The brick pile thing is real.

When I was doing building security yesterday, my buddy called an Orlando (FL) Lieutenant on speaker phone. The Lt was coordinating the effort in Orlando to have city work crews with trucks go around and pick up pile of bricks that turned up all over the city. I was not sure if the ones on the internet were just wrong place wrong time, like there for sidewalk fixing when the riots happened. These piles are in areas where there is nothing brick anywhere around.

That kind of effort takes real money and hopefully, bank cards that can be tracked back to the source. It takes even more effort to hide a money trail like this by having MANY people go out and buy gift cards and pre paid credit cards, and then that can be tracked back. It takes longer and some detective work. It is hard to lay hands on that much green cash to avoid tracking of this via the banking system.

It almost seems like someone has been planning for years, and laying the ground work for quite a while.

Wanna bet they might have war-gamed the whole 'they can trace the cc back to us' angle?

Nah, that's crazy talk. It's totally a grass-roots protests. Totally.

WHO WE ARE
We are Abolitionist:
We believe that prisons, police and all other institutions that inflict violence on Black people must be abolished and replaced by institutions that value and affirm the flourishing of Black lives.
We believe in centering the experiences and leadership of the most marginalized Black people, including but not limited to those who are trans and queer, women and femmes, currently and formerly incarcerated, immigrants, disabled, working class, and poor.
We believe in transformation and a radical realignment of power:
The current systems we live inside of need to be radically transformed, which includes a realignment of global power. We are creating a proactive, movement-based vision instead of a reactionary one.
We build kinship with one another:
We draw from political lessons, grow in our leadership, and expanding our base to build a stronger movement.
We are anti-capitalist:
We believe and understand that Black people will never achieve liberation under the current global racialized capitalist system.
Sounds like it would better and easier for them just to move back to Africa.

We have the full toxology report from the coroner; have we seen one the family ordered?

Here are the positive findings. There is more info in this doc but it's all above my pay scale. Do we have someone that can look at these numbers and tell how high his intoxication level was? My guess is he was too messed up to drive and that's why they were still sitting in the car when the cops came. I suspect he may have been already experiencing problems; it looked to me like his legs were buckling when the officer was trying to get him out of the car.

His 2 friends tried to get back into the car and I suspect there were drugs in there.

Positive Findings:
Compound, Result & Units, Matrix Source

Caffeine = Positive, mcg/mL, 001 - Hospital Blood
Cotinine = Positive, ng/mL, 001 - Hospital Blood
4-ANPP = 0.65 ng/mL, 003 - Hospital Blood
11-Hydroxy Delta-9 THC = 1.2 ng/mL, 001 - Hospital Blood
Delta-9 Carboxy THC = 42 ng/mL, 001 - Hospital Blood
Delta-9 THC = 2.9 ng/mL, 001 - Hospital Blood
Methamphetamine = 19 ng/mL, 001 - Hospital Blood
Fentanyl = 11 ng/mL,, 001 - Hospital Blood
Norfentanyl = 5.6 ng/mL,, 001 - Hospital Blood
Cannabinoids = Presump Pos ng/mL , 012 - Urine
Amphetamines = Presump Pos ng/mL, 012 - Urine
Fentanyl / Metabolite = Presump Pos ng/mL, 012 - Urine
Morphine - Free = 86 ng/mL, 012 - Urine

Interesting that the crisis actors are retaining their store receipts.

Why?

It sure seems to indicate that they are being compensated for their purchases.

Why else hang on to a receipt for days?

Bad move because it shows the prosecutor that the items are their property and it also shows premeditation and planning.
Wasn't there a bomber guy who got caught because he was trying to get the deposit back on the box truck?

I do believe I said the charges against the other cops ain't gonna stick.
This solidifies that statement if true.

Attorney Earl Gray, who is representing former Minneapolis police officer Thomas Lane, said Thursday in court that it was his client’s fourth shift and J. Alexander Kueng’s third as officers in the field when George Floyd was killed. Gray also said that Derek Chauvin was their training officer.

KEY FACTS
Lane, Kueng, and Tou Thao, the three now-former officers seen next to Chauvin in the now-viral video of Floyd’s death, made their first appearances in Hennepin County District Court earlier today, where a judge set bail for the trio accused of aiding and abetting in Floyd’s death at $750,000 each.
Chauvin, who Gray identified as the senior officer at the scene, saw his own charges upgraded to second-degree murder on Wednesday.

In court, Gray stressed that it was only Lane’s fourth day on the job and said his client only held Floyd’s feet so he couldn’t kick.
“What was my client supposed to do but follow what his training officer said?” Gray reportedly asked in court. Chauvin was also training Kueng.

A Minneapolis city government representative told Forbes that Lane and Kueng were both promoted from recruits to officers on December 10, and received their first unit assignments to the Third Precinct on March 1.
The two officers, who graduated in the same recruit class, were training and had just been assigned to patrol duty days before Floyd’s death.
KEY BACKGROUND
George Floyd died May 25 while being forcibly restrained by Lane, Kueng and Chauvin. Footage of the incident shows Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, ignoring Floyd’s plea, “I can’t breathe.” All four officers were fired a day after Floyd’s death. Chauvin faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison under his murder count and 10 years for manslaughter if convicted, and his fellow defendants face the same potential penalties as aiding and abetting second-degree murder equates to a second-degree murder charge under Minnesota law.

Oh... Chauvin is so effed...

Better keep him on suicide watch indefinitely

The suspect, 20-year-old Dzenan Camovic, pictured, has no criminal history but the Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating his background, sources said, and whether he is linked to ISIS or other terror groups.

A man shot by police after he slashed an officer in the neck in Brooklyn is being investigated for possible links to terrorism, police sources said Thursday.

The suspect, 20-year-old Dzenan Camovic, has no criminal history — but the Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating his background, sources said, and whether he is linked to ISIS or other terror groups.

The FBI’s William Sweeney said the New York office is on the case.

“We will respond as if one of our own is attacked,” he said in a statement.

Such terror probes typically involve looking at a person’s travel history and personal relationships, though it was not immediately clear why the NYPD and FBI have suspicions about him.

Camovic is an immigrant, possibly from Bosnia, officials and neighbors of the suspect said.
