on Tuesday he expects more than a million migrants will arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border this year, a sign of a growing humanitarian challenge for President Joe Biden on the southwest border…”
On March 24, 2021, Jim Clifton Gallup’s CEO published in news.gallup.com:
42 million — said they want to go to the United States.”
By allowing millions of poor people to migrate into the US, Biden is replicating the conditions that led to social disasters in Latin America. Take for example Brazil. In Brazil, the North and Northeast are poor while the Southeast, the location of cities like Sao Paulo and Rio, is more economically developed.

Because of the economic differences between the two regions masses of poor people from the poor Brazilian North migrate to the Southeast looking for jobs and a better income. When they arrive, because they don’t have a place to live, many end up squatting on private or public land or living in illegal residences in shantytowns or in the streets.

Many shantytowns have no basic infrastructure like running water, sewage, or electricity, and some are controlled by drug cartels. In Rio, many of the green areas in the city that were originally designed to remain green to keep the city beautiful were squatted, turned into shantytowns, and are now controlled by drug cartels where the police are afraid to enter. In both Sao Paulo and Rio it is common to see semi-naked children living in the streets abandoned by their parents who cannot afford to care for them asking for a coin or a piece of bread.

Brazil-poverty.jpg

Because so many people live in misery there is violence, there is always violence in countries where there is a wide gap between the middle class and the poor between those who are lucky to have an education and jobs and those who have nothing.

Where there is a wide gap between the middle class and the poor there is social tension, crime, and fear. Not all poor migrants end up becoming criminals, most actually are honest people who end up getting low-paying jobs, but some, unfortunately, end up making bad decisions and as a result, the overall crime rate raises.

The middle class in Brazil (and most other Latin American countries) live in fear, their houses have fences (sometimes double fences with barbed or electric wire), armed security, closed neighborhoods, guard dogs, etc). Ask anyone in the middle class in those countries and they know stories of violence that happened to themselves, their families, and friends. Life is tense and violent both for the middle class and the poor, some people get shot for a cell phone, some for even less.

Where are those 42 million poor migrants live when they arrive in America, are they going to build shantytowns as they do in Brazil? Where are they going to work? If the supply of cheap undocumented and uneducated labor increases they would certainly accept lower wages taking jobs from Americans. Biden’s immigration policy will sacrifice the poor in America to help the poor in Honduras, replicating the conditions existing in Brazil, bringing abandoned street children to the streets of NY, squatting land, and building shanty towns in public parks (possibly even in NY Central Park).

The movies “City of God” and “Pixote” realistically depict the lives of poor children living in violence in the streets of Brazil, these scenes could be coming to America soon.

Parents Personally Targeted By School Board Members After Opposing ‘Critical Race Theory’ Curriculum.

A private parents’ “education-reform group” (Loudoun Parents for Education) from Loudoun County, Virginia, has said its members are being targeted for their opposition to the introduction of “critical race theory” in school curricula.

Ian Prior, a spokesman for the group, told WTOP News: “There was a solicitation by one of the members of this group to target people that had opposed the school’s commitment to critical race theory concepts.”

Loudoun parent Austin Levine testified on March 23 at a school meeting, telling the board, “I am on a list — not Santa’s list — but a list of enemies created by a group led by the marching orders of one of your colleagues. This list included names, places of work, where they lived and their perceived wrongs.”

Levine explained that personal information of parents who opposed the implementation of race theory into school curriculum was being shared by a group of “over 600 members” calling themselves “anti-racist parents of Loudoun County.”

Six out of nine school board members in Loudoun are part of this “anti-racist” group.
Levine testified further that school board member Beth Barts “orchestrated the attacks,” the New York Post reports. Prior said that the Loudoun Parents for Education are making an effort to have the board members involved in the attacks recalled from their positions.

Loudoun County Public Schools Interim Superintendent Scott Ziegler told WTOP News that the school district “has not adopted the critical race theory” into its curriculum. Ziegler said, “Social media rumors that staff members have been disciplined or fired for not adhering to the tenants of critical race theory or for refusing to teach this theory are not true,” and added that he does not believe people should be targeted for having “differing opinions.” Ziegler then stated he wants to make sure that “every student, employee and member of the community is treated in an equitable, respectful manner.”

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating Facebook posts from the “anti-racist parents of Loudoun County” to determine if any crimes were committed.

Novel thought: Clouthub founder says ‘freedom of thought’ must be protected

There was a time when Big Tech seemed to adhere to the concepts of freedom of speech and freedom of thought. We were fools to believe they were sincere.

Novel thought_ Clouthub founder says 'freedom of thought' must be protected

The “purge” by Big Tech of conservative and Christian voices has been well-documented over the past three months, but it’s not a new issue. It hit mainstream when President Trump’s Twitter and Facebook accounts were banned, but this has been going on to a lesser degree for years. That’s why sites like Gab, Parler, and Clouthub were formed. They have become three of the primary “freer speech” alternatives, especially for those who have been stifled by Big Tech.

Jeff Brain, founder of Clouthub.com, appeared on the One America News show “The Real Story” to discuss how Big Tech is now targeting religion and why we need to expand all-inclusive platforms. He noted that there have been all of these hearings on Capitol Hill, but very little seems to ever come out of it.

“Well, we have been watching these hearings for years and unfortunately we haven’t seen any action taken,” Brain said. “It is time to take action. Whether it’s the invasion of our privacy, the silencing of our voices, or even the issue of mental health… it’s time for them to stop the talk and start to take action.”
The focus has been on suppressing conservative thoughts, but there is a real push going on right now to stop the spread of religious views as well, particularly the Judeo-Christian worldviews. This isn’t just about Big Tech being “woke.” There’s an underlying agenda at play that few seem to recognize.

We can all see the censorship. We see who is getting targeted (conservatives and Christians) and who is given a pass. But we can’t mark this down as Big Tech being “woke.” There’s a bigger agenda at play.

The 10 Radical New Rules That Are Changing America

THURSDAY, APR 01, 2021 - 05:00 PM
Authored by Victor Davis Hanson via The Epoch Times,

There are 10 new ideas that are changing America, maybe permanently.
1) Money is a construct.
It can be created from thin air. Annual deficits and aggregate national debt no longer matter much.
Prior presidents ran up huge annual deficits, but at least there were some concessions that the money was real and had to be paid back.
Not now. As we near $30 trillion in national debt and 110 percent of annual GDP, our elites either believe permanent zero interest rates make the cascading obligation irrelevant, or the larger the debt, the more likely we will be forced to address needed income redistribution.

2) Laws are not necessarily binding anymore.
Joe Biden took an oath to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” But he has willfully rendered federal immigration laws null and void. Some rioters are prosecuted for violating federal laws, others not so much. Arrests, prosecutions, and trials are all fluid. Ideology governs when a law is still considered a law.
Crime rates do not necessarily matter. If someone is carjacked, assaulted, or shot, it can be understood to be as much the victim’s fault as the perpetrator’s. Either the victim was too lax, uncaring, and insensitive, or he provoked his attacker. How useful the crime is to the larger agendas of the left determines whether a victim is really a victim, and the victimizer really a victimizer.
3) Racialism is now acceptable.
We are defined first by our ethnicity or religion, and only secondarily—if at all—by an American commonality. The explicit exclusion of whites from college dorms, safe spaces, and federal aid programs is now noncontroversial. It is unspoken payback for perceived past sins, or a type of “good” racism. Falsely being called a racist makes one more guilty than falsely calling someone else a racist.
4) The immigrant is mostly preferable to the citizen.
The newcomer, unlike the host, is not stained by the sins of America’s founding and history. Most citizens currently must follow quarantine rules and social distancing, stay out of school and obey all the laws.
Yet those entering the United States illegally need not follow such apparently superfluous COVID-19 rules. Their children should be immediately schooled without worry of quarantine. Immigrants need not worry about their illegal entry or residence in America. Our elites believe illegal entrants more closely resemble the “founders” than do legal citizens, about half of whom they consider irredeemable.
5) Most Americans should be treated as we would treat little children.
They cannot be asked to provide an ID to vote. “Noble lies” by our elites about COVID-19 rules are necessary to protect “Neanderthals” from themselves.

Americans deserve relief from the stress of grades, standardized testing, and normative rules of school behavior. They still are clueless about why it is good for them to pay far more for their gasoline, heating, and air conditioning.
6) Hypocrisy is passé.
Virtue-signaling is alive. Climate change activists fly on private jets. Social justice warriors live in gated communities. Multibillionaire elitists pose as victims of sexism, racism, and homophobia. The elite need these exemptions to help the helpless. It is what you say to lesser others about how to live, not how you yourself live, that matters.
7) Ignoring or perpetuating homelessness is preferable to ending it.
It is more humane to let thousands of homeless people live, eat, defecate, and use drugs on public streets and sidewalks than it is to green-light affordable housing, mandate hospitalization for the mentally ill, and create sufficient public shelter areas.
8) McCarthyism is good.
Destroying lives and careers for incorrect thoughts saves more lives and careers. Cancel culture and the Twitter Reign of Terror provide needed deterrence.

Now that Americans know they are one wrong word, act, or look away from losing their livelihoods, they are more careful and will behave in a more enlightened fashion. The social media guillotine is the humane, scientific tool of the woke.
9) Ignorance is preferable to knowledge.
Neither statue-toppling, nor name-changing, nor the 1619 Project require any evidence or historical knowledge. Heroes of the past were simple constructs. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees reflect credentials, not knowledge. The brand, not what created it, is all that matters.
10) Wokeness is the new religion, growing faster and larger than Christianity.
Its priesthood outnumbers the clergy and exercises far more power. Silicon Valley is the new Vatican, and Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter are the new gospels.
Americans privately fear these rules, while publicly appearing to accept them. They still could be transitory and invite a reaction. Or they are already near-permanent and institutionalized.

The answer determines whether a constitutional republic continues as once envisioned, or warps into something never imagined by those who created it.

Seminary Prof: Post Calling Evangelical Christianity ‘Greatest Threat to Human Existence’ Was ‘Taken Out of Context’

A professor of Theology and Baptist Studies at Duke University Divinity School says that a social media post in which he called evangelical Christianity “the greatest threat to human existence” was “taken out of context.”

“Worse. Evangelical Christianity is the greatest threat to human existence today. It must be laid waste,” wrote Duke Divinity professor Curtis Freeman in a now-deleted tweet.

The professor was responding to another user on Twitter.

Freeman told Breitbart News that his tweet was “a hyperbolic statement referring to the extreme, militant, and radical expression of Christianity that led to the Jan 6 storming of the US Capitol.”

“But it was taken out of context,” the professor added. “It refers to the need for evangelical churches to counter this extreme and violent ideology through teaching and correction.”

While Freeman deleted the tweet, the professor later took to social media to explain why he is “concerned” about “white American evangelical culture,” which he claims is fundamentally rooted in the belief that “black lives don’t matter,” among other things.

“Thx for calling out my excessive rhetoric. Let me try to be more clear,” Freeman tweeted. “I am concerned about the white American evangelical culture that is focused on 5 fundamentals: guns are good, vaccines are bad, science is bunk, news is fake, & black lives don’t matter. These are dangerous.”

In another follow-up tweet, Freeman doubled down on his previously deleted tweet, writing again that evangelical Christianity is a “threat to human existence.”

“I am not an evangelical Christian. I follow Jesus Christ. I affirm life. I accept science. I am not a know nothing,” Freeman tweeted. “Evangelical Christianity is a threat to human existence. The treat[sic] to human survival is @ericmetaxas.”

Freeman apparently believes conservative author and radio host Eric Metaxas is a danger to humanity.

Freeman is a research professor of theology, and Baptist studies, as well as the director of the Baptist House of Studies at Duke University Divinity School, according to the seminary’s website.

Exclusive — Kevin McCarthy Slams Establishment Media-Pushed Journalism Act: ‘Antithesis of Conservatism’

MATTHEW BOYLE1 Apr 2021Washington, DC35

House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy on Thursday slammed a bill from Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) that would empower establishment media organizations and help them destroy competition under the guise of appearing tough on Silicon Valley tech giants.

The bill, called the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA), would create a special legal exemption for media companies to allow them to band together in a way that would otherwise be illegal under antitrust law to collectively bargain with big tech companies. Ostensibly, per backers of the legislation, this exemption would empower media companies against big tech companies, but deep concerns that Breitbart News has documented have been exposed with the system it would create that essentially allows the creation of establishment media cartels that would hurt new media companies.

In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, McCarthy urged Republicans to oppose the legislation because it would serve as a handout to establishment media companies from Democrats in Congress and squeeze out new media and upstart companies.

“Attempts by big media and Democrats in Congress to collude and monopolize economic models poses a tremendous threat to free speech and a free press,” McCarthy told Breitbart News. “Never before has the opportunity been as open for startup news outlets as it is today. Americans now have more choices to get information and make decisions for their communities and elected leaders. That makes Democracy stronger and creates a whole new class of entrepreneurs that will also drive job growth. As we have seen in other industries, disrupters make legacy players uneasy and those legacy players are often willing to do whatever it takes to hold onto their market share and power. This is the antithesis of conservatism and House conservatives will fight for an open and free market — especially one that advances free speech and a free press.”

McCarthy’s statement comes as he is riding high off a win in Iowa for House Republicans this week. On Wednesday, the House Minority Leader traveled to the Hawkeye State to highlight House Democrat efforts to overturn the certified election win of Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) and use the House Administration Committee—at the direction of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi—to overturn the state’s certified election results. Moments after McCarthy publicly appeared alongside Miller-Meeks and Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) to expose the plot from Democrat Rita Hart and her companions Pelosi and House Administration Committee chair Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Hart withdrew her request to have the certified election overturned and formally finally conceded the election—months later—to Miller-Meeks.

McCarthy takes that momentum now back to Washington to fight core elements of the Democrat agenda, on everything from the border crisis to President Joe Biden’s “infrastructure” plan to the Democrats’ efforts to use government to empower establishment media. That’s why this strong opposition from McCarthy to Cicilline’s legislation puts a serious damper on big media companies’ lobbying efforts to get Republicans on board with the bill. Cicilline, who served as one of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment managers against now former President Donald Trump in Trump’s second impeachment trial, had won the support of a handful of GOP members on his legislation, including notably from Reps. Ken Buck (R-CO), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Greg Steube (R-FL), Burgess Owens (R-UT), and Victoria Spartz (R-IN). Buck is the lead GOP sponsor of the legislation in the House.

Lobbyists for a consortium known as the News Media Alliance have been frantically calling around to conservative lawmakers trying to pressure them into supporting the legislation. The way they frame it as somehow a check on big tech giants like Google, Facebook, and Twitter—companies that Republicans have serious and legitimate concerns about. These big media lobbyists may have had some initial success in wooing a handful of Republicans on board, as those five House Republicans are joined by the lead GOP Senate sponsor, Sen. John Kennedy (R-AL), who introduced a Senate companion version of the bill with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN). Cicilline, according to Axios, had been framing it as a way to narrowly channel opposition to big tech to win bipartisan support and make it through Congress. But that initial momentum for this bill is now hitting a brick wall of opposition, and McCarthy’s firm disapproval of the legislation is a signal to the rest of the House GOP conference that supporting this is an abandonment of conservative principles.

McCarthy’s opposition to the legislation comes after House Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) expressed opposition during a Judiciary Committee subcommittee on antitrust hearing on the bill a few weeks ago. Jordan expressed concerns during that hearing about giving so much power to establishment media, supposedly in an a response to big tech’s amassed power. He said he is concerned the amalgamation of two groups of powerful entities—big media and big tech—could prove disastrous. Jordan said:
We’ve already seen them team up against we the people and now we have legislation that’s going to give Big Media this consortium and cartel power. The same time we’re looking to use antitrust law to deal with Big Tech, we’re going to give an antitrust exemption to Big Media. Maybe that’s the right course, but I got real questions about that.
During that same hearing, Gaetz expressed concerns about the bill he previously co-sponsored upon learning more about the issues behind it. The Florida firebrand—who now just weeks later faces allegations of impropriety from some of the same big media companies this bill would empower—even commented that he may withdraw his cosponsorship because of those concerns, something he has not yet done.

Meanwhile, more and more conservative movement opposition to this legislation is building. Ken Blackwell, a senior fellow at the Family Research Council (FRC) and a conservative movement fixture who previously served as Ohio’s State Treasurer and Secretary of State, wrote a definitive piece excoriating the bill as a “bait and switch to strangle conservative outlets” for American Thinker a week or so ago:
The Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JPCA) is a bait-and-switch attempt that claims to help conservative news sources but would instead purge them from the marketplace of ideas. Congress should reject it for the freedom-killer it is. JCPA would give media companies — broadcast and print — an exemption from federal antitrust laws, so they can operate in a coordinated fashion to negotiate prices that social media companies like Facebook would have to pay them to carry their content. It would ensure that these tech billionaires would have to direct some of their riches into content providers.
The alignment of McCarthy and Jordan against the bill, though, seems to severely dampen any prospects of it passing easily out of the House. Sure, Democrats can still ram it through on party lines—or even with a handful of the GOP members who cosponsored it supporting it—but the key to getting through a Senate filibuster that requires a 60-vote threshold be met is that Democrats would need strong GOP support in the House for this legislation. Now, that appears unlikely as the two major power centers of the House GOP conference—McCarthy and Jordan—have aligned against the bill, expressing firm opposition to it.

So, while Kennedy is on board in the Senate, at least for now, it appears as though, if the Democrats pursue this legislation from a big-picture perspective, they may only get a handful of House Republicans to vote for it. That does not bode well for Democrat chances of passage of the bill in the Senate in terms of convincing at least 10 Senate Republicans to support it, meaning that Democrats may be inclined to spend their time in both chambers—the House and Senate—on things that have a better chance of making it through easily than something that is becoming as clearly contentious as this legislation is.

Chairman Allen West’s Statement on Critical Race Theory
POSTED 3.30.2021 - by RPT Staff

Logo of the Republican Party of Texas

Austin, TX, Release: March 30, 2021 For Immediate Release

The Texas GOP stands firmly against any attempts by leftists to implement Critical Race Theory into the Texas school system. This ideology is at war not just with individuality and the free market but with the very foundational principles of our Republic. We cannot allow the poison of that ideology to be promoted in Texas schools.

Below, our Chairman Allen West lays out what is on the line and what the Texas GOP is doing to fight this collectivist and racist philosophy. Chairman West’s statement:

“The purpose of education is to prepare our children to be critical thinkers and productive members of our society by providing them with tools for success. It should not be the goal of our educational system to become a center for indoctrination. However, that is exactly what Critical Race Theory is all about.

When reading the
Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, you find that one of the tenets of Marxism is State control of education. For Marx it was all about fomenting class division and warfare. Critical Race Theory introduces race to this strategy. Marxism was focused on the destruction of the individual, and advancing the idea of collectivism. Critical Race Theory does exactly that. It redefines us based upon race rather than our individuality. It declares that America is, always has been, and always will be a racist country. It erodes the fundamental premise of America, namely, equality of opportunity, and replaces it with equity, to be achieved by equality of outcomes.

The Texas legislative session is facing this onslaught with several of legislation that advances Critical Race Theory from a progressive socialist standpoint. They are HB 57, HB 3211, SB 229, and SB 1740. These pieces of legislation speak to “project-based civics, “a euphemism for giving kids class credit for participating in left-wing protests.

As well, there is this concept of “civics academies,” which does nothing more than open the doors to left-wing activism among our children. Vladimir Lenin once asserted, “give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the whole world” and “give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”

The Texas GOP supports SB 2026 and HB 4509, the Informed Patriotism Bill, requiring that Texas civics classes focus on founding documents, Lincoln-Douglas debates, and the Federalist Papers . . . not leftist ideological indoctrination.

Critical Race Theory has no place in Texas. But, we must be vigilant and resolute to ensure that does not happen. This is what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has pledged. So we must as well, in the Lone Star State.”

The Republican Party of Texas will not allow Texas public schools to devolve into left-wing propaganda mills. We must defend our children from this vile ideology.

Conservatives Mobilize to Break the Stranglehold of Woke Capital

On Wednesday, a new conservative coalition launched a website aimed at combatting “woke” capital and cancel culture. StopCorporateTyranny.org aims to educate Americans on the dangers of far-Left advocacy in corporate America and equip them to fight back against the swelling tide of the “woke” inquisition. The coalition, Back to Neutral, includes organizations and leaders fed up with the Left weaponizing big business to achieve its political goals.

“We’ve watched with growing concern the Left’s efforts to infiltrate corporate boardrooms and use that power to force their agenda on Americans everywhere,” Justin Danhof, general counsel at the National Center for Public Policy Research, said in a statement on the launch. “We are drawing a line. It’s time to hold corporate America accountable for canceling conservatives. We seek to restore a healthy understanding of, and respect for, liberty, free enterprise, and American culture, all of which is being corrupted by corporate oligarchs.”

From Disney’s double standard in firing Gina Carano to Amazon’s shameful reliance on the Southern Poverty Law Center, it seems corporations are bowing to the radical Left’s orthodoxy with abandon. In fact, a large coalition has already gathered to boycott Georgia over its voter integrity bill.

“Whether under the guise of ‘ESG’ (environmental, social and governance), ‘wokeness’ or ‘stakeholder capitalism,’ make no mistake, all these terms are just cover for liberals weaponizing big business to achieve their radical, political goals,” Steve Soukup, author of the new book The Dictatorship of Woke Capital: How Political Correctness Captured Big Business, said in a statement on the website launch.

Back to Neutral will use grassroots activism, media outreach, and social media advertising to pressure corporations to stop engaging in activities that undermine Freedom enterprise, individual liberty, limited government, free speech, and the rule of law. The coalition’s press release declared that “Corporate leaders must instead return to their proper role as stewards for their investors by providing the best possible products and services in the marketplace for their customers.”

“Corporations shouldn’t be bowing to politically correct factions for perceived short-term public relations gains at the expense of their customer base and shareholders,” Back to Neutral insisted.

I have long covered these important issues and I am honored to be a part of this coalition and the new website as a member of the Speakers Bureau.

StopCorporateTyranny.org will help push back against the corrupt smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center, which I exposed in my book Making Hate Pay.

The bureau also includes Retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (executive vice president at the Family Research Council), the Capital Research Center’s Kristen Eastlick, the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Richard Morrison, Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Jeremy Tedesco, and the Capital Research Center’s Scott Walter.

I look forward to working with this team to combat the nefarious impact of woke capital.

The Culture Wars Are Escalating, and Republicans Can Stop Being Cowards or Go Home

By Bonchie | Apr 01, 2021 1:15 PM ET

Earlier today, I wrote on Delta Airlines going full woke over Georgia’s election reform bill. Despite the facts showing that the bill expands early voting and doesn’t place any excessive burdens on minority voters, the CEO of the major airline decided to tap-dance for the left. He was joined by other major corporations like Coca-Cola and Microsoft.

Now, Major League Baseball is joining the fray by threatening to move their all-star game out of Atlanta. Joe Biden offered his support, saying he would “strongly support” the move. RedState covered that story here.

What we are seeing is a rapid escalation in the culture wars, and that’s making a lot of Republicans squeamish due to the normally cozy relationship between the GOP and big business. An abusive system has been set up whereby Republican politicians bend the knee and hand huge corporations tax breaks and incentives while they turn around and spit in the face of Republican voters by pushing woke nonsense like critical race theory.

The old mindset is as follows.

Let me translate that for you — “hey, big corporation, please abuse me while I shovel taxpayer money in your direction to make sure you are comfortable!”

That dog isn’t going hunt anymore, nor should it. GOP voters aren’t going to tolerate these massive corporations going woke while at the same time demanding subsidization via tax breaks and other incentives. If Coca-Cola wants to appease the left, they can go incorporate in New York and see how those tax rates suit them.

Ellie Bufkin of Sinclair Broadcast Group posted this morning, these corporations are pushing the envelope to see just how much power they have. Republicans can choose not to give it to them.

That’s exactly right. Any Republican who is still sniffing the hindquarters of the Chamber of Commerce and refusing to call out illiberalism from giant corporations might as well not even bother running. Those days are over, and they aren’t coming back.

And honestly, that’s a very good thing. The relationship between the GOP and big business was far too one-sided. Republicans have constantly run to the defense of corporations that send most of their political dollars to Democrats.

They’ve defended Wall Street’s malfeasance and excesses while Wall Street stumped for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. These entities have calculated that they can support the left while garnering the economic benefits afforded to them from the right. That’s a deal that shouldn’t be offered to them anymore.

You can be a free market capitalist without supporting cronyism, and that’s what much of our current big business community boils down to these days. They lobby and push through laws to benefit themselves while small businesses are crushed. It’s long past time for Republicans to cut the cord with a demand for some mutual respect. That doesn’t mean being rich is bad or that success should be punished, but it does mean you don’t owe a defense to Amazon while they are pushing a $15 minimum wage knowing it’ll crush their competition. You don’t owe Delta Airlines fuel tax breaks while they run to the liberal press to slam your state.

The culture wars aren’t stopping, and it’s time for Republicans to stop being cowards and face this head-on.

FEDERAL-STATE RELATIONS
Republican States Push Back Against Critical Race Theory

March 31, 2021 15:03, Last Updated: March 31, 2021 18:27
By Petr Svab

Republicans in at least seven states have introduced proposals that would ban the teaching concepts of the quasi-Marxist critical race theory (CRT). The measures range from banning government agencies from conducting training based on the theory to prohibiting the incorporation of the concepts into school curricula.

The efforts follow President Joe Biden’s reversal of last year’s executive order by President Donald Trump that banned federal agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and grantees from instructing their employees to follow CRT tenets.

CRT has gradually proliferated in recent decades through academia, government structures, school systems, and the corporate world. It redefines human history as a struggle between the “oppressors” (white people) and the “oppressed” (everybody else), similarly to Marxism’s reduction of history to a struggle between the “bourgeois” and the “proletariat.” It labels institutions that emerged in majority-white societies as racist and “white supremacist.”

Like Marxism, it advocates for the destruction of institutions, such as the Western justice system, free-market economy, and orthodox religions, while demanding that they be replaced with institutions compliant with the CRT ideology.

Proponents of CRT have argued that the theory is merely “demonstrating how pervasive systemic racism truly is.”

Scholars who have focused on decrypting the jargon of CRT literature have said the theory’s argument about “systemic racism” is not only riddled with fallacies, but also includes totalitarian elements of coercion and suppression of dissent, such as the rejection of all opposing views as illegitimate.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently denounced CRT as unsubstantiated and hateful.

“There’s no room in our classrooms for things like critical race theory. Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money,” he said, announcing that the state’s new civic curriculum will explicitly exclude CRT.

Various bills addressing CRT are making their way through legislatures in states controlled by the GOP. None of them mention the theory by name. They largely seem to be modeled after Trump’s executive order, banning inculcation of “divisive concepts” that claim, for instance, that “an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously” and that “an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, bears responsibility for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex.”

New Hampshire House Bill 544 would ban government institutions, including schools and universities, from teaching students or employees to “adopt or believe” CRT’s “divisive concepts.” It would also ban such instruction at workplaces of government contractors and subcontractors.

State Rep. Keith Ammon, who introduced the bill, told The Epoch Times that the idea came from a local state university professor who saw CRT “creeping” into his workplace. Ammon then learned from concerned citizens that CRT had been implemented in many places across the state, including some schools and universities, Ammon said.

The text of the bill was largely lifted from Trump’s order and adapted for the context of a state government, he said.

The bill allows promotion of “racial, cultural, or ethnic diversity or inclusiveness” as long as the enumerated tenets of CRT aren’t promoted.

Schools and universities would be free to discuss CRT “as part of a larger course of academic instruction … in an objective manner and without endorsement.”

The bill passed the state’s Executive Departments and Administration Committee on March 24.

Though the House GOP caucus is “almost completely for” the bill, Ammon said the state’s Republican governor, Christopher Sununu, “is a bit shy about signing the bill.” That’s why the legislators also included the text of the bill in the two-year budget proposal that’s about to get out of a committee.

“By putting it in the budget, it makes it a little harder to veto,” Ammon said.
Sununu’s office didn’t respond to a request for comment.

West Virginia House Bill 2595 would ban the use of state grant money for anything that promotes CRT. “In addition, state contractors will not be permitted to inculcate such views in their employees,” the bill says. It also bans schools from teaching CRT and strips funding from any state agency that promotes the theory. The bill hasn’t progressed since its introduction on Feb. 18.

In Iowa, House Bill 802 would ban CRT from government, school, and university training as well as “diversity and inclusion efforts.” It allows discussion of the theory “as part of a larger course of academic instruction.”

It was approved by a subcommittee on March 23.

A similar bill was also introduced in the Iowa Senate.

Another Iowa House bill would slash funding for schools that adopt curricula based on the “1619 Project,” a program developed by The New York Times that reinterprets American history to portray the United States as inherently racist.

A similar proposal failed in Arkansas. Republicans worried it would set a precedent for the legislature to dictate what should and shouldn’t be taught at schools. They preferred for the decisions to be made by school districts.

Missouri state Rep. Brian Seitz has also introduced a similar bill, but it has made no progress since January.

In Oklahoma, state Sen. Shane Jett introduced a bill that would ban CRT from schools and create a process to fire or not rehire teachers who don’t obey. Jett said a “concerned constituent” requested the bill, which led the senator to research the issue.

“I was appalled by what I saw,” Jett told The Epoch Times. As word got out that he was looking into the matter, some Oklahoma teachers started to provide him with materials and testimonials on CRT spreading in schools there.

“It’s basically psychological abuse of children,” who are “having their entire curriculum hijacked by ‘how can we look at this academic subject through the prism of race,’” Jett said.

His immediate issue was the “general lack of information about what is critical race theory,” he said. He said his fellow lawmakers either didn’t know what CRT was or were surprised that it was being taught in Oklahoma.

“Once we explain what is being taught, how it’s being taught, to whom it’s being taught,” he said, Republican lawmakers “are becoming increasingly sympathetic and desiring to address it.”

The bill wasn’t heard by the education committee by the deadline; some Republicans objected to it on the grounds that the legislature shouldn’t get involved in what is taught in classrooms.

Jett argued that his oath of office binds him to protect the Constitution of the United States. He sees CRT as an effort to undermine the constitutional order, and that obligates him to intervene. He’s looking for a House bill with a sympathetic sponsor that he can use as a vehicle for his proposal.

Proponents of CRT have criticized the efforts to curb its spread on the grounds that the lawmakers introducing it must be racist and also that the bills would restrict people’s First Amendment right to discuss CRT. This argument was rejected by Christopher Rufo, director of the Discovery Institute’s Center on Wealth and Poverty, who has been advocating for the removal of CRT from government institutions.

“The government does not have a right to free speech,” he said in an internal panel discussion for New Hampshire legislators earlier in March. “We have a right to free speech as American individuals against the government. The government can’t say whatever it wants. In fact, as legislators, you are duty-bound to constrain the speech of government, to have correct speech and right speech that reflects the values of voters. I mean, it’s just completely totalitarian to say that government has a right to unlimited speech.”

Rufo’s argument was echoed by Robert Lynn, former chief justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

“The law is settled that when the government chooses to pursue policy objectives it may compel its employees to speak in support of those objectives as a condition of their employment,” he said in a March 15 memo to Jason Osborne, New Hampshire House majority leader.

Case law is more stringent on restrictions of speech in academic settings, he noted. But since the bill is sufficiently specific and allows the discussion of CRT without promoting or advocating it, it “should pass constitutional muster,” he said.

“As this bill is debated, it might be worthwhile to try to pin down the opponents of the bill about whether they actually believe or support any of the divisive concepts that the bill seeks to prohibit. I suspect that some of them do support these pernicious concepts, but I doubt they will ever be willing to admit it. Still, forcing them to go on the record—or to duck the question—might prove to be a most interesting exercise!”

EXCLUSIVE: Male Antifa Militant Attacks Woman During Children’s Easter Egg Hunt — Promptly Gets Clocked By Proud Boy… and Arrested (VIDEOS)

A male Antifa militant got clocked in the face and arrested after he attacked a woman during a Easter egg hunt where children were present.

The incident took place during a “Pro-America Rally” in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The Easter eggs were provided by the Proud Boys, who often do charity work in their local communities.

A Proud Boy who goes by the name Remy Del Toro explained that, prior to Antifa showing up, the event had been family friendly and peaceful. He said there were about 200 people there, 20 of which were children. He said that four members of Antifa showed up and attempted to gain access to the area where the Easter egg hunt was underway. That is when the trouble began.

“What a Proud Boy should do,” it turns out, is punch the woman beater in the face — and he sure did.

The Proud Boys provided Gateway Pundit with videos of the incident.

After shoving the woman to the ground, the far-left militant attempted to use his flag to hit another woman that was filming, Del Toro said.

“I punched his ass and took him to the ground,” he said.

Del Toro was not arrested, but the attacker was.
According to those at the scene, the Antifa militant is now being charged with battery.

This why women need "toxic masculinity" in their lives. The man instinctively attacked the woman abuser. No soyboy would do this.

More on the Democrats’ Plans to Cleanse America from American-Loving Patriots

Democrats want to cleanse America from America-lovers.

Darren Beattie from Revolver News was on OANN yesterday and he shared some interesting perspectives on what the far-left and now communist leaders of the Democrat Party are doing to attempt to control America and destroy any semblance of America- loving patriots like those who voted for President Trump. Beattie shared the following:
The entire National Security apparatus and bureaucracy in the United States has been repurposed and redeployed domestically in order to silence and crush the energies associated with Donald Trump and his victories and his supporters. And so this latest story is especially creepy.
The context for this is Senator Duckworth who basically said, ‘We need to do a better job at identifying, vetting and ultimately cleansing the Defense sector from any employees who might be sympathetic effectively to Trump.”

Beattie was talking about a piece that we wrote about a few days ago:
The Democrats don’t want people thinking on their own. They are trying to prevent the God-given gift that people have to think and discern on their own. Most Americans don’t need the media telling them what is right and what is wrong. Most Americans don’t agree with the media.

Gaslighting: How Leftists Demonize And Demoralize Their Opposition

THURSDAY, APR 01, 2021 - 11:40 PM
Authored by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.us,

We have all heard this time honored cautionary mantra: “All governments lie”.
It’s not a theory, it is a fact that history has proven time after time.

I would only expand on the rule and say this: All governments, all corporations, all corporate media, all think tanks, and all corporate funded activist groups lie. There is a reason why public trust is at all time lows for the majority of these organizations, and it’s not because they are managed by good and honest people.

If you operate on the assumption that these groups are lying to you most of the time then you will find yourself on the right side of history.

That said, there are questions we need to ask ourselves if we ever hope to change the world for the better and remove these liars from power: Why do they lie? Why has this become a rule to live by? And, how are they able to lie and get away with it so often?

Well, it’s not because power corrupts. That cliché might be true to a point, but I think it’s a way for people to dismiss the bigger problem because they are afraid to address the ugly truth. The reality is, power does not necessarily corrupt; it’s that the corrupt seek out power.

Governments and other mainstream institutions always lie because psychopathic liars always infiltrate and overrun them. We have very few checks in place to prevent this, and very little is understood about psychopaths in the general public. To understand destructive institutions is to understand the character traits and methods of the psychopaths that run them.

Psychopaths are not very complicated people nor are they all that intelligent, but they often succeed because they are relentless in their pursuits. The common signs of psychopathy include a complete lack of empathy, the obsessive desire for dominance, the use of physical or psychological violence to gain control over others, a narcissistic need to feel superior to everyone else and a habit of playing the victim while victimizing others.

A common assumption about psychopaths is that they are incapable of working in a group or organizing for mutual gain. This is simply nonsense. In reality, numerous studies have shown that psychopaths are adept at finding their own kind in a crowd and even working together as a pack of predators. Some modern examples would be organized crime, cartels, sex traffickers, online scamming groups and religious cults.

Almost all psychopaths are inherent cowards; they will rarely pick on anyone their own size unless they have large numbers. The worst case scenario is fully realized organized psychopathy; the advent of a totalitarian culture in which psychopathic behavior is rewarded and defended by those in authority or influence, while honesty, morality and liberty are punished.

Over the course of generations, psychopaths have used different groups and ideologies to gain control over the public, but today organized psychopaths have chosen the cult of socialism, social justice, fake environmentalism and leftist ideology as their vehicles. Essentially, we are dealing with a modernized version of communism. And if we examine the habits of current leftist and globalist “movements” we will see a lot of similarities to historic communism, not to mention numerous psychopathic behaviors.

The use of “Gaslighting” as a weapon is a classic mainstay of psychopaths and by extension communist regimes, and it is visible EVERYWHERE in politics and the media right now. It’s perhaps ironic that I am publishing this article on April Fools Day, because gaslighting is very much a kind of trick, a con game. And, in order to control people, it helps to humiliate them and make them doubt their own conceptions of reality.

The basic definition of gaslighting is the manipulation of a person by psychological means into questioning their own sanity. In other words, making a sane person believe they might be insane. This, however, is not an adequate explanation of gaslighting. It’s not only about questions of sanity, it is also about questions of principle and morality.

The communist Soviet Union was notorious for gaslighting the public with propaganda that suggested anyone who defied the will of the state and who demanded freedom was “mentally ill”. The Cheka secret police and the KGB had special hospitals set aside for political dissidents called “Psikhushkas”. People of any prominence who were critical of the status quo were immediately disappeared and sent to these facilities after being accused of mental instability.
In Maoist China, especially during the Cultural Revolution, Mao targeted impressionable and gullible Chinese youth, brainwashing them into believing there was “institutional imperialism” hiding within every facet of Chinese society.

The stability of communism in China was under question at the time, and Mao knew a rebellion was possible. So, instead of immediately cracking down with the military, he encouraged Chinese academics and youths to “rebel” and “bring down the secret imperialists”. He redirected social discontent and aimed it at a non-existent ghost so that a rebellion would never rise up against him and the politburo.

Young and dumb Chinese activists thought they were rebelling when they were actually serving the interests of government elites.

Gaslighting in China was pervasive. Any person that held the most remote belief in freedom, free markets, business, private property or anyone that had any objections to the crimes of the communists was forced to undergo a trial, a kangaroo court called a “struggle session”.

During a struggle session, a dissident was sometimes apprehended, or sometimes shamed and compelled to stand before a large crowd of true believers in the communist faith. The crowd would browbeat them with accusations of criminality and immorality, trying to convince them of the evil of their ways. If the dissident bowed and submitted to the collective, begging forgiveness, then they might be allowed to live, but they had to BELIEVE that they had sinned. They had to fully adopt the communist ideology and plead for absolution.

Many victims that underwent such struggle sessions continued to believe they were criminals for the rest of their lives. They believed they were terrible people, even though they had no idea why they were punished in the first place.

Gaslighting is a powerful device for subjugation because it makes good people who love freedom think they are evil people that need to be restrained. It is also a way for a corrupt system to maintain control of the general population because it normalizes psychopathic behavior and suppresses moral conscience by convincing people that morality is “relative” or a “matter of perspective”, and that some abusive and destructive behavior is “necessary” in order to achieve a better world. If you can discombobulate a population into questioning their own morality, or if you can convince then to question their own sanity, then you can prevent them from ever rebelling against you.

These are the tried and true methods of psychopaths. If you ever wonder why abused spouses or family members stay with and even defend their abusers, it is because psychopaths use gaslighting to disarm their victims. If you are crazy or subconsciously treacherous, then maybe you aren’t being abused at all. Maybe, you are being saved from yourself, and maybe society is being protected from you?

And, if you lash out and defend yourself against the abuser, now you are truly a horrible human being. You just attacked your “protector”. You are now a danger to society. You are now a terrorist. The only way to avoid being labeled a terrorist or a madman is to quietly accept the abuse.

I see this control tactic all over the world, and it is becoming rather prevalent here in the US. The capitol building protest is a perfect example. Millions of law abiding Americans have been abused and oppressed by the establishment through lockdowns and censorship, while groups of leftists like BLM and Antifa are allowed to run rampant across the country looting and burning as they go.

Conservative Americans reacted with a protest after the election, seeing that such abuses were likely to be aided in the near future by the federal government under Joe Biden. They raided the capitol building, without armaments, to make a point. Then, they peacefully left.

Afterwards, the media bombarded us for months with the narrative that the capitol protest was actually an “insurrection” and an act of domestic terrorism. So, BLM gets to loot and burn their way through dozens of American cities and it’s called peaceful protesting. Conservatives protest at a single building and bust through the doors, and it’s considered an act of war. This is gaslighting.

Under pandemic mandates a vast portion of the US has been shut down and hundreds of thousands of small businesses have been lost. The fear mongering in the media over the coronavirus has been egregious and ridiculous.

Hundreds of thousands of people die every year in America from communicable diseases. Now, suddenly, we are supposed to abandon all of our constitutional rights because of covid?

Anyone who has disagreed with these measures has been called a “conspiracy theorist” and a danger to others. The science is on our side, and always has been. Every element of the pandemic has been exaggerated and overblown. Every statistic supports our skepticism of the government’s response, as I outlined in my recent article ‘The Real Reasons Why Millions Of Americans Will Defy Covid Mandates And Vaccines’.

But, when we cite these facts, we are told by the establishment that we are “lunatics” and “idiots”.

Of course, now we know that the death rate of Covid-19 according to scientific studies is a paltry 0.26% outside of nursing homes. We also know that lockdowns were completely useless in controlling the spread of the virus, as states with the harshest mandates ended up with the highest infections rates. And, finally, we know that masks are also useless in controlling the spread of the disease according to scientific studies and common sense observation.

Rather than admitting that lockdowns are pointless, that the masks do nothing and that it is silly to take an experimental mRNA vaccine for a virus that is a non-threat to 99.7% of the population, establishment hacks continue to double down on their propaganda when it comes to covid. The media continues to attack anyone that points out the REAL science as “conspiracy theorists”. This is gaslighting.

And finally, we can’t really have a discussion about gaslighting without mentioning the social justice agenda.

The phrase “white supremacy” is being repeated by corporate journalists and politicians until they are blue in the face. And more specifically, conservatives are being called out as the “biggest terrorist threat” to the US in decades because of our supposed white supremacist tendencies. The latest “spike” in Asian hate crimes is the new excuse for this propaganda campaign.

Set aside the fact that millions of conservatives are black and brown, not white.

Set aside the fact that the majority of the hate crimes targeting Asians the past couple years were actually perpetrated by black assailants (as I noted in last week’s article), and one of them is even a known BLM activist. Also set aside the fact that around 50% of all violent crime in the US is caused by black perpetrators according to the FBI. Somehow, all of this anarchy is the fault of white people in general and conservatives in particular.

The race baiting used by leftists the past several years is a prime example of gaslighting – Telling people they are responsible for evils they had nothing to do with and that are completely unrelated to them, then demanding they declare submission and loyalty to an ideology that seeks to enslave them as a means to wash away sins they were never guilty of.

If totalitarian control of the population is to be established in the US and the west, we have to be tricked into thinking our values of freedom, truth and meritocracy are somehow inherently evil. We have to be tricked into thinking we are insane for wanting liberty. To be clear, there only three ways that the brainwashing and gaslighting of free people will stop:
1) We submit and embrace the false narrative as if it is true and give in to psychological slavery.
2) We separate completely from leftist totalitarians and organized psychopaths and go our own way.
3) We remove the psychopaths from the picture and rebuild without their influence.
Until one of these three things happens, like all psychopaths, leftists and globalists will continue trying to wear us down. This is what they do. They have seen it work in the past and they are single minded in their objectives.

Joe Biden DOT Halts Texas Highway Project Using the Civil Rights Act

President Joe Biden’s Department of Transportation (DOT) has paused a highway widening project in Houston, Texas, citing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as legal justification.

In what could be a first for any administration in this context, the Biden administration is using its federal powers to pause the Texas DOT plan to widen Interstate 45. The administration is doing this as a test to address what it calls a history of “government-driven racial inequalities.”

This comes after complaints from local activities during the federal DOT’s intervention period. The proposed plan, known as the North Houston Highway Improvement Project, is proposed to widen I-45 at three different sections.

The Texas DOT’s completed environmental review of the project in February found it would have a significant impact on the surrounding communities the highway currently runs through. It would reportedly displace a substantial number of black and Hispanic communities, including schools, places of worship, and more than 1,000 homes and businesses.

Biden’s transportation secretary, Pete Buttigieg, claims he will make what he calls “systemic racism” the centerpiece of his time at the department, consistent with Biden’s Executive Order 13985.

Title VI is part of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that prohibits discrimination based on race, color, or national origin in programs that are receiving federal financial assistance.

Federal officials involved in this could eventually allow the project to take place. Politico reported, “the action to freeze it at all, and in particular DOT’s use of civil rights laws to underpin that decision, has buoyed activists on the ground and surprised even seasoned regulators in Washington.”

Permanently blocking this project could pose an uphill battle for the administration. Many lawyers say the administration will have to prove that widening the highway route in specific areas is intentionally discriminating against minority groups. Others note the Biden administration could try to persuade courts to agree that because the highway’s widening affects more minorities than whites, it should be considered a Title VI violation even with no evidence of discriminatory intent.

If the federal DOT would be able to successfully bock the start of this project, countless other federally funded programs could be deemed illegal.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), a Democrat who represents the Houston area, joined local officials to challenge the project. In her complaint, she urged holding off on the expansion, including starting on contract solicitation until the federal DOT has time to review the plans, including the civil rights and environmental concerns. Jackson Lee said, “I think this project is the poster child for [the administration’s] policies.”

Fred Wagner, former general counsel at the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), said, “This is a big deal … It just doesn’t happen very often.”

Russia Warns Of Increasing 'Anti-White Racism' In U.S.
Chris Menahan

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday warned that anti-white racism might be building in the United States and said that political correctness 'taken to the extreme' would have lamentable consequences," AFP reports.

From AFP, "Russia Warns of Anti-White 'Aggression' in U.S.":
In an interview with political scientists broadcast on national television, Moscow's top diplomat said Russia had long supported a worldwide trend that "everyone wants to get rid of racism."

"We were pioneers of the movement promoting equal rights of people of any skin color," he said.

But Lavrov stressed it was important "not to switch to the other extreme which we saw during the 'BLM' (Black Lives Matter) events and the aggression against white people, white U.S. citizens."

[...] Lavrov accused the United States of seeking to spread what he called "a cultural revolution" around the world.

"They have colossal possibilities for it," he said in the interview.

"Hollywood is now also changing its rules so that everything reflects the diversity of modern society," he said, calling that "a form of censorship."

"I've seen Black people play in Shakespeare's comedies. Only I don't know when there will be a white Othello," Lavrov said.

"You see this is absurd. Political correctness taken to the point of absurdity will not end well."
French President Emmanual Macron recently condemned the anti-White doctrine of critical race theory imported into France from American universities for poisoning race relations in France.

From Disrn, "French leaders say social and racial theories 'entirely imported from the United States' are destroying French culture":
Prominent French public figures have increasingly warned that social theories on race, gender, and class being imported from American universities are damaging French society and democratic values.

Late October, French President Emmanuel Macron warned of "certain social science theories entirely imported from the United States." French education minister Jean-Michel Blanquer shared similar sentiments.

"No one has the right to cowardice anymore," said Blanquer. "There is a fight to be waged against an intellectual matrix coming from American universities and intersectional theses, which want to essentialize communities and identities, at the antipodes of our republican model which, for its part, postulates equality between human beings, independently of their characteristics of origin, sex, religion."

Blanquer went on to say that such ideologies are a "breeding ground for a fragmentation of our society and a vision of the world which converges with the interests of the Islamists."

Macron has also taken aim at American media for promoting ideologies that focus on group identity politics.

"When I see... journalists who write in a country that is the heir to the Enlightenment and the French Revolution -- when I see them legitimizing this violence, and saying that the heart of the problem is that France is racist and Islamophobic, then I say the founding principles have been lost," he said last November.

[...] Meanwhile, historian Pierre-André Taguieff said that such ideologies are being driven by a "hatred of the West, as a white civilization."

"The common agenda of these enemies of European civilization can be summed up in three words: decolonize, demasculate, de-Europeanize. Straight white male -- that's the culprit to condemn and the enemy to eliminate," he said.
New York Times contributor Damon Young just two weeks ago wrote a column for The Root stating that "whiteness is a pandemic" and "the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it."

the-root-whiteness-pandemic-1.jpg

"White supremacy is a virus that, like other viruses, will not die until there are no bodies left for it to infect," Young wrote. "Which means the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it."

He was not fired from his job at The Root and the New York Times refused to condemn him -- such proclamations are what they pay him for!

The Coalition of the Un-Woke
by Josh Hammer
April 2, 2021

Woke, Wokeness, Critical Race Theory, Cancel Culture, Neo-Marxism,

Charlotte, NC — The metastasis of the “woke” ideology is the most comprehensive threat facing the American republic. It is appallingly totalitarian, insofar as the woke wield the levers of cancel culture to suppress all dissident speech, root out all wrongthink and achieve by sheer force an intellectual homogeneity. It is outright racist, insofar as intersectionality and identity politics, to say nothing of vogue concepts such as “critical race theory” and “racial equity,” overtly discriminate on the basis of race and thus undermine the preeminent American ethos of equal protection under the law.

As if out of a dystopian novel, though, the woke ideology has nonetheless become the unifying creed of the American ruling class. That ruling class, which extends from public sector bureaucracies to the Fortune 500 to Hollywood to Silicon Valley and sundry others in between, has in recent years universally come to imbibe, promulgate and disseminate the core tenets of wokeness.

What’s more, that universality often takes the more insidious form of cross-institutional collusion: As Matthew Schmitz put it in a Tablet essay last September, “Governmental authorities and corporations now coordinate in enforcing the dictates of the new secular progressive faith.” Thus has the woke ideology completed, a la the Italian Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci, its long march through the institutions. And let’s not mince words: This is Marxism. As Israeli political theorist Yoram Hazony carefully outlined in a Quillette essay last August, “The new Marxists do not use the technical jargon that was devised by 19th-century Communists,” but “their politics are based on Marx’s framework for critiquing liberalism.”

Liberalism — real, actual, Enlightenment liberalism — is increasingly on the defensive in America. Though there remain many right-leaning classical liberals — those who tend to prioritize the free market and individual liberty — the locus of the intellectual energy on the grassroots American right now comes from those who question whether our modern societal commitment to values-neutral liberalism has actually succeeded in “conserving” much of anything. On the left, the traditional “live and let live” liberalism of John Stuart Mill has been far too reluctant to push back in earnest against the woke ideology. Left-liberalism is not quite vanquished yet, but it is on the decline, as evidenced by such developments as the Democratic Party’s present infatuations with ending the Senate filibuster and packing the federal courts. So much for “neutral” proceduralism.

There are certainly some high-profile left-liberal defectors from the woke ideology’s institutional “long march.” Former New York Times editor Bari Weiss, for instance, has become something of a one-woman cottage industry in calling out the execrableness of “critical race theory,” the widespread media gaslighting with respect to the true identity of anti-Asian hate-crime culprits and other woke excesses. There are many others, such as Caitlin Flanagan and even popular HBO host Bill Maher. But in their present condition, left-liberals are too outnumbered and too ill-equipped to take on the wokesters themselves. Instead, some sort of new tactical/strategic alliance is needed.

The solution is for a political coalition of the un-woke. Admittedly, this coalition will be somewhat crass and, for many, uncomfortable. But much like the conservative “fusionism” that ascended to the status of the mainstream Republican Party platform during the era when the right’s disparate factions all had their various reasons to oppose Soviet Communism, so, too, can a coalition of the un-woke be based around a commonality of interests arrayed against a mutually shared, authoritarian foe. As Schmitz wrote, “Liberals who stress the provisional nature of knowledge, resist all-encompassing political claims, and seek space for public error and disagreement, have grounds for agreement with Jews, Christians, and others who believe that men are sinful and fallen.”

As “critical race theory” pervades national K-12 education and the “anti-racism” of race-hustling charlatans like Ibram X. Kendi solidifies its beachhead, the idea for such a coalition is rapidly gaining steam. In an Epoch Times essay earlier this week, educator William Brooks argued, in remarkably forthright fashion, that “liberals have only two options to choose from: Either they will dance to the tune of the Marxists and help bring Western democracy to an end, or they will seek to develop a pro-liberty alliance with conservatives.” That choice is just as stark as it is valid.

Those of us on the traditionalist right must do all we can, in our own unique capacities, to accelerate this trend and welcome left-liberals in with open arms and a warm embrace. The imperative of the moment demands that left-liberals join us in an alliance against the neo-Marxism of wokeness, “cancel culture” and “anti-racism.” The survival of Western civilization, quite literally, depends on it.

Passivity Is a Choice, and We Made It

Passivity Is a Choice, and We Made It

Source: AP Photo/Richard Vogel

There’s always an uproar when we see Asian-Americans being beaten to a pulp or murdered on video and the people around them just stare instead of intervene. But why are we surprised? They are just doing exactly what society has told them to do. It’s not necessarily cowardice. They are making an entirely rational choice based on our society’s unequivocal message that we should stand back and watch.

If we, as a society, want to have people leap into the fray, and I would like that, then we need to do the things that make it a rational choice to do so instead of one that might very well bring ruin, imprisonment, injury, or death.

But we do the opposite, then act stunned when people conform to the reality we create. Let’s look at the logistics. The people pummeling others are usually pretty big, and they’re criminals for whom violence is a way of life. Most normal people are not streetfighters, and taking on the criminals is extremely dangerous and can easily get you hurt or killed. Now, a civilized society would want to encourage people to intervene, and that means not interfering with normal citizens’ right to bear arms. Many states do not, but the Ninth Circuit just informed us that the right to “bear” arms doesn’t actually mean you have a right to bear arms. So, in many places, society has deprived you of the ability to intervene with some measure of safety and effectiveness.

But if you do intervene, your trouble just begins. Even if you are in the right does not mean an intervention will go your way. If you are in the wrong jurisdiction, with one of those leftist-bought district attorneys, then you run the risk of being prosecuted even if you did everything right. Take it from a lawyer – innocent people get shafted all the time by the system, especially when the system wants them shafted. Maybe you eventually get acquitted, after a couple years of hell, some time in jail, and financial ruin – congratulations!

Or, if someone videotapes the encounter, maybe your life gets ruined because the thug you shot is of an SJW-favored group. Do you think the facts matter? Do you think the crook’s criminal record, actions before bystanders started filming, or anything else is going to get in the way of the narrative? Come on.

You cannot rely on objective truth to protect you in a world of subjectivity and lies.

Maybe you just get sued for hurting the poor, misunderstood degenerate – do not for a second think that there is some magic legal defense in most places that is going to keep you from getting dragged into court if you actually hurt the attacker. Oh, and your insurance might not even cover your defense if it’s characterized as an intentional act. You get the privilege of paying to defend a frivolous lawsuit too!

I bet you’re just chomping at the bit to help your fellow citizen right about now.

So, a couple strangers get into a conflict in front of you and you have no weapon and absolutely no assurance that you will not, at a minimum, be dragged through hell if you get involved. What do you do?

Well, as we have seen, people conform to what we ask for as a society, and we could not more clearly be asking folks to just stand there and watch. When we choose, as a society, to punish those who intervene, it’s hard to be shocked when people don’t. People can rationally calculate risk and reward – “Okay, that nice Asian grandma is going to have a black eye, and that’s bad, but I’m going to go home in one piece tonight and not be bankrupted or tossed in jail forever, so I can live with it.

And this is not merely the rational choice citizens are making. Cops make it too, as we have seen in the last year. They let criminals run rampant, especially in Democrat cities, because to stop the punks puts themselves at an unreasonable risk – not the reasonable risk they signed up for, but the risk of getting stabbed in the spine by the people they protect and serve. The use of force has risks for regular Joes, but they're exponentially greater for a cop. A routine encounter with a guy selling single cigs – which our reps made illegal for some reason – or one with a guy passing counterfeit bills can escalate into violence and maybe death, and where does the cop end up then? With the brass and politicians backing them, or in the defendant’s chair in a murder trial? When’s the last time you saw a blue city mayor stand by his, her, or xir cops? All other facts aside, Derek Chauvin was using the tactics and techniques he was trained in and now he's looking at the rest of his life in jail. His trial is a joke, with no change of venue and biased jurors and an establishment that desperately wants him convicted irrespective of justice because they fear riots. Don’t think every cop in America isn’t seeing that, and many will hit the gas to get out of the bad neighborhood and home to mama – leaving the citizens who elected the people who created these incentives to deal with the carnage.

I guess elections do have consequences.

If you are a cop, why would you go out of your way to risk your future for people who hate you and will not stand behind you? You won’t. And is that a moral failing? This is not mere cowardice like that beta who refused to rush into Parkland and put a slug in that scumbag’s brainpan or die trying. This is about the routine betrayal of America’s janitors in blue. Voters let this happen and they were free to do so. After all, your city has a right to set the parameters of its policing, and their Democrat electorates have made it quite clear that they do not want to accept the risk of ugly incidents where civilians get hurt. That is unequivocal, and that is the priority. Fine. That means that staying in your patrol car and driving on by as chaos reigns is simply following your instructions – implied instructions to be sure, but crystal clear instructions nonetheless.

And if robberies, rape, and murders skyrocket, well, the cities prefer that to videos of petty criminals colliding with the cops, so that’s what they get. Enjoy!

We could do it another way as a society. We could encourage, instead of discourage, heroism. Some parts of America, primarily the ones the Establishment hates, do. And, weirdly, you don’t see chaos there. We could choose to let citizens be armed everywhere to neutralize the criminals’ advantage. We could institute extremely strict laws barring prosecution for interventions at the outset so commie DAs can’t victimize heroes. We could do the same for civil liability. And we could bar employers from jettisoning internet-famous employees who do act to protect others. We could treat these citizens – and cops – as heroes instead of trashing them as racists.

That is, if we wanted interventions. But apparently, many of us don’t.

This abdication is democracy. It’s simply what some voters asked for. Just stop pretending to be surprised that people are doing what they are told to do – nothing.

The Catholic Church is Under Attack and Is Being Used by the Likes of George Soros and John Podesta

By Joe Hoft
Published April 2, 2021 at 9:25pm
soros-600x303.jpg

The Christian faith in America is under attack and has been for some time. Some of these coordinated attacks are backed by billionaire George Soros.

Earlier this week we reported on a pregnant woman who was kicked out of Dallas church for not wearing a face mask even though there is no such requirement in Texas or in the diocese where the church was located.

This was not a good look for the church which is already under attack.
The church in the US today is already having difficulties with terrible press repeated endlessly in the media related to sexual abuse incidents concerning priests and the church’s response to uncovered abuse. Efforts to address this abuse have morphed into efforts to destroy the church:
Several organizations were founded in response to the sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church. The two most active and prominent are Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) and Voice of the Faithful (VOTF). Regardless of their initial objectives and good work, both organizations are or have been led by dissenting Catholics and have morphed into forums for heterodoxy.
In addition, individuals like John Podesta and George Soros have been working on destroying the US by using the Catholic Church:
During the 2016 presidential election, Wikileaks published a number of damning emails from the account of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, when he was still head of the left-wing Center for American Progress. The emails revealed that Podesta helped create Catholic front groups for the Democratic Party as early as 2005, in an effort to undermine the authority of the Catholic Church and the U.S. bishops and to swing mainstream Catholic voters towards his leftist political agenda.
In one 2011 e-mail, Sanford “Sandy” Newman of Voices for Progress wrote Podesta suggesting, “There needs to be a Catholic Spring” to further separate American Catholics from their bishops regarding artificial contraception. In response, Podesta, who is at least nominally Catholic, replied, “We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this…. Likewise Catholics United.”
The two organizations would prove to be instrumental in helping Barack Obama win the Catholic vote in 2008.
“The role of Catholics United and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good was to obscure the debate over abortion as much as possible by propagandizing to the effect that Barack Obama… was the ‘real’ pro-life candidate because he intended to reduce the rate of abortion through anti-poverty measures,” wrote Anne Hendershott for The Catholic World Report.
Many of the so-called “Catholic” organizations are funded by the Soros networks.
According to one report:
With over 1.2 billion Catholics worldwide and about a third of Americans calling themselves Catholic, George Soros and John Podesta infiltrating the Catholic Church [to foment open rebellion to force through Marxism] is a big deal. That is what is going on and has been for some time.
A WikiLeaks email from February of 2012, has John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign Chair, and the president of Voices for Progress discussing how to “plant the seeds of revolution” within the Catholic Church. Like true Marxist-Stalinists, they especially wanted to do this when Catholic bishops opposed the HHS-Obamacare contraceptive mandate.
These groups have infiltrated the church and push socialism and pro-choice initiatives.
The Catholic organizations are also being used to promote illegal immigration and refugee resettlement with millions pouring in for the care of the flood of foreigners.
This is occurring as we speak. The US government along with Catholic Charities are involved in what some say is the largest illegal alien immigration scheme in US history going on today.

The Catholic Church needs to get out of the illegal immigration business and break ties with people like John Podesta and George Soros who have no desire to help the church or this country in any way.

Surabian: The Left’s ‘Hostile Takeover’ of Corporate America Has ‘Unchained’ GOP

Former Republican White House strategist Andrew Surabian joined SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Saturday this weekend where he offered a message to members of the Republican Party across America, telling them not bend a knee to “corporate interests,” warning that these organizations are “not your friend.”

Surabian’s interview came on the heels of Major League Baseball’s decision to pull out of Atlanta, Georgia, for its All Star-Game in response to a recently passed voting reform law in Georgia.

“We’ve really been seeing a merger between big government and big business,” Surabian told host Matthew Boyle, questioning how businesses have begun to correlate themselves with “woke” policies and the “absolute hypocrisy of the left.”

“If they really wanna go woke, if they really want to claim that they care about these issues, we need to start making these people live by the laws they set for the rest of us,” Surabian continued. “Do you really think the MLB cares about that issue or do they use issues like voter ID and diversity to shield their company from criticism over issues they actually care about like wages or deals that they’ve cut.”

“One good thing to come out of this hostile takeover by the left of corporate America is hopefully it has unchained the Republican Party from corporate interests,” Surabian said, adding:
Republicans, hear me, you do not have to do the bidding at the business roundtable anymore, you do not have to do the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce, or Delta, or Coca-Cola. These companies hate you, they hate your values, they hate what you believe, they are not your friend, and even if they give you a $1,000 check, they’re writing $5 million checks to [Black Lives Matter]. So, the one good thing that could come out of this whole thing is if the Republican Party can finally wake up and understand that we don’t need to be tied into what the corporations want. We should be the party that stands up for the individual, for families, and against the woke left, and against big corporations, and against big government, and against big labor, and against all of these huge multi-national institutions that want to run our lives. We owe nothing to these people.
“There’s been a big shift, and I really do think there’s something good will come out of it if Republicans hopefully finally realize that they don’t need to sing to the tune of corporations anymore,” Surabian said. “Let the Democrats be the party of radical activists and what the big corporations want, a political loser.”

“People hate this [political correctness] stuff,” Surabian added in conclusion.

“Every poll shows 60 percent of Americans cannot stand cancel culture, they don’t like political correctness. There’s a big backlash coming. Let these corporations side with the left and let’s make them regret it.”

Parishioners have accused London police of trying to find lockdown rule-breaking during an Easter Sunday service to justify having shut down a Good Friday mass at a Polish church.

The Christ the King Polish Roman Catholic Church in Balham, Wandsworth, south London, came to prominence over the weekend after several police officers raided the place of worship on one of the holiest days in the Christian calendar, alleging that the gathering was “unlawful”, threatening the faithful with £200 fines if they did not leave.

The church has demanded an apology from London’s Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and maintains that churchgoers had kept proper social distancing and hygiene procedures in accordance with government rules regarding the reopening of places of worship.

According to the Dail Mail, two officers showed up at the church on Balham High Street on Sunday during mass and spoke to two church stewards before leaving, apparently not finding reasons to issue any fines or dispersal orders.

Wandsworth police tweeted on Sunday afternoon: “After police were called to a church in Balham on Friday, we are pleased that Easter events could continue at this church as planned throughout Saturday and on Sunday. We continue to engage with all of London’s communities to enable religious services to take place safely.”

Images taken from outside of the church showed the overflow of around 40 worshippers kneeling on the pavement, listening to the service coming from inside on loudspeakers.

Speaking to the newspaper, 17-year-old Lukaz Kaczmarak said: “The police were here again today, but I wonder if they were here to try and catch us out.

“They are scared they made a mistake so now want to prove that we are breaking the rules in whatever way they can find, so came back to check up on us.”

The young man added that churchgoers were particularly upset because the disruption on Friday had come during “one of the most important days in the Catholic calendar” and before anyone had had a chance to take the eucharist.

He also accused a police officer of being disrespectful, saying: “The female officer came in, walked around and stood on the altar. I don’t know if she doesn’t believe in God, but it could have been handled better and more respectfully.”

Tomsz Niewiadomski, 39, who was at Friday’s mass, said that it seemed like the police did not know what they were doing, saying that on Good Friday: “I was standing just inside the door at the back. They came in and said everyone was breaking the law before checking what was in place. They said no one was social distancing and it was unsafe.

“But everyone was wearing masks and sitting apart from each other. There was a booking system so there was only a certain number of people inside.”

The church’s chairman, Merek Mendel, confirmed that officers visited again on Sunday, saying of the Met’s actions on Friday: “It was disgusting what they [the police] did. Good Friday is one of the most sacred days for us.”

Mr Mendel added that as well as threatening churchgoers with £200 fines each, police had said the church risked a £10,000 penalty.

Police in Alberta, Canada, also tried to disrupt a Polish church service during the holy days, before Pastor Artur Pawlowski ordered the six officers to leave and not return without a warrant, shouting, “Out! Out! Out!”, and calling the officers “Gestapo Nazi communist fascists” and “psychopaths”.

Russia's Lavrov Warns Of Surging Anti-White Racism In US

SUNDAY, APR 04, 2021 - 11:12 AM
Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says there is surging “aggression against white people” in the United States and that it is harming efforts to fight racism.

Lavrov made the comments during an interview with political scientists that was broadcast on national television.

“We were pioneers of the movement promoting equal rights of people of any skin color,” said Lavrov, adding that “everyone wants to get rid of racism.”

However, he emphasized how it was important “not to switch to the other extreme which we saw during the ‘BLM’ (Black Lives Matter) events and the aggression against white people, white U.S. citizens.”

Lavrov also insisted that forces within the U.S. were trying to spread a “cultural revolution” around the world by forcing “diversity” down everyone’s throats.

“Hollywood is now also changing its rules so that everything reflects the diversity of modern society,” he said, labeling it “a form of censorship.”

1617580398941.png

“I’ve seen Black people play in Shakespeare’s comedies. Only I don’t know when there will be a white Othello,” Lavrov said.

“You see this is absurd. Political correctness taken to the point of absurdity will not end well,” he concluded.

As we previously highlighted, after every mass shooting, journalists and leftists rush to blame white people even before the perpetrator has been identified.
In the case of the Boulder supermarket shooting, this backfired massively after it was revealed that the gunman was an Islamist immigrant from the Middle East.
After the Atlanta shooting attack which targeted massage parlors, the media once again whipped up hysteria over “white supremacy,” despite the fact that authorities found absolutely zero evidence the assault was motivated by race.

This led New York Times contributor Damon Young to assert that “whiteness is a pandemic” and “the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it.”

“He was not fired from his job at The Root and the New York Times refused to condemn him — such proclamations are what they pay him for!” writes Chris Menahan.

This narrative, in addition to Critical Race Theory, which teaches that all the United States’ problems are the fault of white people, has clearly created an atmosphere where race hate directed towards white people is not only tolerated, it is openly encouraged.
