A LOT of what you are seeing right now (potential arrests for Trump and Putin announced on the same day, for example) is about diverting eyes away from Joe Biden and the Biden family as a whole. This is a MAJOR issue for them currently... especially since they lost their Orwellian censorship machine on Twitter. Speaking of that, I honestly don't know where we would be right now if @elonmusk didn't take over this platform... thank God that he did!
The problem is that they are willing to risk a MASSIVE domestic issue and even potentially a world war to do this.
The irony is that they are going to end up destroying Biden themselves at some point (I do NOT believe that he will be the Democratic nominee in 2024) but they want that to be on their own terms and with their own narrative attached to it. They are already sabotaging him in many ways, with the classified documents being one of them.
What we need to do is not let them get our eyes off of the things being exposed. It is vital that we understand that they are definitely playing a game, or series of games rather. Even a Trump arrest is a short-term band-aid on a wound that will end up healing worse... because they didn't actually dress it like they should have.

You know I'm 100% Trump 2024 but I still love DeSantis as my Governor - but if DeSantis doesn't come out soon and make a bold statement against this political witch hunt against Trump - the primary is already over.

I have watched my country, a country that I love deeply to do this
I served my country proudly during Vietnam.
I served my country proudly as a law dog for 25 years.
This you know.
I never tried to dissuade my kids from military service themselves
One was green beret Bosnia Serbia war and initially into afghan
The other did 20 years with trips to the sand box New Orleans. And border deployment
And I was proud of them.
But today
Reading this thread. And others around the net and the news clips on tv
I am disgusted beyond redemption.
I know a lot of you here are vets yourselves and rightly proud of your service
I know a lot if you are proud Americans in the old and original sense.
So
I don’t want to offend.
But. If this action against Trump in fact happens and Trump in fact is arrested. Regardless of court action
I can no longer pledge fealty to this country nor pledge to this flag. I can no longer fly the flag of my fathers.
The Fourth of July will ring hollow.
I will still honor my fellow brothers in arms.
For service we all rendered in the past
I will still honor the fallen on Memorial Day

It once appeared certain that President Donald Trump was set to be arrested and marched away in handcuffs Tuesday. Now this may not happen at all.
As TGP’s Joe Hoft has reported, Trump’s indictment is on hold until one more witness testifies.
Trump calls the man a “highly respected lawyer.” He says the witness supposedly has “conclusive and irrefutable” evidence totally exonerating him.
The lawyer also once represented disgraced felon Michael Cohen, who may testify Monday as well.
Thanks to Redstate.com and Insider, America now knows the identity of this critical witness. His name is Robert Costello, who has represented Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon in addition to Cohen.

Is Trump getting arrested on Tuesday or not? Things seemed all but certain when the former president put out a post on Saturday affirmatively saying that was going to happen. In it, he also called for people to take to the streets and protest the Manhattan District Attorney targeting him. The implication was that his attorneys had already been notified.
By that evening, another all-caps post was put out by Trump, again seeming to confirm his tenuous position and what was coming. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, news dropped that greatly muddied the waters. According to RedState’s reporting, the indictment hasn’t technically been voted on.
Who is this witness? According to Insider (the site that initially broke the news of the indictment not being final), it’s Robert Costello, who has represented Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani..
Monday’s surprise grand jury witness in the New York “hush-money” investigation into Donald Trump is Giuliani lawyer Robert Costello, a source familiar with the investigation confirmed to Insider.
Star prosecution witness Michael Cohen is also making himself available Monday, in case Manhattan prosecutors decide to call him before the grand jury to give rebuttal testimony, Cohen told Insider.
News that as many as two witnesses — Costello and Cohen — may now need to testify before the grand jury can vote provides new clues to the timing for any indictment.

Elon Musk took to Twitter Saturday to issue a warning to Democrats that arresting former President Donald Trump will ensure that he lands back in the White House.
Former President Trump is currently under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney over his alleged role in a “hush money” scheme. The investigation centers on the alleged $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels to keep her from revealing her relationship with Trump during the 2016 presidential election. Elon Musk tweeted that an indictment of the former President will backfire.

Not everyone agrees with Musk’s assessment that arresting the former President will help him in his quest to return to the Oval Office.

The national big box stores all got fat during COVID. We can take away their profits in a week and the only thing people have to do is stay home. Not seeing widespread confirmation of any of this so far.
It seems unlikely to me that the DA would have negotiated a date and time for Trump’s appearance without an indictment in hand. But then, this whole thing could have been some weird plot by Trump. Perhaps Trump wanted to cower his competitors by demonstrating his ability to command the weekend news cycle yet again.

OK... It is beginning to look like another Trump publicity stunt. Apparently, Trump made his announcement based on imaginary "press reports" rather than a negotiated deal with the DA.
I sure hope none of us took Trump at his word and made hasty reservations!
