As usual Timebomb shines in any potential crisis. I keep telling myself China won't do a shoot down of piglosi's plane. Maybe if I keep saying long enough I will believe it. :hpbd:
Isn't it the 100th birthday of the Chinese Army or something?
I assume any plaf planes would show up on the screen assuming they had their transponders on?

Doubtful anything will happen. then again Putin had stated there were red lines not to cross, and shelling to stop. then for some reason, perhaps to disrupt a western invasion on the Donbas. and then things changed.....

If China does anything it will be a ecomonic/shipping related, as that has plausible deniability written all over it into the minds of the sheeple.

Its mission is to rapidly deploy to execute combatant commander directed recovery operations to austere airfields and denied territory for expeditionary, all weather personnel recovery operations to include airdrop, airland, helicopter air-to-air refueling, and forward area ground refueling missions. When tasked, the aircraft also conducts humanitarian assistance operations, disaster response, security cooperation/aviation advisory, emergency aeromedical evacuation, and noncombatant evacuation operations.

Per Taiwan's TVBS - Taiwanese forces on the western islands have entered a state of "combat standby" or "Stage II of combat readiness." The last time this occurred was during the Third Taiwan Strait Crisis.

That's the wrong question IMHO.
Will China be in control of Taiwan in 30 days?
The world pie got split up in different slices some time ago.
The west's piece of influence got smaller.

8 F-15s with tanker support is a start. I'd expect another eight, either F-15s or F-22s along with AWACS support as well....
