As more and more people take matters into their own hands to deal with the looters and rioters, even the Latin gangs in Chicago are coming off looking like the good guys, as they are fighting off the looters. It appears as though several shootings took place, as you can hear shots ringing out as people start scattering.

Here is one of the videos from one of the encounters:

In another video, we see a few more shootouts, as well as the gangs ramming their big trucks into the looters’ cars. One guy hollers out “F** the looters, n****, we protect this hood. .. . I had A whole group fo m*****f*****s out here trying to loot, they were just parked right here, we f***** said no, get the f*** out of our f****** neighborhood. We will not let our f****** neighborhoods f****** burn!”

Heavy language warning (duh):

It appears as though this took place in Cicero, just west of Chicago.

Chicago Sun Times adds:

Of course this being Chicago, this must all be fake news, because they have some of the strictest gun control laws in the country. Welcome to the liberal utopia!
Good for the gangs! Protect what is yours!! It is the American way.

They also found a set of car keys in the grass near the Western Service Center belonging to a Ford Fiesta parked in a nearby parking lot. They later executed a search warrant on the vehicle, which was registered to Ziegler, and found liquor bottles, a store receipt from last Thursday for three bandanas, an empty cardboard box for 12 mason jars, an empty Kingsford brand lighter fluid bottle, alcohol bottles, a plastic jar containing a clear unidentified liquid and a store receipt from last Wednesday for nail polish remover.

Interesting that the crisis actors are retaining their store receipts.

Why?

It sure seems to indicate that they are being compensated for their purchases.

Why else hang on to a receipt for days?

Bad move because it shows the prosecutor that the items are their property and it also shows premeditation and planning.

Dem AG: Letting America Burn Is the Path to Growth
Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey / AP
Josh Christenson - JUNE 3, 2020 7:00 PM

Massachusetts attorney general Maura Healey (D.) on Tuesday refused to denounce the violent riots occurring nationwide, likening them to the purifying effects of a forest fire.
"Yes, America is burning, but that's how forests grow," Healey said in a speech delivered to the Boston Chamber of Commerce.
Healey, who is also the co-chair of the Democratic Attorneys General Association, repeated her remarks in a tweet later the same day, adding that Americans need to "seize the opportunity" to rid the country of "institutionalized racism," which she blamed for the violence.
Republican Attorneys General Association chairman Jeff Landry called on Healey to renounce her statement shortly after, criticizing her for "inflammatory rhetoric."

"Maura Healey’s inflammatory rhetoric is part of the problem, not a solution," Landry said. "An AG is elected to uphold the rule of law and protect life and property, not to violate their oath and incite additional violence by inflaming emotions and condoning lawlessness. AG Healey has an obligation to quell fear, not incite further damage and destruction."

Landry affirmed that all who seek to harm or kill "must be held accountable" during this time.

"The wrongful death of any innocent life is a tragedy. That includes George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, and now the numerous law enforcement officers and business owners who have been killed or assaulted as a result of these riots and domestic terrorism. Criminal elements have infiltrated peaceful protests, and those individuals breaking the law must be held accountable," he said.

Healey's remarks come after a week of protests in cities nationwide sparked by the death of George Floyd, a black man who was killed as a white police officer pinned him to the ground and refused to let him get back up.

The protests have taken a violent turn by night in many of America's cities. Businesses have been ransacked, cars and homes have been set ablaze, and cultural sites have been defaced.

In Minneapolis, where George Floyd was killed and the protests began last week, fires consumed cars, businesses, and homes last weekend, and the city's 3rd Precinct headquarters was set ablaze by protesters.

On Sunday night in Washington, D.C., some protesters set the historic St. John's Church on fire, which stands a block from the White House. The fires were doused before any damage was done to the main sanctuary, but the church's nursery was destroyed.

You can’t really make this stuff up.

A short news update flashed on my phone DeBlasio’s New York City administration has established mid July as the date you can eat in NY City restaurant.

They want the continued ban to protect people from Close Contact, because large gatherings would put people at risk...

:jstr::jstr::jstr::jstr::jstr::jstr:

This I’m sure will be reported in the New York Times without any sense of irony...

LOL!

In another lifetime (50's 60's), I used to live near the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Used to be mostly Germans. I don't know how it is now.

Chicago has always had -very- clearly delineated ethnic neighborhoods. Go in the wrong neighborhood and you encountered some risk.

I see the Latin Kings are upholding that tradition in Cicero.

Just got back to the house and turned on the TV. All the networks have the funeral on. What a crock. Hopefully they will broadcast all the funerals of those killed by the blm and antifa terrorists.

Agreed. I bet not one of the LEO's will get a nationally broadcast memorial/funeral. Certainly not four or more. I had to turn the TV off. It looked like it was going to fly through the wall.

Demonstrators March Over The Brooklyn Bridge With George Floyd's Brother| NBC New York
•Started streaming 3 hours ago

NBC New York

After a full week of protests across New York City, thousands will gather again Thursday for a vigil to honor the life of George Floyd, whose death sparked demonstrations in all 50 states calling to end police brutality and racial justice. Protesters will join Terrence Floyd, George Floyd's brother who lives in Brooklyn, Thursday afternoon at Brooklyn's Cadman Plaza Park before taking to the streets and marching across the Brooklyn Bridge as they have done on previous days. This time, the man whose brother's death sparked protests across America and, increasingly the globe, will lead them in that somber journey over the span to Foley Square, which has been the scene of a number of NYC rallies this week.
