Nowski, looting the Target store is a big escalation. The powers that be don't give a @$%%% if some Mom and Pop store gets gutted. They will care if one of the big boys, the new feudal elite, Walmart, Target, etc get looted bare. That will cost them money, out of their own pockets. Yep, this just went to the next level. Me thinks I will return to the gunstore and get some more mags and 5.56mm green tip ammo.:kaid:

I am the proud owner of a Windham Weaponry government issue W15 AR/M-16 clone, along with 6 mags, 5 20 round Vietnam era steel/aluminum mags. 200 training rounds, 40 green tips. I spent some time figuring out how to use the charging handle, lock it back, hit the button to send it forward, etc My only problem so far is I can't get the ejection port/dust cover to lock in place on the carrier. I found about a dozen youtube clips on how to remove the dust cover, but none how to lock it in place. Hell, I can't even remember if my M-16A1 even had a dust/ejection port cover.

I want to ammo up, amigo but I like it stripped down, maybe a scope or something. shit is coming down Doc, got the minefield set up yet?:crtmn:

If we can admit it, back in 1992 with the Rodney King Simi valley riots in LA, there was a point, one specific point, Red Baron, Mzkitty when the LAPD marched into one intersection, SWAT M-16's waving, looking and acting in full Darth Vader mode, took a look around that one intersection, got a radio call from Darth Vader command, about the 75 OTHER intersections now dissolving into chaos, figured out they could control maybe three of them, and then just turned around and left. You can see on the video where the black people had a light go on realized they were in control, and five minutes later LA was in total chaos.
I'm thinking that moment just happened and there will be no stopping the rioters now, at least not tonight.

I have been reading everything I can on George Floyd's murder for the last hour or more. I cannot believe these cops were that stupid and callous. I feel so sorry for innocent people and businesses being hurt, looted. I wish there were other ways to rally together for injustices besides destroying property and stealing.

No sympathy for the rioters at all, but the PD has an obligation to keep order and stop the looting. Apparently the police and their political bosses have lost their balls and are in pure defensive/survival mode.

I sincerely hope that every affected business closes their doors and never lets their shadow fall on Minneapolis again. Let the damned place look like Newark, where businesses didn't open for decades after their riots all that time ago! There should be consequences for destroying your city and whether they like it or not, Minneapolis will suffer those consequences!

After tonight's festivities, I think it is pretty clear that the four fired MPD officers are going to be arrested and charged on Thursday.

Who would do the actual arrests?

State police, Sheriff or what?
