Anyway, I forgot that I came to post I've spent time in some 40-50k venues the last few days, here in fly over country, and it was my impression that security was a wee bit more alert than usual. Not just the obvious/uniformed folk, but all the rest of the eyes in the crowd.
For many reasons, I trust my discernment implicitly, and know that there were even eyes on me at times. Admittedly, it's second nature to do my own 'security assessments' of venues, and one of our party was unable to attend due to a last minute ER trip, so my analysis and our distress and phone patterns may have given valid reasons for us to be duly noted, even if the alert status hadn't been notched up.
We here in fly over country are paying specific attention to homecoming/harvest events at the schools, and to Halloween.
For those who doubt that there are teams conus, i would remind you that we've seen the lone wolf attacks conus in the last 12 months, and many instances of probing our armed service members and military installations at the gates, etc, as well as countless cyber ransom attacks and denial of services. To think that there is NOT, at this point, suggests a willful blindness to the facts on the ground, imho.
Having said that I do not recommend hiding in the safety of one's home- that is not any way to live. Still, hone your discretion and discernment and relationship with the good Lord, and listen and obey his voice immediately when he says do do this thing, or do not go to this or that place. Again, imho.
As I posted last week, elsewhere, though it's almost amusing to watch Mossad slapping down Hez and Hamas leaders, there are few things more dangerous than rabid rats backed into the corner, so dismissing these reports and possibilities suggests a lack of well honed assessment skills. They ARE here, and they have NOTHING left to lose.
