mbabulldog, I'm less concerned about Denver, and more worried about what we might see nationwide.
It would be stupid to start a riot with the kind of security set up at the convention itself. I'm thinking groups may just take it upon themselves to "voice" their displeasure at the event in other cities or areas around the USA.
I've just seen too many quotes in too many places online about "whats going to go down" if Obama isn't given the nomination.
I would also be really shocked if Hillary is given the nomination.. but it certainly is something to think about.
Have plans folks.. be ready. Nothing may happen, or we could see the LA riots only nationwide in many many cities across this country.

what we have seen is Obama kick Hillary to the curb cuz its become HIS parade and its all about HIM. He used Hillary to get to the top and now has discarded her.
He continues to PROVE he has no ability to integrate others into his universe. Has no loyalty.
What we have seen Hillary do is everything she can for the Democratic Party and to hold the organization together. She is exhibiting more leadership and nurturing abilities and is acting First Class.
This renews my hope that Obama and Hillery can finally and completely destroy each other's political careers once and for all time.

Check your ammo supply and keep the 'protection devices' clean & ready when the dems' convention starts. Wouldn't hurt to have an extra fire extinguisher or 2 either.

This is a Demmie drippy love fest thread and it's just gross.
Neither of them are on option, I hope the Demmies do us all a favor and come up with a none of the above option for voting.
I thought Bill was the first black president, does this mean there is a flick of the tarbrush in his genealogy, presumably Obama has been chosen by the PTB for whatever reason, can't imagine her coming back

If O man is not the nominee the cities will toast. I am not talking the kind of glassware kind either. The O man is MLK, JFK, RFK, Jesse, and all the rest rolled into one. He is even Jesus to some. Problem is, the O man is on his own planet. What a mess!
I think the answer is that the Clintons and Obamas should form a menage a quatre in the White House, then they can get up to what they like politically and sexually

I fully expect the decision to happen in the House. You think that KOS/Moveon.org/et al have been strident about "selected not elected" with GW, WAIT until the House gets to choose and finds that the 2 strongest Dems end up making the Republican (and I don't think it'll be McCain) the President by splitting the Dem Majority....
The smoke may take WEEKS to clear in the South and West....the only salvation is that it'll happen in the winter and riots at 30 below aren't well attended....

The old-line Dems gotta know that they will lose with Obama as nominee. With Hillary they have better than a 50-50 chance of winning.
I don't know who was in charge of the Obama runaway freight train...but certainly nobody who knows how to win an election. The nominations of Gore and Kerry were almost as bad and just as stupid. About time the adults took charge of the Democratic party again.
