This director died. This director apparently told one of the interviewees, ‘If you do hear that I died, please believe that it was not a suicide, no matter what you might hear.’ There is no truth in the media in Japan today. Johnson says this year is the worst in history. 10 times the normal number of stranding, and it could be 20 times normal by next week.

Thank you Doug for all this info. And yep....it's all being swept under the rug. I can't help but wonder tho', what good it would do to tell the truth?
What is the answer? And it's not only Fuku that's made this planet such a mess. It's everything. The air, land and see has been totally poisoned and contaminated by man. The average human is at fault as well. For not speaking up as these things became known. But as humans, we usually point the finger at everyone but ourselves.

Somebody needs to cut open a representative sample of all of these washed-up dead mammals and find out how many hot particles of cesium, plutonium, etc. are in their lungs and digestive tract.
Surely this is being done. And surely, if the radiation poisoning is significant enough to be the probable cause of the die-offs, the truth of situation could not be hidden Could scientists be silenced with threats?
It may not be strictly radiation poisoning. The mammals could have received just enough radiation from various sources so that their immune system malfunctions. And then they can not fight off the things that they normally do.
But still there should be hot particles in their bodies.

I no longer think the impact from Fukushima on the US West Coast are "marginal" at this point. We have been drinking radioactive dairy products, tap water up here in Portland, plus other radiation exposure for nearly four years. The health impact is starting, although I personally think it will take antother decade or so before the total, complete, and full genetic impact is seen by people.
Still, we are now reaching a critical mass where the health impact is so clear the powers that be are losing the ability to spin it. Totally ignoring Fukushima only works for so long in my opinion. I also think, in the spirit, something very bad is going to happen related to Fukushima. The first reason is we are now at the four year mark. I think a lot of the physical infrastructure, the pipes, the concrete is about to reach physical failure status. I also think the fact August 2015 is the 70th anniversary of the nuclear strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki has profound spiritual significance. It may be that August 2015 is when the USA, which dropped the nukes, will be totally radiated from Fukushima in a kind of karmic echo. Bottom line, Fukushima is going to continue to spew radiation for hundreds/thousands of years into the future.

You touch on a sensitive subject that I've considered for decades. I do believe that the current spate of West Coast marine life deaths are related to Fukushima, but it goes waaay beyond that. What you suggest by saying, "cut open a representative sample of all of these washed-up dead mammals and find out how many hot particles of cesium, plutonium, etc. are in their lungs and digestive tract" is a radiological autopsy. These are difficult and expensive to do for reasons I'll explain shortly, but I'd like to see them done on representative groups of human victims! A lot of people think that the Radiation Age began in 1945 with the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The truth is that the Radiation Age began around the turn of the last century with the large scale mining of uranium for radium extraction. By the start of World War 1 this was an established and booming industry. Cancer rates began to skyrocket in the WWI era and modern researchers have attributed this to widespread cigarette smoking amongst the troops. I have little doubt that this is part of the story, yet I also suspect that the other part of the story, the unprecedented exposure of both civilians and military personnel to radionuclides has been intentionally suppressed. World War II's Manhatten Project and the subsequent Cold War, with both the US and Soviets producing massive amounts of radionuclides and conducting atmospheric nuclear testing, brought the exposures to unbelievable levels. I believe that radiological autopsies would prove that huge numbers of deaths in the 20th Century (and through today) were due to radiation exposure.
The problem with radiological autopsies is that they are very difficult to perform and are very expensive. The reason for this is that body tissues are self-shielding. IOW when a radioactive particle enters the body, the body then shields it from outside detection. The human body is made up of mostly water and water is an excellent radiation attenuator. Additionally, alpha particles are stopped by a thin sheet of paper. You can imagine how little body tissue would be required to stop them (and thus defeat detection). Beta particles are more penetrating, but it still doesn't require great thicknesses of body tissue to defeat them, as well. Gamma rays are the most penetrating, but gamma rays are produced in different energies with some being more penetrating than others. The thickness of a human body can attenuate many of them. There are indirect methods of estimating internal exposures, such as through the use of urine tests, but these methods are not accurate in estimating long-ago exposures. One could puree an entire human body - to include all bones - and then carefully scan the residue as it was spread very thinly on an inspection surface for accurate measurements, but a you can imagine this would be both expensive and cause an uproar amongst the victim's family. This method has been used on animals, but again, is extremely expensive. In any case, there is no pressing desire on the part of TPTB to do this, much less allow the public to see the results!
Before I go, you should also understand that radiation exposure causes a great many diseases beside the cancers that we are all familiar with. There is a lot of solid research connecting ailments such as heart disease, obesity and diabetes (and many others) to radiation exposure. I can assure you that corporate America, the military and foreign nuclear powers have absolutely no interest in being seen as responsible - much less liable for - even a small fraction of these incidents of disease!

It brings up things I'd never thought of---
for example, I'd thought---since they were FAR away from me---that all the testing done at the Nevada testing grounds, though it 'may' have affected folks who live out THERE, would have no effect on me here on the east coast.
However, I was a bit worried about Oak Hill, Tennessee---which I did not even REALIZE WAS THE SITE where the nuclear bomb was BUILT---I'd always assumed it was built in Manhattan because it was CALLED the "Manhattan Project"---but no, it was right here in practically my own backyard.
And what your article made me think of, was this---
the mining of uranium--for radium----
and the fact that the radiation spreads through the food chain, becoming ever-more CONCENTRATED the higher you go---
made me just "wonder"---
how 'careful' were they, really, with the uranium they mined 100 years ago?
Especially when even the SCIENTISTS who worked with the substance (the Curies, for instance) had NO IDEA how truly dangerous it was, much LESS the grunt-miners who were working with it?
Is it possible--is it not even LIKELY---some miner brought HOME a bit of the ore to show his wife -- and CHILDREN--- how neat it was that it glowed in the dark?
Is it possible that whatever contamination the miners spread around--or even the mining operation itself---spread unknown amounts of contamination all over the place---in buildings, in garden produce, in their own human waste that went into the ground (privvies, 100 years ago) and could have subsequently affected ground water? What if their children, after playing with this neat little glowing rock, lost it in the yard or the garden? And then plants grew in that area, that were eaten by animals that were eventually eaten by humans? (top-of-the-food-chain again).
I'd often wondered why cancers seemed to suddenly spike in the late 19th and 20th centuries, when for centuries prior they were rare, and had always assumed it was the environmental toxins of the industrial revolution reaching their full height in the 20th century corporate industrial environment, along with processed food, pesticides, smoking and the more sedentary lifestyle that became the norm as people moved off the farms and to factory and office jobs in the cities.
It never occurred to me--because I never knew---that a widespread dissemination of radioactive materials had already been taking place even that early---that was spreading invisible poison throughout our world.
It's interesting how Satan seems to have been given permission to fully pull out ALL stops in his attack on mankind and on God JUST AS THE 20th CENTURY was beginning, with the "poisons" he introduced, both in false, evil philosophies and now--possibly---what you brought up:
- In the political realm: Karl Marx (communism)
- In the economic realm: John Maynard Keynes (Kenesian economics)
- In the educational realm: John Dewey ("progressive" education and teachers as "change-agents")
- In the religious realm: the "School of Higher Criticism" that denied the Bible's veracity & questioned God's reality
- In the scientific realm: John Darwin (evolution and an atheistic view of the universe's origins)
- In the psychological realm: Sigmund Freud (psychoanalysis, based on seeing man not as a fallen, sinful creature created in god's image but as totally motivated only by sexual, physical, and chemical stimuli)
- In the social realm: Margaret Sanger (proponent of eugenics, abortion, and an utter repudiation of the Biblical model for the family and male/female/child relationships)
and now---
in the physical realm itself: the release of a poison / toxin which cannot be eradicated, and for which there is neither defense nor cure

So typical. The ABC did an OK piece on Fuku and now I just heard an interview on the same station promoting the so-called new nuclear technology that will enable all the accumulated nuke waste to be turned into a fuel source for 500yrs. Gosh, well that's alright then, isn't it?
We can just forget allll about the death and disease that we've already caused because we've found a new, bright, shiny, object for us look at and be amazed by. Just like the first set of promises made by the chuckle-heads that brought us 'Atoms for Peace'.
Promises to hold us all in a thrall of expectation that all will be well. Only a psychopath can look at the dire state of this industry, only focus on a small part of the overall waste stream, and disregard the rest as unimportant.
Lot of psychopaths in the nuke industry, I'd have to venture.

Fukushima is Japan’s and the world’s radiation nightmare that will not go away in our lifetimes nor our children’s or grandchildren’s. The Fukushima nuclear power plant is hemorrhaging radioactive toxic waste into the ocean and though we are told not to panic, nor even to be casually concerned, the situation is dangerous and critical to future life on earth.
Ever since March 11, 2011, the damaged plant has been leaking tremendous amounts of radiation. Now Tepco, the operator of the damaged facility, says they have recorded spikes between 50-70 times above average readings in the gutters that pour water into a nearby bay.
The Nuclear Regulation Authority said February 22, 2015, that an alarm went off at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant signaling high radioactivity levels in drainage ditches. According to the NRA and plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co., the first alarm sounded at around 10 a.m., and another alarm 10 minutes later indicated much higher levels.
The levels of beta ray-emitting substances, such as strontium-90, measured 5,050 to 7,230 becquerels per liter of water between 10:20 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. Tepco requires radioactivity levels of groundwater at the plant discharged into the sea to remain below 5 becquerels. However, it was revealed that Tepco knew about the problem all the way back in May of last year and did not report it.
An official at the plant apologized, saying that, “the trust of the people in Fukushima is the most important thing,” and that “we’ve been working with that in mind, but unfortunately, we have damaged that trust this time,” according to Digital Journal. The situation at Fukushima is obviously much worse than authorities are leading us to believe. Newsweek reported on the continuing disaster saying, “The fallout from the Fukushima disaster is far from over. A staggering number of accidents has plagued the plant.”
Strontium mimics calcium making it extremely dangerous to all life forms once it is absorbed. Local, national and international fury once again rises against TEPCO as this latest indication that the crisis at the plant is far from under control. Japan’s top government spokesperson reiterated the government’s long-standing mantra, “The situation is completely under control. Any negative impact of radioactive water on the environment is completely blocked.” TEPCO was aware since April of last year and did nothing to prevent contaminated water from leaking directly out to sea.

Scientists are able to actually measure what they say are very low levels of radiation in the ocean that are now reaching the west coast of North America. Their instruments read the radiation and so can the cells in a person’s body. We are told not to worry and certainly not to panic. In fact, nuclear power plants are still promoted as safe even though they offer potential hell to life. Prince William was recently near Fukushima juggling balls for the children, eating locally produced foods and planting trees, promoting the safety of the area and that is understandable considering how deeply the royal family is into the nuclear industry.
Ken Buesseler, a senior scientist at The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution said, "I certainly wouldn’t discourage people from swimming or eating fish from the Pacific because of levels that low. It sounds scary because it’s radioactivity, it’s Fukushima and it’s detectable.” Only problem is if there is any strontium in the fish one could get leukemia!
Low Levels of Radiation are Extremely Dangerous
There has long been public concern about risks from low-level radiation, which is understandable in light of the fact that you may be exposed and yet never know it. Dr. Boyd Haley, the ex-chairman of the chemistry department from Kentucky University warns us that even low levels are dangerous and should be everyone’s concern. It is widely understood that there is no ‘safe’ level of radioactivity. Any amount can kill. The more radioactivity, the greater the impacts. As the National Council on Radiation Protection has declared: "Every increment of radiation exposure produces an incremental increase in the risk of cancer."
On February 18, 2014, the Aichi Prefectural Police arrested a construction firm executive for sending a 15-year-old boy to help clean up radioactive waste outside the wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant. That executive, the press and governmental agencies around the world all agree that the situation should not be of concern. So do not bother with iodine or anything else like sodium bicarbonate, which both are inexpensive ways to protect oneself and one’s children from radioactive contamination.

A radiation plume from the March, 2011 nuclear accident in Fukushima, Japan took about 2.1 years to travel via ocean currents and ultimately cross the waters of the Pacific Ocean to reach the shores of North America. That is according to to a study at the end of 2014 (December 29) by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
For the first time since the catastrophic 2011 earthquake, Japan has been rocked with a series of stronger tremors, with two 6.0+ stronger quakes recorded in February 2015. It is unclear if the new leaks are directly related to the recent surge in tectonic activity. RT News said that contamination levels fell quickly, but still measured 10 to 20 times more than prior to the leak.
Death is Coming
The year is 2015 and already “It’s like a scene from a horror movie along the West Coast. “We’re seeing all sorts of mysterious goings-on.” “There is no food out there.” Scientists cannot figure out why there is mass starvation of seabirds. Sardines and crayfish have disappeared from the Pacific Ocean; they have just vanished. Marine mammals are starving, struggling to survive on the West Coast. Reports are coming in up and down the coast of a mysterious surge in sick marine mammals infested with parasites, and being extremely emaciated.
At Fukushima where 4 reactors are still out of control and spewing radiation many think this has caused the death in the Pacific of thousands of baby sea lions on the California coast, and 500 navy soldiers are still suffering from radiation poisoning after responding to the earlier Fukushima disaster. We also have reports that West Coast orca whales are experiencing extremely high infant mortality rates as radiation from Fukushima drifts across the ocean. An adult killer whale weighing up to 5,000 kilograms can eat 5% of its body weight, or 250 kilograms of fish, per day. Researchers are also alarmed by ‘puzzling’ changes in orca’s behavior.
As far south as Peru dolphins and sea lions were found dead but no reliable explanations are given. Governments everywhere refuse to make any connection between the deaths and Fukushima. In fact, officially no one has died from radiation from Fukushima. Yet we find scientists saying that right after the accident death rates of infants increased in North America. This is of course adamantly denied by all devotees of nuclear energy.
Jiřina Vitázková and Errico Cazzoli wrote, “The results with respect to health effects show that within 80 years the number of victims of the Fukushima disaster can be expected to be at least in the range of 10,000 to 300,000 people in terms of deaths due to infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, genetic diseases and cancers; and about the same number of sicknesses/syndromes needing prolonged hospitalization and health care are expected to occur. This estimate accounts only for the population already living at the time of the accident. A comparable number of excess deaths and sicknesses may be expected in the population that will be born in the period. In addition to these, more than 100,000 excess still-births and a comparable or larger number of excess children born with genetic deformations (e.g. Down syndrome) are expected.”
The toxic substances such as Tritium, Cesium, Plutonium and Strontium are being carried everywhere by winds, rain and ocean currents, entering the food chain through seaweed and seafood, building up high levels of toxicity in the fish – and humans – at the top end of the consumption chain.
It is the contention of this book that all levels of radiation are threatening. When levels increase, even by small amounts, we humans, and all the life around us will suffer from increasing cancer rates thus demanding that doctors learn and teach their patients to take defensive measures. We live in a contaminated world (chemical, heavy metal and radiation) that is getting more toxic day by day. I calculate that 20 tons of mercury are put into the air by all the coal fire plants in the world but government officials obsess only with carbon dioxide, a safe necessary gas that is not bringing warming to our world.
Doctors, who themselves expose their patients to radiation tests and treatments have to calculate the rising risks of combined radiation exposure. Eco Watch lists fifty reasons that we should not trust our governments nor the press, and why we should fear the worst from Fukushima.
Projecting a death toll of more than a million from the radioactivity released from Fukushima is Dr. Chris Busby, scientific secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk who has been a professor at a number of universities. "Fukushima is still boiling radionuclides all over Japan", he said. "Chernobyl went up in one go. So Fukushima is worse."
Dr. Helen Caldicott, a founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility, told a symposium on ‘The Medical Implications of Fukushima’ said, "The accident is enormous in its medical implications. It will induce an epidemic of cancer as people inhale the radioactive elements, eat radioactive vegetables, rice and meat, and drink radioactive milk and teas. As radiation from ocean contamination bio-accumulates up the food chain … radioactive fish will be caught thousands of miles from Japanese shores. As they are consumed, they will continue the cycle of contamination, proving that no matter where you are, all major nuclear accidents become local. The Fukushima disaster is not over and will never end. The radioactive fallout which remains toxic for hundreds to thousands of years covers large swaths of Japan will never be ‘cleaned up’ and will contaminate food, humans and animals virtually forever."

So what is the level of your tap water? Have you measured it? How far above the normal background level are you? Have you been measuring your levels?
I have a friend near portland, he hasn't seen any change from normal background. Maybe he is in a different area or something.

The answer is NO PUBLIC/GOVERNMENT RADIATION TESTING HAS BEEN DONE ON THE US WEST COAST I KNOW OF. I have not personally tested my own Portland tap water. I am 61 and honestly accept my fate.<G>
It is almost certain the incoming rain over the Pacific Ocean has had Fukushima radiation in it for almost four years now. Portland gets most, not all, of its tap water from rainwater trapped in the Bull Run Lake near Mount Hood. The gravity fed system was built over 100 years ago and requires no electricity to get the water to Portland.
I can safely "assume" I have been exposed to dairy products, tap water, and very likely "hot particles" from time to time since March of 2011. At any rate, there have been numerous private studies done and posted on the Internet showing radiation. There is also the objective FACTS related to species death.
The spin control and deceit are working well for the government and media. I just post this stuff from what I personally consider to be reliable web sites. I do not try to prove it for the simple reason it is pointless to do so. The powers that be have been lying about the results of hundreds of private tests for four year. This isn't going to change in my opinion. From a survival standpoint, well how do you prepare for this on the personal level. The answer is you really can't, unless you go the multimillion dollar underground bunker like Tom Cruise or whoever. We are being killed off. I am just enjoying life as I wait to eventually die. <G>

The only logical thing causing this level of environmental damage is four years of being exposed to the toxic radiation being released by Fukushima. I am wondering at what point, possibly the physical vanishing of nearly all sea life from the US West Coast, people will start to accept what Doomer Doug has been saying for the last four years?

Thank you, D. Doug. I suppose there are sites where people post the results from their private testing, maybe I'll look one of these days. I'm south of you on the other end of the state, we have well water from a 100 ft well, so our water might not have any radioactive stuff in it, but if it's the rain, it's everywhere anyway.
I'm around your age and don't have too many years left in the mortal coil; when the door on this life closes, another door opens, so the "adventure" doesn't end, anyway.

Thanks, D.D., for continuing to track the Fukushima phenomena. MSM in the East, at least, has been silent on radiation developments from Fukushima. Whenever I mention the matter with friends, they act as if they thought everything had cooled down there, and this was all old news.
Unfortunately for all of us it is NOT old news, and the news they we are getting is growing worse. Woe is us!

I think Fukushima is just going to simmer away until something highly visible, catastrophic and explosive happens. The media censorship, denial and lies will continue until the true nature of the damage becomes undeniable. There are clearly many, many ecological, biological, and chemical impacts happening right now to dead silence.

SO all your pontificating and you don't even bother to buy or borrow a dosimeter or a geiger counter to verify that what you are stating is true?
I mean, actually, you may be right. I have no doubt that at some point there will be effects of all that radioiactive water being dumped into the Pacific will eventually affect you folks on the West Coast.
But you are stating things that YOU HAVEN'T MEASURED. (Which comes close to making you a liar). Unless you can show that there is an increase in background radiation, then you don't have any evidence to back up what YOU PERSONALLY HAVE STATED AS A FACT.
Got numbers? Or are you just pushing "Doom Porn" for those who are eager to die?
Seriously, Dude, if you are going to state that your food, water and air are contaminated, at least bother to buy a geiger counter and measure the (supposed) contamination. Shane has calibrated ones for sale at KI4U. You can measure even very small amounts of radiation with them.
Otherwise you are just pontificating unproven (and doubtful) bullshit.

Okay guys. Time out. Since March, 2011 I've considered getting a counter but three things kept me from doing it. One is cost for a good one--and which one I couldn't decide. Another is lack of training. I mean there's the background levels and stuff. I really don't know how to use one. And third, what difference would it make for me? I mean, aside from expecting cancer and disease, what can I do about it? Who is going to listen to an old lady? Especially one that doesn't know much and is basically separated from the scientific community. The politics are against me. So that is why I don't have any numbers today.

I am way past the arguing about the radiation testing phase, gang. I don't have to "prove" anything at this point. Fukushima is the greatest single disaster in human history. Fukushima is spewing VAST AMOUNTS OF TOXIC RADIATION INTO THE AIR, THE PACIFIC OCEAN AND ALL OVER PLANET EARTH. The amounts, farcical as they are, openly admitted by TEPCO are so far beyond safe for DNA exposure it no longer matters. I have seen dozens of private reports, along with even a few government "official ones" indicating the massive radiation amounts now in play. If you want detail, go to rense.com or the many links I have posted here. The links have repeatedly said radiation exposure is all over the Northern Hemisphere, especially the US West Coast. Japan, well Japan is a dead zone without all the zombies.
I also think you don't need to test for radiation on the West Coast when I have posted DOZENS of stories/links about massive species die offs since 2011. You don't need to test for radiation when you have mass die offs, species after species and year after year.

Still, given the die offs, the known radiation releases, the jet stream movement I can say with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY WITH NO TESTING AT ALL I HAVE BEEN DRINKING RADIOACTIVE RAINWATER FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS. And you know, so what. Fukushima spews radiation. Check. Radiation goes over the Pacific in the jetstream and falls as rainwater into Bull Run. Check. I drink it. Check
