Asians do not think like Americans. They think nothing of lying and believe whatever it takes to win over someone else. A company I do business with pulled out of Taiwan because the integrity of the entire company was going downhill because of their lack of integrity.

Another new 3 Gorges video that indicates the floodgates were running wide open over the weekend and that there was internal leakage and "an acceptable displacement (movement) of the dam by 26mm"

Over an inch of displacement is acceptable? Last year they were saying "a few millimeters of displacement" was within limits. Now it's over an inch. Next month I suppose a foot of movement will be okay and by the end of the summer having parts of the dam "displaced" by a mile or two won't be any cause for concern.

All is well, comrade peasant. Wear your mask and get in line for the newest vaccine. Pay no attention to the water up to your knees.

Basically, the rainy season is on again and there is more extreme flooding up above the dam, who knows if it will overtop the dam or not when it gets that far? I don't...
