Wait a minute. Something isn't adding up. Didn't Texas Presbyterian convert their 24 bed ICU into an isolation ward?

If so, why the HELL are they moving the 2nd nurse? Or is that Isolation ward now full?

I'm thinking that the CDC finally figured out that the Texas hospital is incapable of handling this crisis.

I don't think so. That would be all over Facebook or tweets from anonymous workers at the hospital or their families friends.
They are hinting that the Dallas hospital has all it can handle with one. And they indicated that nurse #2 is showing symptoms and getting sick. Nurse #1 is staying because she "seems" to be doing better.

Most likely CYA cause Presbyterian is overwhelmed right now I am sure.

The radio is saying that the 'monitoring' is self monitoring. The significant other of the nurse was self monitoring and free to take a plane to and from Cleveland. CDC is saying that the monitoring program may become more robust.
The roof seems to be falling in.

Nina Pham is in good spirits, skyping with her mom.

ok, she is infected with ebola and is skying right away in the hospital but louise troh and the 3 boys cant pick up a phone or skye or email, they only communicate with the outside world thru a spokesperson........hmmmmm

I have a feeling the ONLY communicating THEY will be doing is through a ouija board---they are dead.

I can't sleep.

They tell us that we have to swap spit with Duncan to get Ebola, but only at the end when he's really contagious. It's not airborne.

But they wear spacesuits and put the high-profile patients into fish tanks with recirculated air.

But they have embassy-level discussions trying to get a HCW runner back and tell whole traveler families to self-quarantine just because they sat near a runner.

But they involve military police and shut down the Pentagon over some vomit.

But they trap thousands of people on a boat for a runner they say is just fine.

Panic Sex Lady sees the wrong kind of buts ...

More than 100 monitored for Ebola symptoms in Ohio

Health officials in Ohio are monitoring more than 100 people following the visit by a Dallas nurse who tested positive for Ebola shortly after returning to Texas from the Cleveland area.
'Health officials in Ohio are monitoring more than 100 people following the visit by a Dallas nurse who tested positive for Ebola shortly after returning to Texas from the Cleveland area.

Officials said Saturday that none of those being monitored are sick.

State officials previously said 16 people Amber Vinson had contact with were being monitored. Officials say the sharp increase is a result of the identification of airline passengers who flew with Vinson between Dallas and Cleveland and the identification of people who also visited the dress shop where her bridesmaids were trying on dresses.

Vinson's stepfather is quarantined in his home in the Akron suburb of Tallmadge. That is where Vinson stayed during her visit.

The stepfather is the only person in the state under such a restriction.

Per CNN, the TSA man that pat down Vinson is in self quarantine. I don't know if it was in Dallas or Cleveland .

And have they contacted the 2,380 people the TSA agent patted down *after* Vinson???

Because I don't think I have EVER seen a TSA agent change their blue gloves.

In all seriousness, the greatest risk is not to the TSA agent, but the people who came behind Nurse Vinson.
