All of you who think what the cops did is somehow OK are disgusting. How would you like it if that was your grandpa or grandfather? Pig cops are lucky they didn’t murder this poor old man. Even more sickening is them just walking right over him.
You have a reading comprehension problem. Pity!

I muse that now days cops are more like nannies who have too enforce stupid laws. Laws like the seatbelt laws. Also people call them for stupid things.

And that makes them creeps by proxy. Also they have to only harass, ticket and enforce these stupid laws on only citizens with their hands tied. And if I had to be a nannie cop that would really piss me off and make me not nice.

I couldn't give a ticket/fine to tax payers or poor people for not having a license, insurance, a seatbelt, or even a ticket for speeding if they was safe about it. Etc..

Anyway it doesn't surprise me and after real life experiences of seeing jock cops beat up and harass long hair family and friends, above is the only excuse I can make for arsehole cops.

They should be peace keepers and not law enforcers I know that!

Ever have an accident with someone that didn’t have license. Registration or insurance? If you don’t have collision and health insurance. Enjoy paying. My sister has a disabling injury from an uninsured motorist. She’s disabled at 40 years old

With your lack of respect to the 1st Amendment of the constitution perhaps YOU belong in a different country......you have the wrong attitude.....this is a free nation where we have freedom of speech and the right to not be brutalized by police. The way your comments appear it seems you would enjoy Nazi Germany.

You really are clueless....which means you must be a democrat....I hate democrats.

Thanks to the democrats the Constitution no longer has any meaning....once us trump voters pass on....America as we know it will cease to be...I'm just trying to slow that evolution down a little....LOL.

All I know of this is the video. I can't shoot somebody for stealing my car, as much as I want to. The force was excessive, and the fact they appeared to just keep walking in inexcusable.

Buffalo Officials Duped By Professional Antifa Provocateur – Arrest and Charge Two Police Officers – Righteous Police Team Stand Together and Walk Out

Posted on June 6, 2020
by sundance

Martin Gugino is a 75-year-old professional agitator and Antifa provocateur who brags on his blog about the number of times he can get arrested and escape prosecution. Gugino’s Twitter Account is also filled with anti-cop sentiment [SEE HERE].
Last Thursday Gugino traveled from his home in Amherst, New York, to Buffalo to agitate a protest crowd.

During his effort Gugino was attempting to capture the radio communications signature of Buffalo police officers. CTH noted what he was attempting on Thursday night as soon as the now viral video was being used by media to sell a police brutality narrative. [Thread Here] Today, a more clear video has emerged that shows exactly what he was attempting.

In this slow motion video, you will see Gugino using a phone as a capture scanner. You might have heard the term “skimming”; it’s essentially the same. Watch him use his right hand to first scan the mic of officer one (top left of chest). Then Gugino moves his hand to the communications belt of the second officer. WATCH CLOSELY:

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CubkyIzygQ

33 seconds

The capture of communications signals [explained in detail here] is a method of police tracking used by Antifa to monitor the location of police. In some cases the more high tech capture software can even decipher communication encryption allowing the professional agitators to block (black-out), jam, or interfere with police communication.

Unfortunately in the modern era the professional agitators have become very sophisticated and use technology to help create chaos. Their activity is highly coordinated, and as James O’Keefe has revealed in his undercover operations these professionals even stage events to manipulate public opinion.

When he was pushed away by the officers Gugino fell and presumably hit his head. As a consequence of the shove, the two officers were suspended and the Buffalo authorities have arrested and charged the two police officers. In a show of support the entire Buffalo police unit that makes up the Emergency Response Team resigned their position.

On Friday Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown admitted Gugino was a professional ‘agitator’ who tried to work up the crowd and had been asked to leave the area ‘numerous’ times.

However, despite the known ideology and intent of Mr. Gugino; and despite a more careful look at the video highlighting exactly what Gugino was attempting; the Buffalo authorities are frozen by political correctness and have now arrested and charged the two officers.
(Via Daily Mail) – Two Buffalo cops have been arrested and charged with second degree assault after they shoved a 75-year-old peace activist to the ground Thursday causing him to crack his head open on the sidewalk, as hundreds of colleagues gathered outside the city court in solidarity to cheer their release without bail.
Aaron Torgalski and Robert McCabe were each charged with one count of assault in the second degree in a court hearing Saturday morning over the shocking incident that left peaceful protester Martin Gugino in a ‘serious condition’ in hospital.
The cops were arraigned in a virtual court hearing where they both pleaded not guilty to the charges and the two cops hid from the view of the camera.
They each face up to seven years in prison if convicted of the class D felony. They were released without bail and will appear back in court on July 20.(read more)
It would appear Mr. Martin Gugino succeeded in his endeavor:

Well, since this is MY city, I guess it's time to chime in. Buffalo, NY has easily 95%+ of Police officers who are compassionate and well trained.

Here are the comments I wrote to my family and friends who are expats and live in other states.

"Unfortunately, I believe that if all 57 of the members of the department's Emergency Response Team resigned because of minor push to feeble elder, who shouldn't have been out there in the first place. He had the ability to back away and refused.

Obviously, after two officers were suspended without pay for pushing him, the other 55 officers said, 'enough is enough'.

How are they supposed to do there job to keep the peace, and then be confronted by someone, and not push them away while providing for the safety of the citizens of the community, and the people who live here?"

They all agreed with my sentiment. The more I find out about this aged man, the more I understand that's he's professional agitator. Karma's a bitch!

I have a Cousin and Nephew (who is also my Godson) who are Buffalo Police Officers. I spoke to both of them today, and they say this is overblown and the old gentleman was purposely attempting to incite the crowd.

That was his helmet.
I just saw that earlier today. and I do stand corrected.

And on that note, when I'm wrong. I say I'm wrong. I was suckered in by emotion, which doesn't usually happen to me. I did not follow my usual route of double and triple checking something to get the true story. That POS was up to no good and needs to pay a price for it. I hope that the concussion he got was real and it screws up his head for the rest of his days on this earth. I learned something from this. Agitators like Gucino need to be identified, the information shared with everyone who may come in contact with said agitator and a plan put in place to remove the shitebag from the scene in a quick and professional manner. In other words the old bastard ends up not knowing what shitestorm hit him when he's tossed into the paddywagon. No need to do a fandango with a billy club on his head, just lock his ass up and let him pay the money to bail out, Based on what I've seen on subsequent videos, the two cops need to be absolved of all charges. And I'm beyond PISSED that i was suckered into believing the old prick. I hope his azzhole rots from the inside out.

Thanks for chiming in. Always good to hear from someone who has some first-hand perspective to give.

I heard from someone today that it's possible that even the blood we see underneath his head was a fake. You can get packets of stuff like that online.

So, is the consensus that ya'll want to defund the police?

Not me. Although would love to see the cops just do peace keeping duties. And stop being law enforcers, on USAmerican citizens only, while they let illegals get away with most everything. Illegals come to the USA and they have more rights than citizens!

If in my AO, they do defund cops, I'm ready are you?

While it's possible, I don't think it's probable. If you watch the video from the vantage point of across the street, that old dude hit his head HARD. And head wounds tend to bleed a LOT. I didn't see blood coming out of his ear. Although there was a dark blotch in his ear, I didn't see the telltale ribbon of blood that would have run along the outer edge of his ear. I think the dark blotch was either a hearing aid or some type of listening device. I think he got more than he bargained for, really did hit his head, causing a good sized gash requiring stitches, and is now relishing the fact that the MSM is lauding him as the poor old victim in this ordeal. While I really wish it hadn't happened due to even more negative publicity in an already volatile situation, he pretty much got less than he deserved.

This smuck bled too quickly. It seemed instant and in my experience it takes a little bit of time to start. If it was real-he would have been dead on site. I also think the thudding sound was not his head, but was rather his helmet. He did not wear it because he intended to use it for sound effect. Notice that the video conveniently does not show the moment of his impact on pavement. I think the two arrested officers will be paid a good deal of $$ from the city of Buffalo. They did nothing wrong.

Let’s see here. 10,000 “demonstrators” and 300 cops. Maybe they should set up a bunch of “feelz kiosks”, and have long talks with the “disgruntled citizens.” That ought to take about a week.

And you lack perspective. Get your ass out into one of these “demonstrations” and report back.

These ain’t the days of Adam-12 anymore. Maybe you don’t understand that Mr. Biden...

(Disclaimer: im not for or against the cops or old man in this thread. Just making a couple points.)

You can clearly see the blood running out of his ear in one of the videos, it doesn't appear to be fake to me. Also, there could have been Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) but I'd have had to get some on my gloved fingers to test.

If it feels like slick 50 rubbing it between two fingers, CSF

I haven't heard the final diagnosis, only that he survived, he's lucky.

The diagnosis was "mild concussion". Seems incompatible with a brain bleed...

Just watched that fall from a side shot, full focus on the guy. He went down, knee bent, straight to his butt, then head back and colliding. After several steps. He didn't even attempt to twist to catch himself or put his hands back.
That was a deliberate staged fall, folks.

Watch closely, it's in the first few seconds. It's identical on broadcasts from several stations but this video is being buried. Took me many pages of searching to find it.

Watch what he was doing in slow motion. He was obstructing the officers waving a phone (?)picking up their info. Don’t you think he was told to stop? He didn’t. A fellow officers comes up to defend the other officers. HE instigated the situation. The cops had a few seconds to assess if he had a weapon or not that he was waving in front of them. He’s lucky he didn’t get a bullet. 34 seconds.

I feel much the same.

I am not among the hordes of INTJ's on the board. I tested out as ISTJ-A which means I have a little bit of emotional thinking in me... Not an excuse but it explains why I let my usual rational/fact based decisions get a hold of me. Glad there was a few folks here willing to offer some tough love and some much needed facts that I did not have at my disposal when I typed my opinion.

If I said harsh things, I was wrong. It's a damned shame that we are in the midst of such evil that willfully uses 75 year old men to make us question our belief system.

I'm out.

What is going on in America today is in higher hands than me and I think America has a meeting with destiny.

More.

Faster.

I see that they arrested the two police officers for felony assault on this 75 year old.

Last I knew intent was a requirement for that criminal charge. I watched the video
several times and don't see any intent on the officer's part. It was not the greatest
police work, but in no way was it an assault. The 75 year old placed himself in harms way.
The police should have handled it in a more professional matter, but to milk a criminal charge,
I really don't see it. anyway a criminal charge is way over the top on this one, it lacks any
common sense on the prosecution side. I figured this would go to a letter of reprimand or three days
off, but I don't see this charge even coming close to the beyond a reasonable doubt burden of proof.

It really is open season on police. Police will be racing to the exit in this profession.

Communities will have to double or triple the pay for police officers to keep them.
Communities or officers will need to get a separate liability insurance policy on each officer but also
some sort of guaranteed income policy on each officer. This would be over and above what the cities/counties
currently have.

This is one profession that is changing daily.
