These folks must like it when officials tell them what to do, how to live, and where they can spend their income IF they still have jobs. Lets see when the tax to pay for this amounts to a thousand dollars per month for a family of four, or IRS seizures of property and homes when they dont have that fifteen hundred dollars.........

Poll shows Obama won’t be re-elected in 2012 – updated

400px-Obama_Portrait_2006-200x300.jpg
It’s not scientific, but does represent the opinion of a large and fairly diverse group of Americans.
A poll on the social networking site Facebook shows the following results from (at the time) more than 423,000 participants answering the question, “Will you vote for Obama in 2012”?

The results:
Yes = 101,881 (24.0%)
No = 301,549 (71.2%)
Undecided = 20,306 (4.8%)

By a margin of nearly three-to-one, at this point in time Americans are not inclined to re-elect Barack Obama when his first term in up in 2012.
That’s good news, if the country survives until 2012.
Update: Things have not improved for the president, in terms of his possible re-election. He might take some solace in the fact that this statistically relevant poll has better numbers than the unscientific Facebook poll cited earlier, it still shows that if the election were held today, he would lose, and he would lose by a slightly larger margin than he won by in 2008.
The poll conducted by CNN and Opinion Research Corporation from February 12 – 15 of 954 registered voters nationwide (the most recent poll available on the question) show the president losing by 8 points, 52% to 44%, with a margin of error of plus/minus 3 %.
The election is still a long way off, and things can certainly change. But this is good news at this point.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 28% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16.

The President enjoyed a modest bounce in the polls following the passage of health care legislation last week. However, his Approval Index rating is now back to where it was last Sunday, just before the House voted in favor of his health care plan. All the bouncing of the past week has come among Democrats. There has been virtually no change in the opinions of Republicans and unaffiliated voters.

While many if official Washington consider the Tea Party movement to be a fringe element of society, voters across the nation feel closer to the Tea Party than to Congress. Voters also tend to see the Tea Party Members as better informed and more ethical than Congress.

CBS News Poll analysis by the CBS News Polling Unit: Sarah Dutton, Jennifer De Pinto, Fred Backus and Anthony Salvanto.

Last week, President Obama signed historic health care reform legislation into law -- but his legislative success doesn't seem to have helped his image with the American public.
The latest CBS News Poll, conducted between March 29 and April 1, found Americans unhappier than ever with Mr. Obama's handling of health care - and still worried about the state of the economy.
President Obama's overall job approval rating has fallen to an all-time low of 44 percent, down five points from late March, just before the health bill's passage in the House of Representatives. It's down 24 points since his all-time high last April. Forty-one percent of those polled said they disapproved of the president's performance.
More results from this CBS News Poll will be released in Friday's broadcast of the Evening News with Katie Couric, which airs at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
When it comes to health care, the President's approval rating is even lower -- and is also a new all-time low. Only 34 percent approved, while 55 percent said they disapproved.
Americans are still worried about the economy, with 84 percent telling CBS they thought it was still in bad condition. However, even that high number represents an improvement: nine in ten thought the economy was bad during the last half of 2008 and at the beginning of 2009, when Mr. Obama assumed the Presidency.
Concern about job loss remains high; slightly more Americans now (35 percent) than in February (31 percent) were "very concerned" that someone in their household would lose a job. Nearly six in ten Americans said they were at least "somewhat concerned" about a job loss.
As has often been the case, lower-income Americans tend to be the most concerned about job loss.
This concern is reflected in yet another low approval rating -- this time for the President's handling of the economy. Just 42 percent said they approved of how President Obama is handling the economy, only one point above January's all-time low. Half of the public disapproves.
