Imagine if he were to die while in custody..
There are some who would feel it morally justified to let/make that happen, believing they would easily be forgiven and even celebrated. They have already pulled off a rehearsal with Epstein and got away with it.

And it sure would confirm a whole lot of questions among the timid population. The clear message would be “what you gonna do about it?”

The only reason this is getting done is because they know for a fact that we will do nothing. ( and it really does not have to be Trump, just look at what they have done to innocents from J6, they have their proof right there along with a long train of abuses)

Oh sure the strongly worded letter, the hastily painted sign, the indignant posting on social media...but in the end not much more.

Okkkk...I got some questions...maybe I just didn't see the answers or missed them...so here goes...

What is the statute of limitations on this new misdemeanor that ranks higher on the justice scale than violent felonies?...when is trump's next rally?...thought I read about one scheduled for waco, texas... n now can't find it...n who bought up the popcorn stock?...better stop there...those can get me in enough trouble...

I've said this before.
Trump did lots of business in NYC for decades, shit don't get done in NYC (especially the 60-80's) without paying the right people (Italians if you know what I mean). Time to call in some favors and start disappearing these problems.
Expenses paid one way fishing charters.

McCarthy directs committees to probe whether federal funds were used in potential Trump indictment

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Saturday said he is directing House committees to investigate whether federal funds are being used for "politically motivated prosecutions" amid reports that former President Donald Trump could be indicted as early as next week.

"Here we go again — an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump,"
McCarthy tweeted.

McCarthy was reacting to indications that the Manhattan District Attorney's office is potentially preparing to issue an indictment for alleged hush money payments Trump made as a presidential candidate in 2016.

A court source told Fox News that the office has requested a meeting with law enforcement. The meeting is to "discuss logistics for some time next week, which would mean that they are anticipating an indictment next week," the source familiar with the planning said.
Trump said on Saturday on Truth Social that he will be "arrested on Tuesday."

The potential indictment stems from the lengthy investigation surrounding Trump's alleged payment of "hush money" to porn actress Stormy Daniels. Toward the end of the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump's then-lawyer Michael Cohen sent $130,000 to Daniels to prevent her from disclosing a 2006 affair with Trump. Trump, who denies the affair, reimbursed Cohen through installments. The office, led by DA Alvin Bragg, has been investigating the hush money scandal — which took place in 2016 — for the past five years.

Reached for comment Friday, the Manhattan District Attorney's office would neither "confirm or comment" on the impending indictment.

The move has raised concerns from Republicans that any prosecution is politically motivated — and McCarthy wants the House to investigate.

"I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions," McCarthy said.
Similarly, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, asked: "How much federal funding does the Manhattan DA's office receive?"
Any indictment of Trump, which could include him being placed in cuffs and fingerprinted, would be the first such indictment of a former president and only fuel accusations of political bias from prosecutors from Republicans.
Trump, meanwhile, called for protests and also accused the DA's office of being "corrupt and highly political."

"NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!," Trump wrote.

Not exactly.

It looks like a State Indictment/Trial/Decision is binding EXCEPT if appealed.

And that appears to be the point of anything Manhattan District Attorney throws at this - "Lawfare." Continue to harass and cause Trump to expend resources until he can't continue. Meanwhile giving the MEEDIA fodder to throw at Trump and try to sway public opinion.

Bannon's War Room via Marjorie Taylor Green discussed this and her read on the politics is that "This will only make Trump MORE POPULAR." Mike Davis of the Article 3 Project says "This indictment is dead in the water." And he should know being a former Supreme Court Lawyer.

Truthfully, the whole thing is designed to be a "media circus." Already most online sources say the sum paid to Stormy Daniels is "hush money." As if they somehow know that Ms. Daniel's claims are valid? And MEEDIA takes her claim over his because "After all it's Trump we're talking about and he MUST be guilty." (Of anything/everything/all things.)

It is not unusual for persons of Trump's $tature to "pay off" those who make claims against him. Sometimes a paid claim is cheaper than a successful defense.

That is, if the recipient of the claim adheres to the terms of the agreement. Ms. Daniels (whatever her name of the day is) did not and apparently is rolling the dice for a bigger return.

And the Democrats are more than willing to help.

Congress critters have paid hush money for years out of congressional funds many times ...and that my friends is our money

I wonder how many of our military leaders still see President Trump as their
true commander-in-chief? How many will simply sit on their hands and do nothing
while their ship sinks.???

Any J6 type protests would be pointless without some heavy duty backup.

It should be obvious that the Biden crime family is out of control.

We are fast approaching a fight-or-flight response.

Is there any such thing a person can be charged with to disqualify him from running for President?

I have not been following this
I thought Stormy thing was a dead issue.
They claimed he used campaign funds originally and that was bogus.
So now what? Paying someone to stfu is not illegal.
They are so afraid of Trump that they have to go after him and remove him so he can't influence the next election. That tells me Trump is the good guy and those who want to take him down are the bad guys. If Trump runs in the next presidential election, he'd win; the bad guys have to prevent that.

The bad guys prevented him from winning last election through fraud and deception. Nothing has changed to fix that.

Talk is cheap
Protest? No thanks! This is not the thing to protest over. Fabricated theatre, like "look, squirrel!" in a time of real issues needing to be exposed/addressed...like the attempted Great Reset, people dying/injured from "vaccines," East Palestine and other homeland terrorism, and the digital currency threat- to name a few.

They want to arrest a bunch of Soros paid "extreme right-wing patriots" to try to sque;ch and kill freedom...a ruse, just like J6 was. Another set-up?
