EBOLA BIG DAY FOR DALLAS

I am amazed that people involved in the care of ebola patients feel free to travel the country and go on a cruise. I would isolate myself on a tent camping trip in Tionesta,PA. No contact. Food from home. Alone. They would think I am Pennsylvania Bigfoot. Of course I am a different generation-66 yrs.

The thought, that they might give us what we've been screaming for, has entered my mind too. Of course, they will do it in a way that definitely won't benefit anyone but them and their agenda.

I'm not against banning flights from Africa, but I just don't know what stopping all flights from Africa would accomplish. Can't the Africans just fly to somewhere in Europe, and then here?

Yes. The only thing that would come close to working and even then it probably wouldn't be 100% would be to handle it through the Visa system. Put EVERY West African visa on the "No Fly" list....and make sure it is honored by EVERY airport and airline that has international flights into the USA.

The guy is not likely to address anything publicly since he doesn't even show up to Ebola meetings.
  • He was appointed last Friday and missed the Friday meeting.
  • He missed the Saturday night meeting that was held after bammy finished golfing ... again.
  • Now he is going to be a no show at the House Oversight Committee meeting this coming Friday.

I state right up front I am not one who flies....anywhere. But I thought you had to have this thing called a passport and that it was stamped everywhere you have been? If so why can't they use that to determine where these people come from? maybe I just watch too much tv......

Yes, you're right. These folks who say, "The Africans could fly to EUROPE first!" must not get out much.

Passports show where you've been and where you're from.

If you go to the link, there's a photo of a man that was supposedly in quarantine with Louise Troh. Trying to collect as many photos as possible so they can be compared whenever the family finally makes a public appearance.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...s-eric-duncan-pictured-hours-given-clear.html

The fianceé of Thomas Eric Duncan has been left homeless and with nowhere to go after her apartment was taken away from her when it was decontaminated.

Louise Troh, 54, left quarantine yesterday, but it emerged that the mother and her family are living at a church conference center after losing her home and all her possessions.

'She doesn't have a permanent residence at this point,' said her pastor, George Mason of Wilshire Baptist Church. 'She's lost everything that she owns in the apartment. She lost the man she loves.'

The family is currently staying at the Catholic Conference & Formation Center outside of Dallas until they can find more permanent housing, ABC News have reported.

The apartment Ms Troh shared with Mr Duncan - the first man to be diagnosed with Ebola on U.S. soil - was sanitized in the days after he was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with the deadly virus.

Many of the family's possessions were seized and incinerated to destroy all viruses and pathogens.

Except for a few plastic bins filled with personal documents, photographs, trophies and a Bible, the Dallas apartment was stripped down to the carpeting and the contents were destroyed.

The city of Dallas announced yesterday that it is coordinating with a local church and donors to provide Ms Troh with funds to pay for six months of housing.

If West Africans can't fly to the U.S. through Europe, they can fly to Mexico and walk over. Maybe this is what the administration is worried about.

Of course, instead of sending our military to Africa, we could put them on our borders and not let anyone cross over by foot.

That's true, Betty Rose, but apparently (based on tonight's news, here in Atlanta, and interviews with passengers at Hartsfield) they are ONLY singling out to check those arriving DIRECTLY FROM FLIGHTS FROM AFRICA---and the passengers themselves they were interviewing were saying they also needed to check passengers arriving by "roundabout" routes such as going through Europe first.
