It's a reasonable question. Eventually the war will end. I am just assuming Russia will win, which judging from the posts here, the majority also believe.

What are the results?

I will take swing.

The predominately russian parts of ukraine remain part of russia.
The rest of ukraine will be demilitarized. The russians will not accept minsk iii.

What happens to europe depends on the US or what they do with the US.

As long as the US is focused on regime change in russia there will be turmoil on russia's border and everywhere else that intersects with russian interests. That is simply the regime change playbook in action.

Then again if the US cannot keep their financial system propped up they will choose war sooner rather than later.
Can they keep the nuclear genie in the bottle?
My money is on they cannot.

Simplistic I know but time limits details. I guess the bottom line is do we trade with other humans for the things we want or do we kill'em all and take their shit? Sadly history shows more often than not enough humans choose kill'em all and take their shit to keep the fires burning century after century after century.

Oreally

Right from the start
When you put it that way, it is pretty damned scary and condemning. There is no doubt it is all being orchestrated and the murder of humanity is the goal. They are using a multi-pronged attack. War, vaxx, food GMO, toxic agriculture, bioengineered weapons, environmental hazards, geo-engineering/climate / high atmosphere chemical spraying, radio wave pollution, etc.

Some here don't see the big picture. Rah rah Ukraine... we will beat Putin back... slava Ukraine.... Russia is out of missile..... slava Ukraine army.... Russia has an internal revolution..... rah rah, uhhh... what happened to the Ukraine army?

I warned the propagandists that Ukraine would be wiped.... as in ALL their soldiers, citizen conscripts kidnapped off the streets, boys and old men, and now even women, being sent to the murder trenches. I still see clowns preaching how Ukraine is about to start a spring offensive. Damned idiots. They cheered while their own people are being decimated. Freekin sad.
Everyday I walk the streets of Lviv to go shopping or take care of business . I see lots and lots of young men not in the army . I don't see anyone and I haven't heard of anyone being kidnapped off the streets here.
I don't see any women being forcibly taken into the army although I have seen some women in uniform.

As far as I can tell talking to my friends my landlord and acquaintances and people that I encounter in restaurants and places like that the mood here is determined but grim. There is no sense of defeatism.
there is a sense of urgency to get it over with no matter what.

For one moment, forget about who you are, who you are with, where you are. Consider the facts. Russia has been goaded since 2014 by the CIA and Azov animals. Russian people of Ukraine have been tortured & murdered. Of course you did not see that either, but it happened. In peacetime more than 10,000 or your fellow citizens were murdered because they were a threat to the fascist gangs who were intent on purging the sub-human elements of Ukraine. Did that ever bother you? I suspect not. Never saw it, never knew anyone affected.

During that time, missile systems were installed in Poland, aimed at Russia. In 2004 NATO gathered up new members: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. In 2014, the CIA orchestrated the overthrow of your government. It was the last buffer Russia had. Here we are 8 years later. I think Russia was very patient and pleading NOT to continue pushing. But NATO (the devils controlling US & NATO) forces kept doing aggressive things. How many bioweapon labs were set up in Ukraine? Did you know about them right under your nose?

Russia has been pushed beyond reasonable limits. I don't blame them for a minute in their actions. They are fighting for their own survival. If they surrender, they fall under the Rothschild bankers, the BillGates depopulation crowd, the Klaus Schwab megalomaniac World Economic Forum tyrants, the George Soros Open Society psychopaths, the CIA monsters, the woke & broke homo LGBTQx confused sex and pedophile lunatics, the equity reparations panderers, the climate change destroyers, and more devils lined up for action.

War is being pushed by the NATO group. Banks are insolvent and the money system is about to hit their planned "reset". War will keep the idiot people from blaming the real culprits. And it will be nuclear.

I would fight to the death for my homeland. But that is not always the best answer. In the case of Ukraine, a surrender to Russia would have been the wisest thing to do. Russia just wanted a buffer zone and a place of peace. Ukraine would have benefited greatly. Instead, Ukraine has won: 230,000 dead, probably another 200,000+ severe casualties, destroyed infrastructure, wiped out economy, guilt for war crimes. You are living in a fat place and don't see any problems. How is that possible when I can see them from 4000 miles away?

I can agree with your first assessment.

I think the 2nd part of what Russia will do AFTER is:

It will go to an economic war. Not nuclear. China, India, Russia, and Africa will form an eastern trading block, cutting the west off. BTW it's already moving that way now. (with trade, pedro yen, silk road) The way to bring the west to its knees is cut the oil and natural gas, and since the west are the only ones going green, they will suffer. Even the US who can supply all their own needs will not do it.

Nobody but the west sees the US as it's savior, or doing things to "save the planet." Nobody but the west is going vegan. Even the back woods people in Africa are raising cows for food. Nobody but the west think men can have babies. Meaning while they grow their population, to be consumers the west does not.

And everybody but the west resents the west butting into their business, and telling them what to do.

If this is true I would look for Russia to move south to make sure the west pays and pays heavily for their interference in Ukraine by taking over the pipelines in the middle east. Down through Georgia.

The war will end sure-once NATO is dragged into it. Whether Russia "wins" is is a matter of dispute. "Win" is a rather broad term.

Estimate 250 MT of nuclear weapons dropped on Europe in general; primarily major cities. Figure 80-100MT dropped on Britain and around 400MT on the US.

The world will end up as a smoking cinder. One good thing though-all these goddamned Russian apologists will at least FINALLY shut up.

Is there home-grown African ammo, or are these old stocks from elsewhere? But I agree, this suggests the Russian pipeline is strained.

The South Africans have a fairly competent military industrial system. But they're the only ones in Africa that could produce anything approaching quality. The rest of Africa makes Chinese built stuff look like it was first rate quality.

Russia did pump a lot of arms and ammo into Africa over the years-if Russia wants that stuff back they are indeed in a hurt. Probably the largest supplies of arms and ammo would be in Angola, from that war in the '70's. That's old ammo and stored in less than ideal conditions.

100% practical - it turns out China originally used the same artillery & shells as Russia (152mm) but has since developed its own systems and now uses 155mm shells - they have MILLIONS of the older - still good - 152mm shells the Russians can use. China if nothing else knows business - I am sure the can make a deal - oil for shells??

CaryC, the economic war is already ramping up. Crossposted from the Deathburger thread....

Is all this financial turmoil planned and a side-effect of the Ukrainian/Russia mess? The Russian sanctions have cut them off from the Western banking system so they are isolated from the fallout. The BRICS countries seem to be working on their own financial system and are probably somewhat isolated too. Saudi Arabia announced that they didn't feel like helping Credit Suisse with any loans. Are we looking at a world where the Western powers are losing ground to the "other side", whoever that is? Right now it looks like the existing post WW2 power base is losing ground to the WEF and the BRICS. Is this being helped along by the Biden/China/WEF/Soros axis or is it just the way things go when a system gets too large and too established? It doesn't really matter to us peons. The end result is the same for us flunkies down here in the trenches.

Rubio says Russian jet collision with U.S. drone was "deliberate effort" and "direct test" of Biden administration

BY KERRY BREEN
MARCH 16, 2023 / 9:37 AM / CBS NEWS

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said Thursday that the recent Russian jet collision with a U.S. drone was a "deliberate effort" by Russia, which is testing boundaries with the United States.

"This wasn't some accident. It wasn't some harassment effort that, you know, went awry," Rubio said on "CBS Mornings."

"This is a direct test of the Biden administration," he said. "They're trying to see what the limits are, and it's a message of their displeasure. But more importantly, I think it's a test to see if we'll respond to it, if we'll continue to fly or if this causes us not to fly in that area anymore."

Rubio said the U.S. should not be cowed and should continue to send aircraft into the area.

"I think our response would be to fly more of these in that area and potentially have them escorted by U.S. fighter jets, who are manned and have the capability to respond," Rubio said, adding that flying unmanned drones for surveillance and reconnaissance purposes is "totally" in accordance with international law. "I think we should fly more of them, we shouldn't stop flying them and in many cases we should be prepared to scramble jets and respond if they are threatened by Russian aircraft."

Video of the incident, released Thursday morning, shows an unmanned $30 million MQ-9 "Reaper" drone flying over the Black Sea, close to Ukraine. The drone was conducting an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission in international airspace above international waters, U.S. officials said earlier this week. The video, released by the Pentagon, shows a fighter jet pass at close range before making another pass during which it allegedly hit the drone's propeller.

The Russian jet "dumped fuel upon and struck the propeller of the MQ-9, causing U.S. forces to have to bring the MQ-9 down in international waters," the Air Force said in a statement accompanying the video.

The drone was crashed into the Black Sea by the U.S. and sensitive data was wiped from the device, according to U.S. officials. Rubio said that while the airspace and the waters it is above are considered international, Russia had declared the airspace restricted.

Rubio also addressed comments from his state's governor, Republican Ron DeSantis, who recently called the war between Russia and Ukraine a "territorial dispute" and not one of the United States' "vital national interests."

The U.S. has to continue to stand with Ukraine, Rubio said, to maintain its position on the global stage.

"Ukraine is not the most important national security issue facing America, but it's not unimportant. There is a vital interest involved here, and one of them is that we haven't just invested money in Ukraine, we've invested our prestige and our credibility," Rubio said. "The argument that the Chinese are making is that the West is in terminal decline, the United States is a rapidly-declining, once-great superpower, and they're not going to do anything, they're not going to take on China."

"If we were to cut and run now, if we were to walk away from our commitment to Ukraine, the Chinese would point to that and say to our allies, 'How are you going to count on the United States? They're not going to be there. They abandoned Afghanistan chaotically and they ... couldn't sustain an effort in Ukraine against Russia,'" Rubio continued.

Instead, he said, the United States should continue to provide Ukraine with necessary aid. It's also important, Rubio said, to get "rich countries like Germany to do more" and "do their part" to aid Ukraine, and make sure no money is misspent.

"I don't think our interest there is zero, and so our effort there should not be zero either," Rubio said. Rubio says Russian jet collision with U.S. drone was "deliberate effort" and "direct test" of Biden administration

I agree with an IF. IF US/NATO cross the frontier. I don't think they want to. (Armchair General 6 star BTW) I think they will fight this to the last Ukrainian and then say, let's talk peace. Note Vietnam and Afghanistan.

But yeah if they do, that leaves Russia with just one alternative.

Just an FYI, if you'll hit the "reply" button, I'll get a ding letting me know someone replied. Not getting on to you, just saying I didn't know you said something to me, until I went flying by and saw it.

Concerning:

Saudi Arabia announced that they didn't feel like helping Credit Suisse with any loans.
My understanding is, it wasn't so much a "feel like" but rather investing more meant they would go over the 10% investment mark, and that would put them under a new set of regulations, and regulators, in the EU, WEF, IMF, and Mickey Mouse Club, and that is what they didn't want to happen, and I might add, I wouldn't either.

And those of us who don't control the world,.....yeah we're just meat on the hove. To be eaten when necessary, and brushed and combed when needed, and walked to cool off.

The WOKE pantywaists running this operation are caught up in the language war terms like "unsafe behavior" and "unprofessional" that have no meaning to an rudely awakened Grizzly Bear. He's pounding the daylights out of his opponents on the battlefield without mercy and then may raise the bar with nukes when needed.

The day B realizes that he ain't gonna run in 2024, he may then consider pulling an Afghanistan in Ukraine.

That would cement solid his place in history and leave his successor with an unbelievable foreign policy mess.

So you think the Ukainians will be genocided by the Russians?
Just the opposite!!!! Can you not see what is right before you???

Azov tried to genocide Russian people in Donbas / Donetsk. They still fire on civilians in Donetsk.
But wait, there's more.

You support Zelensky who vows to fight to the last Ukrainian and he will be fighting hard in his Miami villa sipping pina coladas. Zelensky is a tool of the deep state devils as he supports their encroachment on Russia. Every day that continues means another 200-400 Ukraine deaths. This did not have to happen.
